17 year old Cheyenne Cherry throws ex-roomates kitten in oven and turn up the heat leaving it to die.

when asked why she did it, she said " I hate cats", she also said it was just just a a practical joke. WTF?

Wow! I agree she should be punished. But 22 years for a cat? Child sex predators get less than that. Weird.

I signed the petition.

This little serial killer in the making has quite a rap sheet. She held a guy at gunpoint to steal his IPod. She held a lady at gunpoint to steal her dog. (And then had the nerve to have a friend take the dog back to collect the $500 reward!!!!)

She ransacked, rob and trashed a ladies house where she then put her cat in the oven.

I didn't read anything about her facing a 22 year sentence, but maybe she should. What she did is so disturbing.

Hearing things like this just makes me sick! What kind of mind thinks up such a horrible act? That poor precious baby.
This reminds me of the Molder brothers who tortured and baked a puppy to death a couple years ago. They received 10 years.
I hope this waste of life is put away for a long time. :cursing:

I would expect the 22 years is in relation to the burglary and probation violation for the armed robbery. Maximum penalty in NY for felony animal cruelty is 5 years &/or $5,000.00 fine & it only applies to companion animals. Had she victimized wildlife it wouldn't be a felony, if it's a crime at all.
