OHHH, well, in that case G & C need to wear Lavender for the rest of their lives!!!
Or maybe black, as in mourning:unsure:

And even in the doorway, she's tugging and fussing with her shirt. And it was a baggy shirt at that. Must be one of her many disorders. :tonguewag:

I wonder how Dr G feels about the autopsy report being withheld (for now). Under the laws of the State of Florida, that's kind of a slap in the face to her hard work and HER quest for truth for victims.

Well, it will come out at trial, so I suppose she's not all that concerned; hopefully, next week Judge Strickland will rule on the side of the media and the autopsy report will be released.

If that doesn't happen, I think we should create a petition ourselves to release the autopsy report under the laws of the State of Florida.

I think she's used to legal maneuvering Crimeq. Autopsy's are often highly contended legal documents. A lot of freedom and a lot of money and a lot of honor on the line with autopsies. Not to worry.

(Good to see you this morning!)

That's what I assumed too, Sun -- that it was "shamrock dressing" to support Casey. It was just interesting to me to learn that green is the color for missing children, and wonder if Cindy knew that too, and was doing double-duty with all her green tops.

It's an interesting thought! I just learned today watching the NB funeral video the significance of 'green'.

So true! If it is Dr. G's opinion that Caylee was murdered shortly after she went missing on or around the 16th of June, I think that will point to Casey being the one responsible for her murder. Why else would the nanny kidnap a child (whom she apparently loved very dearly) in order to teach Casey a lesson, just to almost immediately murder her? It just doesn't make any sense. I think the autopsy could very well show or at least strongly suggest that Casey, and only Casey, was the one that murdered Caylee. I think it could strongly suggest that w/the timing of the murder. So, of course The Anthony's don't want that information out there in the media because it will just make the general public even more repulsed w/their murderous daughter than we already are.:sneaky:

Good morning, friends. :seeya:

Good Morning Dells! ITA. It made no sense to LE, and they knew that before they even interviewed the princess face-to-face for the first time. Then they hear this off-the-wall BS story, and lest we not forget, a story subject to revision at any time by the PRP. She was really trying to sell this story hard by the way... even after LE punches holes through it so big an Abrahms tank and a battalion of men could get through, one month later she calmly blurts it all practically word for word to the DCF investigator, with her stupid mother sitting there calmly, who would imo, wins the "The Stupidest Parent in the Universe Award in the History of the world and mankind" by a landslide.

By the time she had finished trying to weave it all together it leaked - it leaked like a sieve. Not Casey's fault. The script is all wrong. Remember, this was "scripted" by Zanny and those other people on Zanny's team. So, in effect, Casey was being directed by what to do and what to say.

And Cindy and George, once they got involved with their team of "highly trained investigators, guys like Dominic Casey, Dennis Milstead, suddenly know these people have moved Caylee around nine times Does the idea ever occur of passing this information to LE so that they can get a qualifed SWAT team out there, and rescue the kid. No. The Anthony's are using high-tech surveillance methods. In other words, the investigators from Team Anthony have people on-the-ground. They've got people watching the PERPS.

Right. When pigs fly. This story right from the start, has been nothing but BS. BS. BS.

I'm surprised I didn't hear the words CIA uttered. I really am. Because, once the CIA gets involved, well, it's goodbye Caylee. Right?

I'll bet you she has her nose in the law books. She's reading about the insanity defense. She's going to be an expert. Who needs school?

And smiling, grinning -- yep, not a care in the world. She really believed she was going to walk away from this.

And that still makes me wonder if the whole thing wasn't scripted early-on by Cindy -- Caylee died, and Cindy said, don't worry, we'll take care of it. And Casey believed that would happen, because they always cleaned up her messes.

I just cannot imagine anyone in Casey's position looking so unconcerned!

I think she still imagines she'll walk away. Remember this little tidbit from Nancy's show last week? :scared:

GRACE: To Natisha Lance, our producer who`s been in Orlando since the get-go. Natisha, isn`t it true that she alleged has stated to jailhouse guards that she wants venue moved to Miami so when it`s all over, she can go straight to the beach?

NATISHA LANCE, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: That`s also according to this report, Nancy. She is saying that she wants the trial to be moved to Miami so that she can go to the beach, work on her tan once this -- if this trial does go to Miami.

I have been reading periodically and noticed how easily I was replaced on the road trip :sneaky: Imperfect huh

Anyway, the Holmolka's were not really treated with empathy at all. The whole "deal" sucked and resulted because Bernardo's lawyer at the time did not disclose the location of the tapes and even after an inquiry was not disbarred

There was talk that the plea deal included that the parents had to support Karla so the public wouldn't be further outraged but I don't think her father was ever on board and she is not welcome in the community.

I hate her and think she was equally responsible as Paul and should have been declared a dangerous offender and never see the light of day.

