There was a man who said he saw a man and a girl in a boat....did he seem them in the irrigation pond? Is that normal...to be in a boat in an irrigation pond?...that seems sooooo bizarre to me....

I saw a video of this man and found him to be extremely concerned and credible. He will not divulge all the particulars but he did say if Sandra was murdered before April 2 and dumped into the irrigation pond that it could not be Sandra.

I think it is just haunting him and he wants to be sure, if not, he thinks he saw Sandra and her killer and says he can identify the man.

He reported this right away but LE never got back with him so he drove from Oakland to Tracy yesterday to hand carry his statement to LE.

Now I know in my own hometown people fish in retention ponds that have water in them from rain runoff. Birds will transport fish from pond to pond and they will drop them from their bills into bodies of water and they can grow there and some do fish those areas.

I don't know if the perp or perps knew these were just irrigation ponds and are bleed off frequently to irrigate the fields. They may have thought it was just for runoff rain water pond and people do put in small John boats to paddle around those. Iirc it said this was about a 10 acre pond by about 10 feet deep. That is a pretty good amount of water.

LE said Mr. Williams statement did not further their investigation. Now what LE says have to be taken with a grain of salt. They always have a motive for saying everything they do but iirc LE went to Oakdale and did SWs and they were looking at a boat on one of the properties. I cant remember the details now, but I remember aproudmom putting up something about that. That strikes me odd that they would be looking at a boat.

Patrick or Michael Anastasio..he lives in the trailer park told police he saw a stranger in the park and had not thought much about it but thinking back he says the stranger just did not seem right. He gave this tip to the police early on after thinking about it for a few days

yeah GB that is connected to CS the oakdale address I saw the house on the video it had a truck and boat in the drive way but it was not a small little fishing boat but they were searching it and had shovels digging in the yard..but guess they did not get anything there since we have not heard anything..it was reported a relative of CS and his car had been seen there before..so may just have been checking places he went to..not sure..the LE would not tell the neighbors why they were there..don't have the link but it is on a video on here somewhere or in the one that is closed..very early on..when his SIL was on here I think or right after that. I'm in a brain fog this morning, not enough coffee. Not even sure I know how to ask this question.

If we believe this Fred Williams made up the theft of the suitcase story, what would be the purpose? Why would he even mention it at all? Seems to me that story would just tie the suitcase to the church. I'm not getting how even mentioning this alleged theft would benefit him. If he didn't throw out that story, nobody would have a clue where the suitcase came from IMO.

Seems to me there has to be another tie between that suitcase, the pastor and/or the church in order for him to throw this out, or either it's true.

Does that make sense?

I don't either as far as the boat it was said by LE he CS has a canoe if this guy did see someone with a boat he either got scared off or it has nothing to do with this case is what I am thinking..do you know what river her scent was hit on??that is the only thing I can think of is this tipster scared the person off or it never happened or was not her..jmo

Plus, if a woman reported stolen...why hasnt she came forwad? And really, who would report a suitcase you are putting in a "rummage" stolen?? I also read that there was no rumage sale scheduled at the church....but there was a yard sale at Fred Williams home. Also, the only report of items stolen in the area was a purse from a home across the street from Fred Williams. Now I am not sure any of this is the case.

IMO...It is a little odd....Fred Williams has a key to the church...access to the church. I mentioned this theory before...and it is MOO...Baptist churches usually have baptismal pools in the church....I wonder if maybe Sandra went to the church ...w Fred there....and something happened..he may have drowned her in the pool...which could answer why they would be waiting on toxicology reports...to see if there is chemicals from the pool in her lungs? and if she was drowned before being placed in the pond? That would explain why it was searched. And if the suitcase came from her parents home, well, moreso the reason.

Now... why would Fred W say there was a rummage sale when there wasn't? Maybe he was just planning on donating the proceeds from the sale near his home to be sent to the church?

That is a ladder. CS' vehicles were taken in daylight, so was his relatives (Mercedes). Slayters vehicles were taken in daylight too. Not sure about the time of day with Wohler, but his was white.

These taken in the dark happened on Monday night, at the time when all those (over 10) FBI/LE/CSI vehicles went into the park to search the pastors home.

That's why I thought they belonged to pastor, but I am not sure of it.

I just feel like it had to be an accident...and they paniced...maybe because I dont want to beleive this little girl suffered or was abused in any way.....I am holding out hope it was not sexual in anyway.

Whoever the scum is, it was not a well thought-out plan IMO, which hopefully will lead to an arrest soon.

I wish we could hear from the owner of the dairy farm or some of the workers there as to whether anyone had been seen in that area. How did that suitcase get so far out in the pond? And I'm still very, very curious where exactly Johnny Williams saw the mysterious man & girl in the boat. Why would he not say that? I wish someone in the media would pin that down with him.

