I totally agree that Casey will never see daylight again....But I believe it will depend on the hung jury (if there is one) as to how the odds fall....If by some slim chance the odds are more then 1-11 and ends up being 5/7 or even 4/8...that can cause the state to reduce the murder one charge to a lesser one to insure a conviction on the second go round.....Of course I do not believe that would happen....but the prosecution has to be prepared just in the event.....I do believe that the state can reduce the charges depending on the way the hung jury comes in....
My personal thoughts are that the jury will be out for about 20 minutes and be unanimous with a guilty verdict.....
:lol::lol:
I think you may be right!!!! But 20 minutes may be a little long!

I'm with you, and I believe they could put 100 impartial people who never heard about this story on her jury and after hearing about her and the evidence, they would come back unanimous.

The day will forever go down in history when Cindy takes the stand at Casey's murder trial. How in heck is she ever going to remember all the lies and inconsistencies? Will they arrest her on perjury? She said herself that "lying is not a criminal offense", but under oath wouldn't that mean a bit more.
I so agree, Cynthia! I can see her little computer mind blanking out and then all these nuts and bolts and coils sproinging from her brain and a TILT! sign flashing above her head. There is no way she can correctly remember all her moo poo.

Hi :seeya:
Yep me too. I couldn't believe it.
Also there was never a sketch released of ZG. They could have done it through their lawyers wonder why they didn't?
jmo
Hey there!
Nope, no sketch. I thought at the time it was because the A's (and LE, of course) knew very well their daughter was lying, and they would open up a whole new can of worms putting out a composite sketch, only to have tips start coming in implicating innocent people who might resemble the sketch of the fictitious nanny. Even the A's were too bright for that maneuver, at least at that time.
Another thing that bugged me about those early C&G appearances was Cindy trying to make everyone who wasn't out beating the bushes looking for Caylee feel guilty ... yet she didn't give any solid starting point for where we should look. "Just get out there" doesn't quite cut it. Here she was, unwilling even to nail her odious daughter to the wall for more information about where the search for Caylee should begin, but she thought nothing of getting on national TV to browbeat the media and the public for not doing enough to help. She really infuriated me, right from the start.

What got to me was when Cindy said to Casey in the background while she was on the phone with 911 "what have you done?"...I think that said it all for what Cindy was thinking.....
After everything we've read about this psycho pathic family that comment of "what have you done?" seems even darker now...her first instinct was to lash out at Casey, that statement was full of anger and suspicion...Cindy didn't physically reach out to comfort Casey, no verbal communication of pity, fear, concern or emotional support for a mother who (if this mother was normal and loved her child) would be so frantic with not knowing where her child was, even Lee's behavior is quite strange (as if we should be surprised) and I still haven't seen anything about George's behavior and interaction with Casey when he first got home. Curious as to why Cindy didn't find this situation tragic or urgent enough to contact George sooner or since he was "working" (and I use that word loosely) and unable to be reached by cellphone contact his employer and explain they had a family emergency?
It would be interesting to go back over everything, I suspect there are more clues there

And then Cindy had the nerve to say recently that anyone with a missing loved one should not turn down any help...yet didn't she turn down Tim Miller because he was searching for a deceased Caylee....ANYONE who has a loved one missing would want closure, no matter what....not knowing is the very worst...Look at what Jennifer Kessie's parents are going thru...I bet they would rather know that their daughter is deceased rather then to think that she is alive being tortured somewhere....I know I would want to know....
The only reason Cindy didn't want Tim Miller around was because the Anthony's didn't want the body to be found, thy knew what that meant as far as Casey is concerned....

Dead on, imo.
Not only is the trend he discusses devastating our country and society, but imo, there will be a spiritual price to pay one day. I can't fathom there won't be. As human beings, we can't just keep doing this to the smallest and most vulnerable among us and not self-destruct.

