In the very first interview Crystal gave she looked like she had two black eyes and a busted nose. Im very new to this board and am still learning about posting so sorry if it has already been mentioned. I have wondered since that night I saw it and have never knew how to get an answer. It was the first thing I noticed when I saw her in that first interview and I said out loud to my husband, "She got hit hard by somebody! Look at those racoon eyes." I waited and listened for somebody to comment on it on the news. I emailed Nancy Grace to no avail. The next interview you could see she had taken time to put makeup on but you could still see it. Was it ever mentioned? Did I just miss it?

I thought it may have been because of all the crying she was doing ,I didn't notice eyes like she had been hit.I'm not saying at all she wasn't ,I just didn't notice I was so surprised she didn't know many details involving much about her child's life.
In my opinion ,this is my opinion,now that I've heard more from Crystal,she probably wasn't crying that much (to cause black eyes) and she may have been hit.

I wanted to add that from what I read, this Jeremiah Regan took it upon himself to do this....it wasn't necessarily Crystal's idea. Regan is billed as an "event planner" and obviously, IMO, he intends to get a piece of the pie when the donations come in.

I think it's sad that Crystal has decided to go along with this...and again, IMO, it's obviously for the $$$. Either 1) she's ok with it or 2) she's ignorant & is being manipulated into it.

Funny thing about that website, it's changed since it was first put up. I am almost positive when it was first put up it had some nonsense on there about the site being run by an 11 year old girl. It did have a pic of Haleigh on the front at that time. It also had a paragraph above the pic with some info. Then it had a little girls name and eleven in parentheses (11) under the paragraph but above Haleighs pic.

I was sitting there wondering why they had a pic of Haleigh and yet some other girls name and age. Then, when I read the "about me", or something similar section, it said it was, the site, put together by an 11 year old. Which I found hard to believe. Especially with the way things were written. JMO.



I don't think I have any words right now in regards to this website. I want to reread it, but I am just speechless right now. I'm rewatching NG right now but so far it's recap on CA..

Oh .. my ... he alledgedly did a bad thing to a six year old girl and is scheduled to go to trial in june .. he is not on the so list but i sure hope he has been checked out .. he lives close to Haleigh .. i believe it is on betsy ross but putting moo because it has been a couple of weeks since i gathered info on him.

Or is this true? Because I've been under the assumption the whole time that he never answered the call. I thought maybe I had read it wrong. What does anyone else think about it?

My guess would be bad reporting. AH is an independent reporter. I don't know if that says anything about his ability, but one does have to wonder why some cable/news show has not hired him. JMO

The Someone designer just used a simple website builder tool sold at Godaddy called Website Tonight. Probably took no more than a 1/2 hour to put the whole thing together.

She did not cut her off she said she felt her son could be in danger with a 17yr old that RC married he caught her with drug dealers or something like that so JVM said they had no word of that so HLN could not prove RC caught misty with drug dealers in the past. I am not pointing fingers but I felt crystal should have not said that since she was aware that misty was keeping her kids before and had no problem with it as far as I know. JMO this is all going to be a huge fight for JR.

Snodgrass is accused of tying the nine year old to a bed and sexually abusing her. He is also accused of having both girls pose for photographs in lingerie and of fondling the sixteen year old on the outside of her clothing. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of two unicycles, various clothing articles, photos, and a computer. A forensic examination of the computer will be conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
Daniel E. Snodgrass remains in the Putnam County Jail without benefit of bond charged with one count of Capital Sexual Battery. Detective Taylor is continuing the investigation.

Haleigh Charity Organizers Refuse Donations From Accused Sexual Criminal

PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- A man arrested for sexual acts on children stopped by the foundation to help find Haleigh Tuesday afternoon, according to the man who is organizing donations for the family.

Jeremiah Regan has been painting and renovating the small building on US 17 this week.

Tuesday Regan told First Coast News, "This gentleman pulled in here and said, 'I don't want any recognition. I don't want anyone to know my name. I heard you need office supplies for the foundation for Haleigh.'"

Regan said the man told him he had furniture at his house he would donate.

Then Regan said he heard the man mention his name to a reporter from Orlando.

"The reporter asked the man his name and he said, 'Snodgrass. Daniel Snodgrass.' A nd that name went BING in my head," Regan told First Coast News.

Daniel Snodgrass was arrested in 2007 on two charges. One was sexual battery on a child as well as a lewd and lascivious charge involving a child.

I do not think you are grasping, many here have wondered the same. There has to be a reason to make inconsistent statements to LE for what 5 weeks. Who does that? Being confused/young and all that is one thing in the very beginning......but after all this time, IMO it only means you have something to hide. Yet what is it?

After hearing she had a long time boyfriend, I've wondered that myself.

I've had to testify in court twice on civil cases and I was so nervous I could barely speak or remember my name. I was literally shaking and I'm a grown woman with a college degree. It makes me wonder if she's scared and confused, just a flighty airhead, or if she did something she doesn't want them to know. I don't think she directly did anything to Haleigh or knows who did but I just can't figure her out. Some of her inconsistencies are easy to explain but she doesn't take the chance to do it!

