 Good for Jon, taking on all the allegedly mainstream "liberal" media.
Ironic that the more accurate news comes from a comedian, while the THs continue to pander to the lobbyists.

I think faux is taking the whole right to lie thing to far... then again, nothing stopping them I guess, when people get tired of it, they will stop watching

I think faux is taking the whole right to lie thing to far... then again, nothing stopping them I guess, when people get tired of it, they will stop watchingI wish I could share your optimism. However, people are overextended and deserve entertainment. Sad fact remains, they cannot parse what Fox blasts at them to realize they are not receiving entertainment and news. Mixing news and entertainment is not a time-saver as FOX has no integrity and will never serve that purpose.

The sad thing is that a comedian has the better news coverage of the major networks.

The sad thing is that a comedian has the better news coverage of the major networks. Not unexpected; a comedian with integrity will do better than an organization that sued for the right to lie.
Poor Jon.........his ratings continue to fall:

Who cares about ratings. Jon tells the truth. That's good enough for me.

The sad thing is that a comedian has the better news coverage of the major networks.
As does another comedian, Bill Maher.

A lot more people watch "FAUX" than PMSNBC.
Hooray! Glad to see the real mindset of the RW being written.
To read some of the posts the last couple of days, you would get the notion that any joke about any female was wrong, wrong, wrong. Didn't you know? All women should have been offended over a bad joke. Or was it all decent women should be offended?
But sure enough, given a day or two, the real thoughts return & we no longer have to wonder whether there has been a real change of heart about jokes offensive to women (IOW, that it wouldn't matter if it was conservative or liberal, Dem or Rep, offensive is offensive) - or whether it is just the hypocrisy factor in full bloom.
Question answered.

i liked the fact he showcased all three. and as a regular watcher..i have been happy that he has showcased the times he feels that the obama administration is spinning or talking out of both sides of their mouth. as far as ratings..i dunno. but i can't believe that he has been hosting for ten years. anyone remember wen it first started with craig kilborne? i loved it then...at the time it was not at all political just silly smart stuff. am amazed to where jon has taken it. and that the colbert report..his protege has almost eclipsed him...very cool too.
