Morning Ckrdpast!
Bringing your post over from yesterday's thread:
i've been watching an old video of George visiting Casey in jail--
if you get a chance to watch it - pay particular attention to caseys reaction at about the 5:00 minute mark-thru about 5:40
it speaks volumes to me-and i just wanna get others opinions on it
http://www.wftv.com/video/18206395/index.html
I think Casey is showing true emotion at that point. George caught her off guard with his comments. Was Casey's reaction in the jail similar? If it was, I don't believe JB would be fighting the release of the tape.
JB has been very quiet the last week or two. Is it because he is concerned over the complaints filed with the bar or has the new DP qualified attorney told him to shut up?

I just noticed in the link above Casey told friends she miscarried Brandon Snow's child on Valentine's Day. IIRC, she said Caylee's father died on Caylee's birthday. It must have been easier for Casey to keep her lies straight if she connected the event to a special day/holiday.
There is also a quote from the party host, Iassen Donov, in the article:
Donov also has a theory about what happened to Caylee.
"I think she killed her kid. I don't think anybody else was involved," he said.

Casey has been accused of being cold and/or showing no emotion over Caylee's disappearance. In the video clip you linked yesterday, I believe when George was talking about Caylee, Casey was showing true emotion.
If Casey's reaction was similar in the jail video, the release of the tape would soften Casey's hardcore appearance to the public. JB can dress her up in the most conservative clothing hoping to show a softer side to Casey. IMO, it will not happen because people will always remember Casey's behavior while "she was searching for Caylee"...

Last evening on either JVM or NG, attorneys were discussing the merits of the Zanny the Nanny defense and how it was totally incredible. Also that a good DPQ attorney would ditch it, as soon as possible. However, they believed that jose was the roadblock that had to be removed first.

Good morning all,
I agree, if Casey's reaction was simular to her reaction in the above tape, there would be no reason for Baez to fight to keep it out...She showed a little compassion for her daughter at that one moment with George.....However I'm prone to think that her reaction to Caylee's remains being found are not that compassionate and rather obviously rehearsed for that moment if it would occur...
Just like she thought thru everything else (but never the consequences) she also thought thru how she would react if told that Caylee's remains were found.....
I hope they release it to the public....so all can see....
I also believe your later reason for Baez shutting up....he was probably told to.....

It makes sense to me.
I agree that is why Casey reacted, but I think JB could twist it and say Casey was reacting to a baby's body being found that close to her home and she feared it was her precious daughter, Caylee. IMO, those that believe in Casey's innocence will see it as a grieving Casey and not a panicked Casey.

That is my therory as well....I believe that she was under the impresson that "no body, no case"....although she was wrong, it would have been alot tougher to convict on muder one without a body.....Which is why the whole family was on a crusade to prove Caylee was still alive (with all those staged sightings).....Once the body was discovered Casey knew it was the end for her....and that would have been the reaction she showed....
This is a woman who partied while her child "supposedly" was missing, who never reported her child missing, who lied to LE about having spoken to her daughter the very day that she was finally reported missing.....(that was her last attempt to try and convince everyone that Caylee was indeed alive), she probably thought that LE would believe her and call off the search....But it didn't work....

ITA Ckrdpast. I think it will be a powerful contrast to show a jury - her nonchalant and cocky "they haven't even found her clothes yet" as she strolls back to her "room" to have another pork rind, when they thought they may have found something at BLANCHARD PARK, exactly where the OC says Caylee was TAKEN from her (second version of her story)....
to the hyperventilating, out of control, "medicate me" reaction to "skeletal remains", not close to being identified yet, being found near the A's home - which is no where near where the OC claims Caylee was last seen. I don't suppose there is video of the first reaction, but there are witness accounts, and I hope that the stark contrast in these two reactions will be shockingly and chillingly clear to the jury.

Of course the Zanny the nanny defense is absurd and totally unbelievable. I can't believe that any good DPQ attorney would come on board if that is going to be the defense strategy. Maybe that is why is has taken the defense team so long to find someone willing to come on board? It will be interesting to see if anything changes in terms of the defense once this new attorney comes on board. If they continue to stick w/the nanny story, then at the very least, Casey will get LWOP, but very possibly could get the DP as well.

