I was also going to say that each and every Zenaida should seek damages, but those people weren't the ones at Sawgrass.

I doubt that very strongly...although Casey lived at home, she is an adult and her parents can not be held liable for her...However, I believe (I could be wrong) that any money received pertaining to Caylee can be attached.....(photo's sold, video's sold....story sold etc.,) because that would be directly related to Casey...the grandparents would have no say so......

I think that would be how it would go....I'm really nor too sure....

But in my very own opinion, I THINK that maybe Morgan and Morgan made a side deal with Zenaida, to probably give her the 15,000 if this case does not net her any money.....It would be cheap publicity at that price....and they ARE getting publicity...

I would love to see Cindy have to pay this, it sickens me to hear that she is now forming a foundation called Caylee and Haleigh.....How can she compare the two....her daughter murdered Caylee...Haleigh is still missing, and even if it should come up that Misty was involved in some way, it still would not compare to a mother murdering her own child and the grandparents covering for it.....

Hi Jennie, there has been a lot of speculation about this, but there is no definite proof or evidence that this is the case, at least that has been released as part of the evidence document dumps. The incident, if it did occur, occurred with Annie Downing, who did not mention it or it was not mentioned in the summary of her interview which was publicly released. It would be a great piece of evidence if it were true!

I dunno, I think you ARE responsible for what goes on in your house whether it's another adult or not, related or not. For example, if you allowed a motorcycle gang to move in your house and trash the neighborhood and have loud parties, deal drugs, etc., you may pay the price for that. I think you may be on the hook (or co-defendants) for paying the damages to neighbors, or any other victims and your house will be the one seized under any existing drug laws, IMO. Whether a home owner's policy pays out for harboring a criminal in your house, though, I have no idea. Seems to me like you are on your own if you willfully and knowingly somehow promote criminality in your home as opposed to "accidentally" harboring criminal activity.

I dunno, I think you ARE responsible for what goes on in your house whether it's another adult or not, related or not. For example, if you allowed a motorcycle gang to move in your house and trash the neighborhood and have loud parties, deal drugs, etc., you may pay the price for that. I think you may be on the hook (or co-defendants) for paying the damages to neighbors, or any other victims and your house will be the one seized under any existing drug laws, IMO. Whether a home owner's policy pays out for harboring a criminal in your house, though, I have no idea. The insulation guy tripped over something the A/C guy had on the floor and broke his leg. Hubby got sued for it under the homeowner's policy even though the guys were contracted trades. (Settled for a "nuisance suit" amount.:cursing:)

I took notice of picture 11 also. It helped me get an image of his true nature. I asked a while ago if there was a picture of George when he was younger. Someone asked why I wanted to do that and I responded that I was just curious. I think this picture can give me a better idea of the person that he is. Me thinks the state will call the arresting officer, and it will just add to the deceptiveness of everyone involved, including Annie Downing.

Sure would be interesting to know the date of that, anyone recall? I think it was in May, and someone (Casey?) pled no contest, didn't show up in court, and paid the fine via the net, ooa first week of July.

It is not uncommon for one person to pay for another person's expenses. The court will generally allow one person to pay another person's filing fees, fines, etc. However, there would be a document trail unless they were paid in cash. In my experience, the court writes the case name and number on the check when any money is paid to the court by check. I have never paid court costs by credit card but I would expect the court to keep a record of all such credit card/internet payments as well. If Casey paid online - maybe using her mother's credit card? - for a seatbelt ticket that she got while pretending to be Zenaida Gonzalez then there will be a record of that.

I haven't seen any documents supporting this supposed occurrence in the document dumps. I did see a log that the police did where they took each and every charge made on Cindy Anthony's credit cards during June and July, then they went to each store and pulled the surveillance tapes from those purchases. Sometimes the surveillance tapes showed Cindy Anthony using her own credit card and that information was noted, but next there would be Casey plus TonE (at JC Penneys) or Casey and other friends or Casey by herself and that information would be noted as well. If any credit card statement had reflected an online payment to the court on behalf of "Zenaida" then I think it would have been in the purchase log.

I don't think they really need it, though. I think they have plenty of evidence nailing Casey already.

