For real.
And by the time NG comes on, everything new in the MJ case has been hashed, re-hashed, re-mixed, re-run ... you get my drift. :glare:

I agree with you. Caylee would have bonded with the one who was giving her the most support, the most reassurance, the most interaction. From what we've heard, that probably should have been Cindy--but we don't see evidence of that either. So I think you hit it, Caylee was just a pawn in the game between Cindy and Casey.
This fits, too, with Cindy saying they couldn't afford to adopt Caylee. Really? They were already paying all her expenses, and if they adopted Caylee, they could say sayonara to Casey so they'd actually be saving money. In-family adoption is not expensive. Cindy didn't want to adopt Caylee because she had Casey as the babysitter, and she got to hold that over Casey's head--make her perform.
Sick family dynamics.
I think that if Cindy was the grandmother (caring grandmother she claimed to me) she would make it work. You are correct they did everything physically for Caylee from putting a roof over her head to feeding her, buying her cloths, toys and she had her bedroom and a bed to sleep in. The only thing left would be child care and that would not be such a burden. I wouldn't understand Cindy saying she couldn't afford that. We as mothers who were a lot younger who had jobs figured it out. Caylee would report to a day care school every morning like the rest of the children do who's parents work. She had weekends off. Caylee was with George and Cindy a lot more than Casey was.
Cindy was an RN, In fact she was a supervisor and they make bank.
The only issue is, George would have to step up to the plate and keep a job too. Things just automatically work out when you need them to work out. Grandparents do it everyday. Cindy could have adopted that baby if she was so deeply concerned about the welfare of that baby Caylee.
Was she really?

Imo, the only person Cindy is capable of being deeply concerned about is Cindy. I think she's a narcissist just like her daughter. The outward appearance is about as deep as she gets. Just doesn't have it in her, imo.

Ha, yes! That story of the nanny having duplicates of every single thing Caylee needed was so idiotic I forgot about it.
But I think that was concoted way after the fact, like everything else. In real time I don't know why she didn't grab something on the fly just to make it look semi-realistic.
Anyway, I was just using that as an example of her never covering her own tracks or cleaning up her own messes, which is why it seemed obvious to me, IMO, that Cindy was the one to buy replacement items, if any were bought.
But I think I'm alone in this ... :blushing:
Nope, Summer, not alone. I agree with you. Too stupid/thoughtless to grab anything for Caylee while she was at home IS a good example of why she wouldn't bother replacing the blanket either. Saying the blanket is at the nanny's is much more believeable than saying the nanny has duplicates of everything thus she didn't need to get clothes for Caylee. Casey = stupid and selfish.
And I agree that if it wasn't for her, she wasn't spending her hard-stolen money.
This is something we will likely find out about since LE will know exactly what she bought.

I agree. Maybe that's why Cindy made all the hub bub about not wanting to turn over the receipts. Not to hide what Casey bought, but to hide what she had bought.

Hello nightshift! Just bopping back and forth between here and the MJ board...anything new?
Evening Velvet. How are you tonight.
Looks like we are working with nothing real knew. Quite a few things came up today that made a pretty good discussion. Looks like we will hash it out and give our point of view on them.
Waiting for the rest of the night shift to come in.
Usually about midnight. Until then I'm going lurking thru today's subjects and see if I have something I may think about in a situation. Casey/Cindy/Georga, they're all hard to figure out so the sky's the limit on these misguided wannabe's.

Nice to see you Dlynn...MJ has knocked everyone off the air, he''s even on NG!
I can't believe we have to wait another year for the trial of the OC and justice for Caylee...I'll lurk for a while, but I'm getting tired...maybe I'll see you later..

My thoughts are that whoever took the video is emotionally distanced from Caylee. IMO, and MOO, this video shows someone who is using the camera to keep a distance, watching Caylee, objectifying her. There is no interaction. While I have silent videos of my kids, I do not have any of them obviously trying to reach out and connect with me, communicate with me. Caylee was being watched through a lens. Its very cold. While I don't see 'abuse' per se, I do not see love. I do see indifference. I don't like it.
This is an interesting observation. Caylee was always hoping for some kind of positive attention. However, when watching Caylee in these videos you could tell she wasn't expecting a response. She was just on her own.
I believe Casey thought of Caylee like some live doll you might get for Christmas as a child. She never spent anytime with her. And based on what we've seen when she did have her I not once seen her ever be genuine with Caylee like a mother would be to her daughter. Caylee did not respond to Casey and Casey never responded to Caylee. Even in the high chair I noticed when Caylee put her hands out she NOT ONCE said "Mommy." Reason being she did not see Caylee as her "Momma."
She didn't laugh or goof around silly as one child would if someone was shooting a video. (Especially at her age)
Caylee was was definently a loner.

Hi friends :seeya:
Just popping in to let you know I'm still alive.
I have been sooo busy with the house on the market and all that goes with moving.
I did get an offer and if all goes well I will be moved out by the end of the month.
I am soooooo far behind on the board, haven't even had a chance to read, much less post. I'm happy that it's not trial time, otherwise I'd be missing so much more than you all.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers and I will try and get back here more often as time allows.

FWIW, sales tax in Orange County is 6.50%. Calculating backwards, the item or items totaled $68.92. With $4.48 sales tax, it comes to $73.40.
I tend to agree with another poster from yesterday. I believe OC spent the $73.40 on getting her hair done, and maybe bought a few hair care products during her visit. Hence the strange sales figure. Casey is all about Casey. She wouldn't have thought ahead to cover her tracks and replace the Pooh blanket. MOO
