Postal Stamps Rise 2 Cents on Monday
The price of a first-class stamp will climb to 44 cents, though people who planned ahead and stocked up on Forever stamps will still be paying the lower rate.

I am surprised anyone is still buying stamps. Who needs them? Paying bills and ordering stuff on the net eliminates their use. On the odd times that I actually need a stamp, I use the automatic machine that prints out the exact postage needed and pay with the ATM.

I do agree! I think I went a record ten yrs w/o using a stamp....I'm probably the cause of the increase!!!

Use to buy three papers a day but not in the last four years. Read online and Love the Australian online paper and the NYPost. Just a thought, but I think if the papers set up a paper container they would sell more. Doing away with the paper when done reading is a pain in places where the trash is seperated.

I agree, but we have great recycling here in FL.....Three a day? LOL, now I can come out of the closet! I used to by the Star, Advertiser and USA Today when I was stationed in Ha'waii!!!!!!:scared:
