I know that the program that Nancy Grace was intending on airing this weekend has been postponed, I do hope that it will cover the craziness put forward by the Anthony's (especially Cindy) over the past year.

It seems that July 1st was a very busy day for Casey...this is leading up to the MySpace posting from Cindy on the 3rd of July. I am guessing that something around this time is giving Cindy reason to believe that she isn't going to see Caylee anytime soon...at this point (?) Casey is meant to be in Jacksonville?
Hmmmm...on the 3rd Cindy is told that Casey had been in Jacksonville all week (by Casey!)...and the whole 'let's make a family' thing with Jeff. The 30th she said Jennifer, Zanny's roommate was watching Caylee cause Zanny couldn't. And Jennifer had Caylee at the park while Casey was working.....Um Universal. She said they were doing character breakfasts and she was taking her around the park. And that was pretty much the whole week.

It was not until Cindy went to Universal on the 3rd to get Caylee that Casey said they were in J'ville and had been all week.

July 3rd was a Thursday. When I hear "all week", I think of Sunday - Saturday or Monday - Sunday.

Our local JC Penney's Salon is a stickler for appointments. It is rare to be able to do a walk-in appointment. I am leaning toward the $73.40 a year ago yesterday was a cut, color and style. I think that is when Casey got the idea for a manicure and scheduled an appointment the following day.

Good point desmon. Maybe that was why Cindy, after checking her cc records, asked Casey about the hairdressers in the Aug jailhouse visit.

Of course we all know that no one had touched the princess' hair in like forever.

With the late release of the Aug 14 visit, I thought by the time I viewed the video that Cindy was fishing for the name of the hairdresser who took the cell phone picture of Caylee mentioned at the bond hearing, but the jailhouse visit would have occurred prior to the bond hearing.

Even though i've known from the start of this case that it was 31 days before Casey was made to report Caylee missing, I don't think it really sunk in untill reading what all she was doing each day. Also we have two weeks left before she get caught by Cindy and the 911 calls were made.

Manicure on July 1st. Out partying on July 2 with Amy. Casey got tattoo on July 3. Out partying and avoiding Lee on July 3. Party at Will's on July 4. Spent the day of July 5 with Will, until Tony returned from NY.

Last night people were thinking that Caylee was abused because of this video. I really can't see anything wrong except when the person running the video looks up underneath the tray. But I just think that was to get a different shot. Caylee just does not look or act like an abused child.

I still wonder how Cindy fits any of these things into a 'reality', it seems like everytime Casey was asked a question she gave a different answer depending on the day and the person.
If Cindy had have put 2 and 2 together....? How could Casey have been in Jacksonville, taking care of folks in a car accident...and her brother still be looking for her at a club?

I think that they have had great difficulty in getting the truth from Casey for many years. What saddens me greatly, is that this entire family is showing no effort towards Justice for Caylee.

Last night people were thinking that Caylee was abused because of this video. I really can't see anything wrong except when the person running the video looks up underneath the tray. But I just think that was to get a different shot. Caylee just does not look or act like an abused child.

My thoughts are that whoever took the video is emotionally distanced from Caylee. IMO, and MOO, this video shows someone who is using the camera to keep a distance, watching Caylee, objectifying her. There is no interaction. While I have silent videos of my kids, I do not have any of them obviously trying to reach out and connect with me, communicate with me. Caylee was being watched through a lens. Its very cold. While I don't see 'abuse' per se, I do not see love. I do see indifference. I don't like it.

The 30th she said Jennifer, Zanny's roommate was watching Caylee cause Zanny couldn't. And Jennifer had Caylee at the park while Casey was working.....Um Universal. She said they were doing character breakfasts and she was taking her around the park. And that was pretty much the whole week.

It was not until Cindy went to Universal on the 3rd to get Caylee that Casey said they were in J'ville and had been all week.

July 3rd was a Thursday. When I hear "all week", I think of Sunday - Saturday or Monday - Sunday.

