"The nonpartisan Pew Research Center reported Thursday that a majority of Americans — 55 percent — are optimistic that Obama will eventually reduce the budget deficit. But that's a smaller slice than the 61 percent of people who approve of him generally."

61% to 55% is meaningless in my opinion. Its like the Governor. These are the only two politicians in America, Governor Palin and Obama who can command this kind of attention.

So what you're saying is that BO really has no idea about what's going on in the Economy, in spite of his continual preaching on the subject?
Who's to say that the Economists that he relies on are any more reliable than those Bush relied on?
Funny that you kind of chuckle about a "few trillion more" in debt but frightening that his "Economists" seem to feel the same way.
And tell the couple of thousand auto dealers and their tens of thousands of employees who no longer have jobs how much BO has "helped".
 We know that obamas stimulus package did not work and no jobs were created or saved so his economic plan was pretty much a failure I'd say.
