Asking for Prayers

Zach was my youngest sons best friend he is having a very hard time because they were suppose to hang out this weekend and we got the call he passed away at 6:04 PM Thursday, May 28, when he lost control of his scooter and slid into a on coming dump truck. I went to school with his father his Aunts and Uncles one of his Aunts are my Doctors Nurse. The community is having car washes and yard sales and bake sales to help in paying for his funeral no parent should have to bury their child we are from a very small close nit town we all know each other so this has effected everyone. I am just asking for prayers for the family and my son who is also 13 and having a very hard time with this..:crying:

A teenager lost his life in a traffic accident yesterday. 13 year old Zachary was traveling on Wells Avenue on his 2008 scooter when for an unknown reason he lost control of his scooter.

Zach laid the scooter down on its right side and slid into oncoming traffic, Zach and the scooter were then struck by the rear wheel of a dump truck.

During the accident he suffered injuries which proved to be fatal, the driver of the dump truck wasn't injured in the accident


Zachary age 13 Ind., passed away at 6:04 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2009,

Zach was born on October 9, 1995

he was going into the 8th grade. He was a member of both the football and track teams. He was a member of the Bowling League. He attended Quarry Christian Church. He loved fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family.

His Father
One Brother
A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Thank you all so much :wub:it means so much to see some care just to say I am praying for these families. Zach will be missed by so many and as I look at all the kids myspace pages they are ALL in shock and hurting they will be going to see their friend laid to rest on Tuesday instead of enjoying the summer with him..I know just what they are going through I lost a BF in the 4th grade when she was muled by a pack of dogs and then in the 5th grade I saw my BF hit by a car and killed as she ran across the road I will never forget those 2 days....

this summer is already ruined. Zachary was my best friend. i can't believe this would happen to him. he was my best guy friend. He was the closest person to me. and i will never foget him. He'll always be in my heart. and i'll always remember all of our times together. i'll always keep his notes, his pictures that he gave me and everything. I wish i could at least spend one more day with him, just to tell him how great of a friend he was, how much i care about him, and how much i love him. at least now he's in a better place with god. and he is happy. i love you zach. RIP.

:crying: I am so sorry for ALL who are affected by this tragedy.

When I was 16, my boyfriend was killed a couple hours after the senior prom. We had just dropped him off at his truck and never saw him alive again, we're not even sure how he could have crashed into a tree just a mile from his home and all just assume he must have fallen asleep. It changed me forever and I never would wish this on another soul. Hug your son, aproudmom, for all of us.