Baez got permission to take his laptop into the atty-client room with him I have no doubt he is allowing her to use it. How else could she view. That is not normally the case because he had to get permission from the Judge for that. How did Casey see the "memorial service" for Caylee when she is in her cell 23 hours a day? She has to fit her legal training, showers, etc into that one hour a day and all the other prisoners have to be in their cells, yet somehow she manged to view the memorial service.
I think there is a lot going on that is preferential treatment - her atty hugging her at least twice is preferential treatment in my opinion. Neither her atty or Casey have any respect for rules.
Wow my son almost burnt the kitchen down anyway from what I understand she was called out of her cell because they were going to tell her a body was found, she was standing in the hallway when she saw it on t.v. I don't find it so strange that an attorney brought a laptop in the conference room, when I was working for the defense we often would bring our laptops without the judges permission, because we had all our notes and things for the client to read over and make sure it was right. Wouldn't they have to have internet access. The room I use to go into had no signal, but that was before all this high tech stuff.

I'm waaaay behind here, and just started reading pg 1. I should prob read further before asking this, but if I wait I'll forget. sry
Reading the speculation that Casey might have been fathered by Geo's brother. Wow. Reminds me of that old hillbilly song - I'm My Own Grandpa.
Anyway - it brings to mind a question I've had for some time. Is it just me, or do y'all find it peculiar that none of the family's former friends, relatives, etc., have been interviewed by the media or have posted anywhere (or maybe they have and I don't know it)? If it were one of my daughters accused of a heinous crime, everyone would know everything about my past by now.
I'm just surprised that very little of this family's past has come to light. Do you think maybe this means their dirty little secrets are known by the DA and they've been asked to keep quiet until they testify at trial perhaps?
I've been craving info about family history. But then, I'm very nosey. And I'm in and out of here a lot... not enough time to keep up the way I'd like.
Very insightful post. I have felt, for some time now, that Casey might be blackmailing the Ants with the family secrets and is now getting ready to throw them under the bus. Of course, WHAT those secrets are, and if they exist, is speculation but I believe there is at least one huge, very taboo, secret that exists. A secret forbidden enough for the Ants to throw their dead grandbaby under the bus and protect their psychopathic nutcase of a daughter instead.
WHY is the father of Caylee "hush" "hush". It is so quiet it hasn't even been leaked through the rumor mill and a paternity test has been done. People DO know who it is. LE knows, the Ants know, Casey knows. I don't, for a minute, believe it was an old boyfriend who is now deceased.
Cindy and George absolutely knew, when retrieving that smelly car, that it was the smell of death. BOTH jumped to the conclusion that it was Caylee. George prayed that it wouldn't be his Caylee and Cindy slipped admitted it on the 911 call. The fact that they didn't immediately call 911 but went back to work instead (who the he!! could do that??) suggests that they were mulling over something. Calling 911 was sure to begin an investigation - not only into missing Caylee but would surely uncover many things about their family that were meant to remain hidden forever. This is all JMO.

In the Higbee case the civil suit with the girls family was settled. The case with the other car was put on the inactive list until after the criminal trial. The case gets filed so the statute of limitations is not violated and then a motion is made to put it on the inactive list. You can still negotiate a settlement when the case is on the inactive list. Most times a plaintiff doesn't care if the criminal case goes first, because if they are found guilty then the liabiltiy portion of the case is proven.
JMO
They can't use any testimony in the civil trial correct?

My bolding. Entirely possible, imo. Cindy seems just as capable as Casey of saying whatever she needs to say in the moment to get her way ... without regard to consequences.
ITA.
Cindy and casey are both impulsive. They just behave, and run their mouths without giving any consideration to the consequences of their words or behavior.
After everything that was said in the media and on message boards after the first few times Cindy spoke out, you would think she would have gotten a clue and at least toned and quieted down somewhat. Apparently her narcissism has her convinced she has done no wrong so she keeps on keeping on.

Hi Nothingnew:
This has been known to happen on other Message Boards here as well, so, its always a good thing to add JMO or IMO to your post, if you aren't sure of the complete accuracy and there is no link....
Most times we don't find out until after the trial just what was or wasn't true.
Then, there are the insiders who claim to know what it going on, and that you just have to decide for yourself....!!
This case has a real advantage of some truth coming out on almost a daily basis, because of the way the laws in Florida work...
And,I think we are very lucky to know all that we do, at this point, and although it is fun to speculate or gossip about who the father of Caylee may be, I suppose it could be harmful or hurtful.
But, on the other hand, I don't see any malicious gossip being spread as I have in other cases which had less known facts to deal with.
I think it is only human nature to speculate on who the father may be, when one is not known or listed on the birth certificate.
JMO
IMO
and all that !!
Kat
Oh we are very "spoiled" with the Sunshine law, could you imagine how much we would have to speculate if we had to wait another year for the trial with no doc dumps? The gossip I was talking about was from last night when someone posted that it was "well documented" that cindy had an affair with her brother in law. I think if someone states that it's a proven fact then there would be a link and I would definitely remember that. IMO Caylee's birth dad was the guy married to "Tara", I think his name is Mark, there's so many it's hard to keeptrack.

