Awesome. And with that, I'll leave and read up on the case somewhere else. This hate for George and Cindy that has escalated to the point they're being blamed for the death of that sweet little girl they adored nauseates me. I'll cross my fingers and be glad when Casey is found guilty and pays for what SHE did.
just as Casey should be held accountable for her actions, so should anyone else. George and Cindy choose how they act and how they speak. I will honor Caylee by respecting her memory and donating to worthy causes in her name.
but I will not glorify her grandparent's behavior or excuse it only because they lost their grandchild by their own daughter's hand. I will respect them as soon as they behave in a manner that earns it. The loss of a loved one is not an excuse to disobey laws, disrespect others, or use death of an innocent child a money making scheme on network tv.

In the Forensics report it says on page 13 or 6563 that Compounds associated with anaerobic decomposition where found supporting an oxygen deprived decompositional event.
Does that mean that the body was oxygen deprived or that there was a lack of oxygen in the truck and the environment the event occured in was oxygen deprived?
I interpret that to mean that the environment in which the decomp took place was oxygen deprived... probably due to the bag(s).

I was watching Forensic Files a couple of nights ago. They had a case about duct tape and finger prints.
A man was tied to a chair with duct tape and tossed into a river, alive.
Almost a whole 60yd roll of tape was used to tie him. The tape was pieced together and every rip matched, etc. No fingerprints were found on it. But LE was missing a very small piece of the tape.
LE had a suspect. Two, actually, as they were Brothers. Their Mommy gave them an alibi.
Someone was fishing, IIRC, months later, and found some duct tape. LE tested it. The finger print of one of the Brother's was on it. IIRC, they were able to tell that it was a piece used to wrap an ankle.
In the commentary, one of the detectives said it was very rare for a finger print to be found on tape after it had been in the water for so long.
I remember that case - I think you're talking about the banker in Noel, MO. I was living a short distance from there at the time. Sick boys, those brothers.

so he can showcase the psychopath cindy.....and witness her 'shaking'.....shaking with RAGE....
it was refreshing to hear someone PUT IT TO George Anthony about his/their media interviews that simply dont seem to cause them anguish.....
and if that was a media producer (I think Today Show has 3)...well, it deflated their plea....media media media, but its OUR media and only WE are allowed to talk about the case...
Cindy and her superior attitude and GA, all leashed up and only goes where Cindy tells him to go....and BC, with loon-itis.....

Just getting back, bchand....glad you had a lovely day with your grandkids! I've been catching up, too.
I was so sickened by the "suffocation" theory that the tattoo business slipped my mind. Is the tattoo that important? Are they planning to show this as (more) proof of OC's callousness? Sounds like they're going to a lot of trouble to get the pictures.
Hi! A tattoo of "the good life" during the time your daughter is "missing" should be huge to the state's case. I'm glad they're going to add this. MOO

We have free speech. Say what you will. You have the right and legal obligations. You may have moral obligations. That is for your personal consideration.
Some things I ponder:
=how would you feel if Caylee is in Heaven or some eternal state and is aware of all the things you are saying about Cindy and George?
You say you love her; would she see it that way?
=This board is about who murdered Caylee. Grandparents are not accused or on trial for that crime.
=All of their conduct relevant to the murder case is on topic. Other conduct is not.
=During all of Caylee's short life, the two people who took care of her, played with her, took her for rides through the neighborhood in a wagon and paid for her food, clothing and shelter were George and Cindy.
=Two of the people she loved most in her whole life were George and Cindy.
=Perhaps the person George and Cindy loved most in all the World was Caylee.
= She kept them together as a couple. There was joy in the marriage again in the form of a loved person who daily changed and charmed them with laughter and sweet child behavior.
=She was the most important aspect of their lives day to day. She healed a lot of wounds and gave new hope to two ordinary people with faults.
=That kind of love of child toward grandparents should be honored.
=That kind of love of grandparents for grandchild should be honored.
=It does not seem fitting or right or honorable to express glee at another's downfall.
=Caylee was about love. Let us honor her by acting with love.
May I ask that you think on these things from time to time.
Grins, I was so upset that I couldnt cope on the 15th and 16th just thinking about what caylee must have gone through and my only comfort was in my thoughts that she is in another realm....on another plane of existence....that her consciousness has been freed from the horror that surrounded the end of her life as we know life....
IF she is still aware of george and Cindy, I am sure that it saddens her to see their grief and anguish.....Although WE MAY HAVE MUCH DISDAIN AND DISGUST FOR THEM AND THEIR BEHAVIOUR, caylee may have unconditional love for them.....
I know that I am nowhere near perfect and because fo that have lost dear friends.....and I know that I would not want to inflict hurt on ANYBODY in the name of judgement and disagreement with the way they believe or the way they act.
I believe them to be scammers and I do believe them to be evil....but Caylee may not believe that....and I wouldnt want to hurt Caylee by wishing bad on the people that she loved in her life here ...and continue to love in her afterlife....
However, it is one thing to have done evil things and to take responsibility for ones actions....It is another to be UNACCOUNTABLE and to KEEP ACTING IN BAD WAYS.....
This entire thing has left me with very mixed feelings and feeling very heavy hearted.
However....I have NOTHING BUT CONTEMPT for the lying deceitful game-playing attorneys such as brad conway and Jose baez. I understand they have their jobs to do but there is a boundary.....there are parameters.....

For starters, I do not believe the grandparents are that grieving over their granddaughter. They can't even say her name. If they really loved Caylee they would not want to support, lie, and cover up for her murderer. I think Caylee was just a possession to them and now she's only a moneymaker. They do not even care that much for Casey. They prefer to go on a media blitz to raise funds for their fundation even though it continually hurts Casey's case. It seems they have made their choice - their "daughters" or the money. The money won.

