She should be terrified. Beyond terrified. She picked the wrong state to murder her child. They like the DP down in Florida. One way or another, she's going to die in prison. Her little game of stealing from friends, her mom and dad, other relatives, Caylee's piggybank, sleeping with umpteen guys, and being a party girl is over. For Casey Anthony, this is crunch time, and she realizes it's all caught up to her. And it's going to kill her.

I think there is an exception for autopsy photos, not for the autopsy itself. (The Dale Earnhardt autopsy photo issue?)
I'm reading an opinion on W.S. and it seems the police or prosecutors may be able to hold them for investigative purposes but not the defense.

(They have a link from MyFloridalegal but it's not working for me.)
Autopsy reports made pursuant to law are public records which must be made available for public inspection and examination unless exempted by special act. If not exempted from disclosure by special act, an autopsy report may be kept confidential only to the extent necessary to ensure that a criminal investigation would not be significantly impeded and enable violators of the criminal laws to escape detection and apprehension. Documents or records made confidential by statute do not lose such status upon receipt by the medical examiner.
Looking good.

I do believe the gravity of her situtation is beginning to sink in. I also think Ms. Lyon has something to do with it. At this point, the defense doesn't even have a case. The best they can do is become annoying media hounds and trash the state at every opportunity. That's it. They have no strategy, no game plan. Unless, AL, in her passion to save the odious creature from the needle, she can convince her to confess. I have had a hunch this would be where AL would go. Nightmares and screaming? Oh, no doubt. Casey is either going to end up on death row, being assaulted in the prison showers for the rest of her life or possibly to a prison for the mentally insane. Yep that'll do it. Dream on Casey! I don't think the perp feels anything ... at least not for anyone else. I think part of the stone-cold appearance is a practiced tough-chick look she's been sporting since she was bailed out, round 1.
It's quite mature, don't you think? Much like the Grinch grimaces her mother makes, and those odd eyebrow movements of G and Middle Finger.
I often wonder what that's all about. How can this attitude be to her advantage? You'd think she'd want to look sympathetic, broken up, pitiful.
And in her jail convos with the parents: "I haven't cried", etc.

Thx, Sun. I'm beginning to feel hopeful that there is a lot the public has not heard and there might well be details that are very damaging. It's weird because this crime was just as sloppy, imo, as Christopher Coleman's hideous murder of his entire family. All evidence leads back to Casey just as it does CC. I don't get it. You can just tell from listening to all the reports on that case that it is presumed the guy is totally guilty. But with Casey. . . .
Is it because she is young, a woman and good looking? Because she has big ta-tas? WHAT? Why isn't it freakin' obvious to everyone that the OC murdered her child? CC gets hauled to jail and that's that. Casey gets pampered in jail, gets a trillion dollar defense, a quarter of a million dollars from ABC for photos - I could go on and on. It really makes me nauseous. This woman totally killed her two year old baby and she has been treated like a princess! :cursing:

I think this is all an act thought up by Baez and KC to gain sympathy from the jail...If this did happen...she was not sleeping...Baez then can call the jail guards at trial to testify that this happened...all a farce!!!
Kc is a sociopath and could care less...Caylee has long been forgotten.
Casey will LOVE the drunk tank - padded walls, no bed, drain in the center, no radio, no books, no nothing. Jails don't have the facilities to deal with disruptive inmates. So if you are depressed, you are tossed in the drunk tank, if you make a fuss and scream or cry all the time, you go to the drunk tank. If you are going through withdrawals, you go to the drunk tank. If you are combative, you go to the drunk tank. It just doesn't pay to be emotional in jail.

I'm saying I think the motion was filed to benefit the defense case. I think the two of them, Conway and Baez, are operating in tandem, in cahoots if you will -- because I don't believe for a minute that the Anthonys will be anguished over the release of the report.
I think however that it's possible if not likely that Baez' case will benefit by the delay. Casey will benefit, that is.
And since Everyone's Goal is to Save KC Anthony's butt, Conway helps our "young Hispanic attorney" out whenever possible.
Like this motion which causes another delay. I don't know why Baez wants a delay, I have my ideas, but he wants most things kept out of public release, and Conway's motion on behalf of the Anthony Duo accomplished this for Baez.
Probably Baez didn't want to be the one to file another motion asking for more evidence to be sealed because he's already got that tape in question, and that's causing lots of speculation. He doesn't need more speculation.
So Conway deflects the attention to himself and those Anthony people.
I sooooo agree with your theory, Tuna! (bolding mine)
Can it be this easy to figure out these people? Ugh! Hope Judge Strickland is finding it as simple.

