Kapoor had an emergency and showed up a bit late. He will likely turn state's evidence when a trial is scheduled.imo

Thanks for the heads up, Dino. The article said that, "... the preliminary hearing would begin within 10 days of Aug 12." More waiting before we know if the Court believes there is even going to be a trial.
Foxglove: What links and information are you using to determine Kapoor would likely turn state's evidence?

I am using the evidence ( some in the list of multiple charges ) which indicates that Dr. Kapoor refused to provide certain medications to Stern and Eroshevitch because he said they would be too dangerous for Smith.
Stern and Eroshevitch administered those medications while Kapoor was in another country. Stern lied in Florida when he said Kapoor was Smith's only doctor. That will play a role in the testimony I think.

Ah, thank you for clearing that up. I guess my take would be no more than an outside chance Kapoor would turn state's evidence, but we'll certainly see.

I agree Kapoor will probably turn state's evidence. I think it's the best chance he has of keeping his medical license when this is over. He certainly doesn't want jail time.
I don't think he feels any loyalty to the other two either.
