You know...just another of my hardly worth mentioning thoughts...but...I thought George and Cindy looked pretty darned tanned and healthy tonight. They sort of looked like just another couple you'd see (and dislike) at the country club. My folks used to call the type Noveau Riche...that's the impression I got. If George had been wearing a blazer, he would probably have been mistaken for Ted Knight in Caddyshack. Honestly, I would bet there are "evil bloggers" who show more signs of the toll Caylee's murder has taken on them.

Is the defense under a time limit to name a DP attorney?

To my knowledge there is nothing in the court rules that set a time limit on the naming of a DP qualified counsel. The prosecution has filed a motion regarding this issue which asks the court to inquire into the naming of the counsel so I would recommend they have counsel by then. JMO

That would have been their past interview on the Today show IIRC..she said Casey and Caylee stopped her..she wrote this before she even knew anything IIRC...not that I even think it happened..I think Morgan has learned to watch everything they do..sometimes he needs to be reminded of a few things..but he is catching on IMO

I love our animals too, and cannot stand to see them hurt - thankfully, we've only ever lost one, but that was one too many. partying was the last thing on my mind when I found her dead. I called the vet as soon as i saw her stretched out in the paddock, but she was already gone. It was a snake bite, the vet said, and she would have passed almost instantly. That was a sort of consolation.

But Caylee was a child... and the only one in her family, at that. How anyone of a family of 3 living in the one house would mistake the date the fourth - a two-year-old - goes "missing" is beyond me.

Larry did a great thing, asking for questions from bloggers. There's an interesting communication thing I learned when I studied NLP--it's possible to communicate an idea directly to someone, without their being able to figure out if it's something you mean to say to them--such as, "Joe, I saw the most amazing thing on the freeway this morning, a guy leaning out his car window yelling to the guy next to him, "you are such an ***!" And Joe gets the message but can't really pin down for sure that you've told him, "you are such an ***!"

So LKL was presenting the questions to the Ants as they came from bloggers ... so he wasn't responsible for the questions ... so they couldn't really go off on him. LOL.

But Cindy was losing it, I expected her to blow at any minute.

I did not see the first interview with LKL (guess I'll have to go find it now) but, question--is there a marked difference in the demeanors from then to now? I would expect differences because of different circumstances (and different goals the Anthonys have now), but Cindy and George looked very increasingly uncomfortable; there were times when Cindy looked alarmed, and funny that she looked at BC at those times. Maybe she thought LKL was going places that BC had made off-limits.

Anyway, it was great to see their discomfort.

Funny how that little bear came out after the break and just sat there; Larry didn't address it for a long time. Cindy kept glancing at it, clearly that's where she wanted the conversation to go.

But last night what Casey's former lawyer said on Nancy Grace got me thinking,he said wanted to use a mental defense, which was not a very good publicity tact on his part if he is still in anyway supportive of Casey. He is said in so many words in front of the entire world he thought/thinks Casey is guilty. I wonder if he even realizes how damning this sounds to the average person, and if the prosecution will, or can use this in the trial.

I agree with most folks here that George and Cindy are clearly insane.

A couple things:

1. I ran a nonprofit for more than 15 years. I think that when asked about "salaries", they skimmed the question. With the "foundation" being run out of the home, they can claim portions of personal expenses as "operating". For example.....Your mortgage is a thousand bucks a month, utilities a couple hundred more. The foundation business happens in two room of the house (offices for IRS tax purposes) and a third of the utilities are tied to those ahem...offices. Same with cars and mileage and such. So they could legally write off about a third of expenses this way. It's ridiculous of course and tarnishes the names of so many valuable nonprofits, but they can get around the salary question this way.

2. A little thing I think I heard, but am not sure cuz my DVR went out. When Cindy was talking about those stupid bears (c'mon, every county already has a program like that in place)......did I hear her say this?????????

What I found most interesting is that Zenaida's name was not mentioned even once...no name of a babysitter or nanny. When asked who they thought killed Caylee...they wouldn't answer, but said they had their suspicions.

Because of the civil case? Do you think they are under orders now, to not mention Zanny/Zenaida's name? It was an interesting omission.

I read your comment, and couldn't agree more. They were squirming all over the place weren't they? LK took the heavy questions to them, and you could tell they were super uncomfortable. I loved it when Brad and Cindy just had that little tussle, Brad did the right thing and just shut up and let Mrs. Rankthony take over.

I'll bet that they asked Larry not to discuss ZFG, and he agreed. It would just add more fuel to the fire with the civil case. The Anthony's are in hot water, right up to their neck.

May Caylee rest in peace with the Angels. May she also know that none of this was her fault.

George and Cindy Anthony will go down in history as the two dysfunctional parents that raised a lying murdering daughter. I cannot recall (well maybe Scott Petersons parents to a slight degree) ever a case where the parents of the accused got so much publicity, and neg press, all brought on by themselves.

Larry may have planned this whole thing based on the blogging reaction to the scheduled Oprah show. If so, that was actually a brilliant move on his part. I think he did a very good job controlling the interview with the Ants tonight.

I thought the same thing Crime. What a shrewd way to gain popularity and ratings. Have the Anthony's on, ask them tough questions, let them stew, let them argue between themselves, let them lie, and tell everyone that Casey is the Mother of the Year. Let America see the Anthony's just as they are.

I'm going to do some investigating on the photos though. I think that one were Casey is praying to the porcelain God wasn't her 21st birthday.