Too funny! Reminds me of when my daughter was little and the basketball coach would say "Let's nip this in the bud", and she thought the coach was saying "Nip it in the butt!"
I hope that Cindy doesn't give anyone the Lee tomorrow. :w00t:

I am so waiting for tomorrow and the hearing. I want to find out who this DPQ attorney is going to be. He/She must have had JB finally be quiet, personally I didn't think it would happen. I do have a question bugging me though. Would the new DPQ attorney be able to talk her into a plea and would he/she be able to get her to agree? I mean Lenamon back when he was on the case stated in his 30 page brief that it could have been an accident. Now that JB has been saying for so long that it wasn't because she is innocent and he knows his girl better than anything. Just strikes me with all the silence that it might be possible that the new lead attorney will let her exactly understand what she is up against and tell her this is the way to go and plead out on the Murder 1 charge so she will not get the DP. Or do you think that she is still listening to JB and think she can actually pull this off and get out of jail?

morning des!! cant wait till tomorrow to see what happens in the hearing--also, i'm anxiously awaiting news from Peter!!
I saw Peter's post and I wanted to bring this up. Does anyone on here remember very early on in the case, there was a poster here who supported Casey and said that there was another website/board consisting of professionals, primarily people in the legal profession (but from other walks of life), who believed that Casey deserved the best defense and they were raising money to help her defense? I know I read this on here but he didn't seem to post very long.

You're very brave, missy! What were your questions? Let us know when she replies. You know she will!
Let's see if I can remember a few without looking at my sent mail.
1. Would they have done anything different last June when Casey and Caylee left?
2. Would a conviction convince her of Casey's guilt?
3. Were they concerned that Casey might throw them under the bus at trial?
4. Were they afraid of her when she was out on bond or afraid of her now?
5. I did tell them I was sorry about Caylee's murder, and that even though I don't like the death penalty for anyone, I hope Casey gets LWOP, and that I would go see Casey in jail, not matter what, if she was my daughter.
I doubt she writes me back. My husband is going to kill me when he finds out I wrote Cindy! LOL!

Ckrdpast,
I don't know if you were asking for opinion from a particlar person, But do you mind if add mine ?
I do not see that part of the video as true emotion.
I see it as George's words hitting a nerve with Casey & she is feeling deep guilt. As the conversation continues, it becomes all about Me,Me,Me again with Casey.
Just my opinion
Thanks
yes, Zarina, as the conversation continues it does become *all about casey* again
but GUILT is an emotion-
the question is WHY is she feeling GUILT?
most of us know why-

Good morning and happy early hump day to all thanks to a nice 3 day weekend!
Casey's reactions and comments about discovery and the investigation were caught a couple of times.
The "haven't even found her clothes" was made when Casey was out on bail according to Lenny. It was overheard by one of the people Lenny had in the house. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0811/18/ng.01.html
Drew Petrimoulx of WDBO told NG Casey was watching the dive search Lenny had organized. When they discovered the bones, Casey turned around and went back to her cell with no reaction. http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0811/13/ng.01.html
And the video of Case having a panic attack when she was told about the discovery in December.
Can anyone think of any other time her reactions were witnessed? TIA

I agree with your entire post Barbara. Casey was convinced by various individuals that if there was no body, it was ALL CIRCUMSTANTIAL that she was deceased and most likely she will 'get off'.
It may very well be a circumstantial case as well with her remains, however, there is overwhelming CE to lead the jurors to only one conclusion: she murdered Caylee.
every now and then, for instance, this morning, we see links of evidence as to how she was interacting with friends....Iassen. here is she is chatting about her love life, claiming her nanny was someone she knew for SIX YEARS, pays her alot of money (which she doesnt have, and of course she has no income, no job), talking about her love life, wondering what to cook for dinner......said conversation occurring right before she is located......
these text messages are going to nail her. no doubt about it.
the pros has alot of work to do putting these text msgs in order, leading up to her being 'located without Caylee'......
we still havent seen the entire phone records of Cindy along with Mark Hawkins. nor Mark's statement.
there is alot we havent seen. Im confidant what they do have and not releasing is devastating to the defense.
Baez is, IMO, having a difficult time obtaining DP representation for her, most likely because of lack of funds.
its an interesting case because Casey provided names, places and indepth descriptions to LE and her family of 'the nanny, her family/friends'.....the defense investigators could not locate anyone. the anthonys investigators could not locate them either. because they dont exist.
that is what the defense has to work with....ghosts. and those ghosts are what the pros is going to keep bringing up, that there is no evidence these people existed, and no reason to have a nanny, day in/day out because she was unemployed since the better part of 2006.
and:
-from June 16 on she is sending global msgs to friends about Fusion
-she is there a few days later, friday nite, boot stomping, dancing and posing and having a great time
but most devasting: a few hours later she is at the video store with Tony renting movies. never called to report her missing. went on with her life as if nothing happened.