Part of her plea deal was if anything came out after that she was involved in she would be prosecuted but Jane Doe came forward and her sister's body was exhumed but no charges were brought forward.

The difference in the case of the A's and the Holmolka's was they spoke to the media very little and the media didn't court them as though they were celebrities imo.

Second all time fav is the last minnie pc the defense team gave on the courthouse steps and she made Todd Macaluso run away like a frightened little girl.

For heaven's sake, my daughter moved six months ago 8 hours away from home and I'm honest to God having a terrible time of it because I miss her so much! But, Casey will never see her baby again and she has no emotion other than pulling and fretting over her t-shirt!

Also, G&C, those two are a real pair! They supposedly loved Caylee so much, bull....I do have a very random thought though.....when this is made into a TV movie, and it will be....I think Meridith Baxter Berney (sp?) is a shoe-in for Cindy. Don't know about the rest.....but if a book is being done, then a movie will be too.

Also, I appreciate the "a year ago today," posts and all the effort entailed to track that info.

I knew Karla's deal sucked and sucked BAD, but I didn't realize they (the public) held the parents... "responsible" is too strong a word, but close. There was no law that made this deal acceptable at all, just a total blunder on the Crown's part but great sensitivity was shown to the victim's families and the H's were not considered victims.

I doubt a deal like that will ever happen again in Canada. I can't believe that the A's haven't backed away from the media just out of fear.

The H's did not want Karla back to their home after she was released because they feared for the safety of the family and possibly Karla but her mother was the only one that went to see her in Montreal after her release.

I believe that they knew way back in June/July of 2008. They didn't want anyone to "know" back then either. They DROVE the car home from the towyard, when they should have immediately dialed 911. (I'm not really convinced that this is the first time that they KNEW).

I kept waiting to see if LE would find something that would cause them to bring Cindy or George back in for questioning, however it seems as if the evidence collected must have pointed to only one person. And that person is Casey.

Sorry for this out of sequence post. I am playing catch up here....

I am not sure whether that they were able at that time to acknowledge the possibility that little Caylee was dead and that their dtr was most likely murdered by their dtr Casey.

Havent you ever "known" something in your heart but could not bear to think or say it out loud? (I think this is also a psychological defense mechanism..repressions???) Anyhoo..... Maybe it was too horrific then to acknowledge and continues to be a block for them in coming to terms with the death of the baby at the hand of the daughter.

Its simply less painful to deny the reality and instead of quietly sitting the case out....they are becoming involved as Casey's advocate. Covering for her is an old family pattern.

Gin ---just my opinion.
I am just beginning to finish reading all the stickies and posts, catch up with the personalities on this board and feel comfy posting.

Hi all.....looks like the road trip to FLorida is in the planning stage. I have a dtr and son in law in the area so count me in...

My son in law is interestingly in the same age group as Casey, Lee and their friends and has some insight into growing up in the shadow of "the Parks" as they call Disney, Universal, Sea World et al. He grew up in Oviedo which is North of the Anthonys . Its a suburban lifestyle that is somewhat jaded. Lots of cheap seasonal work, pool parties around cheap apt. complexes, drinking, drugging and just hanging out. If your life is half way together, you might go to College of Central Fla. or some community college. There is usually minimum wage jobs at the parks or restaurants that cater to the tourist industry. Not a lot of sophistication or curiosity about the upper 49 states and my s in law has never seen snow except on TV.

I would imagine its hard to imagine that one of their peer group has been involved in the murder of a child. That she took her lying and manipulations to a wholly different step and thinks she will get away with it.

I notice you guys refer to the H/B case as the epitome of legal catastrophe much as we do with OJ's trial. I see reference to the H/B trial all through the thread for Tori, for example. (They haven't found her yet?)

I must say, I'm so damn cocky Casey is going to get what's coming to her, but I will NEVER be completely relaxed again after OJ, (but I'm at 99% on Casey).

(The squirrel is cute, huh?)

Legal catastrophe doesn't even come close to what people felt. There was a gag order here and the internet wasn't really used so I really think (hope) a sentence like that will never happen again (Poor Tori :crying:)

I really think Casey will get convicted but I get my moments when I really worry that she will only get a manslaughter conviction or something else that lets her out at some point.

Love the squirrel !!

Sorry, I meant the video clips (not the entire funeral) on the local news (fox detroit link) and I did see our jomomma ~ she said she was at 1:15 of that link, right? The reporter said the green balloons were for all missing children.

Gin...JMO:rolleyes

"When the buffalo battle in the swamps, its the frogs that pay".-old Chinese saying..

Interesting perspective, ThisBe ... thank you!

I lived in Vegas for many years, and I always believed the lifestyle was very much colored by the "industry," in that case, gaming and all it attracted.

I think "jaded" would actually be an improvement in outlook for many Vegas locals, lol.

