Cindy gave Casey anything she wanted. Casey was never taught to share or be honest. Respect is obviously not in their vocabulary and the cheating, lying and stealing had to have been from the time she was a small child.

I don't think this family ever had the tools to good parenting. I think Cindy was wrapped up in her profession and never gave Casey any quality time. Cindy just gave Casey whatever she wanted, screamed for, lied for, cheated for and a lot of threats.
I believe Cindy knows Casey is capable of killing her own daughter based on the 20 plus years Casey has put Cindy through. Casey is a mirror image of Cindy. We have said this numerous times and I will say it again.
Casey and Cindy are very cold, calculated individuals.
When Casey was a small child her mother never paid any attention to her. Casey acted out in a negative way to get that attention, any attention. The love from her mother was never there.
As an adult Casey was hungry for the same attention as she desired when she was a small child. It didn't matter what kind of attention she got from Cindy. Negative attention was better than no attention.

Well, she finally got her mothers full attention. She killed her little baby girl.

I thought that there was a graphic of the tattoo. I've been searching all day. It was the same one that Nancy had on her show last evening.

She didn't get the tattoo until 7/6 08 1 month after these pictures..Caylee was still alive when these pictures were taken

I don't know if casey is attempting to punish her parents, or doesn't want to face them now that Caylee has been found...probably a bit of both. I have no doubt in my mind that casey resents the trips for interviews, boat, drag racing and all the other attention that George and Cindy are getting, as well as them being able to be in more control than she is or ever will be again. I think the whole family should be carted off in straight jackets.

I always smile when you write something about your child playing ball. My teen son is major involved in baseball, and is currently playing on 3 leagues, so I know how busy you are. This board is a nice break and outlet for so many of us and it's so easy to get wrapped up in these sad cases.

I've never heard this, though I understand she did see a psychiatrist at the jail soon after her arrest. Due to HIPAA laws I seriously doubt the results would be released to the public. I would imagine casey was not very cooperative whether she was given an MMPI, or just had extended conversations with the doctor.

I always smile when you write something about your child playing ball. My teen son is major involved in baseball, and is currently playing on 3 leagues, so I know how busy you are. This board is a nice break and outlet for so many of us and it's so easy to get wrapped up in these sad cases.

What did he have when he was a teen?

I've been searching through my tons of case notes for this info but haven't found it yet. IIRC Lee had some kind of blood clotting disorder. Cindy talked about this in one of her LE interviews. She said due to this condition Lee had to postpone driving for a while as a teenager, and he and casey became very close.

I agree with you VB. I think Caylee looked just like Cindy and Casey hated Cindy so much that she took out her anger and frustration on that poor baby.

Casey didn't want to keep Caylee in the first place, so she was a burden right from the beginning. Then Cindy began the competition about who held her first, who loved her more, who supported her... and it all deteriorated from there.

It was a recipe for disaster right from the onset.

My younger sister had a little girl at 18 and she had no business even trying to be a mother at that time - she was drinking and partying - one night I found her in town with a whole group of guys in her car getting high with her child in the car...(!)...my parents had to literally go and get her so many times because my sister was just an awful parent to her.

Every time they intervened, my sister would throw a huge fit, - scream, cry, and full on drama each and every time..."she's my daughter, not yours!!" and so on...but every time she would get her even for an evening, she would be at my house asking me if I'd watch her while she went out!

My folks filed for and were granted custody...I think about what could have happened if they had not done that...and it ain't pretty...I am not saying that my sister would have deliberately hurt her, but she sure did put her in dangerous positions...I'm just sayin...

Did anyone see Nancy Grace last night when the Chris Coleman case came up andthey said they were going to order a toxology report on the bodies? Did they say Baden did the autopsy report? Anyone else see that?

Saw that they had ordered a "Coroner's Inquest" to investigate the autopsies and results for forensics to be released to the public, but didn't hear Baden named - although he very well could be...personally, I don't care for him - I have seen some dodgy testifying and his attitude is like how dare you question me, I'm Dr. Baden...I think he has let his head get too big and he got sloppy...jmo

This is what I'm wondering. If they dont trust Baden. He seems to have lost credibility.