Casey Anthony's new attorney to be revealed Thursday
*snipped*
Thursday's hearing will focus on several requests filed by Baez. He wants cell phone records, including any photos and text messages, from a dozen people, including Casey Anthony's parents, friends, the meter reader who found Caylee's remains, and the deputy who overlooked a tip.
Some are fighting the request, saying it's too broad and violates their privacy.
The judge will also hear arguments about why the state should or should not release video of Anthony at the jail the day she learned a child's remains were found near her home. Jail officers reported she hyperventilated.
Baez also wants jail officials to stop monitoring and disclosing any communication between Casey Anthony and her defense team

You are so right....the way I see it, is that Casey was arrested for murder one way before a body was found, or ever even thought to be found.....so LE must have had a whole lot of evidence without a body that would have proven that Caylee was indeed deceased......the finding of the body was good to shut all of the defense and Cindy and George up as to all those sightings and will serve as "no room for doubt" in the juries minds.....Because, at the time, the defense was going to be that Caylee was still alive, so all the forensics have to be wrong.....but now all the forensics fall right into place....(the trunk of Casey's car) which leaves no one else to blame but Casey and absolutely no defense stradegy that will hold up....
Any DPQ lawyer that is concerned about his reputation will want Casey to plead guilty....so it's going to be even tougher for this defense team to find a DPQ attorney that will be willing to go along with their ludicrous ideas.....

JB wants the jail officials to stop monitoring communications between him and Casey. Does that include the videotaping?
JB originally threatened to sue anyone involved with videotaping the conversation that took place between him and Casey.
March 11 - http://www.clickorlando.com/news/18901068/detail.html#-
In a court document filed by Baez on Tuesday, he acknowledged the video, mentioning what he called an "unauthorized videotaping of the defendant's counsel while meeting with the defendant," Local 6 News reported.
Prominent local defense attorney Mark NeJame, who once represented Anthony's parents, said it is not illegal for the jail to record visits.
"It might be bothersome, but it's surely not anything unordinary to the extent that routinely all that I can remember in 28 years of jail visits, we're always watched and there's no expectation of privacy in the jail," NeJame said.

I agree with that. You can practically see her spine stiffen at that point.

If I was Kronk I would give them anything they wanted. Not important who he talked to personally. What is important is the phone calls he made when finding the body several times, and LE didn't respond correctly. JMO.
I don't blame him for keeping out personal phone numbers. Baez is looking for reasonable doubt, perhaps he feels he can find phone numbers in Kronk's record that he can use to create reasonable doubt. But Kronk is only involved in this case as the finder of Caylee. He shouldn't have all his personal business thrown out there in an attempt to have fingers pointed at him.

Would you want Baez to have unlimited access to your life and your friends? Trying to make something from nothing to free Casey? Not me. He needs to put some parameters on his request. That's all Kronk and the others are asking for. I think they deserve it myself.

i have some suspicisions about George's phone records--which is tied to Kronks phone records as well..
i guess everyone is suspect to me in this case:huh:
Well there is only one suspect in my mind...."Casey".....I don't believe in this big master mind cover up of a 2 year old child's murder.....I believe the cover up came strictly from Casey's family who are so desperately trying to get her freed....
I can not think of anyone in their right mind that would be doing anything oddly with this murdered child's body.....jmo

There have been rumors about a connection between Kronk and a gal-pal at the jail where Casey is being held. If that's true, he might not want his phone calls to her being publicized.
Maybe he calls a porno site every Wednesday and doesn't want that publicized. Maybe he's cheating on his girlfriend.