I agree with Elle wholeheartedly on the videos being very cold with them being silent except for Caylee herself. I would love to see the expression on the face of the person behind the camera. I couldn't help but to picture Casey, looking at Caylee through that camera, getting "footage" of her so that she has something to remember her by, knowing what she had planned.

I think Casey got her self-worth from male attention. The way she went from man to man or at times many men all at the same time tells me that she craved male attention and thought without it she was worthless. I get the feeling she and Cindy competed for George's attention while she was young with the left out one throwing snits when the male attention wasn't on them. Look at Cindy's behavior at the park her clinging to men is it really any different than Casey's need to have a man in the bag and one on deck?

my bolding, it is strange, Casey goes from a bonding vacation to working, to playing nursemaid to Zanny and then segways to going to Jacksonville to try and create a family with Jeff Hopkins, a new story every week and Cindy accepted them, yet all this time Casey is driving around within a couple miles of her own home. I can't believe none of them, Lee, George or Cindy never caught sight of her in their travels to and from work . They never went on line to check her phone call log to see who she was calling? Call Cindy's credit card companies and ask be notified if any of those cards are used. Cindy knew Casey was BSing her yet did nothing, and when she voiced concerns to people (her mother) she really didn't want to hear any advice, as soon as it was offered, she made more excuses for Casey.

I think she probably was, and that was part of it, but I wonder if for that particular moment or day, she needed someplace neutral to go where she knew she wouldn't have to answer questions or keep up an act. She's been running a good scam on Caylee's disappearance for a couple of weeks now, she's been stealing, dodging home, and I think she truly wanted to impress her new group of friends and was constantly working to keep up appearances. I don't care who you are or how twisted your mind is - everyone needs to regroup every so often, and I wonder if, with Tony gone for awhile, Casey took this opportunity to go to Jesse's as a way of doing that.

I've seen multiple interviews of C&G where they have been asked if they ever, for a single moment, thought Casey might have been the one who killed Caylee. Their reply has always been that they trust her and believe what Casey tells them, that she's a wonderful mother, that she's their daughter and they stand behind her, blah, blah, blah. For once, I wish someone would ask them, "Let's just say we have irrefutable proof that she was the one who committed this crime, video tape of her actually doing it. Would you still support her during this or would you stand up for Caylee and demand justice for her, even though that means Casey being convicted?" Now to the last issue.. trust and lies..I know my daughters have lied to me, sometimes I catch them, sometimes miss but when it came to their children, I trusted them to have the welfare of their chilren first and foremost. But when that trust is broken.. it is the same issue like a married couple. Takes a long time to regain. Didn't mean for this to be so long.

You or so very right unconditional love does not even mean you agree with what they do. I loved my younger brother with all my love but I did not agree with his life style. He only worked part time and drank him self to death. He died with cancer at age 53. I still think of him and love him with all my heart but we did not live the same way.I tryed so hard to get him in church but he would not listen to me. He stayed at the bars all the time. I think of him all the time. On his death bed he accepted Christ as his personal savior and I pray I will see him again one day. jmho

While I suppose that is possible, I would think Jesse wouldn't have said she just asked to use the shower. He strikes me as being truthful, and if she had wanted to stay with him, I think he would have said so. :shrug: I doubt, too, that Casey would have beat around the bush. When she wants something, she asks for it (or just takes it).

Maybe I wasn't clear on what I was trying to say. :smile: What I meant was that when explaining in interviews why C&G are standing behind Casey and buying all of her lies, Cindy has thrown unconditional love into the equation, as if THAT is why they believe her. Its like Casey can do whatever she wants and its OK since she is their daughter and they'll back her up on it. I've tried to imagine if it were one of my kids in Casey's shoes and how I'd feel. It would be heart wrenching, but if they broke the law I wouldn't try to defend them if I knew the truth of what happened. I could understand having blinders on in the beginning and not wanting to accept the truth of what apparently happened, but the evidence is very difficult to deny at this point and I just don't see how a parent's love can be used to justify defending Caylee's murderer. But I agree, its a "hate the sin, love the sinner" kinda thing here. :wink: I just wonder when or if they will ever stand up and make Casey deal with the consequences of her actions.

