I have been reviewing some of last night posts and the debate over
what Casey was thinking/planning and yes we all have our own theories.
And here is another......I do not think Casey thought anything out ....I think all her stories and lies just came out of her mouth and she expanded on them ...I think it was as if she was writing a short story or novel...when something rolled out of her mouth she went on from there.
I don't think she ever thought of how am I going to prove this story or how will I explain what I said I was going to do and didn't ....so on and on she went with what she could think up at the time.
I am not so sure either she was planning to kill her parents ....I think the story about getting the house was just another one of her stories with no thought as to what would happen when she did not get the house.
I think that Casey killed Caylee out of rage , rage either against Cindy or rage that her daughter was stopping her from doing all the things she wanted to do.
The rage may have started way back when she did start looking up chloroform and neck breaking and shovel.....there could be many reasons for Casey to be searching those things but if they can not prove any kind of doping in Caylee or neck breaking I wonder if the subject would even be brought up...guess time will tell.
I think Casey smothered Caylee with the duct tape that covered her mouth and nose...I think the chloroform in the trunk was the result of other things as has been mentioned when chemicals react and even from decomposure ( I think I read).
But saying all that ....I believe that Casey never thought things out,I don't believe she thought one day ahead of time.
What came out of her mouth she went with and expanded on.
She pretty much lived her whole life built around lies and deceit ....pretending to be something she was not or would never ever be.
Cindy and George went along with the lies most of her life because it was easier to do so then to make her accountable.
But as we all know comes a time when "stuff" comes around and bites you on the butt.....such a shame a beautiful young child had to die because of it.

I've heard this too. However, the parties that went, seem to say that they purchased their own tickets. I just wonder if Casey was "trying" to get them to let "her" purchase all their tickets (using Cindy's CC of course), and then wanting her friends to pay her cash to reimburse her? And, they didn't go for it.

In the jail visit didn`t Cindy say she a flat tire and Casey almost burst out laughing saying that happened to me too. I found it odd to be chuckling about a flat tire when her daughter was missing. IMO

He was never happy with his life and that is sad to, We always thing fame and money buys happyness but it seems that is not true.May he rest in peace. The way she said it was a way to relate to Cindy. "See, I have had the same experience as you!" It is a method of manipulation to disharm the other. See, we are the same since we have had similar experiences.

I am pretty sure that the new lawyer will be checking out all statements Casey makes to her. Jose believed her and still clings to believing her. That is why he needs to be superseded by a lawyer who doesn't buy Casey's words. I want a fair trial for Casey so when she is convicted it can not be overturned.

There are other interviews regarding the 2 flat tire also and LE seems very interested in the details even tho this occurred in May.

I believe that I have finally figured out why my patience is running thin in regards to the slow progress that this case seems to be making.

There has only been one Criminal Case court hearing since March 25th. That one was on May 28.

I think the def.team wants to keep putting this trial of until they think everyone has forgotten about it. I will never forget Little Caylee. I will never forget a mother that waited 31 days to tell anyone that her daughter was missing and she would not have told it then had cindy not told it. I believe even today we would not know Caylee was gone if cindy had not pushed casey into telling her. I look at casey now and she shows no feeling for Caylee. I don;t know what casey has for a heart but she sure don;t have a heart. no love for anyone but her self.so sad.jmho

Casey's txtmsg to Amy saying that George had borrowed her car sounds a bit like Casey may have planned to set George up. I wonder if the defense will take statements like this, and try to establish doubt in the Jurys' minds. Kind of like, "George did this, and set Casey up to take the fall for it?"

You are so right Explorer, I do believe that a child can be so spoiled to the point that they can become violent when the word "no" is said to them....Which is why I feel that monsters are created by their parents, the parents that could never say no to their child, the ones who think their child can do no wrong....These parents do not realize the trouble up ahead when this is the way they raise their children.....

One of Casey's friends, name escapes right now, told LE Cindy was mad over the Anything But Clothes party pics and left some nasty message on Casey's myspace/facebook page about "so you were at work that day, huh?" (paraphrasing my words)

IMO, this means Cindy did monitor Casey's myspace and facebook pages. IIRC, Casey posted pics of her at Fusians and other places on her myspace/facebook/photobucket accounts. Why the heck would Cindy believe the Tampa/car wreck/Jacksonville stories when Casey's on line activities proved otherwise?