They are evil and sick. When porn is involved it can go very deep. I'll never forget years ago my mom watched a investigative report show after I had my daughter. She called me in tears because of the show. She had to imprint it into my head to NEVER let my daughter out of my sight. It was of grown men in this warehouse of sorts that were in to this disgusting child porn. I believe the reporter was undercover and was able to watch these two men chase down a 2 year old child and then take him in a room.(how this reporter could stand to be there is beyond me, but he wanted the story out)

It is sickening and people need to wake up and realize that this goes on daily around the world. Lots of us want to turn a blind eye to what is really going on. If we don't see it then we can feel safe and comfortable in our own world, but if only we knew to the extent of the evil and vile things that are happening to children, even here in the US. It outrages me as a mother and I think not enough is done to these perpatrators. As a mom I say string em up in public and let mom's go at at them. I am in tears as I type this knowing how many children are being affected by this industry right now. It needs to stop!!

Here's a link to Stockton Police Cadet program. They're not officers, but volunteers. What a pity he didn't grab a pair of binoculars and call in this guy's tag number and description immediately. Thank heavens he did it now. For a reason I don't understand people are sometimes reluctant to report crime. But this young man has as part of his duties searching for missing persons and he knew Sandra was missing.

Was a brutal rape in my area a few yrs ago and an older woman saw it in progress but didn't call it in for a couple of weeks. They ended up sentencing the guy to 99 years but if not for her being an eyewitness to the crime I fear they never would have been able to put him away.

He's not a police officer, just a volunteer cadet. He could've called in the license plate number to the police dept just as any other ordinary citizen could. I'm hoping he did get the plate number. Here's a summary of what cadets are and lists their volunteer duties. I doubt very much if volunteer cadets have access to law enforcement databases. I'm praying with all my heart they glean some useful information from this young man who may have been an eyewitness to this crime.

Fred Williams doesn't have a Silverado does he? I can't recall whether Fred's vehicle was taken but I believe it was not.

The thing about Johnny Williams account is perplexing, and I do believe he is credible.

Williams said he spotted the man (burly with a mustache) with a girl in a boat in an "area where LE had searched", not necessarily the pond. So the child was alive at that point. But Sandra was found in a suitcase.
If he wanted to kill her then, why the suitcase? I don't imagine he had the suitcase in the boat.
Maybe, if it indeed was him in the boat, he got spooked and took Sandra elsewhere, back to the church?, killed her there, got the suitcase and then went to the irrigation pond.
Or, he already had the suitcase in his vehicle for whatever reason, and killed her in the vicinity of that "body of water", but took her to the irrigation pond.

It's just strange that if it was indeed Fred in the boat with a live Sandra, how does the suitcase fit in?

The one thing that bothers me most...is I cannot for the life of me come to a "why" in my head. Why would they kill this little girl? I just feel like it had to be an accident...and they paniced...maybe because I dont want to beleive this little girl suffered or was abused in any way.....I am holding out hope it was not sexual in anyway.

Chris S was the one arrested the first night when they came to search his home I think he has ties to Oakdale actually if anyone on here can you remember if his SIL said he did? I think his parents actually own the place he lives in IIRC

Slaytor is the one that used to live just a few doors down and then moved in with his g/f common law wife is what I have heard he was the one that was at the vigils and said on camera he warned her to be careful who she was around and yes he took her places and she came to the home to play.

Frank W is the one that kissed her 2 yrs ago he said she would come to his house to ask if he had chores for her he said no he told her to go on this was said by him I think in front of his Martial arts building..not real sure..

Why would the killer be in a boat with Sandra in the San Francisco Bay & then drive all the way back into the valley & dump her in a holding pond full of cow manure 2 miles from where he kidnapped her, risking being seen and his license & description noted in such an unlikely place as a manure pond on a private dairy farm?

I just thought of something. If Williams knew and knew it was the suitcase then why didn't HE notify LE immediately when he learned of this? Why were the police left in the dark about this supposedly stolen luggage? And by the way he talks it is THE luggage that was found so how would he know that if he had only seen it from afar like the rest of us?

Yes both of them make themselves appear suspicious and that's why they may not be. Sometimes it's the person you'd least expect.

Sinclair is said to be a troublemaker even by his own parents I believe, drinks, does drugs and volatile as you say. Sounds like a loose cannon. I believe he's the one that Sandra's grandfather is said to have installed the security camers on account of. rumored that Sandra's grandfather thought he might be the one who vandalized his vehicle but he couldn't prove it, so he put in the camera.

And yes Fred from the church. His mouth sounds like a loose cannon. I'm sure you've noticed no other church members are as eager to offer details in crime-solving as he is.

In a video interview Wohler said she would come by and do chores like watering the lawn, then contradicted himself saying he had not seen her. That the little kiss was just him being friendly.

I'm probably wrong. It just creepers me is all.
Actually knowing that she is dead, and that there are 60 kiddie porn people in that town makes me creepy about everyone we've seen so far.

Morning everyone.

Fred Williams doesn't have a Silverado does he? I can't recall whether Fred's vehicle was taken but I believe it was not.

