OctoMom is being sued ... but the person behind the lawsuit is keeping their identity a secret!!!

Mega-mouthpiece Gloria Allred is letting everyone know she has been hired in a secret case against Nadya Suleman, but she won't reveal who her mysterious client is or what she is suing over. That is, not until she holds a press conference today at 11:30 AM PT to give away all the juicy details.

All Gloria will say is that she is doing it "in an attempt to protect Nadya Suleman's children."

Selfless as always.

Alred is a busybody and the octomom....well, I just dont get her. I saw her on tv getting a tattoo. She has so many babies to care for, when mine were infants, I was lucky to find time to use the bathroom and wash my hair. ...:confused:

While I think Octomom is a nutcase... Allred is the one that annoys me the most.. she's a busybody.... can't stand her in the least.

I think her goal is to get those babies away from the octomom. She will stop at nothing. She tried before and DR. Phil stepped in and hired help for her which did not work out. She is another one who wants to be right and get her own way. it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Allred is filing some kind of suit to make sure that Octomom doesn't profit off her children... couldn't stand to listen to her.. shut her off... so went back to read about it.. but guess who was talking now... PAUL PETERSON.. remember him.. Jeff Stone from the Donna Reed Show... He is a child actor advocate... so he's in the deal with Gloria...:confused:

What channel do you have on? I missed it! I do remember Paul Peterson. I hink he was tramatized by his role as a kid on the show. :confused: Gloria needs to get out of everyones business. Octomom needs all the help she can get. Maybe if Gloria is SOOOOO concerned she should go over and help her change diapers...LOL

Attorney Gloria Allred is filing a civil suit to “attempt to protect” Nadya Suleman’s octuplets, her office just announced.

Allred is holding a news conference at 11:30 a.m. to give more details on the suit, which will be filed later today. She represents Angels in Waiting, the nonprofit that was in Nadya’s La Habra house the first week or so after the octuplets arrived home from the hospital.

The arrangement lasted only about a week. On a previous “Dr. Phil” show, Nadya accused the Angel volunteers of spying on her and undermining her as a mom. The Angels, some of whom are nurses, accused Nadya of being a bad mother who fed her babies only when the cameras were on.

Just last week, Social Services paid Nadya a visit at her La Habra home after a school reported that one of her older sons, who is autistic, showed up with a black eye and human bite marks.

I'm not a huge fan of Gloria Allred, but I thought her 'Angels in Waiting' offer to Suleman was generous...and in the interests of the children.
I would think a rational and psychologically sound person would willingly accept donations and help with all these children.
I truly think the Suleman woman is psychologically and socially impaired.

With all of the many people out there who believe that Octomom Nadya Suleman is an unfit mother, at least one person was bound to take legal action.

That person is Gloria Allred, feminist attorney to the stars.

Allred announced today that she is suing to protect the infant octuplets, citing California state child labor laws as they relate to the entertainment industry, and specifically the Reality TV bits that Suleman has already done and is planning to do.

The lawyer has some standing, perhaps, because she represented "Angels in Waiting," a non-profit nursing agency which had volunteered their services to Suleman before Octomom fired them for "spying."

Allred was joined by Paul Petersen, a former embattled child star who played young Jeff Stone on the Donna Reed show and in 1990 formed "A Minor Consideration," an advocacy group for children in the entertainment industry.

Petersen said he has kept an eye on the Octo-developments since the kids were born.

"How long have I been concerned? From the get-go -- we all knew what was going on," he said at a news conference.

Police and child welfare officials visited the Suleman home in La Habra, Calif. last week to question Octomom about bite marks and a black eye on her 4-year-old autistic son.

Allred said that the suit to intervene on behalf of the children only covers the octuplets born on Jan. 26, but she is concerned for the other children

Got me... I had a hard time with the three I had...:tonguewag: and they had years between them... the oldest and the youngest are 11 years apart...lol.

But.. I just think it's disgusting of Allred to do these "media" announcements ... because she got her toes stepped on. You think people aren't watching what is going on with those babies.. Definately not defending the nutcase Mom... but Allred always seems to jump on the bandwagon of something.. she was a big defender of Rob Lowe's nanny that was suing him... funny how she has been silent about that one... the woman just annoys me..

Ahhhhhhhhhhh it's the ex Jeff Stone filing the law suit... he wants to make sure the $$$$$ are saved for the kids off of anything that Octo comes up with... geesh... Wonder if the judge will tell them to mind their own business...

Gloria Allred just announced what her new fight with OctoMom Nadya Suleman is about -- she wants to make sure the octobabies are gonna get paid for being her miniature cash cows.

Allred's mystery client is a man named Paul Peterson, the president of "A Minor Consideration," which is a company that protects the rights of child actors.

Peterson said he filed a petition in Orange County to appoint a guardian for the estate of the octobabies -- to make sure Nadya doesn't waste all the money she makes from constantly selling them out.

Allred said she also sent a letter to the California Division of Labor Standards & Enforcement, to investigate whether or not OctoMom has violated laws set up to protect "child performers."

And the very fact her autistic son is not properly taken care of is enough for me. I cannot believe those babies were allowed to come home with her.

She is turning those innocent children into cash cows for her own satisfaction. The first bill she needs to pay is to the state of California. If the children were properly provided for I would not care. Someone needs to step in. At least Gloria will follow through on this ridiculous situation.

Exactly my thoughts... not saying this woman isn't a little out there.. but where is she different from the many other reality shows of multiple children.

Allred and Peterson need to keep their noses out of it till they have something to point that she did wrong.

As for Ocyomom, I can not understand why she would do such a thing...but it's done and she seems to be a good mother....I believe she has a severe mental problem with her ocsession for children. However, it's in a nice way....here she is trying to keep 14 children when some can't cope with one.....so in that sense I won't down her too much....

As for Gloria Allred....now thats another story...Glorisa Allred needs to mind her own business...as for saying that Octomom is exploiting her children....well NG shows her children on TV every night...we have many, many children and babies on TV...we had the Jackson 5, the Osmond's....I can not even think of 1/4 of them...so why didn't she or isn't she going after all of those parents...

Gloria Allred only wants to be in the media....she is upset that Octomom thru her out....to be perfectly honest, I would have thrown her out also, if she was calling DCF every 10 minutes to report me...She is a busy body, a trouble maker and anything else I may think of....

If Octomom needs to make money to support her 14 kids, let her do it...Obviously she is taking care of her children.....there are many people out here with just as many children that are bilking the welfare system...but Octomom is trying to make it without welfare....so let her do it....

The way I look at it...every minute a child is being born and ends up on welfare....(our taxes) what is the difference if 8 were born at one time to one mother.....so far she hasn't asked for welfare and is giving it he bes shot....That's not to say that I agree with her having these 8 children, but it's not my business...and it certainly is not Gloria Allred's business.....

As far as I'm concerns Gloria Allred has not got one thing that is concrete against how Octomom is taking care of her children and if she wants to show them to the public she has every right just like everyone else wo is proud of their children....

Gloria just wants to be in the limelight.....she makes me sick....why would she try and prevent this woman from making money to take care of her 14 children? It's absurd. If Octomom had asked for welfare she would have had something to say about that...but the woman is trying to use the only resource she has, and that's having given birth to 8 children at one time (which in itself in a record breaker)...and if getting movie deals or book deals, let it be....at least she is trying to support her children on her own....

Gloria Allred would have something to say no matter what, because she is pizzed that she was thrown out of Octomoms home and it was made public......Gloria Allred is the biggest busy body I ever saw...she needs to mind her own business.....jmo
