Warren Times Observer Publisher John Elchert says the ad appeared Thursday. It read, "May Obama follow in the steps of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy!" The four presidents were all assassinated.

One has to wonder how anyone who claims to not have caught the historical connection could be working in that position. They certainly aren't smarter than a 5th grader that is for sure. It truly is sad that there are people who can think this way.

Bait for what?

That's what I was thinking, the OP is from that state where the newspaper published it. The article said, they apologized for not catching it. It was a classified ad.

IMO, this thread is meant to bait, and I am calling you out.

You can't be serious? You post nothing but baits on this board. Why do I call your posts baiting posts? Because you're forever quoting Ann Coulter who has nothing of meaning to say ever.

Snookums provided proof hence, it's called a FACTUAL thread. Your Ann Coulter threads are called OPINIONS because she is far removed from the real world with her rants.

See the difference? I doubt you do.

What do you mean by "bait?"

There are a lot of loonies out there. They have come out of the woodwork every since 11/4/2008.

They call folks "Racists" (and worse) if you don't agree 100% with their faith based agenda.

I've been thinking about this, and think I might have the reason.

Look at the ad. There are no key or incendiary words. Most folks work on auto-pilot on jobs that are repetitious and humdrum. There was certainly no reason to be on the lookout for this type of thing.

It just got through the cracks. These things can happen to anybody--even those who work for their Church.

I've seen some very funny Church Bulletins that must have embarrassed many Church leaders.

Just My Humble Opinion.
