I wanted to ask our informed panel of experts here...do you think anyone will be sitting behind ol' Crazy when the trial starts? I imagine a vast black hole where all her "friends" and supporters would be - (maybe the press can fit in there) - because all of these people are on the prosecution's witness list of those who will be testifying against that psycho...they are not allowed in the courtroom if they are going to be called to the stand...right?

Bring on the conga line I say....I can already smell the cooked goose...

I would put money on Baez paying "extras" to come in to sit behind Casey at the time of the trial. To make it look like she has lots of supporters for the cameras.

just to add your great link re weather in 2008.
here's a link to the monthly 2008 rainfall amounts for orlando - check out how much rain fell starting in june!
http://www.cityoforlando.net/public_works/stormwater/rain/rainfall.htm
January (4.21")
February (2.13")
March (0.50")
April (2.84")
May (1.58")
June (7.95")
July (9.14")
August (12.98")
September (4.09")

Thanks for adding that Aloha!

yep- over 7 inches in June, then over 9 in July and August was a whopper for rainfall- and yet- Ms. Wray was up to her <insert whatever body part> in the wooded area off Suburban at least 10 times.

I hope she is up on all of her shots-

oh wow- that is possible! That just brought to mine a very big shot in my area that decided to join a church and donate a million bucks to them before his trial (many of the locals thought it was odd for many reasons- he didn't live on this side of town, and he was of a different ethnic background than the church family)- FF to trial and the church folks showed up in court and would have daily prayers- IRRC the jury said they were "influenced" by the church members prayer circle.

Hi all!

A "10" is (supposedly) a flawless looking woman (or man, I suppose). It originated, I think, with the movie of the same name starring Dudley Moore and Bo Derek.

The reason we use it here is because G&C told Zenaida Gonzales (the real one, who has a civil suit against Casey), she couldn't be THE Zanny because she wasn't the "10" flawless beauty Casey described Caylee's Zanny-nanny to be.

Hope that makes sense.

Hi all!
in case no one else posts the answer, ratings of 1 to 10 are based on the looks of a person, one is bad, 10 is perfect, most of us are in between. but the anthonys all think they are all tens and so was the mythical nanny, a 10.

Well he is smarmy enough to pull something like that so I would not be surprised or put it past him to try it. At least for the first week of the trial. I would also not be surprised if he paid folks to stand outside the courtroom on the days that the trial is in session with signs protesting her "unfair trial" or her innocence. Don't be surprised if you see new photos of Caylee in some rag magazine a few weeks before the trial, they will need some money to pull this off but I bet he will.

Another question. In the autopsy report they always say - espacially - that Caylee
had no post mortem trauma.
Could it be that she had trauma before. Do they have to tell in the autopsy report?
Or could this be sealed ...

LL

Well she certainly had pre-mortem trauma. She was murdered.

You know before everything was taken down online, I copied and pasted what I could from his personal journal he had up on myspace/facebook. It is really an interesting read, as Cindy would say. Too bad we cannot find GA or Cindy A's personal online journals. I know they are out there, GA even admitted once that he was an "online" wiz. He likes to come off as stupid, what is really scary about this whole family is how demented they are.

Also, don't forget that Amy was wrapped up in that duct tape at the anything but clothes party and I'm sure those photos will show she was wrapped by casey, the same way Caylee was, and I'm also sure that most of you will remember that Casey searched online about "sink holes" and now we know why: She knew Caylee was decomposing out there (her obsession with the skeletal remains of her body) and wondering if that area would sink due to the months of being under water. Casey A is not stupid but she sure as hell is not a rocket scientist. She can spend all her days reading law books and the spanish dictionary for all I care.

She will never smell home cooked food again, nor will she ever drive again, use the net or a cell phone, again. I need the state to prove to me that Cindy was not the last person with this child. I need the state to prove to me that Casey really did leave with Caylee that night. I need for them to wrap that all up.

The only type of omission we have from Casey is when she said to Cindy "not my fault" not my fault, twice. And cindy in that sickening sweet horrible "mother" voice, "well honey if you just hadn't lied to everyone"....It was at that moment that I suspected Cindy A, and still do to this day. The states case however is against Casey. Triple bagged like she was trash, is a phrase that will never be out of my head. Ever.

I would feel better if GA and cindy A were also locked up in a cell. Dangerous people, and most certainly not the kind of people you'd want for a neighbor, Inlaws, or anything else. I think Shirley understands this more than anyone. Who made Cindy the way she is? Was it her father? I'd love to hear more about the pathology in this family and how it all started. And, I need for the state to release who the father of this child is. They exonerated Lee, but they sure as hell didn't exonerate GEORGE. And GA was the one who left the home immediatly after her birth. Not the sign of a loving, concerned caring "grandfather or father" As far as I'm concerned.