And if they love her that much they owe her dignity in death, which they certainly did not give her, and they owe her justice, which they will never give her as long as they perpetuate the myth that she was killed by someone other than her mother. They have let her down imo

Did anybody else catch in the report today that some fine sand was found in the laundry bag found with the body? I've always believed Casey drowned Caylee in the family pool and would have either drugged her or taped her mouth to keep her quiet until it was over. She'd probably have laid the wet body down in the yard at some point afterward while she went to get trash bags & the laundry bag to hide the body in. Didn't Caylee have a sandbox in the yard?

Of all the discussion I've read on today's threads about the grandparents, I agree with this one most.
I can't bring myself to blame them for Caylee's murder. This is a truly dysfunctional family. Dysfunction is often self-perpetuating. Hindsight is 20/20. They've paid the ultimate price.
There, but for the grace of god, go I. My first marriage - into which I brought two children - was with a sociopath. When I finally figured things out, it was almost too late. I was doing the best I knew how at the time. If one of my kids had committed a crime during that time, people here would have crucified me.

Well, hello, Miss. It's a pleasure to meet you. Welcome to IS.
It does sound terrible the way Caylee died. IMO Casey left the night of the 16th after she and Cindy had that fight where Cindy choked Casey and IMO I do believe that Casey stormed out of that house with Caylee in tow and Caylee was screaming and afraid of the hostility surrounding her. Casey was yelling, like, 'shut up.... Shut the .... up and Caylee wouldn't stop crying because she was dramatized.
Casey couldn't handle it and she duct taped that baby's mouth.
JMO
I see it happening just a tad different due to the heart sticker that was put on her mouth. I think that she hauled Caylee off that night just exactly as you described, took her to a remote place and then wrapped the duct tape around her head a few times (I do agree Caylee must have been crying) very purposefully, not in the heat of passion, panic or lack of being able to handle it, but with spite and malice against Caylee and Cindy, wrapped the tape around her mouth and nose and stood there and watched this kid kicking and struggling for air until she succumbed. I think that this was building up inside Casey for a long time, that she resented this baby, was jealous of this baby and was sick and tired of being tied down with this baby. I think it was intentional and very well thought out. The sticker imho was a little jab at Caylee.

Evening all.
I'm just jumping in, haven't been reading the board today, but just finished reading the autopsy report.
In going thru this autospy report, I can now see why the Ant's didn't want it released.
Now, I'm not a medical person at all and next time I go thru it I'm going to have the medical dictionary open to help me understand all the words I don't know.
But, back to the Ant's resistance....
If I'm reading correctly, Caylee's body was ducked taped not with one strip, as I was thinking, but with several strips. Covering the nose, the mouth and just under the mouth holding the jaw in place (minus the connective tissue) and attached to the hair. So, the strips of tape were long enough to cover her whole face from nose down and go into her hair and were perhaps put on with great force in order make sure the contact and covering would be difficult, if not impossible for Caylee to remove it if she were fighting and struggling to breath by trying to remove this duct tape.
There is evidence that the body was in that area before it was completely decomposed. In fact shortly after she died.
Just these two things tell me that the Ant's didn't want the truth of the duct tape as well as the time Dr. G and the others have opined on when Caylee was dumped in those woods.
The duct tape was extreme, that means they are now or have realized that their daughter killed their gdaugher. It was no accident and it seems to have been done in a rage.
They also now have to recognize that Caylee was never missing...she'd been murdered and dumped all the while they kept saying they knew she was alive and missing.
They have, in a way, immediately with this report, lost their standing of grandparents of a missing grandaughter.
I don't feel that it might be the certain humilation that most people in their postition feel that has them so upset and devestated.
I think that now that the autopsy report out there for everyone to read, they are afraid the people who have thus far been feeling sorry for them and supporting them and giving them money may just begin to drift away and the supply of money as well and the sympathy and support they have received is going to drift away as well.
I have not been able to figure out if they feel shame or embarrassment to be in this situation at all. To have their daugher sitting in jail for the murder of their grandaugter. I only witnessed anger at others, blaming of others, defensivness, lying, covering up and maybe even destruction of evidence as well as obstruction and hindering of the investigation of the death of their grandaughter.
They have displayed no real sorrow, they have continued to show an arrogance and lack of humility that sickens me beyond no end.
I wonder now if they will finally crawl into their home and stay away and out of the public eye for awhile.
Because in my mind, this autopsy report just kicked their legs out from under them.
Poor Caylee, I'm so sad to learn of the reality of the duct tape.
I really, reallly pray that she was asleep or unconcious while her own mother taped her up and made sure she would never draw another breath.
If not, I can't imagine how confused and terrified she must have been and then if she had to look her mother in the eyes as it was happening.
Oh, my dear Lord.

I agree. What I think about is how easily G and C pushed aside any mention of Caylee, so that they could spend time in front of TV cameras defending Casey, how they criticized people for looking for her (while they sat home and did nothing but wait for the media to give them face time) and how they tore down memorials to the little girl they claim to have loved so much.

Was there anything about the duct tape being over her nose and cheek area as well as over her mounth/jaw area? I know it was more than one piece.
It was over both the mandible (lower jaw) and maxilla (upper jaw).

Yes, I agree - the tattoo is very damning to Casey's defense. Looks like the prosecution is covering all their bases.
How can any normal person get past her doing this? The jurors will be wondering - How could Casey bring herself to do such a thing? Whether she thought Caylee had been kidnapped.....or even after murdering Caylee.....how could she???
The choice of that particular tattoo and its timing chills me to the bone because it shows Casey didn't think at all about how this was going to play out. She had to have really thought she could pull this off and nobody would seriously question her - that she'd be able to sell the Casey's gonna be with Zanny story to her family and friends as easily as she'd sold them the "I'm off to my job today" fantasy.

