I agree with that. But when a parent clearly is not involved in their childs disappearance we shouldn't blame them. We could play devils advocate and say those folks that can afford surveillance cameras in their home do nothing but document the abuse after the fact. Anyone rich or poor that let someone watch their children have a certain degree of expectation. Having surveillance in your home doesn't protect your kids it just provides evidence(if the abuse happens IN FRONT of those cameras.)
Oh I totally agree with you anon. That's why this issues is not for just family members and friends. One never knows just who might snap or be a less than desirable caregiver.
I remember going thru a licensed agency when my boy was a year old and I took the afternoon off and when I walked in my front door I heard my son crying in his crib and there sat the caregiver reading a magazine eating bon bons. When I walked in his room his diaper was wet and his sheets. I told her to leave immediately. This was 27 years ago. It's difficult to be right on making decisions on who will be taking great interest in your child. Very difficult.

Someone brought this up a day or so ago.........when was the date that Cindy texted kc telling her "We have a problem"
What problem was that? That the car had been towed and not stolen?
Was C hoping to send kc a text to get kc to call her ? If that car had not been towed.....things would be a lot different. The A would have had time to get rid of it......but since Caylee was missing, as they probably figured that the car would eventually have to be accounted for, they were up against another wall.
If i were C my message would have been something like....if you dont get you & Caylee's behind home NOW. I am calling the law. I am afraid that you are both dead.................. Why pussyfoot around?

IMO, if Cindy hadn't "broken ranks" due to her rage over Casey costing them money, the entire Anthony family would have hid Caylee's death from everyone. Just like they attempted to deny that Casey was ever pregnant.
I think that Cindy's mind just had a mental breakdown from the "plan."
What excuse could they give for an absent 2 year old? She is with the nanny?
It might have worked in the beginning, but too many people knew about Caylee...Annie, Brittany, Lauren, Amy, Ricardo, JP, Troy, Tone, Cameron, the crew at Cast Iron Tattoos, Cindy's co-workers, the neighbors, Mark Hawkins, Chris Stutz, Lee's roommate, the Grunds, Mallory................
When Caylee's 3rd birthday or the holidays rolled around, I think there would be a lot of questions by the Grunds and Mallory.

This is the main problem Cindy has. She throws herself in a rage without thinking anything out. This is who she is. Act now and think (maybe) later. Cindy must have thrown Casey out of the house the night Casey grabbed Caylee and left. Cindy feels as guilty as if she's responsible for Caylee's death but it too late. Caylee is dead over all that was said and done on the night of the 15th of June, 2008.
LE would definently want to know moment by moment what was said, what took place and what came down on the night of the 15th when Casey and Caylee left the house.
This has been covered up since the beginning of this ordeal. This is right. This is why they claim the last time they seen Caylee was on the 16th. I do have a feeling the correct date will surface and the fight will come out, too.

I think casey should get the same death that she gave Caylee.. hand cuff her hands behind her back shackle her feet then wrap her face in tape several times throw her in the trunk let her die. then throw her away and let the animals eat her and scatter her bones all over..
The Jada Justice murderers show be beat to death, burn and buried in concrete and put in water just like she was...
Maybe if these baby killers would be put to death the same way they murdered these innocent Babies they would get the message ..Lethal injection is too easy for them.. It's not a deterrent
So true! And you know what really makes me mad? Alot of these convicted criminals come back to court years later arguing that the death penalty is "cruel and unusual" punishment! Give me a break! they're getting off easy compared to their victims.

On August 5, 2008, Cindy said, Casey`s a mom that puts an extra key in her pocket every time she takes her daughter in the car because she`s afraid if she tries to grab too many things and she leaves her purse she doesn't want to lock the car and not have a key that she can get in there and get her purse back out or to take care of her daughter.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0808/05/ng.01.html
Something had to happen to precipitate that action. Either Casey locked her keys in the car with Caylee routinely or she was caught locking Caylee in the car and lied about the keys being locked in there too.

Simple. Caylee's Dad showed up and demanded custody. They could tell people they were fighting it. In most cases it would be hard to hide the absence of a 2 year old. Not so hard in this case.

ITA...Duct taping an infants mouth and nose and cutting off their air supply til they die is not "cruel and unusual" punishment? Abducting and beating and molesting a baby is not "cruel and unusual" punishment. Dropping cold heavy cement over a child's body after you have killed them is NOT "cruel and unusual" punishment?
These felons have their rights. They are people too. They have the constitution to stand behind. They can get away with murder in the most vile, evil way.

That is exactly what Casey had been telling everyone. And, for a month. Casey was already moving on to new friends who wouldn't ask her questions about Caylee. Casey left her home, so she wouldn't have to answer questions about Caylee. Now Casey sits in jail.

JMO
Good morning everyone,
It probably would not have been that hard to excuse Caylee's absence IF THE ANTHONY'S wanted to....If Cindy and George would have realized what happened to Caylee before calling 911, they could have explained her absence for a short time by saying that she was with another family member or what ever, while they made plans to split from everyone around them.....like move far away where no one knew them and cut all ties to anyone that was close to them....
It would have taken some planing but I believe that the Anthony's would have done it to save Casey from what is yet to come....
They could have easily discarded any large remains that could be found in those woods and the rest would have went unnoticed....JMO
There have been many cases where peple have been charged wth murder of a child that took place 50 years or so earlier when another child tells from guilt....
If they would have stayed in that area and around all the people that knew them, it would have been impossible to pull off as Desmom says...there would have been too many people questioning where Caylee was and someone would have called the police eventually.....