Hmmmm...on the 3rd Cindy is told that Casey had been in Jacksonville all week (by Casey!)...and the whole 'let's make a family' thing with Jeff. But wasn't it the 3rd that Lee was sent out to look for Casey? And that was the same day that Cindy went to Universal to meet with Casey...only she wasn't there? And also the same day that Cindy wrote her emotional public post on MySpace?

I kept seeing mannerisms that seemed similar and hearing a tone of voice that just yelled Cindy. I guess the similar hairstyle and coloring has something to do with it, but it was eerie to me. These type of companies will call anyone who has the same last name as the debtor. A couple of years ago, I was receiving calls from one of these companies trying to reach my "brother" Randy. Randy's last name is the same as my maiden name...a name I have not used in 26 years and we are not related.

My thoughts are that whoever took the video is emotionally distanced from Caylee. IMO, and MOO, this video shows someone who is using the camera to keep a distance, watching Caylee, objectifying her. There is no interaction. While I have silent videos of my kids, I do not have any of them obviously trying to reach out and connect with me, communicate with me. Caylee was being watched through a lens. Its very cold. While I don't see 'abuse' per se, I do not see love. I do see indifference. I don't like it.

Just got home....so don't know if you are still on. I agree with you, but the whole family was that way about all of them. George called Cindy "his spouse". They all called Caylee "that little girl". Noone ever used their names.

Morning everyone. Grammie, that is an excellent question. Many of us had the thought that she was there to either start up the relationship with Jesse again (the open bathroom door) or to steal something from him.

Jesse Grund dodged a bullet so many times during this nightmare, imo.

Another poster a few weeks ago suggested that she may have gone to JG to try and steal something, something that she could use to possibley frame him for Caylee's death. I think that poster may have been on to something. What i don't know....but i dont know if kc is that smart.

I think when this goes to trial some of those questions might give us more insight.

I've been lurking here, enjoying your discussions from a distance for a long time but am just now registering. :biggrin: I feel like I know you all and really enjoy the differing opinions. I come here almost every day to get my Caylee fix, since NG has pretty much dropped her coverage of the case.

I agree with Elle wholeheartedly on the videos being very cold with them being silent except for Caylee herself. I would love to see the expression on the face of the person behind the camera. I couldn't help but to picture Casey, looking at Caylee through that camera, getting "footage" of her so that she has something to remember her by, knowing what she had planned.

my bolding, it is strange, Casey goes from a bonding vacation to working, to playing nursemaid to Zanny and then segways to going to Jacksonville to try and create a family with Jeff Hopkins, a new story every week and Cindy accepted them, yet all this time Casey is driving around within a couple miles of her own home. I can't believe none of them, Lee, George or Cindy never caught sight of her in their travels to and from work . They never went on line to check her phone call log to see who she was calling? Call Cindy's credit card companies and ask be notified if any of those cards are used. Cindy knew Casey was BSing her yet did nothing, and when she voiced concerns to people (her mother) she really didn't want to hear any advice, as soon as it was offered, she made more excuses for Casey.

So in these conversations, I guess this is when Casey was spooling her web of lies about why Cindy couldn't see Caylee. I don't know why I had the impression that they never actually talked on the phone, only texted each other, since I figured Casey was avoiding Cindy's calls like the plague. I wonder how many different lies Casey told Cindy about why Caylee couldn't come to the phone. She's sleeping, she's in the tub, she's at the park, she's at Disney, she's at the beach, she's playing with the kids next door, she's outside...ad nauseum. Cindy obviously had suspicions that these were excuses or lies, as evidenced by the July 3rd "My Caylee is Missing" Myspace post.

Although it would've changed nothing, since it seems Caylee was killed within hours or 1 or 2 days from when Casey left home, it still is astonishing that it took the notification of the car being towed to bring things to a head and involve LE. How long would Cindy and George have let this go on before taking further action if the car hadn't been towed? What would they have done to find Casey?

