Yeah. Yeah. I know. :tonguewag:

I took 2 of my dogs to the vet this morning and got there early cuz I had a few minutes to kill.

Somebody had dumped a big box in the middle of their sidewalk - with a cinder block on top.

I peeked into the box and there were 4 kittens inside.

Anyhoo.........I fell in love with the runt. She was shaking so hard and crying so loud that I could hardly stand it.

She's barely 8 weeks old. Solid white. She has 1 blue eye and 1 green eye.

She's getting de-wormed, a nice flea bath, ear mites treated and THEN she'll be ready to come home. Probably Monday.

I've run out of names and could use some help on this one.

TIA!!

Awwww Noah! How darling! You are such a sweet animal lover! I would have kept one too!

hmmm, I'm not that great with names! My little one named both our cats...Rosie, and Daisy. If we got another one she'd prolly name it Tulip or something LOL

Ya gotta post pictures! Wait....I think I am still waiting on pictures of the last one

You could name her Snowy. Or maybe Frosty LOL

Name her Hound - short for attention hound. A fun name in a house with dogs.

Squeaky wheel? Squeaky for short? She sure got the grease!

I've named most of my cats for a personality attribute - one Eliza Doolittle because of the incredible range of sounds she can make, one Plummet (Plum for short) because she's an incredible leaper who took a leap from my shoulder as a tiny kitten.

I once had a solid white cat with a blue and green eye! This was many years ago. She was actually a stray that we think lived nearby, but took up at our house because we loved and fed her. SHe was the sweetest, smartest, best cat in the world! It would take too long to tell you what a great cat she was. She had better manners than most people I know! LOL. I'm not kidding. My mom started calling her Snow White. I wasn't crazy about the idea, because I like more original names, but the name stuck.

Regardless of what you name her, I bet that cat brings you much joy. Everytime I see a white cat I think of Snow White.

Decisions. Decisions.

We've lost our minds. Every time one of the cats comes over to us we say "Are you going to like your new sister? Her name is "xxxx"?"

Then we go "Nope - that's not the name we're looking for."

The search continues!!

P.S. We already have a Rosie. :tonguewag:

Our baby was snow white when we rescued him about 7 days old. He is a Siamese and is no longer white. But he is our Squeaky! A real character.

Suggestions, Cindy or Lucky Lucinda. Cause she is darn lucky you are bringing her home and she is gettin such good care.

When I was a young girl, we had a huge willow tree on the side of our house.

On hot summer days, we'd put a blanket under the tree and look up at the blue sky.

When I think back to those days, I can still see the green willow tree and the blue sky and I have such wonderful memories of that time in my life.

So - since the kitty has 1 green eye and 1 blue eye....

Her name is now officially Willow.

Name her Jabber. I named a cat I had several years ago Jabber after much searching in the dictionary for the perfect unique name.

I'll never use the name again so you can have it.

Great choice!
Willow is a beautiful name!

Arrived too late to offer my names....
but
... they were Pearl because she is white
and TeBlanc since she was a white runt.

Enjoy!
I miss having a kitten. :crying:

Oh I didn't see she'd picked a name. Yes I love Willow too.

Whatever name you choose will be perfect, Noah! If your mom was fond of kittens, Daisy would be very appropriate! But Willow and Cotton are darling, too!

Congratulations! It will be fun to watch the dogs with their new little sister.

Looking forward to hearing the reports!

I had to take 2 more dogs to the vet this morning (yes, June is DOG month at the vet), so I took a couple of itty bitty kitten toys for Willow, her 2 brothers and 1 sister.

It'll help keep them active and happy until they all go to their new homes.

I love my vet. Even tho somebody dumped these 4 kittens at their office, she'll care for each one of them until they find good homes.

I just got back from visiting with Willow. We spent about 30 minutes in one of the exam rooms. She got bored after about 10 minutes and was ready to go back & terrorize her brothers/sister.

She had a (flea) bath today, so she's all fluffy and clean. Her nails had been clipped, thank goodness.

She's being treated for ear mites and needs a feline leukemia test.

Looks like our "Welcome Home, Willow!!" party will be on Tuesday.

Willow's Home!!

I picked her up this morning. She's negative for feline leukemia. Her ear mites and fleas are gone. They gave her another little bath.

She's as cute as a button!

She's all comfy in the "guest room" with the doves, who she finds fascinating (but she's kinda scared of them). :tonguewag:

She's surrounded by toys, has a basket with a little blankie, a kitten litter box and new food/water dish. Turned her nose up at the kitten food and looked at me like "THIS is NOT what I've been eating at the vet office!!"

They were giving her kitten food, but also wet kitten food for weight gain. I'm only giving her kitten food, but no wet food. She's  about that!!

I check on her every 30 minutes or so. She's sound asleep in her basket right now. She had a busy morning playing with all her new toys and exploring the room.

I just love her!!

Ooooh - gotta get some pictures.

She is a pistol!! She's in our bedroom now - she graduated from isolation. We have a baby gate in front of the door, so the older cats can jump over it whenever they want to, but she can't get out.

She's showing off with her toys and they're all monitoring her skills.

I bought her more toys today - like we don't have enough in this house. But she needed a new collar, so I thought just a couple of little toys would be okay. :tonguewag:

She's a busy, busy girl.

Healthy, happy, loved.

Funny you should mention her climbing skills....

I was drinking coffee this morning and all of a sudden the dogs went wild.

Miss Willow had scaled the baby gate and was getting a doggie bath. LOL - she was sopping wet and VERY happy to get back on the other side of the gate. :tonguewag:
