Please don't make me watch it again. If they are shamrocks, Cindy needs some mental health care and soon. Where is their anger for the murderer of Caylee? Where is the plea for the real ivisinanny? Why is there no longer a tip line? But, there is a foundation website that you can donate to. They make me sick. imo

Yes I remember that. I heard Oregon mentioned but do not know if one went on. I think Oregon was mentioned last time too.
I contacted authorities in 2 of the 3 locations listed as sponsors of the National Vigil for Hope. It was in November '08. One was in CA, one in OR.
No one knew about the vigils, nor had anyone applied for the proper permits to hold such an event in those particular venues.
The 3rd location was a grocery store in the Detroit area.
I was not able to obtain any information about it from anyone in a position to verify that the vigil took place.
I have the information that I gathered somewhere if anyone wants to see it.
I am certain that I posted it to the board.
This was in mid-late Nov, IIRC, shortly before Caylee's body was found.

I don't see anything about it there.
I do expect this to come up. John Morgan got CA to clearly state that she herself publicized ZG's name, as Casey's spokesperson, in spite of the fact that LE had said that Morgan's client was not a suspect.

The motion to compel Cindy to answer Morgan's questions reminded me of a point during the depo when Brad Conway objected to a question posed to Cindy regarding Casey's unauthorized use of Cindy's credit cards. Cindy refused to answer the question, saying it was irrelevant.
Brad Conway then claimed that her refusal to answer was based on the ongoing investigation, possibly of the Anthony's.
On LKL, King asked if the A's were being investigated for any obstruction of justice or other wrong doing pertaining to the case and Conway answered, "Absolutely not."
So, which is it?
I guess we shall find out on Thursday.

Cindy is mentioned on Page 3 of the amended motion as authorized to speak for her daughter Casey and in fact did repeat her false story.

If it's ruled that the Anthonys are to pay costs for the second deposition in the civil suit, they really need to be careful about all these mounting unpaid debts -- Brad Conway's fees, Dominic Casey's fees, and now Morgan & Morgan's costs (which include the videographer as well as attorneys' time, no?) With no real job how will they manage to keep their home?

With no real job how will they manage to keep their home?

After they get done with the "income" from these things, the Anthonys figure (or did figure) that there would be money left for them to retire on. For life. Oh, maybe George would ride in circles in the Kidfinder boat with the sonar on, and maybe Cindy would "administer" the Fundation, but other than that, it's supposed to be retirement for Cindy and George (retirement for George is sort of a joke, but...) --

I don't think there's going to be a whole lot of money left for them. I mean, you need a whole lot of money to retire nowadays, and they're not going to get it -- especially with the bigger faster more experienced vultures getting their cut first.

Cindy and George just might have to face the nauseating fact that they owe tons of money and after all this is said and done, the banks and the lawyers and all the rest will come calling, and the creditors will be knock knock knocking on their door.

And they'll be back where they started, minus one sweet little grandchild-girl, one grown up murderer daughter, and more bills and debts and anxiety than they ever thought they'd have.

It was all for nothing.

Did you watch the brief video with George handing out bracelets and joking with the small crowd, and Cindy and George's emotional pleas? Cindy with her voice cracking and sounding like she was about to bust out crying any second when she said: to the families of Trenton Duckett and Zachary Bernhardt don't give up hope. Thank goodness they only got brief snippets of their bad acting, which was about more than I could stomach.

I do expect this to come up. John Morgan got CA to clearly state that she herself publicized ZG's name, as Casey's spokesperson, in spite of the fact that LE had said that Morgan's client was not a suspect.

The motion to compel Cindy to answer Morgan's questions reminded me of a point during the depo when Brad Conway objected to a question posed to Cindy regarding Casey's unauthorized use of Cindy's credit cards. Cindy refused to answer the question, saying it was irrelevant.
Brad Conway then claimed that her refusal to answer was based on the ongoing investigation, possibly of the Anthony's.
On LKL, King asked if the A's were being investigated for any obstruction of justice or other wrong doing pertaining to the case and Conway answered, "Absolutely not."
So, which is it?
I guess we shall find out on Thursday.

