Do they know who committed the crime or not? The pastor was questioned because his granddaughter played with Sandra. OK..I get that but why are they digging underneath the church then. I'm getting frustrated. :sad:

Williams said that the mysterious black suitcase Cantu was found in was reported stolen by another congregation member the same day Cantu disappeared.

"That suitcase was to go to the church for a rummage sale with some stuff in it and the person put it somewhere, either in the back of a car somewhere. But anyway, when she came back out the suitcase was gone," Williams said.

A neighbor said FBI agents went inside the mobile home park on Tuesday evening to search the home of Christian Sinclair. He was questioned earlier in the case.

Sinclair, 49, was arrested, cited and later released last week on suspicion of interfering and obstructing justice, a Tracy police spokesman said.

Bamboo blinds were pulled from one of the mobile homes in the park.

Williams said that the mysterious black suitcase Cantu was found in was reported stolen by another congregation member the same day Cantu disappeared.

"That suitcase was to go to the church for a rummage sale with some stuff in it and the person put it somewhere, either in the back of a car somewhere. But anyway, when she came back out the suitcase was gone," Williams said.

Just saw the pic you posted. Those don't look like bamboo or even the plastic blinds. I have both, one is huge like that. The pic doesn't look like they are "thick" enough to be bamboo. KWIM? Plus those things on the end look more like finials on a curtain rod. Could be some custom fabric blind that I've never seen before.

Maybe the perp tried to wrap the body in the blinds, realized it wouldn't work (cumbersome). ?? (hate posting that)

Also I am glad that it was reported. That gives LE another avenue to follow up on where more can be discovered. Such as, was this woman kin to the killer and this was a cover up stating it had been stolen or does this woman live right by someone LE may have in their cross hairs as a potential suspect.

One of the interesting things will be when this luggage went missing? Was it before they knew Sandra was missing? Was it even before 4 pm? Was the killer already thinking about abducting Sandra and disposing of her body in this suitcase before they actually took her?

I don't think the Pastor's wife knows anything and is just expressing what most believe and that a predator took Sandra to abuse her and then murder her.

If that's the case, LE probably had a very strong suspicion, when the farm workers reported the case in the ditch, not far from her home..

I'm thinking maybe the person donating the suitcase & stuff was parked at the church, had gone inside & left the trunk open. When they came back out to the parking lot the suitcase was gone, and that's the tie to the church.

The article says there was stuff in the suitcase, and these blinds or curtain or whatever could have also been in the trunk to be donated. I'm sure they are diligently looking for the other "stuff" that was in that suitcase, maybe hoping to find it in the shed or underneath the church.

Could be someone with LE remembered bamboo blinds in one of the trailers, and that's why they confiscated them.

Finding whatever was stolen from this person donating to the rummage sale is key to finding the person who did this IMO.

He has to be right in the middle of this investigation.

Each time LE wants another SW they have to show more and more probable cause to a Judge in order for him/her to sign off on it. So I totally agree. They are finding evidence and it seems to be leading them right back again to him.

Does he attend this church? I wonder if this church is locked up during the day. I know a lot of churches keep their doors open.

That does make sense. They already knew the description of the suitcase, it went missing the same day she did, and this would explain (to me anyway) why all the LE at the pond & why they seemed to know even though they didn't really know it was her.

I think one of the key factors to solving this case is going to be the contents that were left inside of the suitcase that the lady was going to give to the church. If, when they opened that suitcase up and even one item remained in that bag and the owner can identify her own items and if they can find any of items that are missing, she most likely will become one of the star witnesses in this case.

I also agree that LE already knew about the black bag being missing and when a black suitcase showed up 2 miles away in the holding pond they knew this was connected to Sandra's disappearance.

Now how this is all tied together we will have to wait and see but I do think an arrest is imminent.

Who knows, maybe this lady is totally honest and credible as the day is long and it bothered her enough to report it immediately. She may turnout to be a pivotal witness in this case. She sure would be able to identify her own luggage imo.

