Okay... we know that there is a rumor that Cindy choked Casey. Then there is the Blanchard Park story where Zanny knocked Casey down and took Caylee to teach Casey a lesson.
Both stories sound similar..

The interesting this is that we have yet to hear what this "lesson" is that Casey was being taught. What did she do? Why did she need a lesson?
Good catch peas...Casey was thinking of herself again when she made that statement. Since there was no Zanny the Nanny, Casey was thinking from 2 years experience with her daughter. ZERO, nothing but Zero attention, support and mother nature never kicked in. Casey has no conscience nor does she have an ounce of emotion for her baby daughter. Obviously she feels subconsciously she should have been punished for the way she "was not" with Caylee. That's if she even has a "sub" conscience.

Maybe Zanny and her sister and their kid were really CA, GA, and LA...
lol, I think I may need to go to bed...

Thinking back to Lee's deposition in the civil case and his description of what happened in Blanchard Park... he says that Zanny took Casey's arm and told her about this "lesson". Casey apparently zoned out, saying it was surreal, or something... and meanwhile, Zanny's sister took Caylee into their car, and off they went. Such a bizarre story...

Casey originally said she dropped Caylee off at Sawgrass Apts "between 9 and 1". I personally think she overheard George giving his statement to LE (Lee said they could all hear each other giving their statements, which is why they all said Caylee was missing since June 9 because that is what Cindy said in her statement)... anyway... I think Casey overheard George say "10 to 1" (meaning 12:50), and Casey went with 9 to 1.
But did we ever hear a time that the Blanchard Park story was supposed to occur?

Well, since it's just us, I am giving you a link to a YouTube video that has absolutley NOTHING to do with the Anthony case...lol....my friend and I got surprised while eating at McDonald's the other day, and us two old lades came home and made this video - my daughter put it on Youtube....without telling me...how funny is that? Anyway - fair warning - O/T of the case....

Remember, we're old....lol
LOL! A welcome relief from the seriousness of this case.

Morning comes early around here. Night all!
I can imagine some big fights between Cindy and Casey over Casey wanting to take a vacation and go to PR.
I have been curious about why Casey didn't go to PR, too. She wanted to. It would be second nature to her to just put the cost of the tickets--heck, all the costs pertaining to the trip---on her mom's cc. It never seemed to bother her before about robbing her parents to meet her expenses.
It's not even like she had to worry about who would be watching Caylee @ that point. Caylee was dead. She could have continued to tell her friends that her mom had Caylee, and continued to tell her family that Caylee was w/the nanny, which is what she was doing all that month, anyway. (Hope Baez isn't reading here, but maybe Casey's not going to PR was because she was "in mourning?")

Hiya Amy...
I think I can answer that. The reason that Casey didn't go to PR was she was gathering resources for her plan b, which I think, but haven't verified, was her heading out to California to be with Cpl. Hawkins in the Marines. She needed to steal money, she needed to purchase clothes, maybe even going so far as changing her identity.
Remember she'd worn out her welcome with TL - she could sense it. Once she stole the checks from Amy, she was committed to getting out of there. She'd been in contact with the Marine, telling him she had something to tell him, and she didn't know how he was going to react. She might have told him that Caylee had died, or had given her up for adoption, or some foolish thing. But it wouldn't be the same story that she told anyone else. That's the important thing to remember. As long as two common sides didn't have the same story (Hawkins being one side, and Mom and dad being the other for example), she could make up two stories. She could tell her mom and dad she'd left to CA with Caylee. She could tell the Marine she'd given her up for adoption, or whatever.
So I think the reason she didn't go was she tying up some loose ends before she split for CA. IMO
I thought I read somewhere that Casey paid for the tickets on Cindy`s credit card and they paid her back {i may have dreamed it } :w00t: IMO
If you dreamed it, so did I. She paid for Amy's and was it Jesse? on her mom's credit card. (and I'd betcha their money to repay would have gone straight in to Casey's pocket.) I didn't remember they had already paid her back, but guess they could have. Heck, once they paid Cindy back, in cash, given to Casey to give to CIndy, that money could have been used to purchase Casey's ticket.

At least when Casey returned and it all came out she could have made up an elaborate story how she traveled all the way to PR to look for Caylee. Her friends just happened to be going to PR when Zanny the Nanny said she was going to take Caylee to PR and keep her.
It would have been better than looking for Caylee and "clues" at some bar full of party people.
It amazes me that she told her mother, Caylee had been gone for 31 days. That statement was the truth.

she didn't plan it very well. She's pretty dense actually.. She thought she was going to get away with this... I actually believe that to be true. She had 31 days to concoct like what you say a very elaborate story, but she didn't.
Not too smart.

Seems to me the only thing Casey was concerned about was her circle of friends. Instead of worrying about a story that would stick 1/2 way she was thinking she had to act as normal as possible with her buddies.
This tells me she really didn't think beyond Cindy and George. She was never called out on any of her lies by the two of them so she figured whatever she said was as good as it had always been.
The girl is a nut job. She even went as far as taking LE to Universal studios, inside the building, down the hall before she stopped.Just kidding. She thought everyone else would react to her like mom and dad and everyone else for years. They did not question her. Yep, not smart at all!