A year ago today, Casey had to have been in a little bit of a panic. Tone and his roommate Cameron were preparing for their trips home on June 30 and would not return until July 5. She could not go to her parent's home because Caylee "was with the nanny" and she knew Cindy was not going to buy that story. Casey was about to become homeless.
How did the conversation go between Casey and Tone? Did she ask for a key to his apartment and he said no? What excuse did Tone give her if he did say no?
Lee asked Tone about a break in to his apartment. No date was mentioned. The only thing taken during the break in was $$ from Cameron. Did the break in occur while Tone and Cameron were out of state? Did Casey commit B & E?
jmo
Desmom, you are realy good...as much as I have been following this case from day one, I never realized that...
Was it ever mentioned where she stayed during that time?....If the break in was during that time, I guess we know the answer to that...

Here's a good video interview of Cindy on the M & J show on July 29th. She talks about casey's purse left in her car, (nothing stating it was just a 'work' purse/tote), the inconsistent cadaver dog alerts, Zanny, and a few other things. As usual Cindy winds up being rude and obnoxious and getting Juliet riled up. This is also an interview where she says it will be their (the media's) fault if Caylee isn't found and brought home.
Well worth rewatching almost a year later, and thinking about how she has embellished the stories since that date.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZvEhnzlobA&feature=related
I hadn't seen this in a while. How can Cindy blame the media for not finding Caylee with no blame on Casey?

IIRC, Will Waters worked with Amy at a restaurant. He had the 4th of July party that Amy and Casey attended. Amy and Casey helped him set up the party.

William Waters interview with LE: http://www.docstoc.com/docs/4825199/Casey-Anthony-William-Waters-Interview
It sounds like he met Casey on July 4 when she went with Amy to his house to decorate for a 4th of July party.
On page 2, they had to go to Total Wine (liquor store, I think) to get a bucket for the keg. They would not sell them one because Casey did not have an ID.**
Casey played hostess at the party by making sure everyone was taken care of and cleaned up after the party.
On July 5, Casey was at his door at 9:30 a.m. and they hung out together. Over lunch Casey told Waters she was getting a place with a friend who also has children so the could split the expense of Caylee's nanny. Later Casey called Will on the way to pick up Tone at the airport. She talked to him all the way up the escalator at the airport.
Casey and Will made several dates, but Casey never showed. His only contact with her after 7/05 was by phone or text messages.
**This is the 2nd time a witness reported Casey did not have an ID. Matt Crisp showed Tone an apartment on June 19. Casey was with him and because she did not have an ID with her, he was not able to show the apartment to her. page 6 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/4824071/Casey-Anthony-Matthew-Crisp-interview

Or, Casey had been admonished by Cindy for leaving Caylee unattended in an unlocked car when she was out and about.
I really have gotten the impressions that Casey treated Caylee like more of a possession, and really didn't have those special feelings/bond that a mother has with a child. I don't think that Casey had that fear/emotion that most mothers have in regards to their children.

desmom, that "no id" thing going on with Casey, may have been because her DL was in fact inside her car (which by this time had been towed). However, we know that Casey showed some type of ID when she cashed Amy's checks. And, she has charges against her for "fraudulant use of id" or something like that. ....I'm going to guess that Casey made up her own FAKE ID, after realizing just how tough things were without one. Either that, or she was using someone else's id.

Is the speculation still that the defense is going to try the
"someone else killed Caylee" and is framing Casey?
The reason I ask is my mind started wandering while having a walk this morning ....I live in a rural area and we have dead animals from time to time along the edge of the woods and as I walked I smelled first and saw last a dead raccoon (I think it was) and of course I thought about poor Caylee.
And started to think.....if someone else killed Caylee and wanted to blame it on Casey why would they even take the body out of the trunk.
Why not leave it there.
Why take a chance that someone might see if they dumped it
in the woods where she was found?
Would it not be more convincing if the "remains" were still in the trunk
when the car was towed and the Anthony's got it.
The man from the impound yard was there when the trunk was opened so we know that George or Cindy did not take the remains and hide it.
Although I would not have put it past them to do that had they been alone when they opened the trunk and found her.
I mean why would anyone think someone else put the body in the trunk and then went to the trouble of removing it .....doesn't make any kind of sense to me.....the only person who needed to hide/throw away the
remains is Casey.IMO
That and the 31 days would be enough for guilty verdict IMO.

My take on the comment from Cindy was she's trying to imply someone took casey's car. In other words she's saying it's highly unlikely casey would purposefully walk away and leave her purse behind in the car.

Casey probably had more than one DL. I worked with a lady, (kinda scatter brained), who went to the DMV and told them she had lost her license so she could get a new one. She hadn't really lost her license, just wanted to have 2 so she'd never be without one if she needed it. She carried one in her purse and left one in her car in case she forgot to grab her purse.
Casey had plenty of time on her hands but I doubt she was smart enough to make up her own fake ID.

