To be honest with you I shouldn't even respond because I didn't read the whole article. I just assumed what it was about and that alone sickened me. If this was about racial tensions rising again and anti black, I am so completely saddened. I thought the election of President Obama was a sign of this being our past.

This article isn't about hate, it is the reemergence once again of the race card. Any negative opinion about Obama and his job performance and out comes the card, forget the message of the group, brand them racists.
I know that "ignorant" is an adjective, but it should be a noun to replace racist. We could call all racists "ignorants" for the lack intelligence. Racists is too common place now and not degrading enough.

This "hate" seems to be a one way street, a person is only guilty of hate if s/he is also Caucasian. I am Hispanic, born here, as were my parents but I celebrate Cinco de Mayo every year and have great pride in my Mexican heritage. Blacks have their holidays, heroes, black pride etc more power to them, I understand that ethnic pride.
What's wrong if Caucasians express white pride, why is that condemned and my pride applauded, streets are blocked off while I celebrate flying my Mexican flag and any expression of white pride is followed by shouts of "racists". I really don't care so much about white pride, that is their fight but this hypocrisy of condemning one ethnic group's pride while praising others only increases the tensions between the races.
Did you read the article? Sounds like you didn't. Flag flying and pride weren't the issue:rolleyes::thumbdown:

I am sorry but with groups like these it is absolutely nothing to do with "white pride". They are extremists and racists regardless of what they do or tone down to get more followers. They are cultists and dangerous people.
I am caucasion on the face of it, but I am not full blooded white either. I carry American pride because I consider myself representative of it. I do not see a person's skin color as having any real value, as has been said in the past by far wiser voices, judge by the content of one's character and not by the color of their skin.

There is no other reason not to like or support President Obama, unless it IS his skin color.
It's sad to say, but the sickness in this country towards people of color will never end, and it's only because of the fear and ignorance of those who choose to perpetuate the hate.
In their little minds they feel threatened by anyone different or smarter.
Sad situation.
Wow. So people are not longer free to decide if they disagree with another person? How do you come to the conclussion that all of Obama's ideas are correct?
Would it be OK for me to say then that there is no other reason not to like or support President Bush, unless it IS his skin color? The statement is just as rediculous as yours!

This same "love" was expressed, very clearly, at the JM/SP rallies, and at the so-called Tax protest crowds.
Personally, I believe that FOX sincerely meant for their Tea Parties to be a party of TAX protests. However, the people in the crowd were a carbon copy of the JM/SP rallies.
JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION.

How ludicrous but alas sad (and ignorant) that you would equate or parallel John McCain/ Sarah Palin and their supporters and millions of Americans as racists or full of hate. (such as eluded/depicted in article)
Distressing to say the least.

IMO, Sarah and John both pandered to the hate crowd, during their losing campaign.....So sad, that hate was part of their platform.........
