As part of the tournament, there will be a Skins game on Wed. before the actual tournament starts. I understand Tiger will captain one team, and Jack the other. And I believe it will be covered on the Golf Channel Wed. afternoon. I have to double check but I believe around 1PM.

It all should be interesting.

WOW, thanks for the info.. going to check the schedule when I get home and make sure I set the dvr.

While I am excited about seeing Tiger back in the mix, my mind keeps creeping to Amy Mickelson.. I truly wish her the best.. she is so young and I am glad that Phil is taking the time to be with her.. golf is just a game.. he needs to be by her side now. Hope everything works out well and he's back soon.

Here is a link to a video about it:

I couldn't agree more with you about the Mickelsons. The pink out on Saturday was so moving and bless David Feherty he is one of a kind. Hopefully they caught the breast cancer early, and together they will fight it. I can't help thinking of their three children, this must be hard for them too. Scary.

Just read on Comcast, that Lefty will play next week at the St. Jude tourney and then play in the US Open.. but this is unconfirmed from a source that wants to remain anonymous until Phil makes a statement.

They have put off any surgery on Amy for at least a month.. which is a good sign I guess.

Praying for the best for her..

He's done with his round now, wasn't a good one. He moved backwards. Other than DiMarco, no one seems to be having a great round so far today. Have to see what the afternoon rounds look like.

I know just noticed the leader lost a stroke too... but we all know how easy it is for you know who to make up some strokes.. lol... I like DiMarco..

Got ESPN open here at work too keeping track of Federer to see if he makes it into the finals... it's 2 sets each right now... My Mom will go crazy if he wins the FO...lol. 92 and still watching golf and tennis like she is on the course or court.. gotta love her.. lmbo

Woo Hoo made it home in time for the final day of the tourney... Tiger is one stroke behind the leader.. and only on the 7th hole I think...

Got to see Federer win his first French Open too... amazing.. friggin amazing.. I was so happy for him and when I called my Mom (91) she was in tears.. 7:30 in the morning and she's crying cuz her guy one his first French Open and now has a Grand Slam... lol. So happy for him.

Back to golf...ohhh leader just got a bogey I think and that will put him even with Tiger... He doesn't need to give him any shots.. this can be brutal... never open the door to Tiger.

Gotta check out the Nascar thread... man.. drove a hour and a half this morning to get home for my sports... Poor hubby... but he was probably happy to get rid of me.

Ooops.. Tiger is back to 8 under and the leader Bettencourt just made a eagle so he's at 11 under. Tiger is just starting the back nine... better get to work...lol.

Eagle for Tiger:thumbsup:

One behind leader.. going on to the 12th hole... god you should of seen his chip.. heavy rough.. right into the hole... beautiful....

He's amazing..

WOW.. Bettencourt is just falling apart... was doing so good and just chunked it into the water.. he's gone from leader to like 9 under but he's going to go lower because of the extra drop he took for the water shot...

Tiger is in the lead by himself... teeing off on the 16th...

Bettencourt and Wilson are down to 7 under...

Great golf....

OMG, Byrd had the lead by two.. he's going to end up with a double bogey.

Davis Love III is on top the leaderboard too... he hasn't been there for a long time.

Ooops.. Tiger's tee off from 16 wasn't what he wanted at all...:scared:

You guys missed a great tourney. Tiger got a bogey on the 16th went back to a tie at 10 under with Love, Byrd and Furyk. Comes the 17th.. Tiger gets a birdie.. and what do you think happened on the 18th another birdie.. had a 14 inch putt.. Jack was at the green to meet him.. two more pairs to come in.. but they are going to have to do something spectacular to catch Tiger... doesn't look like it's going to happen, Furyk just missed his birdie attempt on 17. Only other one is Byrd he needs to close birdie birdie... missed it... WHOA.. Davis love made a 7 on the 18th..ouch.

Looks like it's TIGERS

He won Arnold's tournament and now he's won Jack's.. He is amazing.. coming from five strokes back at the beginning of today..

HE wins.. in Tiger red once again on Sunday.. love it..

Okay.. it hasn't been announced yet..but someone is going to have to make a eagle to tie Tiger at 12 under... ahhhhhhh don't think it's going to happen but guess it could...

It's in the books... #67 win for Tiger Woods... loving it...

I saw that... have the Golf Channel on now. Think I will tape it just to see if they show the trophy ceremony...lol.

A little tidbit.. did you know Tiger is the only player to win both the Arnold Palmer tourney and the Jack Nicklaus tourney in the same year three times... Everytime he has won one in the year.. he's won the other...he's just so amazing to watch:

Loved the shot out of the rough on the side of the green.. everyone said it's a two putter... can't get it out of that stuff... he chops it on armed and goes right in the hole.. ^5 to Stevie...:tonguewag: He just pulls off the craziest stuff... the unexpected.