I've been lurking on this board for quite some time! I haven't posted because it seems that the posters on this board are very informed, very intelligent, and just say it all for me! It would be redundant to post when you've all thought of everything! hehe

I think it's obvious that Casey didn't think out her lies ahead of time because she was much too busy partying and trying to be the Belle of the Ball. She finally had "freedom" from poor sweet little Caylee and she wasn't going to waste a minute thinking about what she did because she was finally "free". I'm sure she thought that everyone would believe her "the nanny kidnapped Caylee" and thought she could move on with her life and finally be free.

I also think she killed Caylee out of rage against Cindy after that fight that last night...but I also think she had been thinking about doing it beforehand (thus the computer searches on neck breaking and chloroform).

Desmom, your daily posts on what happened this date last year are very thought-provoking when we can look back now and see what happened when the world didn't know that this sweet little one was even missing.

When the posters here refer to the OC, in my mind, I call the entire family the OF. I think they're all vile and find it outrageous that nobody in that family is stepping up to defend poor little Caylee. It seems like those who are following this case closely care more about a baby they didn't know than her own family...and that's very, very sad.

I've been lurking on this board for quite some time! I haven't posted because it seems that the posters on this board are very informed, very intelligent, and just say it all for me! It would be redundant to post when you've all thought of everything! hehe

I think it's obvious that Casey didn't think out her lies ahead of time because she was much too busy partying and trying to be the Belle of the Ball. She finally had "freedom" from poor sweet little Caylee and she wasn't going to waste a minute thinking about what she did because she was finally "free". I'm sure she thought that everyone would believe her "the nanny kidnapped Caylee" and thought she could move on with her life and finally be free.

I also think she killed Caylee out of rage against Cindy after that fight that last night...but I also think she had been thinking about doing it beforehand (thus the computer searches on neck breaking and chloroform).

Desmom, your daily posts on what happened this date last year are very thought-provoking when we can look back now and see what happened when the world didn't know that this sweet little one was even missing.

When the posters here refer to the OC, in my mind, I call the entire family the OF. I think they're all vile and find it outrageous that nobody in that family is stepping up to defend poor little Caylee. It seems like those who are following this case closely care more about a baby they didn't know than her own family...and that's very, very sad.

I really don't think they did believe her....I think they wanted to believe her in the worst way..I remember when Casey asked her mom (in a jail house visit) "you don't know my involvement"? and Cindy answered "well, your not telling where Casey's at".....

Those earlier conversations between Casey and Cindy (prior to her released the first time) were very telling.....I believe that Cindy and George BOTH knew that Casey was lying and were afraid to here the truth.....NOW, they are trying to sell the same lies that they didn't believe themselves, to the public.....

I do not believe Casey was into anything illegal to earn a buck because Casey's only expenses was her partying and personal needs. She did not pay room and board. IMO, Cindy paid for Caylee's things or should I say Cindy paid for Caylee's things Casey charged on Cindy's credit cards. How much would it take? A twenty here and a twenty there to keep a little $$ in Casey's pocket?

Casey saw something she shouldn't have seen or ripped someone off that plays hardball? I don't think so. That only happens in movies. Why would someone kidnap a 2 year old to keep the mother quiet? Two almost 3 year olds can be more of a handful than a new born. They don't miss a thing, can be very demanding and temper tantrums..or lordy, the temper tantrums.

I just cannot come up with a scenario that is going to make me understand Casey's side of the story. Can you?

Yes, these CC charges could easily have clued Cindy in that "Casey wasn't where she said that she was." ...oh wait, that is the excuse that Cindy used for why she tracked Casey down on July 15th.

The entire Anthony family have been lying about everything to everyone. It would make me quite satisfied to see them all behind bars. IMO, Cindy needs to learn the lesson that "lying" is a crime.

Don't forget, Casey lifted $400 from Amy. Also someone broke into Tone's apartment and stole $$ from his roommate - date of break in is unknown.

Cindy told Amy and Brittany (or Lauren?), Casey would make a date to meet Cindy and not show. When Cindy returned home, Casey had been in the house and left. IMO, she not only picked up clothes for herself, but probably raided the family's pockets.

And who knows maybe Casey would help herself to a $10 or $20 out of a friend's purse while out partying when the friend was dancing.

thx for links. You just provided us with the link that tells you about that incident. Amy recalls that Cindy told her about Casey lying about being at Universal. That she was at the no clothes party. She said sort of that she (Cindy)found the picures from that party on Casey´s facebook page. And printed them out and confronted Casey with it. And that she was babysitting that night. See page 1058/1059 of your first link you provided us with today. In fact Cindy was stalking Casey via Computer.