I don't take that quote to mean anything. I think Cindy was simply responding to Casey's own wording of "Give me one more day." "I already gave you thirty days," to me, refers to the fact that while Cindy might have been missing Caylee and bugging Casey to bring her by, she bided her time, gave Casey numerous chances to make an appearance on her own, and didn't take it upon herself to actually track Casey down until a month later. Semantics, nothing more.
As always, my own opinion.
I think we've discovered by now that everyone associated with this bag of fleas and their actions/statements cannot be trusted. Again, I think comments like this shouldn't be taken at face value. At the time IMO, Cindy made that comment she knew a great deal more about all of this then she has acknowledged. I just don't think these comments can be explained away as semantics.

The odor in the car surely scared both C&G half to death. I think what they did during the next few hours was try to link up in their minds what they knew and suspected about Casey with the odor in the car, combined with going into their automatic reflex cover up mode.

I think Cindy thought that by blaming the disappearance of Caylee on a PuertoRican nanny that everyone would think the nanny took her to PR and that would be the end of it because this sort of thing has happened before.Casey spoiled the story by lying about her job and other things and LE had to look into it more deeply.
Just like Susan Smith blamed it on a black man, thankfully L.E. is smarter than that.

My bolding ...
I disagree with your statement as it pertains to the Caylee threads. I've seen a rumor or bit of misinformation "take off" here ... for perhaps one page in a thread before it is debunked. But that's the extent of it.
There are many more people in this forum interested in facts and links than there are people who enjoy spreading rumor and innuendo.
And I'm not even adding "imo" because this is a fact, Jack.
Being my contrary self I'll agree with you-lol! Up to the getting debunked part and here is why-Not everyone can keep up everyday and this "misinformation" then gets another couple of pages on a different day because one person says it and some others won't question it and it becomes a fact for the day. IE-last night with the "cindy affair". It popped up again this morning and no one debunked anything or provided a link. IMO if Desmom doesn't have a link to it then it didn't happen. (for the record desmom was not involved but she's the one that's always on top of everything). Just like whatever happened to "Peter"? Just trying to nip it in the bud!

ITA. I don't think Cindy was positive Caylee was dead right away. I don't think she would've said anything to anyone at work about the smell if she was sure the baby was gone. I think being suspicious and concerned does not equal being sure, or knowing for sure.
The odor in the car surely scared both C&G half to death. I think what they did during the next few hours was try to link up in their minds what they knew and suspected about Casey with the odor in the car, combined with going into their automatic reflex cover up mode.
Yah, I truly believe that they didn't realize it until Casey was released the first time from jail...when Cindy went on TV and said that she felt "at ease now" after speaking to Casey.....At that point I believe that she knew, but not before....
No, she would not have told her co-workers about it had she believed that Caylee was deceased....Which leads me to beleve that had they known, they would have went to greater lenghts to cover up the murder....but of course they would have had to dispose of Caylee's remains to make sure they were never found and then they probably would have told everyone some lie like Caylee's faher was found and took Caylee or something of that nature.....

But Cindy knew she had to call 911 at some time because if she didn't someone at her work would probably have done it because she told them about the dead body smell.
Yes, she knew that but, imo, she didn't call 911 right away because they all needed time to create whatever plot or plan they were going to go with to circumvent family scrutiny. For all we know, it was Cindy's idea for Casey to come up with the Zanny the Nanny tale. Maybe they all agreed, before 911 was even called, that the "story" was going to be kidnapping. I think the cover up began right after the car was retrieved. This is JMO

Having to try and look in casey (or Cindy's) minds is quite the chore. I assume casey felt she had to tell an employment story to justify needing/having a nanny to care for Caylee since she was claiming the nanny took off with Caylee. Or perhaps she never considered LE would even inquire about her employment. What totally boggles the mind is: #1 she had a month to makeup a more believable story about what happened to Caylee, and #2 she apparently didn't think LE would followup on her stories to confirm them. Simply amazing.

