Yes on June 28...

Just goes to show how dumb Casey really is. At 22 years of age, she should have already known the danger of her car being towed by leaving it parked like she did.

I kind of like the daily events also.

When I started these, they were pretty easy with Casey's day to day life. It appears her life was focused on partying and boys.

Mid-June was tough. Casey carried on with her life like "it was just a normal day". This chic is cold!

Now I am working on July. It is like she was on one giant Spring Break...partying, tattoos, manicures, shopping, more partying.

If I was going to dump a car where it would go unnoticed, it would not be in a small parking lot like Amscot's. I would leave it at a 24 hour grocery store/big box store, mall or airport parking lot.

IMO, Casey acts before thinking.

Just reading what was said between Casey and Amy gave me a bit of anxiety, in some ways I just can't believe Casey didn't psychologically cave..by all rights I suppose she still hasn't.
At this point Caylee was already dead, and probably in those woods...or would be soon. Amy is still under the assumption that Cindy and George were leaving and that she would be moving into that house...that is why she wanted to know where to have her camera sent. Good grief...
And it sounds like Amy had all of her stuff in storage and she was meant to be going to get it...I wonder what Casey continued to tell her for her to believe that? Did Amy still believe all the way up until Cindy called her to go to TonE's that she would be moving into the house?
I wonder if Casey ever did come out and tell Amy the 'truth'...that her parents were going nowhere soon...and there was no way they were getting that house?
I would have an anxiety attack over a small white lie involving no one else...add all of those up together and I would have a breakdown of some kind...nerves of steel. Of course if I truly had a 'missing' child...I would have been a basket case on June 16th..

Casey never called C, G or Lee for help. How did Cindy know the gas gauge was broken when she was interviewed by Greta? According to docs. the gauge was working. Tho the tank was empty[when impounded], they[LE] added 5 gal. of fuel and the gauge worked. Huh.....

A "little confusing" LOL. I think that George was purposefully being evasive and this just makes me want to see proof that he "was" working and what days/hours. I think George is a huge liar.

George clearly wasn't working an 8 hour day on July 15th. I do remember him saying that he didn't have an opportunity to get to the PO on July 14th to pick up the certified letter as he worked that day (first day on the job).

I remember early in the case I had a picture of Casey's license in one of the doc dumps because I actually looked it up to see if it was valid. IIRC it expired on her birthday this year. I'm wondering what the issue date was and if it were a duplicate. I can't find it anywhere. grrrr

Amy was so kind hearted to Casey, especially after Casey led her on to think that she could move into the Anthony home.

So in retrospect it was true for Casey, she had a lot more freedom after Caylee was 'gone'.
Casey had to accomodate Caylee with everything she wanted to do...and I still believe Caylee was left to sleep in that car for periods of time. Actually when they found the dinner/table knife in the car I figured Casey had it to cut food for Caylee...things like pizza and sandwiches?
It doesn't seem like Casey even missed a beat...once Caylee was 'gone' she was totally free to do whatever whenever she wanted. Actually I suppose with the new group of friends around..they wouldn't question really where she was..As long as she stayed away from old friends and her family, no one would be that much wiser at all.
It may not have been a plan but had Casey been a bit 'quicker' it could have maybe worked, especially since she had George and Cindy that just believed whatever she said. If Casey had have made it to a different state, not have abandoned the car but just parked it in that state at some random large parking lot...it would take a very long time for anyone (even Cindy) to pin her down.
Even with Caylee's body being found...without anyone suspecting or looking for Caylee..I doubt it would have been as 'significant' as it was. I doubt Roy Cronk would have been poking around randomly for dead bodies..
I wonder if Casey ever re-thinks this situation and what she would have done differently?

I like the daily reports but I would like for you to do what is easiest for you. The updates are greatly appreciated and when done daily it is easy to reflect back and see a little insight into this case.And to really focus and see that there was really NO thought of Caylee. For instance, I noticed that you brought up the fact that Casey made purchases at J.C. Pennys on at three dates with Cindy's CC, one with Tony in tow, one with Amy in tow. Yet, just a few days apart.

Sounds like Casey was making some weak attempt in regards to getting her car from where she'd parked it at the Amscot. But did not ask Tony to help her. She did ask Jessee, right? And, Amy.

I always kinda of though that Casey wanted the gas cans to burn the car and the evidence. IMO she didn't want to pick it up but she didn't want details of her buying a gas can either else why did she need Amy or Jesse to buy the gas can.

It seemed to me that Amscot refused to cash that third forged check from Cindy's account, and that must have given Casey a scare, because she stopped trying to cash any more of them at the Amscot.

The video of Casey cashing a forged check from Amy's account, at the BofA just leaves me with the feeling that this isn't the first time that Casey has pulled off this criminal act.

It boggles my my mind that Casey had no resources to retrieve her car, yet could get herself a tattoo on July 2/3. She had a funny way of setting priorities. Here's a slightly OT observation.

Our 38 year old single son has been out of work since November...after 18 years working at the same place. WE have been paying his house payment since November. We don't want him to lose his house...because I'm not giving up my puter room. lol

But my observation has been how different I've been treating him lately. Almost like I have control over him. Sending him job links....following up if he sent in resumes...etc. I have always stayed out of my adult children's lives.

