If this woman took Sandra to the church and killed her there for whatever reason I think that was premeditaded because she never asked her mom if she could take her there.
I just hope this woman didn't kill her for some stuped reason like she got mad at her or she disliked her.
I can't think of any smart reasons for killing anyone either?

Hi Sun......
Too bad it is not Florida. We would be able to see this women in her interviews with LE. Then again it my be for the best. Still I sure am curious what she had to say and what kind of questions were thrown at her. Wonder who her lawyer will be.
Hi TREE! Yes, I agree ~ I think we've gotten spoiled following cases in FL where everything's out in the open. I just hope Mark Geragos doesn't step in to defend her. MOO

It sure should be Bama. Wonder if she has priors. It is also a 3 strikes state.
We know there are somethings...like petty theft IMO

if it was my cat i would be more than just angry, would think about killing the grandfather but never in my wildest dreams the child.
i dont think thats the motive.
I've got to admit, I'd be thinking the same exact thing. I also don't think it's the motive, unless one of them belonged to her daughter, and in her (MOO) demented mind she saw this as justified. MOO

We know now that she has a prior or 2 with petty theft from Target I think.........Target seems to be a favorite for some people.....

Yes, that's what I'm not grasping. Sandra wasn't her child. She could've just told her to go home and leave her daughter alone if it was as simple as just not wanting them to be playing together.
Yes I agree their is just not something adding up here. I guess I just find it hard to believe that this was deliberate, for one being that she is the Mother of a child herself. I still wonder if she is covering for someone.

KPIX also reports that Huckaby was recently convicted for petty theft in San Joaquin County. According to court records, the judge ordered her to be examined by physicians after Huckaby claimed she was not mentally competent to stand trial. It was determined that she was competent and she pleaded guilty.
Huckaby was also convicted in November of 2006 for petty theft at the Bellflower Superior Court in Los Angeles County.

Something else I would like to know is if Sandra's sister was actually at her house that day, or if that was just a lie.
As I understand, she was very small for her age.
I thought I heard/read somewhere that she only weighed 45 lbs.

And where was the 5 yr old when this went down? SC was a good sized girl. Wonder if she fought back. Perhaps she was drugged first and that is why they are waiting Tox results before a COD is established.
I think the 5yr. old was at home with her gp's..I think MH called for SC to come to her while she was walking home and got her in her car, took her to the church, questioned her, got mad and killed her...
OR, MH is a sexual child offender...She might have made a pass at SC and SC said she was going to tell,so she had to kill her....

California doesn't have "Sunshine" laws like Florida. I wouldn't expect to see or hear much evidence before the hearings or the trial.
Can I say good though doubt NG would have time to cover it anyhow?

As much as I abhor what Sandra's grandpa was doing, why take it out on Sandra? I'm just not figuring out at all what the motive could possibly be, maybe because I was sure it would've been a SO instead of MH.
Well Sandra was a people person, seemed to talk to everyone, so maybe Mom also spoke with them. Took the sunshine off MH if she was also part of this group. God only knows what Sandra May have seen MH do or do to her daughter that infuriated enough to kill. Guess we wait, doubt we will hear any circumstance on Tuesday JMO

I think there has to be a male involved in all this. The more I think about it the less it makes sence.

I have a few questions...I still question whether or not this monster had help, even if it was just help hiding evidence. How did she know where to hide the body? LE made a comment at one point (can't remember when) that he didn't even know that the retention pond was THERE.
Actually, she herself told one of the reporters she talked to prior to her arrest that she was familiar with the farm and had spent time there when she was younger. It was one of the many red flags in her story that led me to be not at all surprised when I heard of her arrest.
She's a liar, just like Casey Anthony. None of her story about Sandra's visit, her cell and keys, etc. made any sense.
A 55 or 60 pound suitcase? Not that hard to maneuver and lift if you are desperate. C'mon gals, don't sell ourselves short by saying we need help from the menfolk for everything. This gender bias of "there must be a man involved" is very pervasive and would be downright insulting if we weren't talking about the murder of a little girl.
One only need look at how many female teachers have been arrested for sexual relations with students both male and female recently to erase doubt that females can be sexual predators too.

My mind's really wandering on this especially after the arrests for the child porn ring. Maybe MH was the lure, drugged Sandra and then something went terribly wrong with the plan ~ Sandra died from the drugs? MOO
Thanks Oodi.
I just wonder how hard it would be for her to carry that suit case around an toss it in the water. Wonder if she had help????
I've heard that Sandra was only 45 lbs, and the suitcase probably less than 5 lbs. I'm 5'5" 125 lbs and in my younger years, I used to carry a 50 lb bag of dog food with no sweat. I don't think it would be too hard.

I really have my doubts she was a sunday school teacher, she may have said that thinking the LE would never suspect her. I think she made it up. Doesn't appear she's well versed in the 10 commandments let alone teaching kids about religion. I don't think she's insane, I think maybe another Lying Murderer.JMO
RIP Sandra
God Bless the 5 yr. old( I remember her name but won't use it, she's innocent in all this.
To top it off, she was a sunday school teacher at her grandfather's church...

Sorry Sun.......I am not caught up on this case............What child porn ring?
I got it from this ~
"Now, according to the Tracy Press, investigators in the case say they are looking at 60 individuals in the Tracy area who have been identified trafficking in child pornography, along with 78 "registered" sex offenders.
It is believed to be the first time in the U.S. that police have publicly acknowledged the huge population of known but not arrested child pornography suspects in a missing child case.
While visiting the homes of "registered" sex offenders is common in missing children cases, the public is mostly unaware that U.S. law enforcement has also identified hundreds of thousands of criminals trafficking in child pornography. "

Yes, I'm sure. A friend of mine who lives in Tracy was out with the search parties with his dog in the area of those ponds. Those ponds are used for the processing of cow excrement.
Wow, so they process waste, wonder if they add lime and other break down chemicals. Must make for some killer tomator plants, LOL.
My Dad always gardened with manure, preferably horse but years later science discovered unprocessed can cause some morbid diseases. Makes you wonder how everyone lived to a ripe ole age.
The pictures of the "ponds" remind me of our cranberry bogs here, driving around these ponds can be harrowing. Someone had to know the area JMO

Regarding the article saying that Tracy police are now looking a possible ring....that was BEFORE Sandra's little body was found. It sounds to me like that was also BEFORE they had any idea what really happened. Child goes missing > it's not readily obvious who's to blame > first place you check is sexual predators, etc. etc.

I believe it is the unlawful killing of a child 12 years old and under.

What an interesting way the law is written. Is there lawful killing of a child?
In a word... NO. It's just a stiffer penalty, hence the reason for the distinction.