In this "conversation" between Amy and Cindy she(Cindy) also states that she thinks that Casey is an unfit mother. There goes the other lie of Cindy (Mother of the year).

I don´t know, after knowing all these things the Anthony family must be the dumbest family in the whole world. And I first thought this was all a clever scam.

I do think caylee was a real smart girl though. For her age. And talented.

Alcohol involved, they probably assumed they spent more than they thought they did. Someone orders a drink, leaves their change sitting on the table or bar and old Sticky Fingers Casey could just help herself as soon as they were distracted.

If Casey stole from her family and her best friend, IMO, she would have no problems picking up a few $$ here and there from a bar customer.

IMO, some of Casey's friends may have noticed since she has not been around how much less $$$ they spend when they are out and about.

I have been reviewing some of last night posts and the debate over
what Casey was thinking/planning and yes we all have our own theories.
And here is another......I do not think Casey thought anything out ....I think all her stories and lies just came out of her mouth and she expanded on them ...I think it was as if she was writing a short story or novel...when something rolled out of her mouth she went on from there.
I don't think she ever thought of how am I going to prove this story or how will I explain what I said I was going to do and didn't ....so on and on she went with what she could think up at the time.
I am not so sure either she was planning to kill her parents ....I think the story about getting the house was just another one of her stories with no thought as to what would happen when she did not get the house.
I think that Casey killed Caylee out of rage , rage either against Cindy or rage that her daughter was stopping her from doing all the things she wanted to do.
The rage may have started way back when she did start looking up chloroform and neck breaking and shovel.....there could be many reasons for Casey to be searching those things but if they can not prove any kind of doping in Caylee or neck breaking I wonder if the subject would even be brought up...guess time will tell.
I think Casey smothered Caylee with the duct tape that covered her mouth and nose...I think the chloroform in the trunk was the result of other things as has been mentioned when chemicals react and even from decomposure ( I think I read).
But saying all that ....I believe that Casey never thought things out,I don't believe she thought one day ahead of time.
What came out of her mouth she went with and expanded on.
She pretty much lived her whole life built around lies and deceit ....pretending to be something she was not or would never ever be.
Cindy and George went along with the lies most of her life because it was easier to do so then to make her accountable.
But as we all know comes a time when "stuff" comes around and bites you on the butt.....such a shame a beautiful young child had to die because of it.


Casey's stories are typical of a pathalogical liar. She always give TOO MUCH informationo - always kjnows the middle names of the players - I don't even know the middle names of my in-laws, yet Casey seems to know everyone's name. One of Casey's friends, name escapes right now, told LE Cindy was mad over the Anything But Clothes party pics and left some nasty message on Casey's myspace/facebook page about "so you were at work that day, huh?" (paraphrasing my words)

IMO, this means Cindy did monitor Casey's myspace and facebook pages. IIRC, Casey posted pics of her at Fusians and other places on her myspace/facebook/photobucket accounts. Why the heck would Cindy believe the Tampa/car wreck/Jacksonville stories when Casey's on line activities proved otherwise?

I automatically thought of the video of Caylee saying that to her great-grandpa. Kids notice and say all sorts of things. IMO, as compensation, Casey became emotionally competitive and developed the win-at-all-cost-me-first persona she has today...in an attempt to develop normally in an abnormal situation, she developed abnormally KWIM...

Lee's interview begins on page 199. On page 225 of his interview:

Lee provided LE with a handwritten piece of paper listing 22 receipts. The night Lee found them in Casey's wallet he did not make an itemized list of the receipts. According to Lee, he gave JB the receipts after he had offered them to OCSO. JB allowed Lee to come to his office on 7/28 and review the receipts. If you notice the JC Penney receipt for her purchase on 6/27 is not on the list. JB may have with held some of the receipts, or there never was a receipt. jmo

I've been lurking on this board for quite some time! I haven't posted because it seems that the posters on this board are very informed, very intelligent, and just say it all for me! It would be redundant to post when you've all thought of everything! hehe

I think it's obvious that Casey didn't think out her lies ahead of time because she was much too busy partying and trying to be the Belle of the Ball. She finally had "freedom" from poor sweet little Caylee and she wasn't going to waste a minute thinking about what she did because she was finally "free". I'm sure she thought that everyone would believe her "the nanny kidnapped Caylee" and thought she could move on with her life and finally be free.

I also think she killed Caylee out of rage against Cindy after that fight that last night...but I also think she had been thinking about doing it beforehand (thus the computer searches on neck breaking and chloroform).

Desmom, your daily posts on what happened this date last year are very thought-provoking when we can look back now and see what happened when the world didn't know that this sweet little one was even missing.

