I think that posters want to blame someone, anyone, for Haleigh's abduction and since they don't know who is responsible, they lash out at who is available. In this case it is the family who appears to be flawed, unresponsive and vague about answers.

Please note that controversy no matter how disruptive it is, is what's keeping this case in the news. I hope the family realizes this and appreciates just how much so many people care about the missing Haleigh and can forgive the unkindness. Losing a child, no matter whose child it is, is the most painful emotion a person can experience.

Cobra Bail Bondsman license suspened until his charges are resolved. He has attorneys working on his charges.

AH says Cobra good at what he does. Very tight line for him to walk in that town as an outsider. Cobra coming in shook things up. Regardless of what Cobra gave them, he caught up to speed really quick.

It's hard to know. LE has said very little, yet there are lots of opinions aand rumors out there. Guess until LE verfies them, we'll have to withhold judgement on what happened.

By the way at the end, Cobra starting giving infor where to send donations. I stopped listening. JMO

I agree Jackie, this man has lost a daughter he loves and LE has all but said openly he has been cleared. LE has confirmed he was at work when his daughter went missing that tells me he is a innocent man. LE has also interviewed his wife 10x's and have made no arrest. LE has stated inconsistencies in her time line as the problem, that could, I know, be interrupted several ways. But they have NOT arrested her or said anything about her being a suspect. Until then, the father should not be bashed and a couple have went as far as call him a murderer.

Being a bit bored, I was reading other threads and came across the Tori Stafford one ..

I had not heard of that case until and have to admit, it seems like all pointed to Tori's disappearance was at the hands of her mother but two other people have been arrested

Still reading to understand why the mom when things didn't match up but it did make me take a step back in this case

I still feel it most likely Misty/Ron is behind Haleigh disappearing ... am willing to think maybe Crystal took her away for her safety (but leaving Jr makes no sense) but maybe ... just maybe -- deep down it could be a person in the drug ring with knowledge of the home

But Cobra is now focused on Crystal and that turn around surprises me

Thank you ITA with you this is just why I stopped posting on her thread it had turned into a circus of who wanted to bash which parent...not about Haleigh..which is VERY SAD and I see it is still going on so I will pray this child is found and brought home but will not post or read things that no one has a clue such as who passed or failed lie det test and crystal being lazy and on drugs that is causing seizures the last I checked no one on here has a medical degree nor do they have her medical records so some want to come up with their own reasons IMO both parents need some major parenting classes I think they both have not lived like saints and when you decide to do certain things and perhaps hang out with the wrong people that is also child neglect in my book, these parents have let everything keep the focus on each other not Haleigh and it is sad and I will be no part of the parent bashing or being pro daddy or pro mommy..I have always stayed neutral and only been PRO HALEIGH..so I will continue to pray for this child but not on this thread of bashing..all jmo..

Tara, I followed the Tori case from the beginning, as she lives quite close to my hometown. I was one who suspected the mom early on, and in fact I am not yet convinced of her complete lack of involvement. In both these cases, we have very little info coming from LE, and much speculation.

Until more info is forthcoming, a mind open to all possibilities is needed in both cases. I applaud you for being able to see that.

It's so hard to tell, could it be a random kidnapping or is it deeper. Usually by now if it's a family member L.E. has a clue. I just don't know. There are so many that just vanish. I don't understand bashing the parents at this point until L.E. gives some hint they are a suspect we have to go with them, they do know a whole lot more than we do.

Thanks legal. In both cases you cited, le was hard at work, extremely hard at work. It seems putnam county isn't interested in the slightest to work hard for Haleigh, they continue to spin the "we need that one tip" instead of allowing searches to take place, muchless search themselves. It's a downright disgrace.

How do you know what Putnam County is doing to find Haleigh? Maybe they already pretty much know what happened but don't have the proof they need to bring charges and make it stick? How many times have we seen on tv where it took years to bring a murderer to justice, or to find the murderer, or even to find a missing person? Just because they aren't sending people daily e-mails to keep them up to date on the progress of the case doesn't mean they aren't working on it. If you'll go back to the earlier updates, you will see that they have searched in many areas. If Haleigh is still alive and being kept with family or friends, what good is looking in the woods and swamps for her body going to do? Do you even know for a fact that there have been no recent searches done? I am sure that if you were willing to get off your armchair and go ask PCSO if they would mind you searching for her they would be happy to let you have at it. There are a lot of wooded, swampy, and underwater areas in that county. Or is it easier to just badmouth LE because they don't feel that it is any of John Q Public's business what is going on behind closed doors? Maybe they have a perfectly good reason for keeping their lips sealed? And maybe it just doesn't have anything to do with them not knowing anything about what happened to Haleigh. moo

ps how many of the cases that were mentioned were solved by police work? seems like they were all solved by the right people being at the right place at the right time.

You know I get up every morning and read the thread about Haleigh, hoping and praying that she has been found alive or dead, hopefully alive. But on just about every thread about her that is started, they all turn in to a bashing game. Here we have a beautiful little girl missing. We need to do all we can to keep her in the news so just maybe someone who knows something will come forward and IMO there is a few that know what happened to her and where she is.

So PLEASE lets keep her threads from getting closed, If everyone would just scroll and ignore the ones that start all of the B.S. we can coutinue to discuss this case.

I don't post on much of the threads, but I do read them and try to keep informed on what is going on. But when I read Haleigh's thread I get so sad, because it seems that we have some people on here who just get on here to bash others and start trouble to get the threads closed. Maybe just maybe some posters on here are getting to close to the truth of what happened that some folks maybe getting a little nervous. (SP) IMOO

Haleigh, IMO, was taken by an unidentified, unknown offender. I think the story Cobra is putting out there about a family member on Crystals side of the family, could also be true. I would rather believe it was a family member, because it just might mean she is alive.

I'm not sure that the logistics involved would bear out that either side has her hidden. Silence from everyone involved in the hiding would be paramount and I don't believe that could be maintained this long.

Unknown offenders, generally speaking, do not hang on to their victims for long periods of time. My personal opinion is that if this were some unknown offender who possibly killed her, her little body would have been discovered long before now.

I'm not sure how my attempting to get this thread back on track warrants your question, which I bolded. It is my opinion that if one does not want the thread to get and remain sidetracked, one should not participate in the further sidetracking by discussing other posters.

Maybe if this is an offender, they have their own agenda and don't follow the norm of one. IDK. If it is an offender, could they have had a car hidden, could they have hopped a train?? Even guessing on either, she could be anywhere, not even in the vicinity. But since Cobra brought up about Haleigh being with a family member, then to me that would be great, because I would think then that she would be alive.

Sheffield also states his daughter, Crystal, isn't speaking to him because she thinks if she gets custody he and his wife will try to take them away from her.

Ok, Johnny Sheffield is so intent on searching for Haleigh then why is he moving out of state to Kentucky? Does this make sense? It sure doesn't to me.

The thing about statements from Cobra et al, one day they can't be believed and the next day it is all truth and nothing but the truth.

The one thing that has not wavered is that the last we heard from LE, "everybody" has inconsistencies and Misty especially.