Well, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you again. If there's even one regular on this thread (which isn't always the case overnight), any new information without a link gets questioned, pronto. Even information WITH links, if the linked site looks shady, get questioned/debunked. And even when a poster misconstrues something in a link, he or she gets questioned and discussion ensues.
I don't know what to do about posters or lurkers who pop in and out, and take pieces of unsubstantiated info and run with them ... not much can be done about that. But as a general rule, the kind of stuff that happened last night regarding Casey's parentage gets nipped in the bud very quickly on a normal day on the daily threads.

Still how can anybody be that stupid. We know casey watched crime movies, probably crime TV shows as well, and did research on the internet. She would have known how the criminal justice system works, including cell phone pings and tracing, finger prints, survelliance cameras, DNA, etc. Perhaps she also heard some informative LE info from dad over the years as well. How could she possibly believe that LE would take her word for anything, regardless of the fact that she was capable of pulling the wool over her parents. It just does not compute for me. The only explanation I can stretch my mind to believe is she was dumb enough to think mom and dad could somehow get her out of this mess, or, (less likely), she didn't give a d*mn one way or the other.

Imo, it's the A family dynamic in action. They live in a bubble, in a false reality of their own making. Just as Cindy and George can't figure why their non-stop nonsense isn't playing out here in the real world, neither could Casey predict how the real world would react to her nonsense.
Their arrogance + ignorance is an insurmountable problem for them. They've been running games on each other for so long, in the parallel universe they've fashioned for themselves, that they are like fish out of water out here in the real world, where lies don't fly and facts must add up.
Good on them, I say. It's just beyond tragic Caylee was the one to pay the price.

Your right...Casey is a very stupid individual....I believe that she had all intentions of going back and hiding the body better but not having gas in the car, she couldn't go looking too well....and she just got caught up in enjoying her freedom that she thought she had more time....Then when it was too late she treid to get Lee to move it, and when he wasn't able to and the body was found, she flipped out...because she then knew that her only defense (that Caylee was still alive ) went down the drain....she knew that she had been caught out there with all her lies.....and she knew that she would be (at the very least) spending the rest of her life behind bars.....

Perhaps that's the only thing casey took the time to plot. She was driving around everywhere leaving a trail of pings to confuse LE. Like Barbara in Fl said....casey probably just got too busy enjoying her newfound freedom to take the time to plan anything else to cover the death of her daughter. I think the cell phone part was easy...she apparently enjoyed riding around heading here, there, and yonder, AND constantly talking/texting on her cell phone.

Hi ml :seeya:
I'm going with the timeframe June 17 - June 21. The only thing that's got me confused is the paper towel/grave wax thing. But until we hear more on that, my guess is she was in the trunk in the neighborhood of 2.6 days per the Body Farm, which would be in that 17th-21st timeframe, more or less.

Yesterday, I was thinking she had Caylee in the trunk for several weeks. But after reading Dr. Schultz's report on time of death and scattering of bones, it seems as though Caylee was dumped in the woods during early stages of decomposition.
Also, the trunk readings, with the VFA reports, lead me to believe Caylee was dumped by June 21.
Dr. Stultz said her body had not disarticulated yet by the time the scattering began, so...
If I disappear from posting, I'm having internet problems.
chuckles.... I'm going to be very conservative, and say that Caylee was dumped like trash on Suburan Drive somewhere betwen June 18 and the week of July 4th. I am still of a mind that Caylee's body was hidden in the Anthonys backyard before she was disposed of in the woods on Suburban Drive. IMO, George asked the towyard person to help him look in the trunk, so that he could be a witness to astest to the fact that there was no body in the trunk when George drove the car off the lot. IMO, George already knew what had been in the trunk.

