Interesting article.. I didn't know that there was so much money to be earned being on corporate boards.. I've always felt that democrats despised big business and corporations.. IMO :shrug: looks like this could be a problem for Dodd's wife..but his re-election is in trouble so he may not be coming back.so at least he has his wife's income to fall back on.. which many Americans aren't able to aren't able to have these opportunities to become financially successful. IMO

I think you see this with many families of politicians. They feed off the success of one and then ascend to the seat when the one leaves.

True, there are so many perks that come along with a political office .. all one has to do is drop a name and I think this has been a problem with earmarks as well.. earmarks going to certain foundations, hospitals, museums..etc.. for canopies, projectors, parks..etc.. it's all who you know.. IMO