I agree about her caring only and mostly about her friends. That was the most important thing to her, and how her friends perceived her. She wanted her friends to think she was important, had a good job, had a nanny, and she was paying her big bucks. Her friends knew better though, at least for the most part.
Nut job is a good description. I actually wonder if she knows right from wrong.

Not that I noticed but.... Casey was associating with a lot of kids with some class and they all had jobs and lived on their own. Pretty good jobs. Way out of her league, I'm sure. In fact, she must have assumed Amy had a bulge in her checking account or she may not have bothered ripping her off.
I noticed in some of the pics on different nights that bar table was full of some very expensive drinks. Paying for yourself and a few (show off) rounds for the friends would set one back a couple hundred dollars in a night and that's not counting occasional appetizers.
Casey wanted to fit in so bad. She obviously didn't have the attention and up bringing that these kids had. Heck, do you really think they would want to hang out with some girl at her age who didn't even graduate from high school let alone have a job. It was enough that they were kind to her knowing she had a baby. That should have raised a few eye brows. But then again the baby's daddy got killed in an accident. That would warrant some kind of empathy.
She was one walking liar face and they accepted it hook, line and sinker.
The trial will be interesting indeed. We will find out a lot of stories and lies she told in passing. Lies she won't even remember.
George and Cindy will sit up there and make complete fools out of themselves trying to defend Casey.

Lies she won't even remember telling. I'm sure of it. She has no chance in the courtroom. None. Zero. I'm not even sure the state has released all of it's discovery yet. I'm sure they have something that is going to tie her DIRECTLY TO the crime scene. If anyone thinks we know it all now as far as what they have, they better think again.

ITA DT - In the jailhouse video, remember "don't talk to Jesse, I don't trust him?" - even though she was talking to him, and going there to take a shower, etc... This is how she kept all her plates in the air... In the same visit, Cindy mentioned Tara (the Marine's ex-wife) and her response was along the lines of "that psycho b*tch" - clearly bent...she is also the girl who Lee got pregnant and had an abortion without his knowledge...on her MySpace she did tell Hawkins she had something to tell him, knowing her, she would not have to nexessarily see him in person to convey anything...and yet she is trying to get to CA to see him with some "news"? Sounds like you're onto something to me...
Also, wasn't the guy who seemed to randomly show up at the jail - remember Casey didn't even KNOW this guy until finally he goes, "I'm Cpl. Hawkins friend" - and then the light bulb came on over Casey's head...This is before she had even seen her PARENTS - and how did he get his name on the visitor list any way?
I didn't know about Lee getting some girl pregnant. I do remember the Hawkins thing.... that was probably going to be her "I gave Caylee up for adoption" story, or "Caylee passed away suddenly, or Caylee is living with grandma" story... It would be a lie. It had to be a lie.. She couldn't tell the truth and say she murdered Caylee.
There are times that she has let her guard down, and said incriminating statements. You can't twist those things up.
"You don't know what my involvement is in all of this ?"
"I've been lying to everyone for 31 days."
the list goes on and on.

I believe you are correct. IIRC, I read a link (I think) on the state not turning over discovery to Baez. He's bitching about it cause he wants to know what they have on her. That would be EVERYTHING. I hope I'm not mixing this link up with the Coleman case. I don't think I am. If I remember Baez is still standing around with his pants down. I don't think he has a clue how he's going to defend Casey or where he's going.
Heck he has almost another year to get his act together. Then he has LKB in the front, too. Then we have AL with the death penalty issue.
Looks like these high power defenders know where their place is, Baez doesn't have a clue. He's such a bonehead.

BONEHEAD.. I love it. He's the waterboy. I will give him credit for assembling a team of experts though. But that's all. He was still talking to the judge when the judge had already left the bench!!! What a joker!
I haven't seen that link about him wanting the goods as yet, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised. I believe that it has to do with the tool cutting forensic expert that will testify. That's my jab at it. He will show and prove that something at the crime scene, and something at the house match. 100%.
ETA - AS IF WE NEED THAT ANYWAY.
And then it's over and out.

She didn't have friends - she had acquaintances. When you're this delusional, you can't see the obvious - it really is all about perception - it's what you think they want you to be, not who you really are.
Poor Amy thought she had a real friend. The texting that went on between them and the kindness they shared. Of course Casey was a big Phony but I believe Amy was a real friend to Casey. She was ready to do just about anything for Casey.
You are right about that, ndy. Casey behaved the way they behaved with one another. A robot in a lot of ways. She had to follow their lead. She certainly could not have done it on her own with the family she has.

Everyone has always said that Casey is Zanny. I think Cindy was Zanny, and Cindy was teaching her a lesson...
I had read some posts last year somewhere that suggested Zenaida was the spanish for Cynthia.Z is pronounced like a soft c and d is pronounced like a th,therefore "Cenaitha"...sounds a lot like Cynthia.
Anything goes in this case.