If I read the autopsy report correct yesterday it said it could have been from being in a shut up car for 30 days.
imo
Baez IS TRYING to bring this case down to Miami. I'm praying that Judge Strickland won't let that happen.
I can't see why a COV should matter all that much since Baez, LKB, the A's, BC have been all over NATIONAL media. Does Baez think that the Miami, Jacksonville, Tallahassee markets don't get CBS, ABC, NBC and NG? The entire state knows about the case, as do people all over the US.

Hey there,
I don't get a chance to follow this case, or these boards, as much as I'd like to... so I apologize in advance for the random question.
Does anyone know when the next court date is? Better yet, is there a news site that might have a timeline of upcoming events?
TIA

Here is where you might see what you are asking about. However, you are likely to find it upcoming court hearings posted right her just a bit quicker.
chuckles... I just rewatched a video from Jan 2009 where Baez indicated to media that he expected to receive a ruling on a COV by sometime in Feb 2009. Shucks, Baez never even filed for a COV until March 2009.
They really don't get it, do they? And I agree, they think they'll eventually "win."
Yup, because they think everyone is "stoopider" than they are.

I don't see a hung jury either. We don't have all the information, and it's pretty clear to us based on what we know. I think there is a lot more out there connecting Casey to the death of this child. She will not be a sympathethetic person to the jury either. Just like Scott Peterson hoped playing to the women on the jury would set him free, Casey will play to the men on the jury. jmo

IMO Judge Strickland is very aware of the media coverage that is happening. I think that he's also aware of how disrespectful Baez has been to the media in the Orlando area. ...and I have to keep reminding myself that this isn't all about Baez, but about Casey's rights.
Orlanda has a huge population, and I am praying that Judge Strickland will attempt to seat a Jury from there, before looking elsewhere.

I think that Cindy wanted very much to believe her daughter that Caylee was with her nanny "Zenaida" and when she over heard her telling Lee that she hadn't seen Caylee for 31 days, Cindy just flipped and probably for that one second thought that Zenaida actually had taken Caylee...so se called 911......But I honestly believe that had Cindy thought about it for more than a second, she would not have called 911 and ould have tried to hide the fact that Caylee was no longer around....
The Anthony's actions since tha 911 call has been nothing about Caylee and all about protecting the murderer....therefore I find it very hard to think tat they would have called 911 had they given it that second thought.....JMO
George and Cindy had known at least a short period of time before this happened that Casey didn't have a job. I suspect that G&C had discussed some of the lies and stealing money/forging credit cards from everyone and had concluded some time prior that there was no ZFG. George had physically went to one place where casey said she was working and he discovered that not only was she not working there but she had never worked there. That's why I don't think Cindy thought for one minute the NANY had Caylee and thus the comment "what have you done"

Or the guy at the tow-yard. When Cindy texted Casey her comment was we have a problem. Very strange comment.
That comment keeps coming back to me too. A possibility is that Cindy/George were in on the planning to dump the car at Amscot, with a purse in the car, etc., hoping someone would steal it (hmmm, were the keys in the car too? Or in the purse?). That would be the end of the problem, and explain Caylee's disappearance as kidnapping--someone stole the car with Caylee in it. Carseat was in the car -- Mama doll was in the car -- it was set up to look like Caylee had been in the car.
When the car got towed instead of stolen -- ooops -- Cindy texted Casey, "we have a problem." That's a VERY strange message, for any other scenario.

I think that was the planned scenario - the someone would steal the car and blame would fall on that unsuspecting person. I don't think Casey ever thought the car would be towed. Again, something thinking they were smarter than everyone else.

What a pleasant thought......
Don't forget about the time she wanted the judge to let her roam around without surveillance while out on bail. (Which he denied.) I think it was her intention then to move the body to a place harder to find or to somehow destroy the body entirely. It's MO that at this point, everybody was well aware that "no body" equaled possible "reasonable doubt."

I'm so over this outrage by some who think the world should stop while the high-profile odious one and her dream team try to come up with a defense strategy. Yes, it's a fight for her life. I think we need to take a close look at the body farm tests, or wait for it to be explained. I am sure it will all make sense by then.
The poster that just mentioned some sand was in the garbage bag with Caylee's remains, was correct I recall reading that.
Casey could have dug some sand out of the sandbox, buried her there, and then borrowed the shovel from the neighbor when she dug her out, and put her in the trunk, 2.5 days later.
For now, that is very close to my theory.

