No, it was something about RC not wanting the A's to get involved in Haleigh's case. There was a link, but I don't have it. JMO

As always, thank you for the link pan. I found this to be interesting: Misty Croslin Cummings, who married Ronald Cummings just a month after Haleigh disappeared, has been the center of the Putnam County, state, and federal investigation efforts since the case began.

I hope the fresh set of eyes will help with finding and bringing Haleigh Cummings home.

moo

Yes, I think a changing of the guard is warranted. The only drawback I see is a delay in a resolution. It'll take time for the new Investigator to get up to speed.

Is that about 150 miles give or take a few?

LOL, don't ask me, I can't find my way out of a paper bag. Live map only gave me the time, not the mileage. I don't see any connection to Haleigh's case, but a certain atty. from Orlando will. More feed for his fodder.

I saw the report on JVM. Notice the man arrested looks nothing like the sketch.

Where dies that sketch emanate from? I've seen it attached to at least three cases now. The killing in Blanchard Park of the Jogger, the CA case, and now this one.

Where were the beer cans? Did the suspect take the time to drink a beer when he was in the family home? I heard the panel talking about DNA on the beer cans.
the beer cans were outside in the yard .... this guy has a history of whacking something other than weeds in peoples lawns and more specificly outside their windows
 thumbs down to that nasty thought

maybe it was dark and he was dirty... possibly could have even darkened his skin with something on purpose.... as far as similar sketches elsewhere in other cases maybe the sketch artist needs some art classes... not every police dept has their own maybe they use the same one and he has a limited imagination and interpretation skills?

I wonder if a message on what to do has been put out lately and these children are paying attention. Didn't one or two other little girls recently thwart someone trying to do them harm? JMO

Now that is nasty. He stands there drinking beer in the yard along with his "other" business and watching a child through the window. How sick.

Was he trying to take the child out of the home when she screamed?
Don't know at which point she screamed but he managed to duct tape the girl grab a pair of the mothers high heels out of a closet near the garage and then take the girl and high heels into the garage and soon after was chased off by one or both of the parents

Unfortunately, there are way too many children in those kinds of situations. People want to do what it takes to make babies, but they don't want to do what it takes to care for them. JMO

It would be money well spent for a program to educate children about what to do.

Exactly, I have seen programs where it is explained what not to do when someone approaches you, but I don't know if there is much education on how to handle a situation after someone is in the process of taking you. JMO

I hope Misty doesn't attempt to use her sense of entitlement when the new lead investigator wants to question her again. Remember this?

“There was a new guy that was new to the case and I didn’t feel comfortable with him. He was just being very rude to me … He was just like being rude, like yelling and pretty much telling me I was a liar,” she said, adding that she told the lead detective on the case, John Merchant, that she would talk to him, but not to the new investigator.

I have never heard of anyone getting to pick and choose which investigator that will or will not speak to. Especially if I have nothing to hide. Remember, Misty said innocent people don't need lawyers, so she can't use that as an excuse. I would think if she is so innocent, and loves Haleigh as much as she has proclaimed why she wouldn't want to answer all questions irregardless of who is asking.

One thing Ron's attys failed to think of, if Ron was so adamant about not going to the Lake St. Mary Vigil where the A's attended, he could have gone to the vigil for Trenton and Haleigh and the others, in Leesburg.

I was thinking about what a sharp contrast Cynthia and George Anthony must have seen between a genuinely worried and grieving young mother (Crystal Shepard) and what they witnessed in Casey when Caylee was "missing". The difference must have been glaringly obvious to them, but I'm guessing they chose to believe Crystal is just 'ignorant'.