OH, they will regroup. To them, running to every single talk show that they can to tell US, the viewers, what a wonderful mother Casey was, will fuel them forever! Little do they know, or don't want to know is that every single time they do this, they lose more and more credibility and more and more people (if there are any left)! They truly think that they are doing good and as long as they think that, they will keep going. SOOOO unfortunate to those of us who truly do not want to listen to them and even more unfortunate to little Caylee who never had a prayer since the day after she was reported missing! It was all about Casey and cover up after that.

The Anthonys are showing their ugly side by trying to save their daughter. I think Caylee is secondary now. All they care about now is Casey. They'll do anything, and I mean anything to protect Casey. Even if they know Casey did kill Caylee.
This the first I've heard of the autopsy report. There goes my pathetic theory that this was originally an accident. That was a horrible way for anyone to die. It makes me want even more for Casey to die in the electric chair. I still doubt she'll get it. But I feel better about her chances to be behind bars the rest of her life.

The thing is, way more people watch LKL and the Today Show than read autopsy reports like we do so I guess there will still be compassion from nice people who don't know what the truth is.
For example, Conway said there was NO DUCT TAPE around the skull with such authority on LKL he's probably believed -- a lot of people don't know that's been refuted.

Until I hear someone else say the same thing, I remain skeptical.
She probably duck taped her mouth, nose and hands - and then threw her in the pool - where she drowned.
It's too sickening to even imagine. :(

I do believe they knew the truth but I don't believe it hit home until the actual details were spelled out for them.
IMO, the reason C&G did not want the autopsy report released is because it would give a pretty good explanation of how Caylee was killed. If you recall, they and all their supporters (soda pops and all) continually argued that the duct tape could not have been adhered to the skull at all. They continually insinuated that it was the interpretation of the LE investigators that they merely believed that was where the tape had been. This has been one of the biggest arguments from this camp. The autopsy report pretty much shoots that theory full of holes.

OMG Reading that took my breath away.

This same thought gnawed at me all afternoon. When I heard there were MULTIPLE LAYERS OF DUCT TAPE, I thought to myself, she ripped a piece off, looked at Caylee, put it on, and then picked up the roll of duct tape, and ripped off another.. That is the most horrible, horrific thought.
But to top it all off, what is the most TWISTED THING THAT SHE DOES NEXT, is puts a heart sticker directly over the mouth. A heart sticker. WTH is she thinking when she does that? I can't even begin to imagine. Was it a heinous game that went astray? Look Caylee I just put a heart sticker over your mouth. Look in the mirror honey. Isn't that funny?
Sure, they're have been more horrific twisted crimes in America. Dalmer comes to mind. Couey. This one is equally as twisted. I have no doubt of the guilt of the PRP. I hope she never gets it out of her mind that frightened look in the eyes of her poor defenseless daughter.
She deserves to die the same way. An eye for an eye.
I'm right there with you DT! My bolding especially tells of why I think Casey deserves to die.
Too bad they don't take special requests at the execution....mine would be to give her a chance to say her last words....tape her mouth with duct tape and place a nice big heart sticker over the mouth area.
Caylee didn't have a chance to speak or cry out, she was silenced in the most horrible way and by the one person she should have been able to count on to love her, protect her and raise her into adulthood.
She didn't have any of that, she didn't have a chance to speak any last words....why should Casey?

I have always believed God intervenes and doesn't let a child feel the pain we think they may feel....
I also believe this kitty. I also believe that the perpetrator of a horrible crime like this will be shown and be made to feel exactly what the victim of their crime would have felt, if the Lord didn't step in.
Casey and all the other perps out there will one day stand before God.
This is when they will experience the horrors of their deeds.

I have to wonder how Casey was able to put more than one piece of tape around Caylee's head? I would think that Caylee would be struggling to get the tape off. I guess its possible that with it in her hair and maybe pulled really tight she just wasn't able to get it off before her mother completely covered her mouth and nose. Anyway, horrible!
I have to wonder if Caylee were crying in Casey's room the night of the 15th and suddenly went quiet and C & G knew and never bothered to check to see why she stopped crying so suddenly.
Casey is so screwed. Those attys better start helping her understand what shakey ground she's standing on.

If there is this wonderful place where Caylee is chasing butterflies or whatever and it is so much better than here, why would we want to punish Casey for sending her there? Shouldn't we congratulate her for sending her daughter to all this love and peace? Why wouldn't we all just commit suicide so we can be carefree and chase butterflies and look down on earth and be glad we weren't there? This is a lovely myth and I suppose it gives comfort to those who believe it. But it is just superstition.
Caylee is dead. Nothing is left. She is not in a "Better place." She is in no place. The only justice her memory will have is here on earth, if there is justice.

I think the Anthony's and Conway attempted to have the autopsy sealed because they simply needed something to do and wanted some drama.
Cindy sure can look like a victim when she wants to. Head down, and shaking. Why didn't she jump up and scold the Judge, like we've seen her do to Morgan and company?
she won't get away with doing that during the trial either. They need to stay home.

Hi sweetie!
It is depressing, isn't it? We have heard most of it, but when it is in writing, then it sure puts things into a deep, dark perspective.
Hi back darlin!
Yes, it is depressing to see these official writen words.
It does put things into a deep, dark perspective when we see in those official words more to what we have seen already. Yes, we knew about the duct tape, but didn't know it was 3-4 pieces of duct tape. We also didn't know till now, that that tape also covered her little nose.
We didn't know how it was put on that little face with enough force that it attached to the hair so solidly and kept the mandible in place, even thru decomp and the connective tissue that normally hold that in place was gone, yet that mandible stayed in place. This is what I call Divine intervention.
It also speaks of rage and hate.
As someone, sorry can't remember who, said...this release of the autopsy is a 'turning point'.
Not only for us, but for the defense and the Ant's.
God only knows what will come in the next few days in regard to any reaction from the Ant's and JB.