I'm sorry to quote myself, but does anyone have an opinion?
Yesterday, I was thinking she had Caylee in the trunk for several weeks. But after reading Dr. Schultz's report on time of death and scattering of bones, it seems as though Caylee was dumped in the woods during early stages of decomposition.
Also, the trunk readings, with the VFA reports, lead me to believe Caylee was dumped by June 21.
Dr. Stultz said her body had not disarticulated yet by the time the scattering began, so...
If I disappear from posting, I'm having internet problems.
My opinion is the 18th or 19th at the latest. Do we know TonE's schedule for those days? It sounds like she was with him constantly so it would have to be a time when he was busy. Also if it was so hot in Florida at that time then the trunk was probably already pre-heated before Caylee was placed there and things went rapidly after that. I think casey grabbed the Pooh blanket from the house to try to bundle up Caylee and use as a barrier between her and Caylee's body.

:seeya: to all of our lurkers!
Just a question if any of our legal folks know?
Is it 'OK' for an attorney to 'down play' the seriousness of the charges to his client?
If Jose (or none of the others) advise Casey that she could spend the rest of her life in jail, and maybe be put to death...and there is a 'good' chance that she may be found guilty...could she claim 'ineffective counsel' after the trial?
Are there any laws that 'protect' a client against being lead down the garden path?
Thanks to anyone who knows

"Alpha getti". (You're giving me grandbaby lust, but bad.)
Yeah, I'm really curious about the time-line being cleared up with all these tests coming in with wonky times.
Lavinia, have you read Dr. Schultz's report about the scattering of the bones?
I believe he is so "dead on". Caylee could have been skeletonized in as little as 2-4 weeks. And Caylee was scattered before then, in his opinion.
And the Sodium trunk tests say that if Caylee was in the trunk for more than 7 days, the Sodium levels, would...in my own words...been off the chart. The butyric acid was the only acid that had appeared in the VFA testing.
I think the grave wax thingy (which the report said was LIKE grave wax) could have come from just the paper towel coming in contact with a previous visit to the body and then left in the trunk.
I think I've just confused myself! :scared:

Hello AnniePie, I'm one of those mostly lurk and I appreciate you saying we are welcome. I have read everday here probally everypost made here and most certainly every doc dump and reports. I watch every court proceding right along with yall also. Most of the time when I want to type something someone beats me to it or has already typed it. Just wanted to say thanks to you.
Welcome out of Lurkdom! :seeya:
I hope you reconsider and post even if you think it has already been posted. There are times when we all post the same basic idea, but occasionally one of those posts may be slightly different triggering other ideas or scenarios.

I just finished watching a video where the ZFG attorneys were in court regarding how casey should be depo'd. The best part was watching the dream team(NOT)perform their circus act. At the table was a man who I couldn't quite figure out was doing, BC, commonly known as Ironside and sitting behind them was boyfriend who was pulling the puppet strings. Early on boyfriend attempted to get up and "state his purpose ..yak,yak, yak, yak" , the judge told him that only if what he had to say pertained to the motion being heard. Well, boyfriend said he felt it was important to...yak,yak,yak,yak,when M&M stood up and objected to boyfriend even being heard by the judge b/c he hadn't filed notice(I think this was the term) and the judge agreed and told(too nicely IMO)boyfriend to sit down. Then stranger ranger asked to confer with his "team". After taking several minutes to discuss with ironside and boyfriend, stranger ranger stood up and said "I would like to call Mr. Baez as a witness to the stand. Our hero's jumped up and in general terms said this was outrageous so boyfriend had to sit back down.

I don't know much about TonE's schedule.
The Pooh blanket...so sad.

Ya, being Grammy is the biggest joy in my life!
She lights up when I spray crazystring around the bath room.
I know she likes me..lol
I think we need to take a close look at the body farm tests, or wait for it to be explained. I am sure it will all make sense by then.
The poster that just mentioned some sand was in the garbage bag with Caylee's remains, was correct I recall reading that.
Casey could have dug some sand out of the sandbox, buried her there, and then borrowed the shovel from the neighbor when she dug her out, and put her in the trunk, 2.5 days later.
For now, that is very close to my theory.
JMO
(The grandbaby sound precious! I haven't bugged my married kids much but they better get busy, lol.))
About the sand, I wouldn't be surprised if there is sand with Caylee even if she never touched the backyard. I don't doubt that that area is very sandy with its high granite composition. With the water that was in that area, there would have been a lot of sifting of the debris in and around that bag and since sand is so relatively heavy (and large in grain) to other forms of dirt/silt, I can see if being left behind when all others wash out with the water. We need MORE info, lol, as all new info calls for more clarification, darn 'em!