The foundation where they exploit Caylee, is not going to be the retirement cash cow they hope it will be. It will fail.

George will be forced to work at some point, imo.

AND I think if he does the right thing for Caylee, and separated himself from the lies, comes forward with the truth about everything he knows, comes clean, he could end up getting a book deal in the end, and it just might secure some kind of income for himself.

But he'd have to dump Cindy to accomplish those things.

i'm half-way thinking i'll take a florida treck for the trial...

in the early days of internet message boards (1996-97), i became close with a group of about 14 or so... we actually rented a house for a week near the smoky mountains (gatlinburg tenn) for 10 of us from all over ... florida, wisconsin, texas, me from hawaii... one was from canada. i think the weekly rent was 1500 - split 10 ways, it was 150 each. great bargain!

Rating people on their looks just shows their lack of character.
And saying that Zenaida was not a 10 really shows how nasty
a family they are.
Wonder if they think they are all 10's.

That's what I asked earlier. How can the autopsy report tarnish Caylee's memory? That doesn't even make sense.

I've always heard forensic shows state that the victim always speaks through the autopsy, that the autopsy findings allow the victim's voice to be heard. According to this autopsy report, Casey silenced Caylee's voice with the duct tape and G & C are fighting really hard to keep her silenced.

Bolding mine....

I find it so ironic that The Anthony's are claiming that the autopsy report is going to tarnish Caylee's memory. From my perspective, their undying support for Casey (the one who murdered Caylee) is what is tarnishing Caylee's memory most of all. How dare they.

I know here in California, that answer is absolutely not. My mom's heart was truly broken when she was not allowed to sit in on our trial. Not even if she testified first. (believe me, we tried).

IIRC, back in the SP case, both sets of parents were originally on witness lists, can't remember who was on which, but I do think Sharon Rocha was on Geragos' list. The discussion (or argument) was that he was just doing that to keep her from being able to be in the court room. For whatever reason, she ended up not testifying, and was able to be in the courtroom. I also recall that Jackie P DID testify, about the money her son had when he was arrested, but IIRC, she was also in the courtroom for the whole trial. And, her testimony wasn't @ the first. But, it's been a long time ago, she could have testified early.

In the Amy Mullins case, her daughter was allowed to testify first, and was allowed to sit thru the rest of the trial. This was in WA IIRC.

Amy
06-21-2009, 08:32 PM
That is sad. Didn't Sharon Rocha sit in the courtroom? I am sure she took the stand.

I don't recall Sharon taking the stand during the trial, just in the sentencing phase. But, it was a long time ago, and I sure could be wrong. I do recall her sitting thru the entire trial, just as Jackie did. But, I do remember Jackie testifying about her giving SP the money he had on him when he was arrested.

i agree that it's easier to watch cindy in some ways than it is to watch george.
imo, george is passive/aggressive, which is a "sneaky" type of behavior, typically telling you to your face one thing, and then going behind your back and doing the opposite.

whereas cindy is much more open with her behavior... wysiwyg.. what you see is what you get with her. she may be obnoxious, but not as "sneaky" - she tells you to your face what she thinks.

George looks like he's trying to leave some kind of impression, with the grinding of his teeth, or clenching of his jaw, whichever it is. Lifting his head--what's that all about??? And, I don't recall that is how he acted in his initial interviews with LE and FBI. Something that he acquired somewhere along the way--he started doing that in some interviews, too. Guess, he's "thinking" about his answer, or trying to make sure he's saying whatever in a way people can understand---or maybe it's body language that is telling us, he wants us suckers to believe everything he says, when he knows what he's saying isn't going to be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. IMO

Amy

I've been toying with the idea AL really had no idea what she stepped into when she signed onto this case.

I'm thinking Lyon, after a couple weeks bringing herself up to speed, looks like this ---> :scared:

I wonder what attracted her to this case. Did she offer her services to Baez? Or, did someone from the "team" approach her? She has admitted she has not read up on the case--altho her first statement was "my client is innocent." And her second statement was that she was going to prove this is not a DP case. All that, without reading the details of the case.

Amy

Towards the end of the hearing, before George ran out of the court room, Cindy reached her hand to hold Georges, and he immediately pulled his hand as far away from her as he could.

Interesting body language.

Anyone else notice that?