Lee told the investigator that he saw casey's d.l and another i.d. that was smaller but the police officer standing there suddenly snatched this id out of the wallet. Lee was somewhat shocked about how fast she(LE) jerked that card out of there.
light bulb moment: casey didn't leave her wallet in the car, purse yes but not the wallet because Lee picked it up from AL and Lee,George and Cindy went through it and found the JcPenny and Sears credit card along with approx. $200.00 cash all twenty's that Cindy stashed in her pocket.

(bolded by me) Actually, we don't know this. George made an effort to be sure that the towyard fellow saw for himself that there was no body in the trunk, before George drove away. ...that sort of makes me highly suspicious. If George thought that the smell was of a dead body, then why didn't he immediately call 911? It's too bad that the towyard fellow didn't immediately dial 911.

Good morning everyone, I can not believe it has been over a year since this all started. I had hoped by now the killer would have been punished. I can tell now it will take a long time for this to ever go to trial. I sure am glad casey is in jail and I don;t see anyone elce that could have done this since there is no nanny. I have no idea when they will ever have a trial but I guess as long as casey is in jail everything is ok. I just wish the a;s could be stoped from making money of off little Caylee. I wish the money to them would stop. They need to go back to work. I would have thought g and c would have gotten casey out of jail by now with all the money they or making but I dont think they want her out of jail because they don;t know what she will do next. They think she will mess up again. They may not even want her in their house. I am sure no one in the family wants to deal with her and all the lies she is telling. If jb don;t have any cases but casey;s what is he living on? I know lawyers have to do so many cases a year pro bono but they don;t have to do all of them that way.All the def.lawyers and other people just want their name on tv so they can have more cases in the future.jmho

the only way George knew where the car was in the yard was for the guy to take him to it.
The guy actually took the garbage bag and dumped it's contents in the trash there.
He was there at the trunk.
Yes it smelled of decomp but I do not see any way George could have taken the body out of the trunk there at the yard.....where would he have been able to hide it.

(the notice that was left on the front door of the Anthony home on July 11th, did identify the towyard) I'm not completely convinced that was the very first time that George may have been to the towyard. If it was, then you are right, George probably didn't have the opportunity at that time, to remove anything from the trunk.
It is interesting to note that the towyard fellow did go back and search for that bag, once he saw the news about Caylee. (LE had already retrieved it though).

I remember reading that Baez' daughter went to the same high school as Casey, but I have never seen any proof that they knew one another. I am extremely suspicious of how Casey hooked up with Baez. I think if we knew that, we might know a LOT more about this case. Just call me a "conspiracy theorist." Unfortunately, I have no theory to go with the conspiracy since I haven't seen or read any clues to support one. I do know that criminal attorneys do NOT call potential clients like tort lawyers, aka ambulance chasers, do. The FIRST thing on the mind of a defense attorney is: Does this criminal have the means to pay me? At least enough to warrant my having a face-to-face with him/her? Defense attorneys do NOT work on the if/come. They obtain the $ up front. Remember that Casey was a nobody local criminal when she hooked up with Baez initially, and there was absolutely no way Baez could even dream that this case might go national providing him with a bunch of publicity.Absolutely, these guys want their money up front - because most people who need defense attys are not able to afford them. Youd on't see pro bono attys for the prosecution and the only reason tort lawyers are pro bono is b ecuase they take a HUGE HUNK of any judgments. A old neighbor of mine had to pay $4000 up front on a simple case of allegedly pushing his wife. I can only imagine how much a heavy-duty case like this would cost.l Don't forget Mark Garegos allegedly got a million for defending Scott Peterson and he then had to have the state pay for his experts. You sure don't hear of any well-known defense attorneys jumping in to defend Casey. No Mickey Sherman, no Mark Garegos, no Geoffrey Feiger, no Roy Black, no Gerry Spence.

Excllent point. Someone who wants to FRAME someone would want the body discovered immediently, not 5-6 months later. Again, we go to REASONABLE doubt.
The fact that someone wanted to frame Casey would require a motive - why would someone want to frame her. Money? She had none. Sex? She more than willingly gave that out for free. Revenge? Granted that there could have been someone who wanted to get even with her, it is NOT REASONABLE that someone would kill Caylee to frame Casey adn then go to all the trouble to distance the body from Casey.

Some on here yesterday said that the state of FL pays $ 5000 for indigent defendants to get a lawyer. I know NOTHING about how the FL criminal justice system operates, but most places if you claim to be indigent and need a court appointed attorney to represent you - that's exactly what you get - an attorney appointed by the court from a rotating list maintained by the Judical system, not a choice of your own attorney and then having the taxpayers pick up the tab for his bill. I have seen it reported early on that Casey chose Baez (some said from a recommendation of another person in the lock-up, others said from picking up his card which he left in abundance at the jail to solicit business,) but nobody seems to know where the $ came from to pay him to have an initial meeting in regard to representing her when she was only charged with child abuse or neglect, whatever the charges were on her first arrest. The Anthony's didn't pay his retainer and Casey had no $, so who picked up the tab?
Can you believe that Baez has only been in the courtroom one time since March 25th? That was on May 28th. This case has slowed to a crawl. No depos are being taken. Are we seeing a shift, with Lyon taking the reins? If so, the delay is more than reasonable for her to be able to get up to speed with the case.
The State has asked for the check/fraud charges to be heard this summer. Would this be ruled on by a jury, and if so, then is the venue an issue that would have to be addressed? I have no clue as to how this all works.