I will say that while lurking I have enjoyed some of the banter without being involved, I 've seen some posters go by the wayside to band camp and go shopping on the way for new dresses, and it sometimes takes a few post to figure out which is which, and sometimes they have themes, ( soda pop) that gives us a hint. Sometimes we have the ones that seem to have inside info ( Littlebitty, Peter,) and then the ones that just like to be RIGHT on everything, I could go on but will not. Yes Desmom, thank you for all of your links...I look for them every morning. Especially the ones recalling what was happening a year ago...I can't believe that it has been a whole year!
So basically...TonE got up and out in the morning and went to class, and by the time he got home she had already done her stuff for the day and was back there.
So for the earlier timeframe (June 16th-July 15th)...where the heck was Caylee in the morning/afternoon...let alone at night? The Anthonys didn't have her...and she wasn't with Casey...where the heck was she?
I wonder where Cindy thinks that Caylee was?
Just my opinion of course...

I would think the body was dumped pretty close to the 18th. I'm basing my theory on what I recall in the forensics report. I think it said the body had been in the trunk approximately 2.6 days.

I can't speak for all attorneys but my retainer agreement outlines exactly what the charges are and the penalties the client is facing. The retainer also says I make no guarantees as to the outcome of the case. Since they sign the retainer they cannot later claim I did not advise them of the consequences they face.
In conversations I try to be as realistic as possible. It is a fine line because you don't want the client to think you are afraid to try the case. Ultimately, the client decides whether to plead or not. The retainer agreement states that as well. JMO

I've always looked at the period between June 16th and July 15th, as Casey being "homeless" by her own choice. Sure, she slept over at Tony's. Sure, she returned to the Anthony home for short periods of time. Slept over at Ricardo's. Showered at Jesse's. Spent time at William's or Chris's. Usually when someone moves, they will put in a forwarding address for their mail. Nowhere is mentioned that Casey did this. Surely a mother, age 22, with a child, does get some mail. If Casey had been a child, I would have classified her as a runaway. LOL

Thanks Lapis, I was hoping that you were still on
So basically the client is informed of the potential situation and has to sign off on it coming back that the attorney didn't advise them of the possible out come? Hmmmm...I can see how that might be a very fine line to tread as a lawyer....
I am hoping that Casey is reading the documents that she is signing and not just relying on the history she seems to have of thinking that if she just believes/wishes things are a certain way that she wants them...they will become 'reality'. That is she believes it enough...it must be 'true'...

Exactly....The body destroyed all of them....Cindy, George,Lee, the defense and most of all Casey....

Cristina must have cared for her alot also...
Remember that conversation?
Snip>>>>>
Christina: "If anything happens to Caylee, Casey, I'll die. Do you understand? I'll die if anything happens to that baby."
Casey: "Oh, wow. Oh, my God, calling you guy is a waste, huge waste. Honey, I love you. You know I would not let anything happen to my daughter. If I knew where she was, this wouldn't be going on."
Oh yeah, I remember that call. Christina had so much emotion in her voice you could feel her pain and there's casey being slightly annoyed at having to answer questions from behind bars and no one telling her the phone number of TonE. "Uh, because he's my boyfriend", nothing about Caylee from casey's side of the phone.

Oh, he will!!

And the a**'s are paying them!!!!!
While I find this post somewhat informative... I dont follow all the nickname terms. I thought it was mandatory we use names in posts?
BC I understood... boyfriend I didnt...

There were paper towels with grave wax or "like" grave wax on them in the bag of trash that casey left in the trunk and was thrown in the dumpster at the towyard the day george picked up the car. Bag of trash was later retrieved by law enforcement (LE).