No yelling here but: I believe this family has made it their life's work to appear to be something they are not. As of July 15, 2008 GA & CA have made it their priority to be "vicitims" and nothing more than that irregardless of their own actions or those of their offspring. Although I do see them as the grieving grandparents of Caylee (as I would anyone else who lost a loved one), I do not see them as being unjustlly persecuted as they have called all this attention to themselves. Having said that I do believe that Ga plays to the cameras as much as CA does. We see from them exactly what they want us to see (except for those occasions when they can't seem to gather up quite enough control).

It is quite unnerving.

How I saw that traffic go down was that it involved seatbelts? And someone didn't have a drivers license, but they still id'd themselves as ZFG, and the ticket was wrote up to ZFG, and then she never showed up in court, and paid the fine via the internet. Z

I think it is classically outrageous, mocking satire in the style of Voltaire's Candide or Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal. It is indeed "over-the-top" and shocking because what Casey did to poor little Caylee was so terrible.

So long as there are people like Cindy out on the talk show circuit trying to minimize Casey's conduct ("Casey was only arrested because she lied about where she worked" - with the subtext that Casey was not arrested because she most likely murdered her daughter) while simultaneously trying to make money from Caylee's death then there needs to be a counter-balance of people pointing out the horrific nature of Casey's crime against Caylee and the wrongness of making money from Caylee's suffering and death. By contrast, you don't see websites depicting Sandra Cantu suitcase dolls because Melissa Huckaby and her family are not out there seeking fame and fortune like the Anthonys.

My opinion would be different if the parody website was actually selling the bears rather than merely trying to shame the Anthonys about their irrational aggressive defense of Caylee's murderer and their financial exploitation of Caylee's suffering and death.

I guess what bothers me about it, is it is SO provocative regarding the circumstances of Caylee's death and it made me uncomfortable. It's like that degree of separation that I need for satire is missing. Time and a LWOP would help me find the absurdity in a humorous way, too.

I can totally see your point on this and I am sorry if I offended you. What I can't grasp is how the circumstances of Caylee's death can be of so little concern to those to whom it should matter the most. I mean to us she is a stranger, yet we take more offense at her death and the manner of it than the people she spent her whole life with and who now refer to her as "that little girl". How Cindy can sit on LK's show and say "Larry we don't know what happened to Caylee" just astonishes me. I think it is very clear what happened to her, she was killed or she died (I say killed) and the person to whom she should have meant the most, packed her up like so much garbage and tossed her to the side of the road. She then went about her life for the next 31 days, partying, dancing, watching movies , getting laid and stealing from her friends and family. I find that unfathomable. I cannot get my mind to wrap around the idea that someone could do that. Maybe my attempt at humor went too far, I'd like to know if George and Cindy have a reaction similar to yours and if so, how dare they, when they cannot voice any outrage at what was done to their grand daughter.

Does everyone remember the taped visit between Cindy, George and Casey where Cindy tells Casey that they forgive her for things she has said and Casey replied "I haven't said anything"?

I keep thinking about that statement, and for the longest time I thought that it was about some strange skeleton this family has in their closet that the elder Ants do not want the public to know about...... But now it makes me wonder about this.......

The Anthony's get Casey's car back from the impound, reeking of death. They find Casey but not Caylee. They then go to the back yard and start tearing up the back yard even moving pavers they have back there. All before the police get a chance to do it....

What if they did find Caylee back there? What if Casey had borrowed the shovel from the neighbor and buried her underneath a paver...And Ga and CA found her and triple bagged her and threw her into the woods? They could have used the same smelly car to transport her. Come back and clean it out.....
What if... what Casey is not telling is the fact that her parents moved Caylee?? And that is the skeleton in the closet that Cindy is so worried about Casey telling? That they were the ones that moved Caylee??

I don't understand why the A's would mislead the very public they are asking to look for Caylee, with random comments about 'having the kidnapper's under surveillance' With Cindy writing what IMO, is a memorial to Caylee on her myspace, yet, once the car is found, she tells her boss about the 'smell' but refuses to call LE 'until Casey has a chance to explain' and does not even want to leave work, until she is forced.

Why the A's gave the wrong hair brush, joked about giving the 'dogs toothbrush instead of Caylee's....refusing to give anything to TES for the dogs to get Caylee's scent....searching the back yard before LE had a chance...the shed, and as you pointed out, the pavers....

There is far more to this family, and their involvement at the very least, after the fact.