Something more like putting her on death row, and then not letting her know the date of execution. It could happen at any time Casey.

Unless casey just so happened to have duct tape in her car for some unknown reason, or stopped somewhere that evening to purchase (coincidentally) this unusual brand of duct tape with the Henkel brand name & logo posted on it, I'm inclined to think she murdered Caylee in the Anthony home on the 15th. I speculated early in this case that following the huge fight (verbal & physical) between casey and Cindy, that Cindy in frustration retreated to her room, (& her pills), and casey and Caylee went to 'their' room. At this point Caylee must have been terribly upset and crying for grandma as she witnessed casey's state of out of control venom, fury and explosive anger. I think the combination of Caylee crying & perhaps calling out for grandma, and Cindy walking away from casey after making threats that this time she had 'the goods' on her, and SHE WOULD take Caylee from her, pushed casey off the deep end. The result was she was backed into a corner she couldn't get out of and therefore wanted to get revenge, and Caylee was her means of doing so. Could be casey and (now deceased) Caylee were still at home when George returned from work, but they left as soon as casey was confident George had gone to sleep....and after casey affixed the heart sticker (she had in her bedroom) to Caylee's mouth. Mommie loves you Caylee....but I told you to SHUT UP and stop asking for grandma!!!
I also think it's possible casey left Caylee in the backyard that night while she went off to try and figure out what to do with Caylee's body, and dealt with that on the 16th after George went to work. Perhaps the phone calls were to assure herself that neither G or C had a clue about what happened to Caylee the previous night.

I think so too. kanzz. That area has a high concentration of granite and will have abundant sand almost anywhere because of that. The sand was most likely left behind due to it's weight and size. It just sank to the bottom when other, lighter, smaller types of "dirt" was washed away with the water. IMO.

Miami,
that was just ONE act of total disregard. there was a myriad of events she was participating in for PLEASURE.....and witness after witness who will testify as to her demeanor.
her parents on LKL: he mentions her out dancing friday nite following the 'abduction'.
C. ANTHONY: That's one evening.
KING: One evening. That's a lot, one evening.
C. ANTHONY: One evening. Again, who knows? She could have been in shock. I don't know. You know?
KING: Can you ask her? Casey, why were you out dancing?
C. ANTHONY: She was there, she said, looking for clues and people that could help her find Caylee?
HA! there it is people. a psychopath excusing the behaviour of another psychopath. ONE NITE is one too many with regard to the alleged 'tragedy' that Casey was supposedly 'dealing' with....yes, ladies and gentleman, Casey 'COULD HAVE BEEN IN SHOCK'.
the jury is not going to be able to get past 31 days of total disregard coupled with her movements and behaviour during that period. witnesess will attest to her 'normal behaviour', where she was, what she was participating in AND most importantly, her shameless brag that her daughter was with her nanny at various 'fun locations'.
it will be an impossible task to sway a jury into believing she was 'in shock' or any other level of emotion that prevented her from reporting her daughter kidnapped. too many witnesses and of course, other pieces of evidence that will tie her to this crime, direct and/or CE.
IMO
best regards,
Pru

I believe she stormed outta da house that very night, drove around fuming, saw a half empty parking lot, pulled in n tried to call Toni and all the while, Caylee is in the back seat in her car seat, extremely upset, crying, calling for grandma, driving Casey nutzzz! Casey got fed up, tricked Caylee into the trunk n there u have it. Silence for Casey and sadly for our lil Caylee, also. She then gets back in the car and makes calls to Toni and I believe they talked til the wee hours of the morning that night, all the while, Caylee was starting to decompose in the trunk, thus the smell several days later, til she dumped her in the woods.

But remember Judge Strickland, Linda Drane Burdick..... Much kudos to them.

Oh, and you get a *free* surgical procedure that removes your morals and ethics. A moralectomy and ethicectomy - two for the price of one. This is replaced by walletitis - an uncontrollable urge to get money.
No offense to our lawyers here.

I've held onto what LE said from the day they arrested this OC - they knew she acted alone, and they knew in was not an accident. They're right.

Sometimes, when things are really bugging me and I'm finding myself worried or upset in this life, I have to sit myself down and ask myself - OK, where's the silver lining in this one?
I was surprised that I had to do that tonight because I don't often let the woes of strangers get to me much.
So - after a few minutes of searching for the answer to that question, I came to my conclusion. It makes me feel better. I hope it will help some of you, too:
The Silver Lining today - for Caylee Marie - is the reports give me reason to believe the prosecution will win.

I understand your comments. However, I do believe that there are many ethical lawyers and judges. We just happen to be seeing the 'bottom of the barrel' in this case. There are people in all professions that will do anything for a 'buck' and the defense in the Anthony case is an example.
But remember Judge Strickland, Linda Drane Burdick..... Much kudos to them.
Jose and Brad are an anomaly and will do 'anything' to further their careers.
Jose and Brad are defense attorneys, not anomalies.
Stan is a judge and LDB is a prosecution attorney.
They each made their choices, and my reasons stand.

Well, as hard as her family and their attorneys fought against its release, and as much spin as they've tried to apply for the last year, much of what Caylee went through in her final few moments on this earth is now known.
It's about damn time the focus shifted for a moment to the tiny victim and away from the accused and her enablers.
She wasn't protected in life. She shouldn't be ignored in death.
Good-night, everyone.