I think that was the planned scenario - the someone would steal the car and blame would fall on that unsuspecting person. I don't think Casey ever thought the car would be towed. Again, something thinking they were smarter than everyone else.
If I wanted someone to steal my car, number 1, I would leave it unlocked...number 2...leave the keys in it...she did neither...she locked it and took the keys...she did leave her empty work (cough) handbag in the front seat, but if it would have been me...I would have left it unlocked at least. I don't know if she wanted someone to steal it or not...that car was her lifeline...and if she wanted someone to steal it, why try and get gas cans???
I guess I just can't wrap my head around her sociopathic idea's.

Do you or anyone remember what day she was backed up into her garage?

On June 18 or 19, Casey borrowed a shovel from Brian Burner at approximately 1:30 p.m. Casey’s car was backed into the garage. She returned the shovel around 2:30 p.m. Pages 6 – 7

Wow!! Thanks for the info and links, I don't know how you do that so fast but it's just magical! So TonE has class from 9 to 1 and in a spooky coincidence casey dropped Caylee at Sawgrass between 9 & 1.
There's just nothing original with casey, what's that called....a psychic vampire? I think she might have done all of the bundling of Caylee in those hours and then found some time at night to run an errand and go to Suburban Dr.Then again she is dumb enough to do it during daylight hours-it might have given her a sick little rush.
Good Catch! I didn't put the 2 together. Now we know why she said between 9 & 1!
Kudos to you!

Hi Imp! I was confused on the paper towel/grave wax thing too. I think Casey had visited Caylee's body , got grave wax on her, wiped her hands on the towel, then put it in the trunk.
Just a minimal amount of grave wax was found on some of Caylee's bones when found.
Yes, but prolly a lot had dissipated in the elements, plus some of her bones had been chewed on by animals...

IMHO
I doubt the A's are showing up in court to defend Casey or Caylee. It is all about them. What they can get. Their appearances on the media shows are for the $$$. They love attention and focus on them. I believe they are very selfish people and only care about themselves. No wonder Casey will not acknowledge her parents in court.
After George and his fiasco walking out of last court date proves to me it is not about Casey or Caylee. He was p'od cause he was called on his/their ch** when asked how many times they appeared before media.
They have told so many stories and lies they do not know which end is up or down.
And,I for one, would like to know who is paying for Caseys defense. Certainly not them. They barely get enough $$$ to keep them in gum and water.
And the souls who send Casey money. Heck, I believe she is eating better than her parents. After all the chili and pizza diet, they must be sick of it.
I will never understand them. I try, but is beyond my comprehension.
Off my soap box rant.

Thanks again Desmom...
And all of those days (17th-20th) were weekdays so Cindy and George would have been at work, and on or before 2:30 pm...so she would have time to make it back to TonE's..and would have missed George if he was leaving approx. 1:30.
Interesting...

LOL
I think she was only 'homeless" when TonE went to New York and she couldn't camp out at his place. I just picture her as glued to his apartment whenever possible playing den mother/playmate.

So on the 17th she must have gotten the bags from the house because of the smell then came back on the 18 or 19 to bury her but realized how deep she would have had to make the hole. So she returned the shovel. Maybe drove by the empty lot and decided to come back at night.

But thanks to all the posters that keep lurkers informed and up to date. Desmom thanks for your daily updates aince June 15, they are very helpful to bring it back to our thoughts each day.

I was out and about doing errands just now, and I was thinking about lurking on the board. I found this board the day after Nancy Grace first reported that Caylee had been missing and we watched the OC sashay into the courtroom in her blue hoody. I didn't know crime boards even existed at that time!
But my point is that I didn't lurk. It wasn't more than five minutes that I was posting like a madwoman, because everyone here at that time (and now) is so friendly and make newbies welcome.
I just wanted to pat us all on the back today.

When a body starts to decompose the fat turns into a soapy substance called adipocere. So far I think we are stuck at "within a month" as to when this takes place. No "at least 24 hours" or anything just "within" a month.

Judge Rodriguez is the Judge for the Civil Case. Kasen is the attorney on record for the Civil Case... yet couldn't even be bothered to show up for a court hearing on a Motion that he filed. And Morgan/Mitnik/Dill are the attorneys on record for the Civil Case for the Plaintiff.

And, since Kasen didn't appear..... Baez was there, with Conway also sitting in at the defense table.