They couldn't get her out of jail if they wanted to. There is no bail on Capital Murder.

I think that it is Casey that is more likely to try to "frame" someone. I recall her telling Amy that George had driven her car. I remember Casey telling someone that Jesse still had a key to her car. I also recall Casey saying that lots of people has had access to her Car (referring to the towyard, or the Anthonys, or LE, or CSI, or FBI) since she last parked it at the Amscot. She is going to try to separate herself from that car and the defense is going to try very, very hard to get all evidence from the car to be thrown out (won't work though, IMO).

ITA, and many tow yards have vicious guard dogs, surveillance cameras, barbed wire on top of fences, and other kinds of security. Not only do they have to guard against someone retrieving their own car, but car thiefs in general since they are liable for all the cars in their lot.

Did Casey have fake ID that she carried, and didn't want to be seen rifling through several pieces with different names? Thinking back to the night of July 16 when the female police officer and Cindy were going through Casey's wallet. Was there something suspicious about the ID then?

I did a little reading about the school Tone was attending. IMO, it is an accelerated program. Last year, Tone was probably looking at graduating soon. Tone had said he would return to NY after graduation. Was Casey planning (hoping, praying) Tone would pop the question? Remember this: page 30 http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedFiles/Stories/Local/Anthony%20pgs%202751-2800%20f.pdf
What was her back-up plan or should I say who was her back-up plan? Will? Mark Hawkins?

Hi! :seeya: I've always wondered if any of her friends ever really questioned why she was staying with them and not at home or is it that common for young people to hop around from one friends place to anothers for days at a time?

While looking for the ID thing Lee told LE about, I found this. Lee is telling LE the things he picked up at Tone's.
the laptop, a very large leopard print duffle bag that had all of her clothing and items in there. ..a backpack, a white backpack with kind of a pattern or you know a symbol on that uhm, that also had some more clothing items in there.
Page 7 http://i.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2008/images/08/07/anthony.search.warrant.pdf
He also recalled that Caylee was dressed in a blue jean skirt and a pink top. George recalled that Caylee was wearing a pair of sunglasses. The glasses had white trim. Caylee also had a white backpack that displayed a monkey design.
Was Casey using Caylee's white backpack? :scared:
(snipped for space)

It surely couldn't be the same backpack, could it? Wouldn't LE have caught onto the similarity of the description and wanted to see it? And if it matched, how would anyone explain where Caylee was then (back when Casey said ZFG had her)? :scared:

Good afternoon to all
I have always thought that any 'extra' key that Casey would carry would be kept in her pocket if she had to leave the car running for the A/C and leave the doors locked...in case someone tried to take the vehicle with Caylee still in it.
One thing I thought a bit odd going back over some stuff..
The fact of Casey running out of gas two Fridays' in a row...the last one being at Amscot? I thought Amscot was closer to her parent's place and apparently TonE picked her up around 11:30 am...but she didn't ask him for gas cans and was carrying frozen food? Casey must have known her parents weren't home because that is where she was coming from with the food...otherwise why not try calling George to bring her some gas..or even Lee?
Of course Cindy probably thought that Casey was in Jacksonville...
In the US if a cell phone is being used out of state...does the caller identity show up as long distance? Or maybe has a different long distance ring? Or would you not be able to tell if someone was calling from next door or the next state over?
Thanks to anyone who knows....
Just my opinion of course...

They couldn't get her out of jail if they wanted to. There is no bail on Capital Murder. Oh I am ao sorry I did not know that. I am not very smart and don;t know anything about the law. I am glad tho that she can not get out. I don;t like saying things like that because it makes me feel like I am judgening her but there is no one elce that we have seen that would have a reason to kill Caylee. I will just have to ask for forgiveness for what I think and type. I find it suspicious Mallory posted that on her MYSPACE...comes off like a teaser. Either she is dog sitting for the A's and (they) wanted people to know and wonder what the A's are up to, or maybe she is dog sitting 2 dogs but it's totally unrelated to the A's. Obviously she knows the public is looking at her MS and chuckled knowing 'we' would suspect it was the A's dogs she was referring to, whether this is true or not.
However I do think it's almost a given that we will see/hear from the A's with a July 4th related event, possibly involving the rescue boat.
Not suspicious at all, merely typical Anthy-related behavior. If Mally-Bu didn't want her MySpace viewed, she'd take it private. She hasn't done that. She is just another attention seeker in a huge cast of attention seekers.

We have 3 kids in their 20's, it isn't 'unusual' for a couple of their friends to stay over on a Friday or Saturday...sometimes both depending on what they have planned.
The difference might be that we live in the country, so folks don't tend to just 'drop by' for an hour  I also know the 'kids' that come and I probably have known them and their parents since grade school, anyone 'new' would warrant a face to face handshake introduction...it's actually quite comical at times.