OHHHHH, another brilliant idea!!! I am just livid after reading what all she did to her!! I was just amazed at the completely THOROUGH JOB the OC did on this case!! This OC just simply ROCKS!! They went over the dump site with a fine toothed comb, and then some!! I believe because of this, Casey doesn't stand a chance in Hell of gettin OFF on this!!!!!!!! I swear, if she does, there will be riots, something near the likes of the OJ Verdict riots here in Cali, at his not guilty verdict!!!
This evil soul Casey, needs to be dealt with fiercely and with due justice for OUR baby girl!! And ya, put her in a cell WITH Big Bertha while she waits her "LAWFULl" justice! Oh, I am just so mad over all this. The autopsy reports just really hit me hard, as I'm sure it did all of you! :cursing: :sneaky:
My bold...yes, it has mad me angry as well as so sad.
I'm finding my emotions all over the place with report. Like you sweetly, I could spit nails and keep wanting to cry out...Casey must die!
I'm also so very, very sad to finally know the facts.
I do keep thinking tho, you, me and everyone else here is here for Caylee and what we all are feeling and expressing tonight is pretty wonderful. We are the only ones who are feeling for Caylee.
We have and continue to be here, we show our interest, our love of Caylee each and every day.
I'm so glad to be part of a group that have many opinions, lots of emotions, tons of ideas...but most of all, we are all here for Caylee.
Today was hard because of that. The autopsy report revealed things we didn't know, expanded on things we did.
With our love for Caylee and our hopes and prayers for her justice we have all in some way been affected by this report.

Good evening all.
Graveyard shift reporting for duty, here.
I watched the hearing today and was so annoyed at the way Cindy and George behaved. The phoniness, the fake tears and crying out in front of the Judge, Cindy sitting back there laughing with the person sitting next to her and as soon as the Judge walked out her whole demeanor changed to a grieving Grandmother.
What really burned my azz was when she was listening to Strickland's ruling and she sat there shaking her head no until she realized where the camera's were located. She had to get her face all in there to show how disgusted she was.
Is it true Baby George walked out of the courtroom before Judge Strickland finished up? What a baby who didn't get his way as he was standing up there whining to the Judge. I really think the Anthony's thought they were going to pull one over on the good Judge.
If you can't dazzle them with Brilliance, baffle them with BS.
Nice try Cindy and George. Brad is getting worse. Listening to the press conference thereafter was an Anthony speech! He knows better but went right along with them two evil do'ers...:glare:

How can Brad get on tv and say there was NO hair and that people were lying about it when the autopsy report clearly talks about the hair?
because Cindy told him to lie.
he is doing the devil's bidding, and if he falters, she steps in and humiliates him: for instance the interview with LKL discussing the diary. Cindy and Brad both give a different date. (what else is new)....
it wasnt leaked, it was in the doc dump. they cant get it thru their brains that the Sunshine Law is a LAW, they call it a 'leak'...good grief.
Cindy telling the world that their esteemed attorney cant get his facts straight: isnt he supposed to be telling THEM to keep their mouths shut? why on earth does he appear with them in public if he cant control them? NeJame got their # and bailed.....not BC.....he keeps duh'ing along......

KING: Why would the prosecutor issue something that was two years before the baby was born?
CONWAY: Because it was released with the discovery.
C. ANTHONY: No, it wasn't, Brad. It wasn't. Let me explain. The prosecutor didn't have that diary, didn't look at the diary. We had it. Someone at the Sheriff's department took a picture of the diary while they were in our house. We have possession of the diary. And leaked it to the media, and the media ran with it.
according to BC, the media also ran with this:
CONWAY: We know that there was no flesh and no hair attached to the -- to the duct tape, yet that's what goes out in the media and that's what people assume to be true. And that's the unfair part, is that this -- this young lady has not had her opportunity in court, yet -- yet people have drawn conclusions from discovery that's out there.

Baez was up and running his mouth today. For what, I couldn't figure it out.
The good Judge made his ruling and he had to stand there and go over what he had already discussed with the prosecution.
Does this mini lawyer know what the he77 he's doing on a case with this magnitude.
This trial will be interesting just watching him. He talks a lot but says nothing.

Picturing how it must have happened, I assume Casey taped Caylee's hands and ankles initially as well. When she was taping her mouth and nose and Caylee was beginning to struggle, I believe the Angels came and helped her by putting her in a trance like state to ease the horror to come. God would would have requested that.
That is what I want to believe.
Casey probably removed the tape from the ankles and hands to pack Poor Caylee in the bags.
I think she chloroformed her to make her sleep and then she ran the tape around her mouth and nose a few times. JMO

Thank you "seeing eye"...
lawyer's do have a bad reputation, too often..and there are so many lawyer jokes I can even laugh at and tell.
but
You get nothing but a piece of paper that says "J.D."..means nothing to some people perhaps..but it is a Juris Doctorate..as good as a PhD..lots of hard work and time..it's NO JOKE..and I'm personally offended by those remarks.for me and my colleagues. I worked for a single woman attorney raising her two kids..and then I became one, too..still raising my child by myself. It's no picnic and nothing is ever guaranteed. But you abide by the ethics or risk losing your job, or being able to sleep at night. Just because an attorney gives his or her all to defend or prosecute does not make them slime or unethical...it means they are doing the job they "signed up for". You get that JD..then you have to pass a Bar.then you have to find a job that you can work at and keep. This is no rose coloured glasses...or surgical procedure. Some lawyers are Crooks..granted...but they all aren't...and this poster just disparaged a lot of upstanding people who really do want to make a difference and truly help people. Maybe s/he should take off the sunglasses and get a real look at the world. Sure there are slime attorneys..but there are slime parents and spouses too..don't you think? And, don't forget those "hired" experts.
Standing up for the lawyers I know..who are upstanding people..no matter which side they work on. It's a job that is too often "unrewarding"...it isn't all about money...just like teaching. It's the difference you can make in a person's life. Then you hear about the "lawyer bashing"..it's like bullying..behind the back...when you haven't got a clue as to what goes in to it.