They've gone out of their way, via Michelle Bart, to let all us fat, lazy, blogging maggots, parasites and leeches (FLBMPLs) know they are not, NOT involved in Tuesday's event.

It is my fondest hope they will stay home and not, NOT create some sort of distraction to take away from the remembrance of Caylee at JBP.

With that said, I will not, NOT be surprised if they pull some stunt.

Again, I am jumping in right in the middle of things without being able to read all the posts.

I wonder if Casey and Cindy were planning to kill George. Then Cindy would be free of him. Cindy would probably move out and let Casey take over payments. I wonder if something went wrong.

I wonder if Casey will implicate all the people who helped her cover up this crime.

Tomorrow will be the day, one year ago, that I believe Caylee died. Boy, when I look at her pictures it just saddens me.

Cindy is so possessive of Caylee and all the maggots, leeches, and fellow parasite's memory of her, which she cannot own or control.
Don't forget she has already "hosted" one official semi-public event for the humbled masses, the ones with only the purest of hearts.

Out of lurkdom:

This is the first time I've viewed this clip, and Casey IS STRUTTING...this young woman never ceases to amaze me.

Back to lurkdom...

IMO there was no blackjack, just like the nanny. Even if there were a blackjack, if it was the same number it makes no difference. IF the BJ existed all calls would be on her bill. Another stupid lie by the OC. She was so used to lying to her parents and they believed her. She thought when she said she talked to Caylee at noon, they would drop the investigation. I don't think anyone knows for sure, iluv. Seems like they'd have to, but then again, can't imagine either the pros or defense would want to risk it. If we ever get a line on the defense's strategy, it might be easier to figure out where the A's fit in.

Speaking about colors favoring Cindy or people being 10's, I recall when I first saw Casey and Cindy at the beginning of this whole story. I thought they were very good looking people. I even thought George and Lee were good looking people. But as time went on their actions destroyed what good looks any of them had. Casey's physical appearance especially is looking very ugly. Cindy too began to look pretty ugly soon thereafter. George's appearance soon began to take on the "ick" factor. Lee still looked pretty good until the memorial service. His "CMAs" and slobbering all over his wrists caused me to see nothing but creepiness every time I see one of his pictures.

It's so strange how actions can influence people's physical appearances.

Good grief, I was looking at a series of photos of celebs who've gone under the knife or otherwise injected, puffed, nipped, tucked, etc.

If this trend keeps up and regular folks continue to follow suit, we are going to be Freakshow Nation before too much longer. Anyone who thinks all those cosmetic procedures leave a "natural" look, needs to look again.

It won't be easy to read. But it needs to be said. The truth needs to be told. And not the "truth" the A's have been telling.

On that note, I shall bid ya'll good-night.

Glad you're home safe and sound, Pooh.

See everyone tomorrow. :seeya:

She wants to work on her tan?! :w00t: OMH That girl has totally lost her mind!!

She's most definitely delusional. If she thinks she is getting out of jail/prison any time soon, she is very much mistaken. Her life as she knew it is effectively over, and she will never have to worry about working on getting a tan ever again, unless she gets put on a prison chain-gang and gets assigned to work outside that is. I wonder if they even do that type of thing in the Florida prison system?

LOL here! (Perhaps think of the casserole being a pork cheezie pie. Does that help?)

Nope, doesn't help me. :blushing:

Let's put it this way. She might've worn green in solidarity for all missing children (since that is, after all, the theme of the fundation, even though Caylee wasn't missing ... but I digress), but imo, she wouldn't have worn it if she didn't think the color flattered her.

Cindy wears the color green for one reason only, to show her never ending and undying support of Casey. The fact that it also represents missing children is either a bonus for her or a nuisance.:sneaky: She'll probably like it if it helps her get more money for her foundation.

I'm not sure, but it's rather scary how so many of us can start quoting the OC and Cindy at the drop of a hat. :scared:

Keep in mind this latest "source" is talking to the National Enquirer. Pass the salt shaker.

So true! It's more like pass the block of salt instead of the salt shaker though. Although, whether true or not, it is something that I can definitely see Casey saying/thinking.:sneaky:

Bolding mine....

I so agree w/your post. I definitely believe that beauty comes from within.

I just loved this line! Told BF and he looked shocked, then laughed -- and he doesn't get too involved in my "murder board" stories -- but he couldn't believe how far from reality she lives!

Yep, want to cut right out of jail and onto the beach to work on my tan

Now where are those big white sunglasses ....

You would think that Casey's first thought would be to go out and look for the "real" killer.

ETA: I am talking all by myself. Where is everyone? I have no one to comfort me except for myself. Maybe I should bring my laptop to bed with me so I can read it all by myself under the covers, lol......