I'm trying to visualize Cindy with the wallet in her hands, and an officer's hand snatching anything out of that wallet. LOL
Would have liked to have seen Cindy's face when that happened! Imagining her stuffing Casey's money into her pocket has always struck me as odd as well. Personally, if I had a child that stole money from me, and I found $200 cash in their possession (assuming I would snoop, which I don't), I would put the money on the table and ask the child to talk with me. We would sort out a repayment plan. I would never hurriedly stuff it in my pocket like a thief.

There's just too much evidence about that car to get it all thrown out. He may get the dogs tossed, but hwo does he get by Cindy ("a nurse of decomposition") and George who made it abundantly clear in his interviews that he knows that smell very well from his being a cop, and LE who also smelled that smell. I also believe they used two SEPARATE dogs who alerted on the car. One dog may get tossed, but two - I don't think so. There's also no evidence of any break-in to that car which supports the tie between Casey and the car . I do NOT believe that Jesse ever had a key to this car. I don't think Cindy and George would have allowed a key to go to anyone. Jesse probably had his own car anyway.

Re K-9 at the Anthony's
Summary of a detective's report about his activities on 7/17: The officer had met with Mr. Burner, the Anthony's neighbor, and collected the shovel. He then went to the Anthony's and searched their backyard. He noted a small depression in the yard and George also thought it looked suspicious. The detective contacted Sgt Allen and learned Sgt Allen was coordinating the response of the cadaver dog and Crime Scene Unit to the property.

At approximately 1900 hours, other units began arriving at the residence to include: Sgt. John Allen, CSI Geraldo Bloise, CSI Mike Vincent, K9 Corp. Mike Carden and two other K9 handlers, Commander Matthew Irwin, Detective Dave Clark and Detective Kevin Kraubetz. The investigation was turned over to the K9 Units and the Crime Scene Investigators. I read somewhere that Cindy did not want Casey to date or even associate with "hispanics" - her word - boy did that ever backfire, huh? Wonder why her rule did not extend to Casey's choice of lawyers? She only got the biggest Hispanic douchebag ever to trill his R's...
That's why no Ricardo, or any other ethnic boys ever went to Casey's house...remember when Tony was begging her to let him come over and she kept putting him off...because she knew AND acknowledged that her parents would kill her...
Sweet Heysoos - she is 22 and she can't even SNEAK out of the house for a tryst? I could slip out my window at night to meet a boyfriend when I was 15 without waking my folks...easy...I'm just sayin'...
Yep KioMarie said that. I don't think she was allowed in the house. I think she said George was okay with her.

Oh I forgot about that. You are so right. What is up with that? Football? Obsessed much? Geez.

I did read Lee's deleted MySpace entries...does anyone else think it is somewhat odd? Again...we have 2 boys 25 and 27, and they are very computer savy and both have social networking connections.
I am trying to imagine either of them posting something so 'personal' for everyone to read...and such public disrespect for a girl that was good enough to date at least. And it almost reads like he is accepting some award and giving acknowledgments to those whom have been a 'part' of it...family by name...friends..saying he is sorry to anyone he left out.
It sounded like a wounded 12 year old boy to me, who might have thought no one would ever know it was him writing that stuff...both Lee and Casey have interesting emotional maturity to me.
Just my opinion of course...

Thanks Shelkobe...
So Cindy was left to believe Casey was wherever she told her she was...when you get your cell bill..does it tell you where the call(s) were made/recieved from?
Say I called you right now...when you get your bill would it show that I am calling from Canada?
Or...If you call my # back in return...would it say a call was made to Canada...or just my phone number?
I hope that makes sense...
It makes sense. I'm on Verizon Wireless so my bill will only show the number, not the location of where a cell call originated. I'm assuming acquiring that information is a little more involved than what a typical phone company wants to do on a phone bill for a customer, but the police can get the information on which towers a cell phone pinged. You could call me from Canada or England but only your cell phone number shows up on the bill.
ETA: That's how Scott Peterson was able to fool his girlfriend Amber Frey into thinking he was in France with friends Francois and... other name escapes me, because only his cell phone number showed up on Amber's bill and phone.

I guess I don't 'get it' 5boxersmom...is it 'common' for a mother to dictate who her daughter can be friends with in her teens and twenties?
We haven't come across that...I have always liked our kid's friends...parents sometimes not so much, but we certainly didn't deny any friendships. After 25 or so years some fell away but most others have been here forever...actually the majority...girls and guys.

Orange County Sheriff's Office
Forensics Section
Report of Crime Scene Investigation
Marker #1: This marker indicates the area where the soil was disturbed. This area was located on the east side of the residence behind the swimming pool. I took measurements of the disturbed soil area. The measurement was 12" in width and 5" in depth.
After photographing marker #1 this investigator, ASL Michael Vincent and Sgt. John Allen decided that the area should be checked by K-9 (cadaver dog). D/S Json Forgery arrived at the residence with his K-9. The K-9 checked the backyard area. After checking the backyard, D/S Forgery informed us that his K-9 paid special interest to the playground area and surrounding area near the play house.
Marker #2: Playground description: Located in the backyard on the north side of the residence. The play ground area consisted of a plastic play house. Underneath the play house there were twenty five pieces of square concrete. The concrete square area was 6' x 6'. This area was marked as area #2. D/S Forgery informed us that he will contact the Deputy from Osceola County K-9 Unit in order to confirm his findings.
The Osceola County Deputy, along with her K-9 Cadaver dog arrived on scene to conduct a second search. After checking the area the Osceola Deputy informed us that her dog had shown interest in three areas in the backyard. The first one was the gruond that was checked by OCSO dog (Marker #2) near the play house. The second one was the portion of the ground located near the screened patio porch located on the south side of the residence. This area was marked as Marker #3. The third area was the portion of the ground located on the east side of the play ground area. This area was marked as Marker #4.