So you can imagine the control Cindy had over Casey. At least I'm not a b**ch. I'm not giving Casey a free pass. But you can imagine the dynamics in that household.

Yes, she did have a funny way with money. Whenever it fell into her lap, she spent it, asap, on whatever. Not caring when she'd get her next windfall or what she might need later on.

When Casey had money, she spent it on her selfish self. I doubt she ever spent any of her money that she stole/happened upon on Caylee or on mundane things like gas for her car. Why would she when she could mooch off of friends to bring gas to her or go steal her parent's gas cans out of their shed.:sneaky:

I also find it interesting that she had money to get a manicure and a tattoo, but apparently not enough to buy a gas can to put some gas in her car. I can't imagine that the tattoo was cheap and manicures can run $25.00+. She definitely had mixed up priorities because most people would buy their necessities first, and then use anything left over for things like manicures or tattoos. Of course, most people have a job to get their money, they don't go around stealing it from people like Casey did.

years ago, a neighbor of mine had $$ and jewelry stolen from her by her own daughter (who was in to drugs and pawned the jewelry to turn it into cash). when the the mom realised what was going on, she moved everything of value in the house into her bedroom and had a lock installed on her own bedroom door

So in retrospect it was true for Casey, she had a lot more freedom after Caylee was 'gone'.
Casey had to accomodate Caylee with everything she wanted to do...and I still believe Caylee was left to sleep in that car for periods of time. Actually when they found the dinner/table knife in the car I figured Casey had it to cut food for Caylee...things like pizza and sandwiches?
It doesn't seem like Casey even missed a beat...once Caylee was 'gone' she was totally free to do whatever whenever she wanted. Actually I suppose with the new group of friends around..they wouldn't question really where she was..As long as she stayed away from old friends and her family, no one would be that much wiser at all.
It may not have been a plan but had Casey been a bit 'quicker' it could have maybe worked, especially since she had George and Cindy that just believed whatever she said. If Casey had have made it to a different state, not have abandoned the car but just parked it in that state at some random large parking lot...it would take a very long time for anyone (even Cindy) to pin her down.
Even with Caylee's body being found...without anyone suspecting or looking for Caylee..I doubt it would have been as 'significant' as it was. I doubt Roy Cronk would have been poking around randomly for dead bodies..
I wonder if Casey ever re-thinks this situation and what she would have done differently?

No they haven't worked one day since 7/16/08... At casey's bond hearing they were behind in some of their bills.. the had 2 mortgages at that time..not counting all their other bills, 2 car payments, utilities(gas, lights, water, garbage, phone bills, cable, Internet.) 3 car insurances, house insurance, food, tons of bottled water, credit card bills, vet bills, gas for cars.health insurance, property taxes.. cell phone bills,etc.. now since Caylee's death they are not behind. not working and are better off now then they've ever been financially then they've ever been.. not to mention the added expenses like clothes to do all the tv interviews, cindys, hair and make up, all the gum. the P.I's attorneys.. I read they were 56,000 or 58,000 in credit card debt when this started and now the owe around 2,000 on there credit cards..

I guess selling off all their dead granddaughters possessions pays well for them.. I guess crime does pay.. pretty sad when your daughter murders your granddaughter (who you claim to love) and then you live high off the hog by her blood. IMO its blood money from Caylee..
Then to think Caylee's pictures and videos are still being sold to pay for c & g living expenses and casey's attorneys.. down right sickening..

You are right. Baez has been very quiet, and I suspect that perhaps that reason is Lyon. I do remember Baez asking in one of his motions, a delay for 60 days on a ruling, to allow Lyon to get up to speed on the case. With that in mind, mid-late July should get interesting.

With the State's motion asking that the check/fraud charges be set for trial this summer, perhaps that has surprised Baez. I'm sure we'll find out eventually. LOL

I think Mallory lost the assumption of being a good little girl the night psycho finally called the police. Mallory knew all along what really happened. During Lee's interview with the detectives he told the detective that we the family met Bozo at his office to go over those receipts Lee became suspicious that some of them were missing. I think when she said "What did you do!?!"" the night her and Lee were in her bedroom before the cops got there and Cindy overheard them...and on the phone call from jail, she told Casey, "look sweetie, I don't know your involvement..." and I think Lee knew it when he told her on the same phone call..."You're making it really hard for any of us to even want to help you." ...or something along those lines...

If George ever got out from underneath her thumb long enough to finish the job he started in Daytona that night, he'd think hard about it, imo... I don't think Cindy is mentally ill. I think she is a straight up control freak and she has to be right all the time. She will argue with a corpse for the sake of arguing. The only reason why she is covering for Casey is because she still wants to believe her little baby Casey would never do this to her own child. She believes she knows Casey and thinks Casey does not have it in her. The reason is because she looks at herself and sees Casey and knows she wouldn't do anything like killing her own child. Cindy still thinks Casey is covering to save the family from harm. I think Casey kept telling her this when she was home with that monitor on her and Cindy believes she's protecting the family.
Cindy thinks it's some mobster's doing. Altho Casey never would tell her who the people involved were she believes Casey and believes as long as Casey does not talk they will be protected.