When the posters here refer to the OC, in my mind, I call the entire family the OF. I think they're all vile and find it outrageous that nobody in that family is stepping up to defend poor little Caylee. It seems like those who are following this case closely care more about a baby they didn't know than her own family...and that's very, very sad.

You know what.. along these same lines.....if Casey was so comfortable with "Zanny", she must have know her pretty well. If that is the case, why is it that LE can not find ANY trace of the REAL Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez? Because there isnt one! That would be the only explaination.

She writes *of the moment* case true crime. She wrote about Michael Peterson (which was the best book on that crime)...and trust me, she had no interest in Michael or his family or their wishes.

I think she means her publisher asked her to write it and she agreed. She writes what her publisher wants/she's interested in.

I've had conversations with her (about Peterson) and she's dedicated to the true. Whatever that is, but the profits are for her and her publisher.

We alternate getting up with my son. When I get up with him, we go for a donut and a ride in the car, so the house is quiet and she can sleep in. When she gets up with him, I tend to get up even earlier and go for a bike ride or a run.

I suspect that all the Anthonys knew that Caylee was dead, quite a while before Cindy made those 911 calls. In that bunch, Cindy was the weakest link, and the money/car issues along with the stench in the car most likely made her lose control. Cindy blurted out to the 911 operator, what they had all been trying to just ignore/hide.

Remember, the entire Anthony family denied/ignored that Casey was even pregnant. Took Casey with them when they flew up to the wedding in the Carolinas.

I agree, I've always felt that CinA 911 calls show the real truth: That Caylee, was not the number one priority, to anyone.
Money was, revenge against her daughter was, and no mention of Caylee until that 3rd call...
I've always believed that up until that night, this was staged. Someone had to alert the authorities that Caylee was gone.
And this "story" is what the Anthony's all came up with. Problem is, they couldn't even get their dates right, and they all four lied about that date.

I believe that Cindy would have stuck to the 9th story and gotten everyone else to stick to it had her mother not pointed out about the video and the visit ... when she couldn't deny the 15th she tried to say George saw them on the 16th ...

I think Cindy was in CYA mode from the time they picked up the car and wanted to distract everyone from the "fight" on the 15th ... must have been big and some pretty damning stuff must have been said ...
Of course, then the 31 days wouldn't fit, but Cindy would have said KC "mis"counted ...

It means to me that she knew damn well something bad happened after that fight, it was the last time she saw Caylee and that giving the wrong date was deliberate ... she's a nurse who probably writes or types the date many times throughout the course of her shift so there's no way she got the date wrong!

At that point, Casey started spending more time at Ricardo's place with Caylee. A lot more time, if you get my drift.

I think that this date really marks the beginning of her running away from Cindy and George. She and Caylee were gone for the better part of that week, although she returned Caylee to Cindy for the Father's Day trip.

This falls in with Lee's "Was this like the last time?" as well as every family member naming this weekend as the date Caylee went "missing."

That is what I found so very odd, how they could have possibly forgotten the date they last saw Caylee......It was a holiday and they all visited the grandfather in the nursing home....

I'm a little up in age :wink: and I do tend to forget dates, but the one way I can always come up with the proper date is to relate something else that I was doing at the time....it works great for me....

I have had to look back 2 years for a certain date and I remembered that on the particular date that I was at a fair the day before it happened, I looked for the pictures that I took on that date and I was able to know that the date I was looking for was the next day....

I think that if I was counting the days that I hadn't seen my grandchild, I would have known the exact date....especially when there was a fight the night that Cindy returned from visiting her father on father's day......HOW could that have been mistaken?.....

At the same hearing, lawyers will ask the judge to force Casey's father, mother and brother to answer tough questions in the civil case depositions.

In April, when George, Cindy and Lee were deposed, they refused to answer questions they said would affect Casey's criminal cases.

The hearing on these matters is set for September 9th at 3:15PM.

I read in passing somewhere that the Amscot parking lot had a surveillance camera and that there were surveillance tapes which show Casey circling several times before abandoning her car. That a check cashing place has surveillance cameras in the parking lot to detect someone getting ready to commit a robbery - maybe getting a gun out of the car trunk or pulling on a ski mask - seems quite reasonable to me. Unfortunately, I have not heard that those Amscot tapes have been released yet. It is possible they may be at some FBI lab undergoing digital enhancement particularly of the carseat and trunk areas.

Casey obviously was not connecting the dots when LE asked her the preliminary questions about herself. Like where she lives, where she worked and where she shops etc. She probably thought they were just making small talk never thinking they were conducting and Investigation and she was their person of interest. That's why she casually lied thru her teeth and thought they would just write it down somewhere and be done with it.
THEN they said Okay, take us to your work and she probably thought OH boy, why are they wanting me to do this.
Then her lies began to snow ball until she had filled their file with nothing but lie after lie. It must have been very frustrating for them when they couldn't get a straight truth, (not one) out of her.
I seriously think Casey thought these people would go along with her false statements. She most likely figured her family and friends did so they would. After all, she's so KUTE.:wub::laugh:

It is thought that the boyfriend tried to bury her, but not before trying to burn her body. As a fellow Hoosier, you know that in Indiana, the heat index measuring humidity is always in the 90% and higher range. The day before she was found was also the hottest day in Indiana so far this summer, with tomorrow predicted to be even hotter. I read the coroner could not report a manner of death because they were having to wait on forensic testing - and that the attempt to burn her body plus the heat and humidity in the steamy mid-west climate further deteriorated her decomposition, which made this finding impossible.

The kid and a few others took her body out into the country and dumped her rather than call 911. Why, no one knows. He is now charged with committing an indignity to a body. I don't know what is going to happen to that kid now. My mouth is still hanging open as I type this. :ohmy:

This is just my opinion but I do think Casey will not go for any plea bargain and I'm sure none will be offered. As much as they want to know what happened to Caylee I don't think we will ever have a real answer. At least from Casey Anthony. I also think she has the thought that as long as she keeps her mouth shut she will not be convicted. Everything that will be presented to the jury will have reasonable doubt written all over it. (Legally)
I think Casey will be totally surprised when she is convicted of first degree murder. Casey appears to think she can not be touched. Same scenario as Drew Peterson case. He thinks he's gonna walk but for different reasons.
Altho we see the writing on the walls completely I am interested just how the Defense will present this case to the jury. They could approach this numerous ways.

Casey comes across very quiet to all of us but I bet she has a way about her with Baez as far as saying something to him and making him think it's his Idea. She is very convincing to the unknown. Baez sees Casey totally different then the rest of the world sees her. First of all, he's a street man (if you ask me) He could get lost in her eyes in a hot minute. This is what I see when I watch them both exchanging looks and conversation.
Casey will never allow Baez to use "Insanity" in my opinion either. She believes she's as sane as the next person. And she's too in love with herself.

Let's Hope the State can prove to us all that Casey last had her. I need for them to tie this all up. Then after it's all said and done, I hope the Anthony's face charges of their own. If they get a conviction, I hope they prosecute to the fullest.

Three written statements, all using the date of the 9th. Yes, that is what I feel they came up with. And it quickly, fell apart. I'm sure there is so much more to come. And you know what, Casey can stop this, right now. She can stop this, the ball is in her court. There is a part of me that hopes that before any trial takes place she finally gets it and takes a plea deal and let's this child rest in peace. Because her family never will, not that they deserve to.

Last week I was watching some old video on the case, and came across the one that showed the extensive "things" that caylee was surrounded with. All material items. Bins and Bins and Bins full of stuff. Too much stuff. And what it said to me was a child that was placated with "stuff" instead of LOVE and I mean from all in her family. It still makes me so sad, when I think of her playing, always alone for the most part in her little playhouse, or amongst all her "stuff". No peers, no friends her age, no playmates. Just the daily insanity of the family. Poor Caylee.
I wonder if Casey A is really truly feeling the reality of her fate yet, or if she is still trying to play hard ball in a league that's way over her head.

I'm not sure if Cindy or George will face any charges when this is all said and done, but i do believe strongly that somewhere down the road Cindy will be held in contempt. She can't keep her mouth closed for very long. Altho she behaved herself in front of strickland last week, she was being kind that day. Wait til the prosecutors get her up for hours on that hot seat.:scared:
Casey was the mother of Caylee from birth up until she murdered Caylee. Other than that she didn't put a penny out for anything in support. I noticed the same thing you did. Caylee didn't want for anything in material things. There was absolutely no emotional bond there with both Casey, Cindy, George(no matter what he says) or Lee. I think she was ignored and none of them paid attention to any of her emotional needs. Caylee was on her own. The only time she got any attention was probably when she acted out. Most children don't care how they receive attention whether it be positive or negative. As long as they get attention. Caylee most likely reacted to negative responses. Bless that child.

The interesting this is that we have yet to hear what this "lesson" is that Casey was being taught. What did she do? Why did she need a lesson?