Thanks again Shelboke...yes, now I recall the famous call from France...too funny in the long run. He and Casey would make a good reality television program...behind bars of course
I dig it I guess...I have never thought when one of my friends or family members have called that they might be in a different country, I tend to go with what they tell me.
I understand the cell pings...but that confirmation can't be gotten (except by LE) for some time, so basically if Cindy had no other reason at the time to disbelieve Casey..she thought she was in Jacksonville.
Actually at that rate?
Heck Casey could have gone to PR I guess and if Casey said Jacksonville to her on her phone...Cindy would have believed that as well.
Sooo much available to the criminal minds these days...but the same technology can also put them behind bars ...tricky

No kidding, as I have posted here before as soon as I heard the 31 days without reporting, I knew something was rotten in Denmark.

Hey Desmom! So glad you are here...maybe you can help me clarify something in the docs somewhere...in talking about Casey's (multiple) ID's (isn't the legal drinking age in FL 18 - why does she need a fake ID if not to get into the bars?) -
(I think Cindy references this story in her wild eyed gum smacking Depo...I mean, really, wtf) Remember when Casey stated that she was following behind The Nanny in her car but that she got into a wreck and she was going to the ER to be with Zanny in her time of need? Why did she say that? - it is easy to check and see that there was no such woman, no such accident, no such ER, not on that day, in fact, not EVER? But this was the excuse she gave someone about why she was even following her in the first place!! This is the same person who just weeks before had pushed her down and taken her child to teach her a lesson? GIVE US A BREAK...even if this WAS the Nanny - why in the world wouldn't the Dipstick ask her "WHERE THE HELL IS MY DAUGHTER!!!" Her web is too tangled for me, I guess...
The same question as to why Casey told LE that she had even spoken to Caylee on her cell phone earlier in the day of July 15? But all she said was, "can you put an adult on the phone?" (My head spins like the possessed Linda Blair in the Exorcist - all I need now is to vomit green pea soup!) And then she says that the phone had been cut off - WHAT????????? So, the incoming call from Caylee came from a cell phone that morning - but now that phone is out of service when she tried to call back later the SAME DAY?
--snipped--
I don't remember anything in the doc dumps about LE finding multiple IDs for Casey. I don't consider it odd if she did have a DL and a state issued ID card.
Zanny had a wreck and Caylee called stories...IMO, no one has ever called Casey on her "stories" in the past and I believe she thought LE would buy her stories just like everyone else did. How dare them! :tonguewag:

What if the ID was in ZG name? Isn't she is the one who got a speeding ticket that mysteriously got paid for a ZG one block from where Casey withdrew money - that moments later shows up as payment for court fine? Hope this makes sense...it's hard to keep up with her fantasies...lol
I had my ID from the state of California when I moved out here to Nebraska. I went to the DMV to get my pic taken and my NE drivers license. They insisted I had to give them my California State ID before they would issue me my NE license. I don't understand that cause they have all your new information in the computer when they stop you for something.
They say you can only carry one authorized ID.
I don't think Casey had another name on the ID that LE took from her. What I do think is it may have been her expired ID. We surely would have heard or read it if she was carrying another ID with another name.
Casey pretended to be who she wanted to be without needing another ID. An employee of Universal studios, her mother and Amy.
I'm sure all these acquaintances are really disliking her right now.
I bet after many discussions they are not the least shocked that she killed her baby girl. :glare:

Back in the day, to buy booze in PA you had to carry a PA Liquor Control Board ID. To get a PLCB card, you had to present a US Passport, a birth certificate, *and* a driver's license. Not one of the above - all three of the above. PA is not about to part with their booze easily. Or so they thought.
These days, PA gives you back your old driver's license when you get a new one, but they cut off one corner.

I've never heard of having to pay a fee to do unpaid work.
Well, yeah -- but you can make it all back and more by recruiting other people to become volunteers as per this that I found on their website (I did not correct their misspelled words or other errors):
"As a Member of ESRR/KFN you are asked to help by recuiting new members monthly throughout the United States. This will allow us to continue to grow and obtain new and much needed equipment and supplies for our searches. Every existing member that recruits a new member will receive, as a thank you, a $10, Visa gift card."

