A phone at the church? The article states "When she got to the church, Huckaby’s grandmother called and said she found her keys and cell phone." So, that could easily be checked out with phone records, whether or not a call came in at a supposed time from that home.

Now this is telling IMO

I agree. The only reason police officers would be there is if she was being watched to make sure she didn't run OR she knows something really incriminating about one of her family members and police are protecting her.

I find her free and easy confiding of what seems like her or her family's extremely suspicious and incriminating behavior beyond odd. Is it possible someone beat her very badly if she told the truth about what happened? If so, who? Is she married or have a boyfriend who has a history of domestic violence? And now she is trying to cooperate without cooperating? Or is she just guilty and stupid enough not to talk? Given her record, either is possible I guess.

No, he's been very choosy about his words on that. He has always said that no suitcase was reported stolen on the day she disappeared. According to Huckaby, that sounds about right, she got sidetracked and didn't report it.

went into the house for 15 min then came back out and went to the church (which is in the mhp) and when she got back the suitcase was gone. Now the killer just happened to be riding by and saw the suitcase and in broad daylight stopped and went up and took it. All in that time frame with people at home. Nope something not right about that.

Makes no sense, article says MH found the note the day after Sandra went missing, so did she forget to email this info to LE as well as the suitcase? Sheneman didn't have any knowledge about it.

I find it hard to believe LE would not have immediately followed up with a note basically telling them where her body was. If she told them & they didn't, they have totally dropped the ball. I thought Sheneman looked a little shocked when the media kept coming at him with what Melissa had said, and like he didn't know quite what to say.

Look at the map. Whitehall Rd is short and the only water there is the irrigation ponds. Old River is nearby, but the ponds are nearest that road.

No..facts are little out of line...they did ask about Melissa today..reporting the missing suitcase..which he said no suitcase was reported...and then we find that Melissa was going to report it online..but forgot. No note by her was EVER mentioned until tonite. The note they dicussed today was left outside just the other night and it said "You've taken my life away from me but I forgive you and god will judge you at some point," Sgt. Tony Sheneman told reporters Thursday evening.

This is so sad. I live about an hour and a half south of Tracy. Ive been following the kids missing in Florida but this one is really close to home. I have a 9 year old and I cant imagine what her family must be going through. There are some really scary people in this world. Yes and how did this Williams guy know of a missing suitcase. I saw a program recently where a woman was about to be sentenced for murder and she grabbed a handful of razor blades off a surgical trolley in the ER and swallowed them to try to kill herself. She'd smashed a light bulb she'd got hold of in jail and swallowed that before hand, which landed her in hospital. I think it is unlikely but it's not impossible, imo.

How often does LE refer to a group of suspects?

yep kinda odd isn't it...a road that is a dead end that not even a cop had been on and lived there for 12 yrs..they say maybe 5 cars a day go down that road...something fishy

At the press conference today reporters were asking Sheneman if Melissa Huckaby has been in trouble with the law regarding drugging and molestation of children in the past. They may be looking for a murder weapon, but it could also be she died of a drug overdose. I think that's why they're waiting on the toxicology lab results to name the cause of death.

I've considered all along that the toxicology is to determine drugs in her system. And if there is a porn thing involved here, drugs would likely (I think) be administered. Maybe she wasn't meant to be killed......yet, but overdosed. Horrible thought.

I think the pens were on the adjacent property, and that is where they were filming from. News guy standing next to Melissa's car... Says that she is still inside being questioned and it's been "confirmed" by police..

Then showed video of the ambulance arriving at the police department "shortly after" Melissa got there. Ambulance is still there.

Then they showed video of police searching Melissa's car earlier this week.

I'll have to try and get up early in the morning to see what the early morning news says...

Sounds like she's pulling a Michael Jackson. Every time she doesn't want to talk she falls ill and has to be hauled to the hospital. Next thing you know it'll be a helicopter picking her up and ferrying her away from the questioning.