Yes, *snort* they were looking for a "live caylee" under the playhouse.
Can you imagine what's going on over at the Anthonys den of horrors tonight? Spinning, twisting, yelling, screaming, blaming, conniving... oy.

LOL, sure, plenty!!! :w00t: Wasnt the night of the Cindy choking the night we believe Caylee was killed, the night Casey called Toni from some parking lot n they were on the phone for hours?
I absolutely agree, I just posted above about the very same thing.

Jayne, since I'm not a lawyer, I wasn't personally offended, but I am personally aware of how a whole group of people can suffer for the actions of a few. I'm retired now, but my entire work history was in law enforcement and I fully understand how one "bad apple" can ruin the whole barrel. Even now, it still embarrasses me when I hear of a peace officer doing something illegal or unethical because it tends to throw dirt on all the officers who wouldn't think of doing anything like that. It just kinda hits a sore spot.

Miami,
that was just ONE act of total disregard. there was a myriad of events she was participating in for PLEASURE.....and witness after witness who will testify as to her demeanor.
her parents on LKL: he mentions her out dancing friday nite following the 'abduction'.
IMO
best regards,
Pru

A buffoon!!! I love it Pru.
The judge was walking out of the courtroom, and the Waterboy is objecting to the release.. Everyone is walking out, and wants to get THAT on the record.
I tell you what friend... This is going to be some incredible theatre once this trial starts. The PRP doesn't stand a snowballs chance in hell once they seat a jury and they hear all the evidence against her.
And mommy and daddy can't help her anymore.
Today after the hearing I was thinking casey really should send mom and dad a thank you note. A note of thanks for all they have done with their outlandish shenanigans over this past year to draw more attention to her case. A note of thanks for keeping the public's interest in every little detail causing additional curiosity, and pushing for more. A note of thanks for all the 'mistruths', and ever changing stories to keep this as confusing and mysterious as possible. A note of thanks for sticking their nose in where it would be better left out....and on and on. Come on casey....send 'um a note of thanks...or hang 'um out to dry.
Nobody will ever convince me that much of their behavior is not done to drum up more and more drama for the benefit of a future movie and/or book, continued interviews (preferably out of state), as well as donations, and hopes of gaining new careers which require little effort on their part. They have one agenda and that agenda has nothing to do with preserving the memory of Caylee, finding justice for her, or even saving casey's sorry azz.

What do you mean by "a whole group of people can suffer for the actions of a few"? Do you mean family, like the Anthony 3 people family (or whatever can be counted on one hand of George) or do you mean like community people? I would disagree on "beyond the family" on principal. How did your personal example/experience of "one bad apple" impact your perception of ruin, the whole barrel, and how many people were impacted? What is your history with police and how does that play into this case?

I'm so sorry apothecary, I do understand because I'm feeling the same. I tho didn't think it was an accident, but now knowing of the duct tape, has introduced a whole nother emotion into my thoughts and feelings as well.

My bold....YES, YES, YES. Quite a show he tried to put on, even apologized for his "emotion". I wonder how long they rehearsed. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if George's abrupt exit wasn't also pre planned.

The tattoo she got right after she murdered Cayley? She was in partying mood after that. How long were the Anthony grandparents in party mood after confirming that Cayley had been murdered? Was it until George pulled the suicide stunt? When did they stop partying? We know they started when the plane landed (after the LKL show) at the Ritz Sheraton and everyone knew that Cayley had been found near their house. The grandparents partying at the Ritz? What clued us in that Cayley's remains had been found.
Beautiful life ... dead or in jail? Somehow, Cindy's female descendants got it all wrong.
Grandma Cindy knew after the fight on June 15 that she would not see her granddaughter again, but she still went back to work after sniffing her granddaughter's remains and decomposition in the car. Her co-workers had to tell her to go home ... she was spinning it long after Cayley's murdered was reported.

I'm not convinced that they feel pain. You say they suffer? What have they done to help themselves through their suffering? Demand cash for appearance on TV? sell videos of their dead granddaughter? Try to have the law re-written?
I don't feel sad for them. Anyone that could divide up their granddaughters remains, with their daughter's approval, is mental. Turning a loved one into jewelry? Sure - your saw it on TV trendy ... but for real? Exsqueeze me? I can't imagine a world where I wore a deceased loved one on my wrist, in a locket, or where ever I left the remains. Believe it or not I am a very compassionate person, and imagine they do have some degree of pain and loss in their quiet moments alone and away from the cameras. Not to mention fear of what the future will bring....their lives will never be the same or even close. At this time they don't even know when all this will be brought to an end so to speak. But they've made their choices and will have to live with it. As a matter of fact I'm even angry at the A's for making me feel such negative hostile feelings toward them. Normally I would feel great compassion, empathy and pain for 2 grandparents who lost their gd, and especially when their daughter was charged with taking her life. But not in this case. It is shameful how they have thrust Caylee aside for other agendas, and I find that replusive and inexcusable.
Heck I might could even overlook the A's bad behavior the first few days or so, having never been in their shoes, and assuming maybe they acted out of shock and fear....but at some point, they should have gotten it together and realized they were making a bad situation worse. They should have, and could have put Caylee first and wanted justice for her above all else, and still could have continued to love their daughter....but not lie for her, or probably more likely to cover their own arses.
As for the hand trembling....probably out of anger for not getting her way, but also not difficult to fake IMO.
You're right, it's a deep hole THEY have dug, probably too deep to crawl back out of at this late date. Sympathy-ZERO.

