does this judge have a past history of not starting his cases on time??? This is what happened the last time it is almost half hour after is was spost to start? WTH is going on?

GM neid...........I have no clue, but this is getting ridiculous with all these delays. Sorry over the top of everything right now with emotions. BC better have a good one maybe this is why he is delaying today? BC doesn't have any other cases that I found on the orange clerks site right now. :cursing:

Just a wild guess here, but it would prove knowledge of the blanket missing and the date showing who purchased it.

Many judges do not start their hearings at the time stated on the pleadings (legal papers), particularly motion hearings. Sometimes the courtroom does not even unlock its doors until that time i.e. if the court's calendar for the day is supposed to begin at 8:30 am then that is when the bailiff will unlock and open the courtroom doors, and the attorneys whose cases were scheduled to be heard will check in with the clerk to let the clerk know who they are, which case they are appearing on and which party they represent. Eventually - usually 15-30 minutes later - the judge will come in and sit down at the bench, and the bailiff will announce that court is in session and call the courtroom to order. Then the judge will begin calling the cases. Normally there are many cases (usually between 10-30 cases but sometimes even more) set for the same time i.e. 8:30 am or 9:00 am. If there are a very large number of cases or if a bunch of civil cases were bumped due to a need to deal with criminal cases, and the judge doesn't finish hearing all of them by lunchtime, the unheard cases can be trailed to an afternoon session or a later date but that is pretty rare.

That's because Brad Conway, the lawyer representing the Anthonys, can not make this morning's hearing.

Attorneys in the case against Casey Anthony will be back in court at 10:30 a.m.

This time the issue was supposed to be whether Orange Circuit Court Judge Jose R. Rodriguez will force the Anthonys and their son, Lee Anthony, to answer questions they initially refused in interviews.

Now, the Anthonys portion of the discussion will be rescheduled.

I have been in the medical field for MANY years and have never heard of a paraplegic throwing his back out. I did x-ray for 11 years of that and have never heard of this. What is there to feel? AGAIN, not trying to be tacky, but unless it was from the waist up, I just don't get it.

Sounds like this was a great tactic on BC's part. It appears the docket is full for quite sometime. Didn't Kassen say that he was wanting this to be postponed until after the murder trial? This may not keep this civil suit from moving forward but it sure helps achieve the primary goal doesn't it.

Likely the next ailment he will suffer from is whiplash after he watched the part of the hearing that did take place. Sounded to me like the judge is not buying what the A's are selling. I found myself wondering if the emails were about Cindy and George claiming to be too ill to have their depositions taken and claiming they had not gone out in public when in fact they had gone on a talk show (with their attorney!) or if the emails might have been about Cindy flipping the bird while in this judge's courtroom. Not that I believe this well timed excuse from Conway...but it is my understanding that paras do have a problem with spasticity. This a involuntary jerking movement due to your brain sending signals to your spinal cord. This can be caused by a number of things including something as simple as changing your body position. Needless to say Conway would be aware of this being a para, and maybe it's even happened to him in the past. What a convenient excuse for him to use whenever he needs to get out of something. Too bad the judge didn't insist on a statement from his doctor to justify this delay, especially in view of the fact that he didn't want to go forward via the telephone.

On the current road they are on, no one is going to want to hire them and their fundation is a farce that will not last longer than the time it took Casey to get arrested. If Casey is found not guilty, what will their life be like then? Are they prepared to have their daughter move back into their home and continue living her life the way she was? Imagine the types of people she will be running around with then? No god loving, honest person is going to want to hang out with her?

I'm not sure. It just says if the investigation shows probable cause, then it would be escalated to the disciplinary process. I guess that could include anything from fines, to being disbarred. IMO.

Apparantly a criminal mind I have not. I just don't think that way. Actually following this case almost feels dirty to me. I am almost dissappointed (remember I said almost) with myself for being so intrigued. But the truth of the matter is what keeps me coming back here and what keeps me watching coverage of it is the 'no they didn't' factor. I am finding it hard to believe that these people truly believe there own BS and that they think everyone else believes it. I believe they call it the 'shock value'. Where is the next 12 step meeting place?
