If it wasn't for the mess this family is in right now, and the fact a 2 yo has been murdered, the Anthony's would actual have some peace and quiet with Casey gone.

I imagine there was alot of walking on egg shells in that household when Casey was around.

Nancy is abrasive lots of times, actually that's kind of what I like about her because her motive isn't to be mean, she has an agenda of standing up and protecting victims.

I was just thinking about the jury. They will be getting all the same info that we have gotten (give or take) except over a shorter period of time. I don't know if that is good or bad. It's good because they may be so overwhelmed and in disbelief over how much evidence is against Casey. It may be bad because they may not have time to digest it all.

The prosecution in the Drew Peterson case is trying to get the judge thrown off the case because they think he is too sympathetic to Drew Peterson. This all came about because the prosecution tried to get DP charged w/some sort of firearms charge, but they did not file the proper paperwork or couldn't provide documentation or something along those lines. They were talking about this earlier on JVM's show. I guess NG is siding w/the prosecution and the reporter is probably siding w/the judge and that is where their disagreement came about. I'll definitely watch one of NG's reruns to see firsthand what took place. Personally I think it was a big mistake for the reporter to do that. If he thinks NG is such a joke, then why did he agree to go on her show in the first place? :shrug:

Did NG even talk about the Casey Anthony case on her show tonight? She has been awful quiet on that front lately.

I keep swinging back and forth b/n George knowing or discovering Caylee at that meeting with Casey June 24th and George not discovering anything but being so close to finding the body.If he did he would have done a better job of disposing of the body and evidence ,but other times I think he had to know something July 4th weekend.Maybe he suspected something altho had no concrete proof and they decided to "clean" up the backyard in case there was some evidence.In my opinion something happened that June 24,or whatever day George confronted Casey b/c possibly even that date was fabricated to throw LE off.July 3 Cindy posted her thing about Caylee missing,Lee went looking forCasey,Casey tells Jesse not to talk to her parents,and I think Cindy was to meet Casey at the parking lot at Universal.Things were starting to look suspicious at this time and that was even before the car was abandonned.Then July 15 all hell broke loose........

I'm suspicious of the July 4th weekend yard cleanup, too, especially since it's right on the heels of Cindy's July 3rd myspace (or facebook) message meant for Casey, about would she ever see Caylee again, and who was looking out for the little angel.

Hey, could be. I had to pick up a dead squirrel last week. Forgot to put it in the trash bin for the days pick up. By my crazy way. I threw it in recycle bin, was not full and not set out front for pick up.

Evening adair. I missed it the first time but just rewatched Nancy Grace. It didn't involve this case at all.

There was a radio guy on as a commentator and he went into attack mode on Nancy. He said the show was a joke and he was embarrassed to be on it. So Nancy turned his mic off.

He was way off base. He thinks the prosecutor should arrest the husband of the woman and 2 children who were strangled. Nancy can't make that happen.

I really hope the motion is approved and the case will not be dismissed.

the only reference to an address that we know of is what she 'claimed' she tried to give detectives AFTER they returned to the home with Casey, when its disclosed Casey gave them bogus locations. and Cindy SUDDENLY has an address for them to check out (although she doesnt know its Amy/Ricardo's apt). *wonder where she lifted that from?*

I have frequently said that I think it is probably meritorious (if they can indeed prove the facts that they have alleged) and should be allowed to go to trial. It may depend on the particular quirks of Florida defamation law (neither Lapis nor I practice in Florida.)

I guess we will see tomorrow and perhaps learn what particular quirks of the Florida defamation law may be.
I as well, think this case should go to trial not only for Zeinada, but for the education of any others that may want/need to file a defamation suit. The Zeinada vs Casey case could stop many frivolous and unfounded defamation suits as well as it could educate and encourage others that are not frivolous and are well founded.

I as well, think this case should go to trial not only for Zeinada, but for the education of any others that may want/need to file a defamation suit. The Zeinada vs Casey case could stop many frivolous and unfounded defamation suits as well as it could educate and encourage others that are not frivolous and are well founded.

If I did not know better, i think that JB plan for getting kc is ineffective counsel. It wont get kc off but it could potentially get her a new trial. And that would mean MORE media attention. Its almost like a hamster running on a wheel...getting no where fast.

I think if there is a chance, it will come after the trial. The pros has way too much to deal with in making sure right now that the trial will bring a conviction to even think about the Ant's and their lies.
If they lie on the stand at trial, I would think then they would be right on top of it immediatly. But, right now, they are more concerned in convicting Casey.
I look at it this way, let them continue speaking with their forked tongues, throwing out lies and blame for now. They are just digging themselves even deeper. For all we know, the IRS and the state is also quietly investigating them for this so called foundation and all these 'dontations' they seem to be living on.
Along with my faith that justice will come for Caylee, I also have faith that the Ant's will get what's coming to them as well.

When G & C are on TV they are not under oath. So I don't think those statements can be used "against" them.........but i believe that i goes to more or less character "flaws"?? How did that work in the SP case.

Anyway, EVEN IF THERE WASN'T any cameras @ the gym, @ least one local poster says you have to sign in. PLUS, even @ that early hour, even if there wasn't a lot of other patrons there, gym staff would be. All they would have to do is contact the gym staff that were on duty that am, and check the roster to see what patrons they could ask.

So, taking that a step further.. I understand how having the defendant attend all hearings might ward off some appeals issues; but don't quite understand how it could totally ward off IAC, which might surface during trial. Take for example the Sommer case.

I don't want to see this defendant get a new trial based on IAC. And I wouldn't be surprised if JB is setting the stage for that possibility. He's obviously looking at the Sommer case as he has already cited it for other reasons.