I agree that nothing is impossible in this case....However, I believe that if Kronk had done such a thing he would have said so by now.....We must remember, that during that time Cindy and George and Lee were very anti public...they were acting as though they did not want Caylee to be found...they went as far as fighting with Tim Miller.....so I doubt very much if Kronk would have called the Anthony's.....
I believe that Lee either was told by Casey or he figured it out himself and told the PI to go to that spot...Kronk would have nothing to gain by doing anything other then calling LE...which he did...jmo

and des-IIRC, when LP was searching for Caylee at JBP-wasnt it reported that casey was eithering listening or watching it-and exhibited NO EMOTION-if thats the case-IMHO- casey reacting to remains found-that she KNEW were caylee-i think she was reacting to the fact that LE finally had evidence against her....
does that make sense??
I could be TOTALLY WRONG but I THINK that Caseys reaction was because she had already been REASSURED that NO REMAINS WOULD BE FOUND....

All of these CE pieces of the puzzle, that when put together will show a deceitful young mother, with no HS diploma, no future to support herself and her child other than stealing from her friends, her grandparents, and her own's childs piggybank. She was desperate. All she was interested in was the social party girl lets-get-drunk-and-sc*ew life she felt she was missing by having a child. And when that fight broke out on the night of father's day, that sent her over the edge. And unfortunately Caylee paid with her life. It's too bad that Annie wasn't around that night she could have fronted Casey some Xanax, and calmed her down, and quite possibly Caylee would be alive today.
I hem and haw over the actual act though. I had initially theorized that Casey came home on the 16th with Caylee, after Cindy had gone to work. The Lemming see's her leave that day, as he said, and when he went to work as a security guard, she comes home again (reference computer activity at 1400 on the home computer). She dumps the kid in the pool, and starts up on the internet at home. Caylee drowns in the pool, (reference Cadaver dog hits near the pool - reference the ladder out of place. Almost seems believable.
Even if that's what happened, it's the coverup and the lies that will send her to the needle. It's the smell in the car that wouldn't go away. It's the attempted deflections on the part of GA and CA with their supposed sightings in Gainesville and Coral Gables. It's the lack of emotion on Casey's part, or her lack of curiosity at the OCSO when she meets with mom and dad. Never asks about where are they searching, what have they found. It's the fact that she never took a polygraph (she probably would have nuked the polygraph machine). Never tried to at all clear her name.
LE had no choice, and they just followed the evidence trail.

Sheaffer said Baez could've identified the witnesses' cell phone providers during depositions and then subpoenaed the companies' records directly. Instead, he's asked the judge's permission.
"That will force Baez to tell the court what relevance these phone records may have to the defense," Sheaffer explained.
That includes if he's asked for more witnesses' records than he really wants as a way to try to cover his tracks. Baez is also asking for the unlimited, detailed cell phone records for Casey's parents and her brother. Her parents' lawyer says they'll hand them over, but they have no idea why Casey would want them..

And begs the question, why is Baez so worried about Kronk's phone records? Was there talk amongst the defense and Anthony family about where the body was located? Is that why they are so sure someone tipped Kronk off? I personally don't believe the story LP is trying to sell on NG about Kronk and his girlfriend. Wasn't there a reward being offered? the irony being that in the biggest lie of her life, she completely "forgot" about fathers' day.

Kronk nags at my brain.
has LE obtained his records? if they did, I would think they would have went thru his records and if was connected to the Anthonys in any way, remotely, they would have to turn that over in discovery, wouldnt they?
what bothers me is this: Kronk came front and center with an attorney immediately following his name being released. I dont feel his 'press appearance' was necessary.
I have always believed something else is going on with Kronk. IMO.

I don't know, but I can see innocent or unrelated information being released that he doesn't want to be made public.
Or maybe he sends his significant other funny text messages that she will alone will understand and find funny. I shudder to think what people could mishconstrue (pun intended) from my texts to my hubby. Sometimes our texts are simply inside jokes. I say they are having their privacy invaded. Shame on Jose.

Yes it would.:crying: But I don't seriously think that is going to happen. I don't think Kronk got insider information as to where Caylee's body was located. If he did, he wouldn't have waited 4 months between when he first started to look to when he located the body. I think JB is just fishing hoping to find something, anything, that will help his client's case. He can keep looking, but I don't think he will find anything.