There is no understanding it. There is no fixing it. It is dysfunction with a capital D.
Dysfunctional ... at what age should Casey have been removed from the environment for there to have been any hope for her? How about Cayley? The formative years, between 0 and 6 years are important. If Cayley had stayed alive in her family until age 6, would Cayley Marie Anthony have been any different than Cindy Marie Anthony or Casey Marie Anthony???
I wonder what exactly is going on in Casey's head for her to make the choice she did.

Well said counselor, I just hope 101 Spots stayed up long enough to read your response. To paint all attorneys with the same brush in my opinion is an uneducated comment. I know of two other attorneys who post on this thread that I am sure will feel the same as you do and be offended as well.
I will not dis Spots for her opinions and I have also had a bad experience with an attorney, but, I do not paint them all with the same brush. I feel there are way more ethical, moral, integrity guided attorneys than not.
It just seems this case has given us a couple of attorneys that are not part of the ethical, moral and integrity guided.
I am offended for our legal eagles who post here and are so generous with their legal knowledge and opinions.
They are of the ones that do not belong in the same group as JB and BC and it hurts that they may think any of us may be dissing them since I know most of us aren't.
It's as in every profession, there are good and there are bad.
I happen to believe JB and BC are not part of the good group. But, that in no way makes me believe that all attorney's are bad.
Especially our personal attorney's here on this board. They have each taught me so much and have been faithful in their posting's to speak and teach the law. I applaud them all.

No kidding ... chloroforming her child, and then duct tape round and round her head several layers deep? Nasty.
No wonder Cindy and George Anthony didn't want people to know what their daughter did to her daughter. Top it off with a heart sticker and into the laundry bag? sick.
Casey sits in a cell with a plexiglass wall so the guards can keep an eye on her. She's probably fantasizing about a life with Baez, or maybe that's old news and she's hoping an old boyfriend will visit. She seemed to get restless and want to try out the old boyfriends as well as one night stands regularly. Must be time for a new squeeze ... wonder if she'll be just as happy with women, like Karla Homolka?
You're probably right ... reality hasn't even begun to sink in. We'll have to wait 2-5 years after the sentence before she realizes that no one is coming to get her ... until she's almost dead ... thankfully. I wonder how many of the guys that are sending her money are willing to wreck their lives and marry her. Can you imagine a C Marie Anthony IV, delivered by Casey?

They should have, and could have put Caylee first and wanted justice for her above all else, and still could have continued to love their daughter....but not lie for her, or probably more likely to cover their own arses.
As for the hand trembling....probably out of anger for not getting her way, but also not difficult to fake IMO.
You're right, it's a deep hole THEY have dug, probably too deep to crawl back out of at this late date. Sympathy-ZERO.
Great post. I"m the same way.
Greed will do that to you. Sometimes blood isn't thicker than water.

They're all just whack jobs.. Plain and simple.
So whacked ... the whole family.
And yet, they play into the normal reality TV script so well.
Hammers, destroying memorials, complaining loud, rude, and deceptively. It's more like reality TV than reality, complete with celebrity dinners when the remains are found.

No shoes were ever found of Caylee's at the dump site or in the car IIRC..Why would you take a 2 year leave the house and have no SHOES? IMO casey premediated murdering Caylee.. Not so sure she didnt murder her in the bedroom.. wrap her in the blanket making mom and dad think she was a sleep.. walk out with Caylee's dead body.. went back got the hamper and put her in there incase anyone looked they'd think it was laundry .....crap just my mind working over time here.. I have two standard poodles. They want to be floor sweepers with velcro on their backs, but I keep shaving them.
And about that bad Casey Anthony. Hmmm. Seems to me she had it all. Live with mom and dad, don't have to work, raise daughter, lounge around the house all day, eat, sleep, look after pre-schooler (who likes TV), check the net, relax, swim, tan, go to the beach, check in with friends ... what was Casey's complaint again?

I think she was murdered either after an argument (when Cindy was going ballistic about stolen cheques) in the car as they drove away that night, or they went to bed after the terrible argument and Casey decided to murder her daughter the next day after saying good bye to George. The latter seems a little odd. If Casey had cooled off enough to have a normal morning, why did she then go nuts and duct tape her daughter's head? It sounds more like the anger from the middle of a sleepless night, after many sleepless nights, after an argument with mom and driving away into the night with daughter in tow ... possibly without her shoes.

That's a good theory.
When I finally put forth what I think happen, I'm going to raise alot of eyebrows here. But I will say that the duct tape was post mortem. Someone said that duct tape won't stick to decomposing skin. I can't find any literature on that.

[B]They have one agenda and that agenda has nothing to do with preserving the memory of Caylee, finding justice for her, or even saving casey's sorry azz.
Casey sending them a note of thanks :lol:
That cracks me up!
ITA that ALL of the behavior of the Ant's is for their own personal gain.
Whether it be psychologically or financially. Probably both.
They have not only thrown away their daughter and gdaughter, even tho they try and portray a different picture to the world, they have, as you said continued to fulfill their own agenda.
Casey and their continuing words of support and love for her, Caylee and their continued words, actions and behavior for her all lead to what I feel is their agenda.....what I bolded of your post.
ITA that their agenda does not have anything to do with Caylee. I also feel that it doesn't have much to do with Casey.
The Ant's know. They know that their daughter killed Caylee.
They also seem to be knowing of how to try and work the public to glean whatever they can for themselves. To bad (waaa-waaa) this latest move of theirs didn't work out their way. They were unsuccessful in keeping the truth from the public.
They are as sickening as their daughter.
Sorry, I'm angry with them for even trying to get the autopsy report sealed. How dare they even think they could go against the law of Florida and make that happen. Who the hell do they think they are?
How dare they think they are more special than any others in their position. They are not the only ones who have lost a grandchild. They are not the only ones who have an immediate family member accused.
There are so many more families out there who are or have faced the very same thing they are. What makes them think they are so special for the Judge to even think of denying the law and consider their boo-hoo's and their anguish?
I will stop now. Will take a few cleansing breaths to try and rid myself of the anger I'm feeling.