ITA Impf. The truth needs to come out and justice needs to be served. I might have to let you all read it though and learn through osmosis on the board. Sometimes I just can't do it. I know we're all that way in different ways because this case is such a heartbreaker.

Thanks for the welcome back.

I'm not ttc, but did you know that the mother of 9 month old Daisja has admitted the baby was killed? Sigh.

I am getting so jaded the older I get. I don't believe anything coming from a parent's mouth anymore until LE digs into these cases! I am now one of those who believes first off that the parents are suspects!

OT, I know, but I wonder how many of these cases look at Casey's lies and think that she's getting away with murdering her daughter, so why don't they give it a try.

Annie, I've wondered that too--if they see someone they think is getting away with it, it becomes a model for them to try themselves. All these cases are so, so very sad

I think that most times, the parents are telling the truth. For example, obviously Polly Klaus and Adam Walsh were really kidnapped and their parents were really telling the truth about what happened. (Of course, the police were able to figure this out pretty quickly - no invisible nannies or imaginary jobs were involved.) Sometimes the children are even found and returned to their parents. Elizabeth Smart immediately leaps to mind but there are many other happy-ending cases.

I guess my point is that you can't judge the rest of the world by the crazy conduct of Casey Anthony. She is the "special" exception to the rule.

You're right, Kat, but it just makes me so sad that one evil young woman *could* influence other young women to do what she has done.

Hello there NotDarkYet...

Haven't seen this yet, but I will. Thanks for the link.

Since this case came to the public arena, it's almost like Casey is slowly being fed to the lions. She's upset the entire country because of her lies and the 31 days. People want justice for the little girl.

Where Casey is going, she won't see Casey ever again anyways. She doesn't deserve to see her.

Good early morning to all! Just been reading through the thread and seeing what the conversation was all about...Annie, I feel jaded too...I grew up in small town Indiana where kids could play "slips" and our parents biggest worry was getting us to come in when my dad whistled!

You're probably in bed now ndy, but I grew up that way too. And I was SO blessed that my own children were able to grow up that way as well. They were able to hop on their bikes and take off across the entire town without my worrying too much. If there was a worry, I would call the parents and and get my kids to call once they'd arrived but it was usually in response to my "paranoia".

My kids are teens now, so it's not like it was 50 years ago! Life is just changing too much and it's not getting better!!

Casey reminds me of those girls from high school who fell in love with a guy on the first date to the drive-in...then the next day at school they are already writing the new guys name all over their notebooks and their "married" name, have their kids named picked out, and it's all because they sleep with them the first time they go out! When they get older, their flings (like Susan Smith's co-worker who told her he didn't want kids) become this fantasy future that will never ever work! Tony mentioned wanting boys when he married and Casey got rid of her female child - in her sicko mind she was already planning their wedding and future! Everyone said she was a chameleon who would morph into whatever the guy of the week wanted...so sad for little Caylee....

ITA ndy. When I was that age, I always marveled that my friends and acquaintances could possibly fall in "love" so quickly! I wanted to fall in love for real and not just so I could have a white dress and a marriage. How very sad for the children of these loveless unions. Just so that the parents could feel that they were doing the "next step" in their lives.

This is my first attempt at replying to an earlier post...Lee is so creepy to me...his weirdo laughing at inappropriate times, his meeting in the car with Tony while playing "detective" - him kissing his wrist...CMA CMA CMA...made my head hurt...I also found this deleted myspace page that he wrote to Tara from Michigan...have you seen it?

I agree about Lee's inappropriate laughing, meeting with Tony, CMA (ick)... but I don't know about his myspace. Can you pls share that link? TIA.

What kind of a person would do that NDY? Get rid of your 2 year old for a relationship with a man you just met 6 weeks ago? Susan Smith apparently had a terrible family life and while her actions were heinous she did confess. There appears to be no moral core to Casey, no real person there!

This is what confuses me! If she had truly deluded herself into believing that she was in love with this guy, enough to kill her child, she wouldn't be setting up another guy just in case. I agree Casey and her family require intensive study by a team of forensic psychiatrists.

Kiwi

I agree with you and her friends liked Caylee. They thought she was cute and Tony's text responses on 16th of July indicate his disbelief at her actions, which at that time amounted to not telling anyone about the kidnapping for 31 days. This was prior to the smell of decomposition etc. Other texts in response to hers about missing Caylee showed that even friends of Casey could not believe she had not told anyone for 31 days. Even these kids without children knew that you just don't get on with your life when your toddler is missing.
I hope you are right and that she shows some reaction when her friends give evidence against her, but I won't be surprised if she just sits there... straightening her hair, tugging at the shirt and taking notes. I know by now everyone is asleep and I am ranting but I just reviewed the video clip of her after her arrest on first degree murder!! Chatting and laughing with the FBI agents and FGS complaining about leaks about the grand jury.
Goodnight NDY if you are still up.