My hope is that Casey is convicted and regardless of whether she gets the DP or LWOP we never hear from her again. But I can't help but feel that CA & GA will never let this be over. They will be seeking a means of living. And keeping this case in the public eye and controversial will keep money rolling in. Eventually, I would guess that the $5k a month donors will expect this family to get a life and they will stop sending them money.

I'm afraid if the defence can trace that the body was found because a prison guard overheard a conv. between JB and Casey and the guard called Kronk and he went and found the body. then it can have all evidence about the remains thrown out.
Sorry, but even if the Anthony's told someone where the body was and that person told another and another.....the find of the body will not be thrown out.....all the prosecution needed was a body and they now have it...no matter what circumstances it was found....I have never heard of a body being thrown out as evidence, no matter what circumstances it was found under.....The body is proof that Caylee is in fact deceased.....nothing else matters here....even if the defense was to prove that the body was moved (which is highly unlikely) it would then implicate the family (seeing as they are the only ones to gain by such a move)......the odor in the trunk and the hair with the death band is enough to place Caylee's body in the trunk of the mothers car......That is the evidence that would have been disputed by forensics had the body never been found.....now they have not got that because a body was found.......

I agree. Once Casey is convicted and sent to either DR or to prison for life, the interest will greatly die down. It already has actually. I remember when this forum used to get 2 to 3 threads a day and there was no way I could keep up w/the threads and read everything. I am sure that I missed a lot of interesting discussion. Even the comments on the news articles isn't as much as it used to be. I am sure it will pick up again once the trial gets here, but after it is over it will really die down again. Even now on NG's show she is hardly covering this case at all. She has moved onto other cases that are just as deserving of the attention. I think if Casey tries to appeal, that the case will get some attention again, but not near anything like it is getting now.

Morning Barb.
Maybe Kronk didn't realize that the reward was for a "live" CAYLEE. This case is so widely publicized I am sure there were a lot of people out looking.
I don't buy that story either...infact I don't much buy anything that LP has to say....he wanted to be part of this case so bad he would say anything at all.....
Kronk didn't even want to be identified at first...he was trying to call in without giving his name because he thought his boss would get mad....I believe his story, that he saw something of a suspiscious nature and kept after it......anyone of us on this board and elsewhere that was caught up with this case would have done the same thing.....

[QUOTE=desmom;13141983]I just noticed in the link above Casey told friends she miscarried Brandon Snow's child on Valentine's Day. IIRC, she said Caylee's father died on Caylee's birthday. It must have been easier for Casey to keep her lies straight if she connected the event to a special day/holiday.
Snipped for relevance
Des - the only reason I could possibly disagree with you ( because honestly it makes sense ) is that she couldn't remember to associate the day she murdered Caylee with Father's Day and got the dates wrong. Even the most clever of liars can't rise above their intelligence level it seems :)

Lapis? would love to hear your comments on this!
The key here is if Kronk got the information, where did that information come from? If the information came from the Anthonys then there really is no problem. But if the information came as opined by Lenny, from a jail guard that overheard a conversation between Casey and her attorney then there may be a problem. Any conversation between a defendant and her attorney even if it takes place in a jail is priviledged. If that priviledged information is then passed onto someone else the jail personnel/LE has violated her rights and the remedy may be for the court to exclude the body and any evidence found with it. This is what she has to think about for the rest of her life. What she should order from the canteen today, how she will wear her hair out of her cell, up or down and what color liptick to use. My my my what a life she has created for herself all by herself.
Can you imagine if she gets the DP the decisions she'll have to make about her appearance when they lead her to the execution chamber? I would think waterproof mascara would be a must. Hope they have that in the canteen. Just IMO, of course.

I'm sure the judge will... But Baez shouldn't have asked for an unlimited amount of information in the first place! That is the reason that Kronk and the rest are fighting Baez! It's not that they are "hiding something" it's that Baez is asking for way too much for his fishing expedition.
It's because Baez doesn't know what he's doing. LOL. Can't wait to see who the new attorney is. JMO.