I doubt seriously there are any bombshells. We know the conclusion already, it might discuss in detail the amount of flesh that is remaining on the body (if it were not totally skeletonized.
I have the autopsy report (summary) on Conner Peterson. No details tho. They came out in the trial. Autopsy summary said full term fetus fully developed. However, in the testimony it was stated that because the skull plates were not fused and were slipping, the face appeared collapsed on one side. It was very different from the "perfectly" formed child that the defense tried to make us believe. It's no wonder they didn't want the autopsy pictures shown.

Totally frustating! I have a feeling that there is evidence so damning that the judge ruled to not release it in order for Casey to be assured of a fair trial. The more damaging evidence that is released the more big of a bombshell which means media frenzy nation wide. Even people who are not currently paying much attention to the trial might pick up an ear.
Can you imagine the headlines of the Florida paper if Casey's prints are on the duct tape or the tox report indicates a lethal amount of chloroform. The maggot report would be an interesting tidbit for the public - just gross enough to capture everyone's attention while also totally disputing the rediculous pizza theory.
I tell ya, when AL gave her pc the rest of the defense stooges were exhibiting absolute panic. No confidence whatsoever. None. I think it is because they know Casey did it, the evidence is so damning that there is virutally no chance of winning the case. The DP probably looks inevitable at this point. Enter AL. And we have no idea what is happening behind the scenes with her and the OC. Unlike her fool counterparts, she is on a mission. So now we have Casey screaming with nightmares, basically exhibiting signs of a breakdown. Is this occurring after many hours of "reality therapy" with AL?

Great post !!

Thx Sandy. You are probably right but I hope not. That's really sad a sad report. Now I'm wondering what was wrong with little Connor's face.

I'm not an attorney, so my understanding may be skewed. But my understanding of the FL Sunshine laws is that all evidence released by the SA's to the defense can be released to the media at the media's request. Some evidence can be sealed by the court however, such as the autopsy photos and the reason for that is self-evident. It seems that an attorney can request the court seal from the public eye any evidence, for example, the jail video requested by Baez. And now Conway has requested the autopsy report to be sealed. The judge has yet to rule on these motions. IMO, a lot of the information, documents, reports, etc. have not been released to the public yet because LE is has not completed their investigation concerning them. I don't think they're obligated to turn them over to the defense until they've completed their investigation of them. I'm not aware that they have any kind of deadline on when they must finish their investigation of a specific piece of evidence. Anyway, this is my understanding of this and I may very well bed wrong. (I have been before.)

It's ridiculous, imo. The Anthonys don't have to read a word of any evidence they choose not to.
This is another ploy, imo. The A's want desperately to continue the ruse Caylee suffered some not-to-be-discussed "terminal event" brought about by some not-yet-identified perpetrator. Bee. Ess.
I'm telling ya, the House of Anthony is full of Peter Pans. No one ever grows up.
If you think about all their behavior and the things they say, and then think of a group of defiant adolescents, it helps with context.

I'm reading an opinion on W.S. and it seems the police or prosecutors may be able to hold them for investigative purposes but not the defense.
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3860226
(They have a link from MyFloridalegal but it's not working for me.)
Autopsy reports made pursuant to law are public records which must be made available for public inspection and examination unless exempted by special act. If not exempted from disclosure by special act, an autopsy report may be kept confidential only to the extent necessary to ensure that a criminal investigation would not be significantly impeded and enable violators of the criminal laws to escape detection and apprehension. Documents or records made confidential by statute do not lose such status upon receipt by the medical examiner.

I wont mind if the autopsy report isnt released....we can continue to discuss the 'what if's' which seem to enrage her more than the facts of this case.....because Cindy doesnt accept the facts......she prefers to remain in Casey's chaotic junky little world.....
oh wait, BC did mention the endless suppositions.....which did cause me to LAUGH OUT LOUD......documents with findings are released.....Cindy is enraged (oops, checks forged in Cindy's name for starters)......documents NOT released which causes debates and I must say very high quality dialogue, Cindy is enraged......

You're in rare form again tonight. Great post Pru.
I don't think she's in anyone's world but her own, and the last time I saw her, she looked like she was growing weary of that. But wait and see. Even though she's desperately trying to stay in Casey's chaotic little junk world, Casey tossed her out along time ago. They just don't get along. Remember the jailhouse video? Casey couldn't even control her temper there. She blew up at Cindy. Fists clenched. Enraged. If looks could kill, Cindy would have been dead back in July 2008.
Back in 1984, Canadian born psychiatrist Eric Berne wrote a book called Games People Play. In it he talks about transactional analysis, or TA.
Casey and her mom rarely experienced complementary transactions, or adult to adult communication. It was always parent to child, which when the dialogue started to flow between the two immediately became a crossed transaction. They don't communicate well at all.
In conversations, the PRP play games in communicating. IFWY, (If it weren't for you), SWYMD, (See what you made me do), UGMIT, (you got me into this)... The list goes on and on. And Cindy plays games in conversation as well.
Here is some more information on TA, in case some of you aren't familiar with it. It's a great read.