One wonders. I see Ish is having similar thoughts today as well.

ITA she was there to steal something or use Jesse in some way. I really don't think she was worried about getting "caught" as she was just coasting living day to day. And the Nanny story was working so far. She knew on Caylees bday she would have to say something but just had it planned to say Zanny won't bring her back.

I now agree also that she was probably there to steal from Jesse. I always thought before that she took a shower at Jesse's to try to plant evidence or something along those lines, but now that a few of you have mentioned that maybe she was there to steal from Jesse, that makes much more sense to me.

Casey probably didn't have much cash at this point (if any). All she had was her mom's JC Penney's charge card. She also didn't have her car any longer, but at least she had TonE's for the time being. She still had a week or so before she would be able to steal checks/money from Amy so she was probably getting desperate at this point.

ITA, I would like to think someone else was responsible for Caylee's death, to think her own mother took her life is beyond beleif. Hello everyone. Been lurking here since day 1, not posting much. Thanks to all of you for the informed discussion, to Desmon for all the one year ago today posts, and Happy Birthday to Lavinia. I have enjoyed your sharp witt (silently) for some time now!

I broke my toe Sunday - had to have it set (it was 90 degrees from my foot - ouch) and was out of work Mon and Tues. So I watched a lot of TV, and found myself making this very odd connection between Kate (Jon and Kate plus 8) and Cindy. I know it probably seems strange, but the more I watched Kate tell her husband what an inadequate job he had done at choosing jackets for the kids, winding up the garden hose, watching them in the water, and on and on ad nauseum, the more I saw CINDY. I kept seeing mannerisms that seemed similar and hearing a tone of voice that just yelled Cindy. I guess the similar hairstyle and coloring has something to do with it, but it was eerie to me. This is pretty far off topic, so I apologize, but wondered if anyone else had possibly made the same weird connection. MOO, TIA

I think she probably was, and that was part of it, but I wonder if for that particular moment or day, she needed someplace neutral to go where she knew she wouldn't have to answer questions or keep up an act. She's been running a good scam on Caylee's disappearance for a couple of weeks now, she's been stealing, dodging home, and I think she truly wanted to impress her new group of friends and was constantly working to keep up appearances. I don't care who you are or how twisted your mind is - everyone needs to regroup every so often, and I wonder if, with Tony gone for awhile, Casey took this opportunity to go to Jesse's as a way of doing that.

This probably sounds odd...but i can tell if someone other then my husband or me have been in our house while i am away at work, shopping etc.

I would think that the A would have to know that kc was sneaking in and out taking food etc while they were not at home.

I have the same sense, I have 5 brothers all have keys to my house, one or the other will often stop by and use the bathroom (they work on the road) or to borrow a tool. Never touch anything else, yet I know instantly when I walk in the door that someone has been in the house since I left, no fear that it was an intruder, just the knowledge that one of them was there. Sometimes I even sense which one it was.
Cindy knew, she even told her mother that Casey was coming by and taking things. I can't believe how she just let these things slide by, change the door locks, get an alarm, just don't let her keep getting away with it.. She had to suspect something was terribly wrong, I would have parked my car elsewhere and waited all day if I had to in order to catch her.

Maybe I wasn't clear on what I was trying to say. :smile: What I meant was that when explaining in interviews why C&G are standing behind Casey and buying all of her lies, Cindy has thrown unconditional love into the equation, as if THAT is why they believe her. Its like Casey can do whatever she wants and its OK since she is their daughter and they'll back her up on it. I've tried to imagine if it were one of my kids in Casey's shoes and how I'd feel. It would be heart wrenching, but if they broke the law I wouldn't try to defend them if I knew the truth of what happened. I could understand having blinders on in the beginning and not wanting to accept the truth of what apparently happened, but the evidence is very difficult to deny at this point and I just don't see how a parent's love can be used to justify defending Caylee's murderer. But I agree, its a "hate the sin, love the sinner" kinda thing here. :wink: I just wonder when or if they will ever stand up and make Casey deal with the consequences of her actions.