It's the truth...is there anyone connected to this case that has not gotten a lawyer..? Cindy, George, Lee, Jesse, Kronk...the lawyers are going to need lawyers when this case is through...It is really something how this case has blown into this....The bottom line is...a mother murdered her child....and just look at how all Casey's lies got everyone tangled into this web.....it's unbelievable.....
It is unbelievable! I agree that this is just a simple case of a mother murdering her child. How it got to the epic proportions that I did, I do not know. I think it has made a complete and total mockery out of our justice system, and I hope we never see anything like this ever again.

another question for you, Lapis...
if casey shows up in court tomorrow and declares that she wants to represent herself--could this move forward with Baez & company's guidence?
If Casey did that the old adage an attorney who represents himself has a fool for a client would never be more true.
I'm not sure a court would allow her or anyone to represent herself in a dealth penalty case. However, if she insisted and the court was satisfied after inquiry and perhaps another psych evaluation that she was competently making the decision I suppose the answer is yes. Baez and co would be limited to a support role and could not actively conduct the trial.

Any evidence can be inadmissable if found unlawfully.
So how would the trial proceed? That Caylee is still alive and that they have had sightings? This is a murder trial....and the defense was (before a body was found) trying to say that Caylee was alive......So what would be the defense if they surpress the body? As for the evidence found with the body, I really don't think that LE is putting too much on that....because what ever was found with the body could have come from a babysitter as well as from the childs home....
Very curious to know.....

Hi Lapis, hope you kitty feels better....
The only two cases of murder that I heard where the defendant chose to defend themselves was the Long Island RR murderer and the woman who shot her husband (I forget the names)...both were murder cases and both lost the battle (understandably so).....and I don't believe that they had grounds for an appeal......
But I truly doubt that Casey would take that route.......

From reading TonE's interviews with LE, I agree with you. I don't think he knew anything about Caylee's death either.
And the thing about Lenny? I guess we all knew that about him. He is a publicity wh*re, but I still love the guy.

Yesterday, someone posted a link to one of the jail visits between George and Casey. In that interview, George told Casey that what happened to her when they picked her up that day was pre-determined by powers that be, like behind closed doors or something similar--long before they actually got to her (I'm paraphrasing wildly here).
When George was telling her that, he said something about "remember that happened to me too, way back when, in my situation" and Casey agreed, she remembered.
OK. There has been discussion about whether George really retired from LE or if he was asked to. The scenario he's referring to sounds like maybe he was asked to resign.
I suppose the incident referred to could be a result of his throwing his dad through a plate glass window--do we know if dad ever pressed charges, or had George arrested?

My bold. I think the duct tape negates pool activity. My opinion is that the big blow-out fight was not just about money, but probably Casey's desire to go out and party that night. Cindy had already spent the day with Caylee, it was now up to Casey to do her job. Then, there was a "fine, you'll never see her again", a little something to make the child sleep and a little duct tape to keep her quiet if she woke up.

what I want to know is how can they prove what was said if Kronk did
have phone conversations with friends that work in the jail.
They are all employees of the city and I can see someone calling him and saying things such as "I am watching this Casey person right now, or something like you know she has not shed a tear since I have seen her, or boy she looks so young etc.
I also think as another poster already mentioned that if someone overheard conversation between Baez and Casey about where Caylee was that the remains would have been found back in August.
I also was under the impression that a lawyer and client had to be alone when anything was discussed in order to mantain priviledge.
If Baez and Casey were discussing her case with others around would not that be their bad and break priviledge.

My initial gut instinct agrees with your initial gut instinct. I remember when Charles Manson insisted on representing himself, although the court revoked permission for continued self-representation because Manson behaved badly (what a surprise) and appointed defense lawyers for him over his objection. Similarly, Ted Bundy insisted on representing himself but at least he was a college graduate and had even attended law school briefly.
However, I would note two important facts: First, both of those defendants were convicted and sentenced to death. The reason Charles Manson was not executed is because California's death penalty at the time was overturned by the California Supreme Court in an unrelated decision and all of the death row inmates' sentences were commuted to life imprisonment. Second, I do not believe there was the same statutory Qualified Death Penalty Attorney requirement that Florida currently has. A criminal defendant can waive their constitutional right to counsel just like they can waive their right to a jury trial, but the Florida criminal procedure statutes might still require appointment of a death penalty qualified attorney in a death penalty case.
Too bad we don't seem to have any Florida-licensed attorneys posting on this board.