My Wife and I are interested in helping out in the area with local Search teams. There have been so many missing children, that we can no longer sit by and do nothing.
I have been to your website and see that you are actively involved with The Grandparents of Caylee Anthony. And we would like to help.
After perusing your website we were about to sign up, when we noticed that you require a $25.00 payment for a "membership".
I guess my first question is why do I have to pay to help find missing people? I don't mind paying my way, but I cannot fathom why we would want to pay your company in order to help your company.
I am a trained Medic and my wife is a a trained Scuba Diver, both fresh and saltwater. We feel that we have a lot to offer any team we decide to join, but your ethics are a little troubling to both of us.
Please let me know the reasoning behind this

THANK YOU for posting this! Re-reading it I am just as appalled as I was the first time I read it.
Has anyone ever seen this type of advertising for volunteers in a missing person case....I haven't. While I can certainly appreciate the need for individuals to help out with these tasks, I would think that most people would have friends or family members willing to fulfill these roles. Also seems like these things could be done by that great organization KFN since they weren't doing much of anything else.
Of course if you are estranged from family, and have no friends.......

What if the ID was in ZG name? Isn't she is the one who got a speeding ticket that mysteriously got paid for a ZG one block from where Casey withdrew money - that moments later shows up as payment for court fine? Hope this makes sense...it's hard to keep up with her fantasies...lol
IMO, when Casey gave LE the ZFG name, LE pulled up every ZG and/or ZFG in the state of FL. This would have included driver's licenses.
IF Casey had a D.L. in ZG or ZFG's name or any combination of ZFG, it would have been easy to spot since the DLs include a picture of the driver.

I was listening to Cindys first phone call to 911 and noticed that when the operator asked her when the car was stolen she said June 30.She had already spoken to someone about having Casey arrested and they said to go home and call from there and that the officer would go to the house.Maybe she had already discussed the car theft then but when the operator asked when it was stolen she did not hesitate. Most people are often not sure the exact day a car is stolen, especially if they have not had it for a while.Cindy did know it was towed from Amscott that day,but why did she pick that day as the day to say it was stolen. She could have picked June 27 when Casey abandonned it at Amscott.I wonder why she picked June30.....My computer is so slow I can't listen to the second call to see if I learn more.It is way too choppy. It is rainy and cloudy outside.

Maybe we're strange?
I do not think it is uncommon for a parent to state a preference. My neice deliberately got engaged to a minority to upset her father. It worked. She was not forbidden but then, Cindy seems more controlling than any mother I have ever run into (and I have met some real doozies.)

Thank you

Great letter. Their real motive (I'm guessing) is to line their pockets. There are many many people who would not HESITATE to help find a missing child, but I know of NONE who would pay for that "privilage."
I have friends who are part of SAR wiwth the local county, one a diver, one an untrained person. Neither had to pay to become part of the organization. ALSO NOTE: they merely have to get themselves to a pre-arranged location and transportation from that point is provided to them by SAR. Isn't that what TES does, also?
Wanted $25 to register with KFN does not prove anything about the volunteer other than they can afford to pay the money. No legitimate organization charges their volunteers to volunteer that I am aware of.

:glare:
It depends on the state. When I left CA, the new state confiscated my CDL. When I returned, CA just punched a hole in my other state's driver's license.

While going over some of the interviews LE took in the beginning of all of this I came across some conflicting things Cindy said/did July 15.
Cindy calls AH to "basically wondering where casey and Caylee are" and briefly explained some of the situation. Cindy sounded very concerned, told AH if she didn't find casey she(casey) would end up in jail. When Cindy picks AH up at mall she tells AH about the smell in the car, car seat was in the car, didn't know how casey was getting around. Cindy says they(G&C) have found out about a lot of things. Cindy is very concerned something bad may have happened to Caylee b/c they hadn't talked to her in a month. Cindy then tells AH that casey is an unfit mother and if it goes on much longer she would sue for custody(duh) Cindy tells AH about busting casey in the lie of saying she was in Jacksonville, when Cindy found the photo of casey wrapped up in the flag.(Cindy had sent Lee out on 7/3 to find casey) Apparently Cindy had confronted casey with the photo when she shoved it in casey's face and said "you're working?)
AH tells LE it was kinda weird(the ride with Cindy to get casey) b/c it sounded like she had sorta reported it but it was like a tentative report-like she was reporting that maybe something was wrong but Cindy had to call to confirm that it was(what?***) Cindy tells AH she wasn't even sure casey had a job.
Next. 7/16 Cindy went to B.S. house to let her know that Caylee was missing and felt that casey was hiding something. B.S. tells LE she observed casey's car sitting with the trunk open and G&C were milling around the area, later on saw LE responding. Cindy told B.S that caseys stuff was missing from her room but none of Caylee's. Cindy said this had been going on all month but never saw any thing of Caylee's being taken. Cindy also told B.S. that during the last month when casey would come home to get more stuff she was also stealing money from them. I can see why cry baby and psycho want to shout out their murdering crazy spawn is such a great mother.:cursing:
Sorry if any of this isn't making sense but I wanted to get some of this out to all you night crew posters. I've been going through documents looking into Cindy's guilt. I don't have to tell you my brain is fried, smoking, burnt, shut down. Keep me posted about the email sent to the latest a***nine criminal adventure by the Milsteads.