But I also agree, after seeing several posts and watching the high chair video again, and watching Caylee singing, talking, goofing around, trying to get the person behind the camera to interact with her, that's there's something just really wrong about the complete and utter silence behind the camera. I don't think the "ugly coping" thing will work for anyone. I wonder the same thing, what can her defense team possibly come up with that would convince a jury that she didn't murder Caylee?? She is a proven liar and thief.....why belief anything that comes out of her mouth?

Casey charged $73.40 a year ago yesterday and then returned a year ago today and charged another $31.93.

Our local JC Penney's Salon is a stickler for appointments. It is rare to be able to do a walk-in appointment. I am leaning toward the $73.40 a year ago yesterday was a cut, color and style. I think that is when Casey got the idea for a manicure and scheduled an appointment the following day.

The first thing that popped into my mind yesterday when I saw the $73.40 charged to Cindy's J.C. Penney card was that maybe that's when KC bought the Winnie the Pooh blanket/comforter to replace the one she had thrown in with poor little Caylee when she disposed of her. Does anyone know where the Winnie blankets were purchased? Was it J.C. Penney's or Sears? (I dont' know why "Sears" is in the back of my mind regarding the comforter set).

I always assumed it was Cindy who bought replacement items. Casey wouldn't spend a dime on something that wasn't directly for her. I dunno - everyone seems to assume it was Casey so maybe I'm missing something date-wise? :confused:

All the news I got tonight was about mj. They can;t even make up their minds where to put him or where to have the viewing. I guess we will not hear any thing about this case for a very long time. Guess I'll add that Casey did next to nothing to cover her tracks. If she wanted to be cunning she would've taken a few articles of Caylee's clothing when she was sneaking into the house for her own clothes and stealing money. Just to keep her family certain that Caylee was indeed with her. She could've done so many simple easy things to make her story more believable but she didn't.

Buying replacement items like the blanket, even if it was with her mother's cc or with Amy's stolen checks just wasn't her MO. IMO.

I would give just about anything to be in Florida when the trial starts I bet they could sell the seat'son Caylee's side. WE who ARE on CAYLEE"S side would pay top dollar to have a seat I'm sure. Ha, yes! That story of the nanny having duplicates of every single thing Caylee needed was so idiotic I forgot about it.

But I think that was concoted way after the fact, like everything else. In real time I don't know why she didn't grab something on the fly just to make it look semi-realistic.

Anyway, I was just using that as an example of her never covering her own tracks or cleaning up her own messes, which is why it seemed obvious to me, IMO, that Cindy was the one to buy replacement items, if any were bought.

I've always thought that she wanted him to come in so they could have sex, too. I think she uses it to feel powerful over men, to prove to herself that she can make them want her in that way. Of course, it could be that she was just "in the mood" and he was handy. My Grandson has a blanket similar to that one and I bought it at TJ Max. I have seen them at baby depo, babies r us, as well as the regular dept stores. She could have bought a replacement just about anywhere.....including JC Penneys regardless of where the original was purchased. The $73.40 seems about right for the comforter. It seems like an odd amount for a hair cut or manicure.....the 40 cents. JMO

FWIW, sales tax in Orange County is 6.50%. Calculating backwards, the item or items totaled $68.92. With $4.48 sales tax, it comes to $73.40.

I would think, if Cindy was truly such a doting grandma, Caylee would've eventually given up trying to reach for Casey and would've accepted Cindy as her "momma" for all intents and purposes.

The fact she didn't gives more credibility to suspicions Caylee was not much more than a pawn, a game piece in the power struggle between Cindy and Casey.

Meanwhile, poor little Caylee was just trying to bond with one or the other or both of them, I'll bet. But they were too consumed with their game to notice. Tragic and infuriating all at the same time.

Until I started putting witness statements down on a calendar, it was just a bunch of dates and didn't mean much to me.

I hope the Prosecution has a giant calendar on an easel in the court room so the jurors can put everything into perspective.