Oh gosh 80% of inmates go to the law library. We had to go once a shift to various boxes in the compound to get sick calls requests and grievances and you wouldn't believe the law library KRAP we had to wade through. "Nurse Smith didn't give me a band-aid when I had a blister on my foot and it says in Bocephus VS Texas that when railroad crossings are down and the motorist attempts to thwart the protective arms even if a train is not visible.....Blah, blah, blah." 99.9% of them are clueless when it comes to law books. I have no doubt Casey is amongst that population. She will have plenty of time to hone her skills though.
ETA: The law library is one of the few air-conditioned building in the compound, ergo all the scholars.

He has an office in St. Cloud. His secretary Dottie is really good friends with Baez's ex secretary.(hence the EX) She told bondsman that I met, that indeed Casey and baez were having sex. (those 8 hr days in his office) Baez secretary quit because of this.
If the case starts to go bad at trial Casey will reveal this. Witnesses will come forward with this info.
Baez is stuck. Casey managed to get him where she wants.
The release of video of Casey when the body of Caylee was located shows Baez with his hand on Caseys backside, his hand looks like it was in her pants in the back, because women have a top & bottom instead of a jumpsuit. When he put his hand on her back thats what hapened.
He does not want this released. Its not Casey hyperventilating that worries him.
He got Casey as a client because attys show up at the jail to try to get clients.
the jail guards inform the inmate; do not to take the first one. Take an atty that you feel will defend you to the best of their ability.
The first atty was an older man and Casey didnt like him.
the second atty was a woman and when she spoke with Casey she was appauled, it came down to morals as she felt Casey was guilty.
The third was Baez and he knew what to say and acted like he cared. Thats who Casey chose, it was HER choice.
He would not tell me who the old couple is that sends the A's money, but did say it was not Melanie Reiger (sp) group.
side note: it is this bondsmans opinion that TonE Lazzaro knew Caylee was dead. I asked him why he thought this; he said they were together 24/7 for that period of time. I disagreed with him on that.
He also told me LP never for a second thought casey would talk when he bonded her out. PUBLICITY only. He knows Lenny personally.
WOW, Peter! Thank you for this info!
All I can say is that I hope Baez is called out for the piece of junk he is!

That jaw on the floor is mine. I'll need it if I can ever eat again after this visual, so please don't step on it. Dental work is expensive.
:scared:
My jaw is down there on the floor with you. This is a BOMBSHELL of huge proportions, like Hydrogen Nuclear kinda sorta.
Casey having sex with JB - he should immediately pull out (no pun intended) of this...
I'll bet the state knows some of this already.
Thanks for the freak out Peter!

Maybe the secretary is the third complaintant! JMO.
If not, perhaps Peter could pass along that suggestion. :sneaky:

How many of us are surprised, IF true, that she was having sex with Baez!?
Hi ttc!
I am sure not surprised, but am truly hopeful that this male skank will be investigated for it!
Actually, IF he did do this, and I truly think that he did, what can be done?
He makes me barf
BBL guys!

LOL! We could all be in major trouble if LE ever wanted to check out our computers. They would either believe we were somehow involved in this case or that we were sad, fat, friendless bloggers.
We're not friendless. We got each other!

I've always wondered why casey took Caylee to Cindy on FD in the 1st place. From what Shirley P. said it appears casey was gone from the home most, if not all, of the 1st two weeks in June...then she appears with Caylee on Father's day and turns her over to Cindy. Maybe she was trying to get on Cindy's good side so she would babysit for her that night. What casey didn't anticipate was Cindy coming home royally PO'ed and jumping in her chit.
ITA, she probably screamed "you will never see Caylee again" as she grabbed her and dashed out the door in a fit of anger and rage.

what I want to know is how can they prove what was said if Kronk did
have phone conversations with friends that work in the jail.
We been through this many times. At times it is necessary for an attorney to speak with his/her client with deputies and/or jail personnel present. This does not break the priviledge. She and all jail inmates have the right to speak with an attorney and expect the priviledge to attach. JMO

WoooHoooo! Let us hope~
I'm still speechless about his hands! If this was on tape, wouldn't they have already made him step down or more? Or does everything have to go through the right channels?
