Well said.
And I agree with your point of view.
"A better place."
Yeah. I don't know. No one does.
I know that people who, for whatever reason, feel guilty are fond of saying "they are in a better place" of the deceased, because somehow that makes it right to them, and then they can feel better.
Makes no sense to me. They're not here on earth doing what they were theoretically put here to do. Which is live a life.
Caylee by all rights, spiritual and constitutional, was not supposed to see that "better place" for decades down the line.
Her killer messed with the natural order of things, and I hope she pays dearly for it.
Not disagreeing, but, take your pick:
The House of Anthony

Here's what I think is going on with Nancy. All IMO - After the birth of her twins, I noticed a dramatic change in her. She obviously loves her babies hugely. Covering missing and murdered children every day is really starting to get to her. After the birth of the twins, I think she reached an even more profound sensitivity to children and motherhood. she seems beyond outraged to me and highly emotional. My perception is that she is having a hard time not losing it altogether. I think this constant emphasis on murdered children is exacerbating her usal snarkiness such that she is pretty much constantly angry and upset. I sometimes wonder, now that the little Navaea girl probably has been found, how much more tolerance she will have for covering this type of story day after day.
She seems caught between two impulses and is having a hard time holding it together. On the one hand, she doesn't want to have to think about the Caylees and the Navaeas and what if that had been her twins instead of them. On the other hand, she is committed to keeping the children in the news so they don't fall into obscurity.
It wouldn't surprise me if she took her mic off, said I can't do this anymore, and walked off the set.

And when any defense attorney on the panel tries to present a defense point, it's like she is already growling at them before they finish their sentence. She has no tolerance for anyone who would defend the likes of Casey Anthony. That case in particular really did her in, I think.

So, if Caylee is in a better place, heaven one supposes, and playing with butterflies and whatever else one imagines, why don't we all just commit suicide or kill each other so we can be in that better place too?
I believe that instead of feeling so sorry for the Anthonys and their devil spawn, and what they are going through, we should consider what Caylee went through on her way to that "Better place." She might have been drugged, but I don't think so. I think that the duct tape was wrapped around a fully conscious Caylee, that her nose and mouth were obstructed and that she suffocated to death looking into the eyes of her murderer, her mother. Suffocation is a horrendous death. She probably tried to remove the tape from her mouth with her tongue, but of course she was just a little girl and she couldn't do that. After several minutes of struggling, she lost consciousness and died shortly thereafter. Then she was bagged up and tossed like garbage near the Anthonys' home.
A better place? I don't know about that. No one has ever returned from that place to tell us about it. I do know that Caylee is not in this place and her life was taken by a ruthless, uncaring, cruel person. And I believe that anyone who supports her murderer in this and in her aberrant life, is as guilty as she is.
So I gather that at least one poster here believes that Caylee should just be forgotten because she is in that "Better place," and we should congratulate the person who put her in that "Better place." This is absolute nonsense. Whoever murdered Caylee, and I believe it to have been Casey, needs to face the full punishment which humans can mete out. The death penalty. Then she can join Caylee in this "Better place." Why are the Anthonys trying to save Casey from this "Better place?" If they truly believe that, they should help her along on her journey to this "Better place."
Excellent, excellent, excellent. Welcome to the IN Sesssion Forum, MyCharlie.

It was a Did you see me pull one over this attorney and this court proceeding/deposition. Cindy is clueless to what she actually did. While she's ^5ing herself I hope the Judge takes the air out of her sails the next court hearing and has to explain to her very publicly what proper etiquette is let alone the meaning of respect to a court proceeding. Rodriguez is one Judge who's made it clear what is and isn't appropriate behavior.

Hi Evermoth,
Yes, I'm in Florida...about 1 hour away from Orlando....We really haven't heard anymore about a change of venue...but I personally do not think it would make a difference...there are many people in Orlando as well as most any place that do not watch the news...so one place is as good as the next...and with all the publicity that the defense is getting thru their own, I really do not think that a change of venue will be granted....
I agree also, that Casey did not seem to be a person who was concrned about her missing daughter....instead she lied and swore that she had spoken to Caylee earlier that same day....in hope that LE would end any search thinking that Caylee was infact ok and alive....
Casey did everything in her limited mental capacity to try and sway LE away from her missing child.....but nothing worked....thank goodness...
I have to add this to the jury problems. The problem is not finding a jury who has never heard of the case. The problem is finding people who can suspend what they have heard and make their decision on solely what is heard in court. It CAN and HAS been done.

Well you have to remember how shocked everyone was at the original behavior when it was first heard. IMO a juror who hasn't heard of this case will be just as floored if hearing it the first time. They have a lose/lose scenerio either change of venue or not.

That poster wont answer any questions put to her regarding Caylee's murder....she is only in defense of the Anthony's....so either she IS an Anthony or part of "kid finders" put on this board to defend them and knock the media.....
I have never heard of anyone that knocked the media when they had a loved one missing.....ONLY the Anthony's and of course they had their reasons....they are in cover up mode for some time now....and they wont change.....they have completely forgotten about poor little Caylee....sad, so very sad... Those with missing loved ones NEED the media to keep the word out there. That is how the media can help. You don't use the media to cover up for someone. People are not idiots.

I live alone except for my 2 personal dogs and 5 foster dogs (they're small), but I don't live in a fancy house. I live in a 57-year old run-of-the-mill 3 bedroom, 1 bath in a quiet neighborhood. I am widowed and retired living on a limited fixed pension income. I'm also seeing 71 in my windshield. I do whatever I want to do every day. I was a working married woman for most of my life so I'm now enjoying not having to do anything if I don't want to. I don't have to have meals ready at specific times or get up in the mornings to get my kids off to school. I paid my dues so now I'm enjoying the relaxation and quietness and serenity. I love it!

Wow, you are a serious legal scholar. It matters not what the public perception is. It is a matter of the facts in evidence and that in spite of what the Florida Sunshine Law dictates. You can change this venue to Los Angeles, California and the results will be the same. Most if not all of the media coverage will never be seen or admitted at trial. That is where most are diluded. Granted, Casey Anthony is most likely guilty of killing her daughter. She is still entitled to jury to determine her guilt or innocence. What most of you don't understand is that no matter how Casey, Cindy, George and Lee Anthony have conducted themselves makes no difference in this case.
It is purely and simply the burden of proof by the prosecution that Casey disposed of Caylee one way or another. This is not rocket science. Speculate till the cows come home. The facts will reveal the truth and not everyone's nonsensicle speculation of what happened is relevant but what the evidence reveals. Do I have the answer, HeII no I don't. Only Casey knows, and she aint' talkin'.
Talk about scholars. Public perception? Some twist. Highlight the part of my post where I said its all about public perception along with where I referenced George and Lee's conduct.
If you have a problem understanding a post I suggest you ask instead of inserting your view on me.

I totally agree. And yes, I agree, she is very sad. That's what is underneath all of her anger I think. And when any defense attorney on the panel tries to present a defense point, it's like she is already growling at them before they finish their sentence. She has no tolerance for anyone who would defend the likes of Casey Anthony. That case in particular really did her in, I think.ITA she makes me mad sometimes when she want let them talk but I do understand how she feels about people like casey. She has been thru a lot her self and I think she need to stop doing the show it is really getting to her. jmho