Thanx Desmom, that was the site I was at.They also have an extensive timeline and there is one day that I can not confirm. It is July 12...It says that the Anthonys confronted Casey after they had not seen Caylee for some time and convinced her to go to the sheriff's office.I do remember seeing it somewhere else but can not confirm it.That is why I have been reviewing the videos.I think I will have to revisit the cell messages, because if it is true, those Anthonys were worried enough to confront their daughter before Jul15

Why did casey tell LE she hasn't seen Caylee since June 9th, but on the 911 call she stated she hadn't seen her in 31 days.
June 9th to July 15 is 37 days.
Why did Cindy tell the 911 operator she last saw Caylee on (SATURDAY) June 7th. Then at some point Cindy changes the date to June 9th. June 9, 2008 which was a Monday and 4 days after her 50th birthday and the day Cindy returned to work after a week of vacation. How could she confuse that date with Father's Day.
Then there is Shirley Plesea's statement saying casey did not show up with Caylee for a visit, so Cindy didn't go on her planned vacation to her in-laws house. Did Cindy really see Caylee the week of June 2-8?
Then George later states he saw casey and Caylee leaving at 12:50 on June 16th. On the Fox interview where George in wearing a suit (stated he had a J-O-B interview), and is holding a Caylee bear, the interviewer stated George fed Caylee breakfast on the 16th at 1:00. Is this what he is going to testify to under oath, regardless of his previous statement to LE?
And this is just the whys of the d*mn date Caylee was last seen, and the tip of iceberg of whys in this strange case. Poor little Caylee.

Looking at ALL the job duties leave nothing for George or Lee to do but sit on their butts and brag about how they are involved helping the organization.
I agree with a lot of you posters. Charging you $25 buck to boot to "join" the organization for you to work with them free as a volunteer.
I think I'll put an add in the paper tomorrow.

Spots - Don't put your housekeeper ad in the Orlando paper - people will think it is from Cindy. I bet they never got one call from a sane person on their personal asst ads - They are so disgusting.
This is why George can never hold down a job. He just wants to sit on his butt and get paid for it.
Since Cindy leads him around by the nose and orders him around along with screaming and yelling and calling him names, George would probably treat a woman like a she's an Imbecile if she worked for him. That's when he would show Cindy the man he would like to be towards her.:sneaky:

I remember when that ad first came out,I read it and could not believe my eyes. This was quite early in the case and even at this time Cindy thought she was a celebrity and people would flock to be even associated with her and her royal court.I wonder if she got any replies.I guess they felt they did not have to pay anyone, for they did not pay the nanny or anyone else it seems(the PI did not get paid)

Im in PA too but we dont get our corners cut off, we get a hole stamped in the middle. I think the passport, birth certificate and DL were before my time ( I was born in 70). All I show is my DL when I go to the liquor store and my aunt owns a bar and all they ask for is a DL or personal ID with a birthdate on it.

How long did Casey think Cindy would buy the Caylee is with the Nanny stories? She managed to make it through the July 4 holiday. Caylee's birthday was coming up and IMO, Cindy would not tolerate not seeing Caylee on her birthday.
If the car had not been impounded, how long could Casey have carried on the charade?
jmo
Bolding mine....
Probably not too much longer than she lasted. Casey was living on borrowed time those whole 31 days. She's lucky that Cindy didn't get serious about looking for her and Caylee sooner than she did. Why Cindy didn't look for them any sooner, nobody will probably ever know. I think if Casey's car was not towed, then Cindy would have eventually reported the car stolen in order to find Casey. So at most I think that Casey would have had a few more weeks. Who knows how this whole story would have unfolded then.

That would cost them a few bucks in putting gas in that boat. Cindy and George pay for nothing. Of course they expect others to fork over hard earned money to volunteer for the organization. It's okay and expected for them to pull money out.:sneaky:

Casey still did not have a plan of action when she ran out of gas and left the car where she did. She was thinking about numerous things, I bet. She leaving her purse and keys in open sight on the front seat tells me she could have possibly wanted someone to think she and Caylee had been physically taken from that car by someone.

Dunno if anyone has seen this add George and Cindy put out there but it has been the discussion early this evening.
George and Lee wanting a volunteer to do all their dirty work for free and to bite that off, it was going to cost the volunteer to join their organization. Too funny them Anthony's are.

Cindy talked about taking Caylee away from Casey for being a bad mother and neglecting her. Cindy is very scary herself and Caylee obviously would not have had a chance with her grandmother.
I do believe Cindy loved this baby but she no more knew the proper way of taking care of her emotional needs than Casey did.:crying:
I find it hard to believe that Cindy would have ever gone through with taking Caylee away from Casey. As much as she threatened Casey with it, she was always complaining about being stuck with Caylee 24/7. If she would have been awarded guardianship she would have been 100% responsible for Caylee in child care and school and all the things a mother would do in raising her child. I don't believe Cindy wanted that resposibility. In addition she wouldn't have anything to hang over Casey's head to get her to do what she wanted her to do.
She treated Casey like she was a child up to Caylee disappearing.

I sure hope someone clocked in for me - I'd do it for you!!! Anyway...I'm here now....:tonguewag:
It's about time you showed up Casey. I was worried about you cause your mom called and said you stole her car and she found it somewhere near a place, a parking lot ascot or something like that. She said your keys and purse was left on the front seat. She said it smelled like a dam dead body was in it.
Have you seen my check book. I have been looking for it everywhere. Might have misplaced it cause I have been known to sleepwalk.
