# John Feehery: Most Americans like Obama and his family
# He says he wants Obama to succeed but opposes his policies
# Feehery says the way to oppose Obama is not with rhetoric, but with ideas
# He says tearing the president down won't get the GOP a winning coalition

A Republican commentary that makes sense to me. I don't agree with all his policies but I think he makes much more sense than 'just say no'. An opinion piece worth reading.

I disagree with Mr Feehery because he fails to recognize that BO is unlike former presidents. BO's ideology is at issue, and that cannot be changed. Wanting BO to succeed is wanting to "Change" America from a free Republic "of the people, by the people and for the people" to one which is controlled by the government in every facet.
IMO

I felt totally controlled and oppressed by the Bush regime. That administration had a totally controlling govenment that I felt was un-American. I was even afraid to say much against him in public. It was a very sad time.
I don't feel that way anymore. I feel proud once again. It's been a long time since I felt good about my government and how fortunate it is to be a free American.