I wonder what he was trying to convey with that? Wanting the people who watch (because they know there is a camera on them) that he is inconsolable? There is no reason for him to have people think he's mad @ Cindy, thus rebuffing her attempts to console him. Weird, but we'll probably never know why he acted like that. The stomping out, I get. A big show to let everyone know he is po'd about the decision. Guess Brad didn't tell them to expect the motion to be denied. Isn't she innocent until proven guilty? I think the defense is speaking "technically" rather than what the really believe. I can't imagine someone with the legal experience of LKB or Lyon actually ignoring the evidence and accepting Casey's word as truth. MOO

Well, according to Brad Conway, they will have to wait until the trial to get what the "evidence" is. You know, it's just discovery now, not evidence....yet. I do wonder why the heck he gets so het up about that--he said this when they were all on LKL, and again when he was on a show the same time the A's were on GMA or whatever show they were on. I agree. A huge leap. But that is the media, and it's what they do. Little girls may tend to have quite a number of pink colored tops.

She probably was wearing the top with the lettering on it along with the striped shorts when she was murdered. George is probably thinking of the last time he actually saw her and it might not have been on the 16th. His story on GMA and what he said in the beginning don't match at all.

Does LE know for sure that Casey stayed at home on the night of the 15th? After the fight that Casey and Cindy had on the night of the 15th
I would think that Casey would have left and not returned that night.
I can see her murdering Caylee on the night of the 15th after that fight because she was probably just enraged with her mother and ended up taking it out on Caylee if Caylee got on her nerves.

I'm wondering also if Caylee's clothing wasn't changed after she got out of her swimsuit because her and Cindy went swimming when they got home from the nursing home.

That poor baby girl. I hate to think of Casey covering her nose and mouth with duct tape and her being alive when it was put on there. She must have given her something to knock her out first or Caylee would have been fighting her. Probably the chloroform. Otherwise she would have had to tape her wrists along with her ankles together so she couldn't pull the tape off or kick. The whole thing is just so horrible.

We didn't get to see the trial on TV so it is hard to remember which family members testified. I can remember Sharon screaming to Scott "what was wrong with a divorce!" at some point.

It really depends on what the Pros and defense attorneys agree on. I wanted to sit in on the trial of the killer who murdered my daughter. I told the Pros that I would be there to represent her and I was going to be at the trial but I also knew that it was very likely that I would be called to testify. He said he would talk to the defense but more then likely I could or they would have me testify first then I could stay. The killer ended up pleading guilty so there was no trial. The defense wants the family...victims...out side in the hall so the jury won't feel bad for them.

I always thought Casey's question "you don't know my involvement?" meant "how dare you suggest I was involved in whatever happened to Caylee". MOO

That's how I always interpreted that statement from Casey as well. That seems to be her motto w/this case, no matter how much evidence the prosecution has against her, she is maintaining her innocence. It has almost reached ridiculous proportions because it is so obvious that Casey, and Casey alone, was responsible for what happened to Caylee.

IMO, none of them would be sitting behind her, anyway. Who wants to show support to someone who has stolen from and lied to you? And, in some cases, tried to throw you under the bus? :cursing:

Sorry for the loss of your daughter, and hope the perp's sentence was to never see the light of day again.

The part about why not divorce was what Sharon said in the sentencing phase, IIRC. But, like I said, a lot of water has passed under the bridge, and I'm not real positive that all my IIRC's are in fact, correct!! lol I think you are correct on when that occurred in Peterson.

Oh yes, I'm absolutely positive you are right. That was just in response to a couple of posts speculating that Casey didn't intend to kill Caylee. I also think that there was no chloroform. I think Casey killed her knowingingly and with pleasure.
I think Casey wanted her "erased." She can always claim that Caylee or Cindy "made" her do it.

Excellent post Susie! Anne Rule is one of my favorites too. Casey is like Scott Peterson. She will deny what she did to the bitter end!

So true! Like LP once said, Casey will be fluffing her hair while she is laying on the gurnee as they are getting ready to administer the lethal injection.:sneaky:

I read Caylee's autopsy report last night off of Nancy Grace's website. I felt physcially ill afterwards. I just can't imagine and I have a niece who's b-day is August 28, 2005 so she's just a few weeks younger than Caylee (would've been) and I just can't figure out why someone would want to murder a child like that.

What a horrible way for someone to dispose of a toddler's body like that. Several layers of duct tape around her mouth and nose, her body was wrapped in two or three black trash bags, placed inside a Whiteny Design clothes bag from Target, and then laid to rest not too far from the Anthony home. Spooky.

I find the Whitney Design Laundry bag to be the most compelling of all evidence because Casey was caught on camera shopping at Target only days after Caylee went missing with checks she stole from her friend Amy Huizenga.

Also there were reports that Casey's prints were lifted off the duct tape and that the same exact duct tape and black trash bags were found in the Anythony home.

Casey is so guilty.