The thing about Johnny Williams account is perplexing, and I do believe he is credible.

Williams said he spotted the man (burly with a mustache) with a girl in a boat in an "area where LE had searched", not necessarily the pond. So the child was alive at that point. But Sandra was found in a suitcase.
If he wanted to kill her then, why the suitcase? I don't imagine he had the suitcase in the boat.
Maybe, if it indeed was him in the boat, he got spooked and took Sandra elsewhere, back to the church?, killed her there, got the suitcase and then went to the irrigation pond.
Or, he already had the suitcase in his vehicle for whatever reason, and killed her in the vicinity of that "body of water", but took her to the irrigation pond.

It's just strange that if it was indeed Fred in the boat with a live Sandra, how does the suitcase fit in?

I think he did see something just not sure if it was him but my only reasoning is he got scared off and decided not to dump her there not sure were her scent was picked up does anyone know??a dog alerted there and they sent in divers.

Just wondering......LE won't corroborate the suitcase story, yet Melissa Huckaby's Kia was taken in. Fred said something about the "suitcase being gone from the car". Melissa has no doubt told LE whether it was definitely her suitcase. If not, then the KIA would not have been taken in (I think), So maybe the story is true? But then it could be that Fred himself took it. Why would he say that if he's guilty?

Michelle Segona from America's Most Wanted was just on Fox News. One of the things she said is police are looking at everyone who attended that church in the week before Sandra went missing, looking at a couple of people not from the area.

This is part of my theory of the case, they never called an amber alert because they new she never left the the mobile park. why cause yesterday on the Pc he said we have the video of the cameras and we could see all the cars coming and going. To me they have foucosed on the priest because of the hose search the cars and the church search.
Since we have been given only crums of information we have to read between the lines of what is said. The video showing Sandra hopping and walking was eddited, and there were two cameras wich means they provably saw were she went after that. Why won't they make an arrest. because they don't have solid proof and the killer could walk. Or there is more than one person and they need all the evidence to convict them all. Now Sheneman says they are going in the right direction meaning they know who it is. And he also says to watch our children especially in Tracy why? cause they know the killer is there. They also don't want people assuming who the killer or killers are. this could be that they are trying to keep them there if they had an idea that they are on to them they would try to flea. This is just my theory of things an how I see it.

Memorial services for a slain Tracy girl are set for next week, police announced today.

The family of 8-year-old Sandra Cantu plans to hold private and public services. The public one will take place at 1 p.m. April 16 at West High School, 1775 W. Lowell Road, in Tracy. It’ll be held inside the school’s gym with overflow in the cafeteria, said Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman, adding that there should be enough space for about 2,500 people.

State vs Monroe where she had her hubby shot her son did it? she has been on women behind bars. Let's hope! A tan Chevy Silverado truck I think the cadet said. Maybe he did get the license plate # and he just didn't specify that aspect to the news in his interview. I know those kids are trained to get details of that sort that might be helpful.

My sister and my husband are so good at noticing details like that. I wasn't but they've trained me over the years. If you hear a noise always look outside to see what it might be, never ignore it. Always look at the time and be vigilant about when and where you hear or see anything that might end up being out of the ordinary. Jot down plate numbers if you can and note people's descriptions, etc. I never think anything's wrong and it's just the times you get complacent when something happens.

I read on the tracy vigilant committee website that LE had decided not to release any info to the media with regard to search warrants. I think I read 35 were issued, on fox they say 15.

Good points. I think you're right on all counts. Maybe they're afraid he might bolt. I bet they showed him a lineup too and maybe he was able to identify someone and maybe they actually do have a good eyewitness to this monster putting her body into that collection pond. I don't think I'll be surprised no matter who it is but it's got to be someone aware of how to get onto the levee's for those ponds. The average person unless they had business on farm property wouldn't have a reason to go there. I got lost on a dairy farm last year and thought I'd never find my way out. They're huge. A friend had told me an obscure but quicker route. I been puttin' knots on his head ever since.

Who knows? You can see pretty well until about 8;00p.m. They have a name for it that I posted the other day, but I forget. I think it's nautical twilight. When the sun is no more than 6 degrees below the horizon. Visibility is surprisingly good if you're outside. If you're indoors it seems to be dark outside, but if you go outside you can see well.

Anyway, for him to be able to ID clothing it would have to be visible by nature or unnatural means. Maybe he turned one of those megacandles on him when he saw him. just kidding, I don't really think he did that but being a cadet, who knows.

I believe it to be like a Neighborhood Watch kind of committee, hope I am right. We have a neighborhood watch in my area, they have meetings and basically keep a close eye out for anything suspicious. My DH actually was interview by ch 7 because he happened to p/u our newspaper around 5:30 am and saw someone roll over his truck in an empty lot and take off. He called LE and it turned out they guy assulted 2 women, up for attempted homocide. Scary.
DH did not make the 6 o'clk news though. Thankfully, he was waring shorts and I did not marry him for his legs, LOL.