I think one of the key factors to solving this case is going to be the contents that were left inside of the suitcase that the lady was going to give to the church. If, when they opened that suitcase up and even one item remained in that bag and the owner can identify her own items and if they can find any of items that are missing, she most likely will become one of the star witnesses in this case.

I also agree that LE already knew about the black bag being missing and when a black suitcase showed up 2 miles away in the holding pond they knew this was connected to Sandra's disappearance.

Now how this is all tied together we will have to wait and see but I do think an arrest is imminent.

Who knows, maybe this lady is totally honest and credible as the day is long and it bothered her enough to report it immediately. She may turnout to be a pivotal witness in this case. She sure would be able to identify her own luggage imo.

I had to step away from my PC yesterday, this case was getting to me and I needed to focus on something uplifting and joyous so I turned on my TV and watched my UConn girls win their 6th national championship in basketball. 39-0: Go Huskies.

I just wanted to correct some bad reporting in one article that was posted today. It implied that the majority of missing children are 10 and under; that not correct the majority are teens. What that report should have said was that of abducted/missing children 10 and under the majority are non- custodial parent abductions. Three young girls, children really, not much different then the middle school kids I see at the local bus stop each day. Pretty, and from all accounts outgoing. I look at their pictures and they speak to me of promise, of lives just starting to unfold.

But that will never happen! 9,11,13 Forever.

Rowan, kissed her mom goodnight and went to bed. Jodi, got on her bike to ride home from a friends house. Cori, caught a ride to buy a Christmas gift…and then they met the bogyman.

When I was a child I was scared of the bogyman. Afraid that he was under the bed or maybe hiding in my closet. As I got older I realized that there was no bogyman. This week I found out it is the adult who was wrong, and the child who was right.

I had to step away from my PC yesterday, this case was getting to me and I needed to focus on something uplifting and joyous so I turned on my TV and watched my UConn girls win their 6th national championship in basketball. 39-0: Go Huskies.

I just wanted to correct some bad reporting in one article that was posted today. It implied that the majority of missing children are 10 and under; that not correct the majority are teens. What that report should have said was that of abducted/missing children 10 and under the majority are non- custodial parent abductions. I take every missing person case to heart but the abduction and murder of very young children gets to me the most. Here is a blog post I did a couple of years ago about 3 girls.

This past week in the Henderson household has not been much different then others. Well, Charlene and I started to do the house cleaning needed for the Thanksgiving/Christmas season but otherwise nothing different.

So why am I so depressed?

I tried to put my finger on it, but the reason seemed to be just out of reach. There in my peripheral view, but gone when I looked for it head on.

Until last night.

Last night I added the photo of Cori Baker to my murder victim’s page. As I checked it out I took a good look at that page, and the pictures I had added in just one week. Rowan Ford 9, Missouri. Jodi Parrack 11, Michigan. Cori Baker 13, Oklahoma.

Three young girls, children really, not much different then the middle school kids I see at the local bus stop each day. Pretty, and from all accounts outgoing. I look at their pictures and they speak to me of promise, of lives just starting to unfold.

But that will never happen! 9,11,13 Forever.

Rowan, kissed her mom goodnight and went to bed. Jodi, got on her bike to ride home from a friends house. Cori, caught a ride to buy a Christmas gift…and then they met the bogyman.

When I was a child I was scared of the bogyman. Afraid that he was under the bed or maybe hiding in my closet. As I got older I realized that there was no bogyman. This week I found out it is the adult who was wrong, and the child who was right.

He lives alright, in every state, in every town.

Well sounds like a whole 15 to 20 people go to this church I have heard 2 people say that now on camera one women even said she went one time and felt so uncomfortable and never went back they acted as if she was not welcomed there and she felt she was a ghost like no one wanted to even speak to her...not the normal thing you get from a loving church IMO..FW would not speak on camera but did say he wanted her to be wearing one of those Mexican hats and be in Mexico alive..he did confirm his home has not been search again

I had a full carload of crap to take to the Thrift Store last week. I purposely left my doors unlocked hoping someone would take it (so I wouldn't have to lug it all into the store). No luck.

Seems very odd to report a "soon to be donation" as stolen.

And for any posters bemoaning the fact that so many kids are snatched by stranger in the US, well it is true. But it does happen around the world and for as long as kids have been around. I was born and raised in Italy. When I was 6, I was nearly abducted. A man in a car pulled up to me, when I was playing out front and tried to pull me in the car. My 8 year old sister walked out of the house at the same time and ran to pull me out. It ended up being a tug of war with me in the middle. Finally the man pulled me in. A passing policeman saw this, and gunned the police car toward us. The man threw me out on the street and drove off. Other police cars chased him. There was a trial and he went to prison. Turns out he was suspected (but not convicted) of killing two other little girls.

Anyway, this case hurts me a great deal. I just can't watch the video anymore of such a happy little girl.

You correct about the small amount per year snatched by strangers. there will always be preditors out there. They have more opportunity now because of computers. When you think about it too, the invention of the car was a factor along with highways to get out fast. I didn't want people to think it just happens in the US.

My sister testified at the trial, by the way. If it had not been for her quick thinking, I would have been stuffed in that car and gone. We are very close and I always think that was a factor.

the person posting is saying there is a NORTH and a South with the same address.

Girlspell,hugs sweetie! It's the reason I'm so tied to these cases too. Sometimes I wonder if I had it stamped on my forehead...Abuse me. My stepfather when I was 10. When i was about 12 a guy tried to get me in his car. He called me over to ask a question. Stupid me couldn't understand what he was saying so I went closer. He ask directions. I bent down to tell him,was pointing and looking away from the car. He grabbed my arm,I looked back at him..shocked and seen he had taken his penis out and was trying to pull me into the car. I know he was saying something the whole time he was pulling but I couldn't remember what it was. He was driving a gold colored car and even now I hate gold colored cars. I just started screaming,hitting and pulling away. Thankfully I got away. There were people who saw me once I started screaming and got the tag #. They found the man but my mother wouldn't file a complaint. She said for me to just forget it.

Well I've never forgot any of it and it makes me watch all my g.kids closer. If I seen something like this happening I would die trying to help that child.

I hope there is justice in this case.

And for any posters bemoaning the fact that so many kids are snatched by stranger in the US, well it is true. But it does happen around the world and for as long as kids have been around. I was born and raised in Italy. When I was 6, I was nearly abducted. A man in a car pulled up to me, when I was playing out front and tried to pull me in the car. My 8 year old sister walked out of the house at the same time and ran to pull me out. It ended up being a tug of war with me in the middle. Finally the man pulled me in. A passing policeman saw this, and gunned the police car toward us. The man threw me out on the street and drove off. Other police cars chased him. There was a trial and he went to prison. Turns out he was suspected (but not convicted) of killing two other little girls.

I agree girlspell. I had a very similar thing happen to me when I was 12-13 (attempted kidnapping). I didn't have to go to court because the guy had jumped his parole for kidnapping and rape in Oklahoma and they just sent him back there. I keep hearing posters talk about the innocent times, but I didn't live that. Maybe it's because I had such a loooong walk to school everyday, but I had several guys expose themselves to me, too. One of them stalked me all year. At that time, the police said they would have to catch him in the act to arrest him. :rolleyes: Once other kids starting complaining, too, he was arrested and I had what can only be called BRUTAL treatment by law enforcement and the DA's office. The guy finally pleaded guilty, TG. At that time, LE thought indecent exposure was more or less a "victimless" crime and the perp was not likely to escalate into rape, murder, etc. That's since shown to be false. They do often escalate after indecent exposure, peeping Toms, etc.

I also had fathers and brothers of girlfriends behave very inappropriately with me. And these were professionals, Dr.s, lawyers, etc. It just wasn't EVER discussed back then.

Frankly, I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. I watch my kids like a hawk. My sons and my daughter.

Poor Sandra. I hope she had minimal suffering. :rose:
