1. Did anyone confirm that Misty hired a lawyer?

2. Did LE confirm that they are the source for AH?

3. I saw several posters reference that Ron lied about the bus stop. Has LE confirmed this? Did Ron and/or Misty publicly admit this?

Thanks for any info. Seems we are still where we were on day 1. I see LE was recently quoted in a newspaper indicating they aren't getting the info they need. From whom? The public or the family? TIA. IMO

I did address this way back. The only question I can answer with certainity is that AH does name a LE source. A Lt. Johnny Greenwood of the Putnam County Sheriff's Dept.

Isn't it odd that Santos didn't have Ron followed and arrested that morning? If someone sped recklessly in my neighborhood, nearly killing my kids, I'd be dialing 911. I wonder why Ron wasn't arrested that morning.

It's a little different up here at least for little ones and the bus picks 'em up in front of their homes.

Now I admit I've taken one or both of 'em to school instead of them riding the bus, but if there was a question of them getting there on time, and the bus was still a choice, they'd be taking the bus. If they're late it's the bus driver's responsibility.

same here...i never heard that Misty took Haleigh to school that morning....it's possible that Misty did take her to school, or to the bus stop on other mornings though...maybe Misty was nowhere to be found & RC had to get Haleigh up, on his own, & already angry about Misty's whereabouts??...we don't know what time Misty made it to visit her Dad in the hospital (for that matter, we don't even know for sure she was at a hospital, although i'd say LE has verified that by now, either way)

Didn't they say the windows of the vehicle was dark? Maybe they could not see into the windows and couldn't tell who it was and just assumed it was Ron. Anyway, I think LE has verified all of this one way or other. There is so much information out right now that is hard to keep it straight. Hopefully whenever this is solved and LE can/will talk it will be clearer. JMO

Maybe "borrowing a mortgage in her own name" means she has a mortgage on a mobile home (I thought those were financed like a vehicle). The phrase "borrowing a mortgage" sounds odd to me. If I was saying it, I would say "got a mortgage". In 2006 CS would have been 21 yo. She must have had a big down payment and a good paying job unless she got one of those funny mortgages where you get one for 80% and another one for 20%. Those are the reason a lot of people are in foreclosure today. JMO

I agree it's possible that happen but when could have it happen. She went to school, was seen after Ron left for work by neighbors and he worked his whole shift and from the time he left work and the 911 call sure doesn't seem like it's enough time to kill haleigh and hide her body.

That could be but then there would be foreclosure papers available or something/anything or were ever there. There is nothing in Florida in Crystal's name. Zippo, nada and El Paso. IMO this is just another "item" that is off but this whole case of a missing little girl is "off".

actually both are theories of mine ... Haleigh might have been punched on the head before she got to school, that morning...(while RC was driving like a crazy person?) ... maybe during the next 7 hours or so, her brain swelled slowly, & she died shortly after getting home from school

or RC was angry with Misty, immediately after she got home, after picking Haleigh up at the bus stop, & little Haleigh got punched/hit on the head at that time, & died later at the home....

Maybe "borrowing a mortgage in her own name" means she has a mortgage on a mobile home (I thought those were financed like a vehicle). The phrase "borrowing a mortgage" sounds odd to me. If I was saying it, I would say "got a mortgage". In 2006 CS would have been 21 yo. She must have had a big down payment and a good paying job unless she got one of those funny mortgages where you get one for 80% and another one for 20%. Those are the reason a lot of people are in foreclosure today. JMO

There were 22 combined absences total. The rest were after Haleigh had disappeared. She averaged 2 days a month of unexcused absences. That really isn't a lot considering she was only in kindergarten. And in December she only had 2 absences, 1 of which was excused.

You sure hit the nail on the head, with all of your points bugout. What a great post. Did you find it interesting that le has also interviewed Ronald's co-workers? I bet that was fascinating in that no one from his work has stepped up to say what a hard working young man he is, even though that's all he cried about initially when Haleigh vanished. Strange how he couldn't shed one of those crocodile tears in todays video. Some may argue he is all cried out, but given the fact we haven't seen or heard from Ronald since the Today Show disaster, I would think he'd have a lot of tears built up by now.

Maybe it wasn't a settlement but a payment for her car loss or damage?
I don't know much about how that works,but if she had car insurance,even if she was at fault,wouldn't her insurance co. have to pay for her car and her injuries? IMO

It would depend on the type of insurance she had. Liability only covers the other vehicle involved and not the at fault vehicle. Uninsured motorist only covers your damage if the other vehicle is at fault and has no insurance. The only way her car would be covered would be if she had full coverage.

Good point,bookie.I forgot that there are different levels of insurance,and by law you are only required to have Ins. to protect the other driver.IMO

I'm reading over AH's article entitled The Bald Truth on CNN Jane Velez-Mitchell! and I'm re-reading the part where Ron's neighbor asked him why he was driving so fast past the bus stop, on the last day Haleigh was at school.

The neighbor indicated that Ron's answer to him was that he was upset, because Haleigh was missing. The neighbor then reminds him that it was BEFORE Haleigh went missing - at which time Ron purportedly told him that it must have been because

Haleigh spilled something on her shirt & he was running late for school.

But he couldn't have been running late for school if the bus stop kids were still waiting for the bus! Why would Ron say that? Why would Haleigh spilling something on her shirt cause him to speed away like that? I can't make heads or tails of that comment. Is he actually remarking about a completely different day, another time when Haleigh missed the bus because she needed to change her clothes due to a spill on her shirt?

Why would Ron have such a poor recollection of the last morning that Haleigh went to school?

She has been missing so long now. If my count is correct it is 94 days. Too long. I was thinking today about the children that have been missing after Haleigh. Those found, like Sandra Cantu. So beautiful. The little girl last night that was thankfully found alive after being abducted while playing. It is a nightmare that children are not safe in their homes or safe to play in the yard. Nothing surprises me anymore in this case. The more information that is revealed the more outrageous it is. It seems people thrive on drugs there.

I think the focus is on the drug dealers because of all the people they come into contact with.

The drug dealers may not want a thing in the world to do with kidnapping little children - but the people who contact them to get drugs from them are going to come from every walk of life imagineable - & some probably UNimagineable.

And that reminds me of a comment I read on that website - how the heck does Misty pay for the drugs she has taken? She is not employed in any traditional job, after all.

I look at the booking photos of Amber & Nay Nay & they both look so very young to me. It really was not that long ago that they were Haleigh's age. And it really would not be much longer before Haleigh would have been as old as Misty, Amber & Nay Nay.

Both of those girls need to get some drug rehab. They need it badly. Drugs have taken a toll on them and they do not look healthy. But the truth of the matter is, they will probably move on to someone else. It seems to be a way of life for them now. It is sad.

I'm not sure unless it was drugs at a party where they share. Usually when people do lots of drugs it shows on their face. Their face is broken out and looks dull. I didn't see that on Misty's face when they showed close ups of her during her interviews.

I do remember Nay Nay saying Ron didn't want Misty hanging out with her. Now we know he had a very good reason.

Yes that's what I meant. It is very sad. I can't imagine being addicted to something so bad you would do that to yourself. In 5 years they will look like they are in their 40's instead of 20's if they keep on the same track they are going now.

I wanted to comment on this yesterday but forgot once the video came out. In the AH article about Jerome the part that really really bothered me the most was this:

snipped from a paragraph with Kim talking about her meeting with Jermone: “I was polite and just treated him like a human being, and he was all ears,” she tells me. In fact, he actually considered allowing Nay Nay to go into rehab, says Picazio, and seemed hopeful about a fresh start.

SERIOUSLY, HE actually considered ALLOWING this poor teen to get help? I don't need to read about all he has been charged with, picked up on or found guilty of to know that this man is scum, THAT says it all to me. NO human has the right to deny these girls of help if they can get it and it isn't his decision. Kim has balls at least, because I think at that point I might have spit in his face or hit him, he doesn't deserve anyones respect because he certainly doesn't give it. IMO