I'm watching IM, there's been nothing about the Casey A case as of yet, it's all about the mom and 2 little boys murdered in Ill.
Nancy has gotten quite emotional a couple of times talking about it.
She's having a hard time with her guests getting answers to questions she's asking.

I would love it if the media shuns them. And I hope that both sides of Haleigh's family tells the Anthonys to keep their distance. Ron and his lawyer or whoever helped him with that PR release was right. The Anthonys have their own agenda and I don't think it involves finding Haleigh.

Great post DT and I agree with all you said except that I don't think George saw Casey and Caylee on the 16th.

I think that story was cooked up to go along with the denial that there was a fight the night before. If George had seen them, it would make it seem as if everything was hunky dory, that Casey wasn't afraid or at least uncomfortable with coming home to sleep. That it was just a day like any other. Somehow, I just don't see that happening. This fight was most likely like nothing Cindy and Casey had ever had before, it turned physical which shows a huge rage. I just have a hard time thinking that Casey returned home with Caylee sometime in that night and then behaved the next late morning with George as if nothing had happened. I think she stayed away all night. If we are to believe Lenny, she spent that time in a parking lot talking and texting Tony.
I think it was also during this long night is when she took Caylee's life.
She waited until she knew George would be off to work and then went back to the house.
I have many times tried to post what I think happened from the time she left the house after the fight and then returned home on the 16th, but everytime I've tried to post it, my wireless has cut out, it's been so late at night there was no one here to read it....something has happened to prevent my idea/theory from coming thru. My puter is not dependable, it goes crazy on me at the most inappropriate times, and there are those times, I hit a wrong key and it all goes poof.
Doesn't matter. My bottom line is...Casey screeched away from the house with Caylee in hand on the evening of the 15th and sometime between the time she left and the time she returned the next day, 16th, after she knew both Cindy and George would be gone, she had killed Caylee. When she returned to the house, it was to figure out what she was going to do now. She had a little dead body, a date with Tony that night and she needed some quiet time alone to figure it all out. That activity on the puter that you have posted about could have been her googling...what to do with a dead body. ??? This could very well be things LE knows and haven't released yet.
I do know that some of which I feel has some holes in it, but I'm thinking that when all is released and the pros sets out this case at trial those holes may be filled in.
As you said DT, that fight was the catalyst and Caylee was dead within no more than 24 hours, possibly even less than that.
And the Ant's have and continue to do everything they can to prevent anyone from digging deeper into that late afternoon and evening of the 15th and the circumstances of that fight.

You mean can he reprimand them? Remind them that a deposition is a legal proceeding and they WILL follow procedure or risk punishment? That they have NO business taking over the proceedings with their own questions?

This woman is never going to learn, took us all of 12 hours to get a really clear picture of this immature behavior in a court room, how long before it hits someones desktop that has the authority to reprimand her for it? That is a really clear picture-

I went back and watched the end of the hearing clips again and saw Cindy casually throwing her purse over her shoulder, and using her left hand in motion, finger towards the camera.

She did it. It was casual and quick but she did it.

I had thought it must be just a rumor but I have seen it myself.

I was surprized to see she flipped that finger.

And like EVERYthing else, she takes it right up to the line, over the line but makes it look like she brings it right up to a line. To me, that is not recognizing any boundaries, and she is just all over the place inappropriately.

Shameful behavior.

That was right after she did it... When she actually flipped the "Lee" she was looking right at the person she aimed the "Lee" at...

It took me forever to Bchand. If you'd like to give it another shot it's quick but it starts at approx the 31:11 mark. This is the best vid yet as far as clarity that I've seen.

I paused the video at 31:11 and she was definitely flipping someone "The Lee". It was quick but it was there. That woman has the class of a gutter snipe.