:seeya: OG! Nice to be on board at the same time. Hope things are working out well for you.
I think the heartbreaker for me was to see confirmation in writing that Caylee was ALIVE when the duct tape was placed on her little mouth around and around in layers. I'm having a hard time trying NOT to imagine the look of horror in her eyes as her mother did something so horrible to her. At this point I hope and pray casey did knock her out with chloroform first. Sleep will not be restful tonight which is why I'm still here this late even though I have a 9am appt. in the morning.
Hi back darlin!
Things are still in limbo.
I'm with you totally on this heartbreaker. I'm also trying to get the visions of Caylee being alive as her mother taped her nose, her mouth and jaw while she was alive out of my mind.
The horror of that scenario is killing me. I do pray and hope that Caylee was knocked out somehow. Chloroform, Xanex, Benedryl....somehow. I can't stand the thought that Caylee may have been awake and struggling, looked into her mother's eyes and saw the evil and hatred there.
I am praying that the Lord saved Caylee somehow from that.
You better go get some sleep darlin so you can keep your appt.

Cindy and Casey had the big blowout at night, Casey snatched Caylee up and took off with her, telling Cindy she would never have Caylee. There was rage and anger building, possibly Caylee screaming and crying relentlessly for her Grandma, which only infuriated Casey even more, (that duct tape may have been in her bag since it was borrowed from Amy) and Casey may have shut Caylee up once and for all with tape over her mouth and nose. No doubt in my mind it was an act of violent, uncontrollable rage. The story George and Cindy tell about seeing them on the 16th , imo, is hogwash. They are covering up because of the fight, so making that story up.Just another scenario played out in my mind...

First of all, there is no such thing as the perfect crime.
The only thing I can think of is Casey was on fast forward when she got to the Sawgrass apartments and snooped at Zaneida's application.
That was going to be her story. Then she began to change everything around to fit whatever she was questioned about "31" days later.
The shoes. I have to agree, I think she was angry and (of course) not thinking of Caylee whether she was dressed appropriately or not when she stormed out of the house with her. All she could see is red at that moment. Caylee being a typical 2 year old was upset and crying and couldn't stop. Casey being a typical narcissistic, sociopath, psycho biotch pulled over got out of the car and opened the door to Caylee's back seat and wrapped duct tape around her nose and mouth (full of rage) she then got back into her car and drove around with no place to go. Caylee dies from lack of oxygen.
The duct tape. Hmmm. I don't have a roll of duct tape lying around in my car.

I'm wondering now if George or Cindy (or both) knew there was duct tape in the glove box or on the floor of that car that technically belong to them. Why is Lee so quiet now. Has anyone heard anything about Lee. For a 3-some who was all involved in the beginning it sure does appear that Lee has walked away from his mother and Father's Idiosyncrasies, too.

It's pretty obvious by the no looks in the court room there is something going on between George, Cindy and Casey. Perhaps Baez told Casey her mom and dad will put her on that table with the final call if they continue doing what they're doing. The media, talk shows and press conferences. Every time they appear anywhere they keep digging Casey a bigger hole.
And Brad Conway. He sat up there on LKL ( I believe it was LKL) and stated there was NO duct tape wrapped around Caylees head when they were discussing how the media has interfered and the gossip that has been out there.
They are all looking pretty bad since the autopsy report was released. Just sayin.

This is the scenerio I have kept in the back of my mind. My only addition is I think that one of the secrets the family keeps is that tape was what Cindy used on her kids to keep them quiet. The heart sticker was Caseys' last "kiss" to her.
I do have duct tape in the car; it can fix anything. Putting it on anyones mouth is unthinkable as it will stick so tightly. I had thought there was only one piece of tape but the autopsy report said several. My guess is that Caylee pulled the first one off and so many were put on and that is what sufficated her. Makes me cry to even write that.
Poor baby, seeing the two 'mothers' fighting, being drug out of the house by a hysterical KC and because she was upset her mouth was taped. My guess is that is the 'accident' that Jose said.

I had never listened to the video of little Caylee and her Great-Grandpa he is singing to her I always just heard her singing you are my Sunshine wonder if he taught her that song.:crying:..she looks so much like her GGP she sure got his eyes..how could she take her life one day after this video I think it was jealousy and she wanted it to always be about her..JMO..and GA wanted to say in court the release would bring her GGP more grief well they can thank KC for that..

What they need to do is admit their daughter did this to them no one else and stop all their crying over this cause if it was not for their daughter they would not need to be in court to try to keep autopsy reports sealed and so on..WHEN WILL THEY GET IT..they will never save KC they are only helping in nailing her coffin if you ask me..and LOL they will never be like Klass and Walsh and Mark Lunsford so they might just wanna give it up..when the circus of Haleigh's case does not want them around that speaks volumes to me...
KC COFFIN hammer Mommy and Daddy helping her out wonder if she will thank them for their help when she hears GUILTY:tonguewag:
It seems to me Cindy had full control of Casey up until she was arrested (except for one very important factor) and that was getting Casey to tell the truth for once in her life.
Since they are hated so much by the majority of the population, I don't blame Haleigh's parents for not wanting Cindy and George near their circle of help in finding Haleigh. They are nothing but a huge distraction and they want to be taken seriously. In addition, Caylee was murdered by the hands of her own mother. Totally different story, here.
For sake of embarrassment to themselves they backed off but said, if there was anytime they needed, they know they can call and George would come running.
