how come this thread is further down the list?????... i was in shock that there wasn't one but then i spotted it... good morning to you all!!!

I posted some myspace stuff last night about joe overstreets cousin... first name unknown... who was planning a trip to florida on 2/2/09... this guy is a total gang banger and there are tons of pictures with guns and cash laid out and then there is a picture of him on the phone that says "who are you gonna have me rob?" all these pictures are labeled as "new"
I am really curious if anyone knows if in fact he did come with joe on his little trip... does anyone know or have you heard if joe had company on his visit?
I find that info really important after seeing this other cousin's profile... and like I said from what I saw on myspace it definitely lends more credibility that joe did "stoled Rons gun" and that there probably was an altecation like misty said... remember she said joe was there that day and then ron on video said no he wasn't
the post should be towards the end of last nights thread let me know if you would like me to repost for easy reference

well then I guess I'll ask myself....
was there any windows open that night... I don't remember seeing anywhere for a fact that there wasn't.... I know the focus was on the open door but from what they say with the laundry pile holding the inner door open... it crossed my mind that it was possible that that was an exit more than an entrance...
if you open the door laundry in the way you would have to take it out from behind the door then put it in front the door to hold it open....
reason i ask is my mom's house was broken into by a neighbor... he came in thru the open window and out the front door... door also left/propped wide open
just wondering and i'm sure le looked into that possibility but like i said i don't remember hearing confirmation that all windows were locked/shut

I think as far as the front door misty did not claim it to be open and obviously when ron got home he would have had to come through it so by the time LE got there it was not in the same condition... but I find it curious why we haven't heard about the windows at least...

where are all the doc dumps like in the casey case????
wish we could get at least some info or answers from LE
The fact that there isn't gives me an impression that the suspected perp even if not official is some very close within th einner circle...
maybe because this is not such an open and shut case like casey's they are being extra careful not to give anyone a heads up as to their plans

I think you may very well be right about LE's strategy. I think they are very carefully & deliberately releasing tiny bits of information in a way that they believe will give the perp some confidence that they are not suspecting him/her/them.

Meanwhile...have you done any facebook/myspace searching to see if you can find one on Ron's cousin, Jason Squires? If the web message boards are accurate, Ron spent a lot of time in his uncle's house - Donald Squires. Ron was with Donald when they both were ticketed on a wildlife violation a couple of years ago. Jason has a record, a woman took out an order of protection against sexual violence on him when he was something like 17 years old. Mighty scary when someone so young is commiting sexual violence!

I can't help but need to know if this guy was with Joe I think it is really significant to find that out... there's even info that he was a new driver and now I am wondering if he was the one that "borrowed" the van that got scratched up... Misty's sis in law said she had a feeling she knew who it was and there was talk that it could have been a relative... yet she didn't mention joe by name but now that makes me wonder even more if this guy was here too

I just seen Ron's video on HLN this morning, I can't believe how many news stations are running the video. Thank You God...I am so surprise this video is getting more attention then interviews has, maybe because it is focused on Haleigh instead of Crystal or Ron's personal life..Just proves the news has come to recognize this is about Haleigh, not the parents.
Haleigh was discussed yesterday on HLN, a regular,I believe a ex FBI agent. KP was on the phone and when she tried to take the message off of Haleigh this guy busted her. She didn't get to run her mouth more then 15 seconds. She tried to change the subject of to Ron's marriage and this guy stopped her in her tracks letting her know it was NOT Ron who took Haleigh off the radar, it was her and Crystal with their charges of abuse that has still yet to be proven. You could tell KP was SHOCKED and unhappy she was not allowed to get her punches in on Ron.
I pray this video continues to be played daily and brings and keeps the focus on Haleigh. KP just doesn't get it. This is NOT about Ron or Crystal. We all know where they are...
Just run again, this is 2 times in the last 30 minutes.......Yes!!!!!!

Bam do you have a link to the transcript, I don't really know what HLN is at I don't have that here so not sure where to look. Also which video is this? I'm assuming the one from the other day on a news show, is that online anywhere?

On the search page for the civil dockets, there is a record on Jason Squires which began on 8/17/06 & which was extended several times & then finally dismissed on 9/17/07 - TEMPORARY INJUNCTION FOR PROTECTION AGAINST SEXUAL VIOLENCE. He was 17 years old at the time, if this is the same Jason Squires who was arrested on 10/10/08.

HLN is CNN Headline News. To the best of my knowledge, there are no transcripts available for those specific broadcasts. There are daily ones for Jane Velez-Mitchell, Nancy Grace, Larry King & all that, but I think that is all they offer.

KP has to make any thing about Ron bad, she needs to in order to make her client look even half way good. I believe she is hurting Crystal more then helping.I do believe Marie is to blame for this. I just seen Ron's video on HLN this morning, I can't believe how many news stations are running the video. Thank You God...I am so surprise this video is getting more attention then interviews has, maybe because it is focused on Haleigh instead of Crystal or Ron's personal life..Just proves the news has come to recognize this is about Haleigh, not the parents.
Haleigh was discussed yesterday on HLN, a regular,I believe a ex FBI agent. KP was on the phone and when she tried to take the message off of Haleigh this guy busted her. She didn't get to run her mouth more then 15 seconds. She tried to change the subject of to Ron's marriage and this guy stopped her in her tracks letting her know it was NOT Ron who took Haleigh off the radar, it was her and Crystal with their charges of abuse that has still yet to be proven. You could tell KP was SHOCKED and unhappy she was not allowed to get her punches in on Ron.
I pray this video continues to be played daily and brings and keeps the focus on Haleigh. KP just doesn't get it. This is NOT about Ron or Crystal. We all know where they are...
Just run again, this is 2 times in the last 30 minutes.......Yes!!!!!!

Alrighty then. Can you give us your take on why either Kim P or Cobra would have voluntarily put themselves in the same general vicinity, much LESS the same room with the likes of Jerome W? Why would they seek interaction with that thug? Why would either of them have continued contact with Nay Nay? With Daniel Bass, a registered sex offender?

I don't think Nay Nay, Jerome W & Daniel Bass are connected to Ron, so I can't envision how entering their sordid realm can be considered to be only motivated by a desire to make Ron look bad & lose custody of Junior.

I think it would be unwise for any of the family members to physicaly search, but I gotta say I think KP has a pair 10 times bigger than Haleigh's paternal parent if she is willing to go to the turf of the likes of Jerome W & Daniel Bass & confront them about anything.

Word all over the internet is how emotionless and heartless he is during this video, not even able to be sincere about his MISSING daughter and how very convenient that he leaves his new bride at home, whom incidentally, was the last one to see Haleigh. Since Misty is doing nothing to help find Haleigh, muchless give a straight timeline, then yes, she should get a job. If she won't lift a finger to help aid in finding Haleigh, then she should work. If she won't tell le the truth about Haleigh, then she should work. In my opinion, she isn't talking to the media because she states inconsistency after inconsistency. When Ron and Misty tell the truth, that is when Haleigh will be found.

Fwiw, I do believe Chad 100% that the two kids begged not to go back to Ron and Misty's, make no mistake about that. Living with a father who has a violent temper, imo and a babysitter that had a heavy drug problem, imo, would not make for a brady bunch atmosphere. Christmas stockings hanging on the fireplace indicated to me just how lazy and uncaring Ronald and Misty are/were and continue to be.

Sorry, but I am not grasping whatever point you are trying to make.

To the best of my knowledge, LE has NOT indicated that they cannot get straight answers out of Chad. As far as I know, there has been no indication from LE that he was anywhere in the vicinity of Haleigh on the day/night she went missing.

However...MISTY does have those particular issues surrounding her. I am not getting a good feeling about her absence when Ron & Teresa are going on camera.

1) 911 is for actual emergencies. Healing injuries from being whipped with sticks isn't exactly an emergency. She would have been told this.

2) Settlement from who? The car accident where her car hydroplaned on wet pavement and she was hit head on? She would be hard pressed to get a settlement, unless the other driver contributed more % wise to the accident than she did. Is Florida a Comparative Negligence or a No Fault state?

3) When Ron didn't return the children, there was no court ordered custody. He just flat didn't return them. Because there was no order from the court, he could not be charged with kidnapping or contempt. There's no way she could have said that's what he did. However, IF after the custody agreement was so ordered by the court, if she refused to return the children, she could and most likely would be charged with parental kidnapping and/or contempt of court.

4) Gone underground? I think that's nice fodder for Lifetime movies, but hardly a scenario in which a 19 year old would have the 411 on the network involved. Plus, if she was caught, she would still be charged with parental kidnapping and/or contempt of court.

Now, what realistic actions could she have taken? Not what you think you would have done, what realistic actions could a 19 year old with no resources take?

Haleigh's picture is all over the website where the video is hosted. Anyone watching the video would have seen her picture BEFORE viewing the video.

Fallen Angel - I have read all your post so far and you make some great points in alot of them.

I do feel the reason Chad is not seen is because as I stated in my other post he is working.

I know I do not hate Ron - I honestly don't think many people to hate Ron, I think they are more disgusted with Ron as at time I am.

We do agree that Ron should have been holding a picture of Haleigh.

So, good to see we can agree to disagree on some things and still respect each others opinions.

oh no doubt in my mind Chads at home taking care of the children and working that's why we don't see him much.

If by chance Haleigh is alive, which I fear she is not, but it may just be possible that one person has not seen that website or even heard of Haleigh yet. That one person could be the one that finds Haleigh.

HLN shows photos before & after they show the video (or part of it) while they try to convince the viewer how much emotion RC is showing.

Haven't watched the website -- just my choice.

I have not been watching TV today, so thank you for letting me know HLN are showing Haleigh's pictures.

As far as them trying to convince the viewers, this is one viewer they will NOT convience - I have seen too much of the real RC.

I waiting a long time ( as I am sure others did also) for that release from Ron's attorneys website - I was SHOCKED - what a disappointment that was..for me anyway.

I know this is going to sound like an off the wall question. To be honest, I am a little embarrassed to ask it, but it has been bothering me for a very long time.

I have noticed in several interviews -Misty has said, she woke up to go to the bathroom, but she never made it to the bathroom.

Now, I do not know if everyone is like me, but if I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom there is no holding it back. I have to go to the bathroom. So, I do not believe Misty did not make it to the bathroom.

Why would she lie about something so silly? To me something does not fit here, is it just another silly lie she made up or could there be more to this...but, what?

LOL I wonder about that too .... I think it is safe to say that at some point between then and now she has made it to the bathroom. The lie part I have no idea... but they even lie about who picked Haleigh up that day so........ :confused:

Since Misty is doing nothing to help find Haleigh, muchless give a straight timeline, then yes, she should get a job. If she won't lift a finger to help aid in finding Haleigh, then she should work. If she won't tell le the truth about Haleigh, then she should work. In my opinion, she isn't talking to the media because she states inconsistency after inconsistency. When Ron and Misty tell the truth, that is when Haleigh will be found.

Fwiw, I do believe Chad 100% that the two kids begged not to go back to Ron and Misty's, make no mistake about that. Living with a father who has a violent temper, imo and a babysitter that had a heavy drug problem, imo, would not make for a brady bunch atmosphere. Christmas stockings hanging on the fireplace indicated to me just how lazy and uncaring Ronald and Misty are/were and continue to be.

I do not think that Chad lied about the children not wanting to go back to Ron's but I'm not sure how that it means that much. Why wouldn't they want to be with their mommy?

My say on this matter is..............Crystal is the "Diney Mom" who only have her children 4 days a month.................of course, she shows them at lot of fun during this brief stay.

Some women can share with you many stories about "Disney Dad's" as well.

It is much easier to be the "fun" parent when you do not do all of the parenting that comes with caring for your children.

Well, I have to say I have never seen a stocking up in February. I do think when - was it TN or GGS or both - I can't remember now, but when they had some time to clean the home for the walk through. I have a feeling they did not have time to grab that stocking.

Peaches, say you are right about the stocking - Why in February - was some of the toys not put together for the children? That brakes my heart. I know my grandbabies ( and my kids when they were little) could not wait for their new toys to be put together.

In our family ( and I would think most family's) the toys are put together Christmas day, but sometimes Christmas is too busy, so it is the day after Christmas. Here it is February and the kids are still waiting for their Christmas toys to be put together?...that is not fair to those children imo....do you think it is fair?

My grandchildren are so fortunate to have such a big family...........at least 4 sets of grandparents on each side of the tree. They receive so much for Christmas, they can not enjoy possibly play with all the things they are given on Christmas Day. In fact, they have more than one Crhistmas. ....................so.................their parents put some toys up to take out over a period of time for them to really enjoy.

This works so well. I am pleased that they have found the way to make they children appreciate what another person gave them.

Mostly, my grandchildren enjoy one another ............. they would rather play than eat.

It also makes me happy that my grandbabies want to share with children who do not receive all the things they do. At Christmas my children/grandchildren adopt a family. BOY..........the joy they receive from shopping for another child that the know is going to love whatever they decide to buy.

My kids wanted their presents up and working immediately and if we had enough batteries (lol) they were.

Apple I think you raised a really good point that I hadn't actually thought about in depth before.
When Misty woke up that night, she needed to go to the loo, did she make it? In which direction is the bathroom from the master bedroom? IOW would she have had to go past the kitchen to get to it? If she did why would she notice the back door open in the dark, who looks around when needing the loo? You just wanna get there in time!
Why on earth didn't she use the bathroom that was in the bedroom?

Yes, I have noticed that. Although in the beginning I actually did feel for her. Grandmother losing her beloved granddaughter. UNTIL she started the covering for Misty and praising Misty like she did.
The wedding was bad enough but to say it was what Haleigh wanted, that was just sick and IMO a straight out lie.

Me either lizzie..I don't even like his lifestyle but I do feel sorry for him because his daughter is missing...maybe never to be returned home. It is the same I feel for Crystal and the way I feel for all family members.

I hear that violin music again ........ I was with him up till the wedding and Today Show interview following it, I'm not buying his act, my opinion only. I had not heard of the tattoo and everything else, I hadn't heard of the abuse allegations. The wedding at such an inappropriate time and his demeanor on the Today Show were enough. No poster on the internet could make me change my mind about him one way or another. HIS actions, HIS statements, have led me to my opinion. I've seen rumors some I believe some I don't, and that goes both ways. Crystal would not win a mother of the year award, however she wasn't the last one to see Haleigh, and she hasn't been singled out to say her story is inconsistent.

Because the bday party had to do with Crystal's birthday, as in singular, one day and I do not remember Haleigh or Jr participating in that bday party, correct me if I am wrong. The Christmas stockings had to do with their lifestyle. As others have stated, it's really not a huge deal, just an indicator that life was not as perfect as Teresa Neves claims it was, not even close, nor was Misty the end all, be all girlfriend as TN states.

I really don't care which part of these dysfunctional family units bring Haliegh's disappearance into the media. I even think the bickering brings the case to the media in a way that a united front would not.

Good point. I don't think the media left the case because of the division of the family. After GR outed Ron's drug use and abuse it was just a matter of time before he would lawyer up and hide.

Ron looked like he could chew nails when that question was asked and he did not offer to answer it. Or offer an explanation or try to bail Misty out. Misty was on her own with that one. Never once said Ron was lying about being at work, fgs if we all know anything, it's that Ron was at work and he "dunno anything". The time before he went to work and the time after work is what I question.

That is the time frame I question as well. If he worked 8 hours as was stated that LE is satisfied with his 8 hours at work, what time did he work and what was he doing before and after work. It seems very unlikely that Misty would just happen to wake up when he was just getting home at 3:27 AM. I think she was standing in the doorway waiting for him so she could make the 911 call when he got back. And the rest is the mystery of what actually happen and what we all have as theory.

Now aint that the truth. I just can't get passed Ron marrying Misty. Why would he do that....I just don't get it.

the only thing I can think of is he was trying to cover his butt ... now for what I do not know, maybe it was just because Misty is a minor and he didn't want charges based on that? Maybe it was because Misty knows something about him, he'd rather not get out?

It's all a mystery, but he for sure did not look happy to be saying "I do"

Does it make a difference what *we don't know*? Chad and Crystal have not had ten interviews with LE have they? It appears what LE found when they were interviewed was sufficient to establish where they were.

YES that we know..........and I just don't understand how Ron could marry a woman that won't tell the truth even to save Haleighs life.

No we don't know exactly where they were, we do know that LE continues to say Misty is the key, and if it were Chad or Crystal that were the key and telling inconsistent stories why would they continue to pin it on Misty?

Oh i have no clue how many interviews Crystal or Chad have had with the LE or FBI. I do know that they took Crystal to an abandon house for some reason........I wonder why. Was that where her cell ping came from? So yes it does make a difference where they were but no we don't need to know i guess...........