I doubt there will be any bombshell information in the doc dump tomorrow, but it will be nice to have something more to discuss rather than National Enquirer speculative fantasies. So much of what they print is out and out lies I'd swear they had an Anthony or two on the editorial staff.
Actually, the National Enquirer is one of the few rags that actually researches a story pretty well before they print it. They learned their lesson years ago, getting sued for millions by someone (forget who).
I wouldn't necessarily auto-dish the story just because it's in the NE.

Hi to anyone still here :seeya:
I haven't been here for days, but wanted to check in and let you know I still  you all.
I've been very busy trying to do this house selling thing.
Not only with trying to get things organized and packed, also trying to keep the house tidied as best I can for the prospective buyers that keep trooping thru.
The offer that was on the table at the beginning was recinded.
So now just about everyday there are people making appointments to see the house.
Which interupts everything in our life. We leave when we know someone is coming thru. So we've had to be able to think of places we can go for at least 40 mins up to 2 hrs. It's difficult since we have to take our puppy with us.
It also inturupts our normal daily life and any work we are doing. I hate it. It is so intrusive and altho I know it has to be done, we all feeling very much in upheaval thru it all.
It's gotten the gson off kilter big time, so then we have to deal with his emotions as well as mine and DD's.
We have had 2 days off (no one coming) in the last 2 weeks.
We are all exhausted and emotional.
Since that first offer we have had no other.
Obviously I haven't had time to check in here. I've tried to glean whatever info I can from NG and JVM on what's going on with the case.
I did see that new docs are due to be released tomorrow. Finally!
I also know the autopsy report is on a temporary stay to be released. Dang! I think we could learn alot from that.
Anyway, I would again ask for prayer that someone, anyone will make an offer that will end it all and we will have something solid that will be bringing it all to an end.
We will then be able to really move forward without constant the inturuptions. The ex is supposed to be arranging for a Pod to be delivered so we can move our packed belongings out of the house so prospective buyers can see the house without so much in it as well as not rooms full of already packed boxes. There is soooo much work to do and he also has not come to get his stuff or done the clean up yard work that he said he would do. So now I'm freaking out about that as well.
It must be nice for him to be able to just ignore everything and expect me to do it all! :cursing:
Anyway, sorry for the O/T, but just wanted to let you all know what was happening with me.
Please, please pray that VERY SOON a solid offer will come in. Time is ticking til the date of the foreclosure proceedings and unless we have a solid offer on the table the clock is still ticking on that. If we have a solid offer it will stop those proceedings.
I miss you all and miss posting. Today and tonight I've done as much as I could to catch up, but am still so very far behind and it may be days before I can check in again.
Prayers please and know that I'm praying for you all too.
Hugs and love to you all.

I also believe the Judge was kind in giving them a bit of delay. I do think (could be wrong) that he will allow the report to be released. Photos are one thing...I really wouldn't want to see them...but a written report is another.
If the Ant's think this is going to be such anguish for them, why don't they just not read it if and when it's released?
They DO have a choice as to whether or not they look at the news or get on the internet and see ANY of the discovery.

Sara, I'm not so sure there were NO fingerprints on the duct tape.
IIRC, from previous docs about said duct tape, the FBI only eliminated fingerprints from the other Ant's, George, Cindy and Lee. They never mentioned Casey at all.
I would think they would have mentioned Casey as well if her prints were no where on that tape.
I keep thinking of the places on that tape where Casey's prints, or partials may have shown up...on the ends that were attached to the hair. The ends, where the tape was torn or cut and then pressed onto that area of the head/hair.
Prints may not have been immediatly seen if they were examining the outside of the tape, but on the inside, the sticky side, there may have been prints. The FBI also never indicated that they had finished their examination of that tape. Perhaps by now they have completed examining every inch, inside (sticky side) and out (non sticky) of that tape and have found prints of Casey.
Sometimes it's what they don't say turns out to be the most important.
Since I've not seen anything official...unless I totally missed it...where they said Casey was totally eliminated, print wise, I will still continue to think they found at least partial prints of Casey somewhere on that tape.
Or perhaps, they found epiphelials (butchered spelling:huh:....skin cells-DNA) of Casey's stuck to that tape.
Bottom line, I think that duct tape on lil Caylee's skull holds some kind of evidence against Casey.