She did not cut her off she said she felt her son could be in danger with a 17yr old that RC married he caught her with drug dealers or something like that so JVM said they had no word of that so HLN could not prove RC caught misty with drug dealers in the past. I am not pointing fingers but I felt crystal should have not said that since she was aware that misty was keeping her kids before and had no problem with it as far as I know. JMO this is all going to be a huge fight for JR.

A "relative" of Marie's named Anna has been posting about the Snodgrass guy for weeks on two sites, that I know of, with all sorts of undocumented accusations. NOW he just happens to show up at their new "headquarters". Yeah right!!

"Others" have befriended Marie over the internet/called her and she "shares" insights with them. They "know things, but can't say" so they drop hints, post rumors and innuendoes. Some of that garbage has been brought to this board with NO link/no proof but it continues.

IMO was a waste of time nothing to help bring Haliegh home but she was ask about the today show and NG and what RC was saying about her and GR making up stuff about what Jr saw that night so she threw in RC had caught misty with drug dealers before and was afraid for JR. that is about all I got out of it maybe someone else can tell you more.

She does know something and since she already found it easy to throw her cousin from Tennessee under the bus she cannot really be trusted now can she? If Crystal didn't proceed with this and say something happened to Jr., especially since Misty's inconsistancies are very potentially damaging to Misty's own credibility in this ongoing and as of yet unsolved case regarding Haleigh's disappearance, and due to the fact that DFC already has an ongoing case with the Cummings household that Misty is now well aware of, if something were to happen to Jr. the state could also hold Crystal legally responsible for not doing something about the health and well being of Jr.
Jr. also has rights and as I said earlier the DCF has the legal responsibility and burden, since they are already involved , to respect and protect those rights under the law.
It's pretty simple and I hope that all made sense. If it didn't let me know.

They would never want to arrest anyone without enough proof cause then they have the ball running the only thing they could do is arrest someone on a smaller charge in hopes they would talk but I dont see it happening in this case yet anyway. What proof does anyone have that Crystal "supposedly" knew about the "alleged" abuse? From what Crystal's lawyer stated on national television, Crystal had only just found out about these things.

Also I saw where you were questioning how Crystal could not have noticed that Jr. was beaten and bloodied (allegations at this point). It is very possible and reasonable to believe that if it is true about the abuse then Ron could have picked the kids up on the Sunday night after Crystal's visitation and physically assaulted Jr that day or within the following days and the wounds could have easily healed before Crystal's next visitation with the kids. Crystal might have also been told false stories such as "Jr. was riding his bike and crashed into a tree" etc...

All true but these were charges taken to the media instead of the proper authorities. Did all these witnesses just tell Crystal this when she met Geraldo and it didn't matter before? I can't believe not one of these people called these charges in (though we don't know what the past investigations were for). I called on my own niece! You don't even have to leave your name.

It will really upset me if this stuff is true and no one did anything. Not teachers, not relatives, not neighbors?

I think our rules for apartments has something to do with a fire code and the number of ppl allowed in each unit. I do not rent but remember a friend's daughter talking about it.

Oh Patricia, what a terrible thing to happen. The baby was innocent. Nothing bad like that was happening with my niece but she was sleeping all day and letting her baby lay there in dirty diapers and trash was everywhere. It scared her when they came and checked on her. She straightened up her life and is headed to medical school. I wish someone would have called on that woman. The teenager should feel guilty for the rest of her life.

Ron owning guns has no relation to or indication of child abuse. Everyone in the rural South owns guns. Not all abuse their kids. If he's not thinking about replacing his gun now, he probaboly should be. This case has made me consider buying a handgun and although growing up in South Mississippi I have not owned guns in years. Kinda off topic but I was told 19yrs ago when I was trying to keep my son from ever being with his bio dad cause he was on drugs beat me and drank so I feared for his safty they told me I could try but it is very hard they even had cases of children being burned with cigs and they still allowed the kids to be in the home so I more less had no chance unless he harmed my child WTH is what I said to them thank god he never wanted anything to do with my son cause I had a battle if he did want to see him. I was going to go to canada to tell you the truth so I get so sick of seeing these kids left in homes with abuse even if it is not against them. I dont know if JR or Haleigh was abused but if so and people knew about it SHAME on them you can call in a report without giving your name.

This case reminds me of Casey Anthony because, in my opinion, there are more than a few liars in this case, a few mistruths and a whole lot of inconsistencies. Overprotective, borderline obsessive mother(s), young folks who not only want their 15 minutes of fame but demand it. This case has more than a few flavors of the CA case, in my opinion. If Misty would tell the truth, they may possibly be able to find Haleigh, just like if Casey Anthony had told the truth, they would have found Caylee sooner, imo.

Doesn't matter, Cinderella's carriage will soon be that of a pumpkin and the glass slippers will be that of chains clanking as the courtroom comes to a silence.

Ok, I think it's a SO. Remember the Chad Reynolds missing guy? I have followed that local woman's search for him and she hadn't posted in a while. I just checked for the first time in a few days at the other site to see if there is any info.

His wanted poster now says Absconder/Fugitive and location is listed at Daytona Beach. That is the Fl Dept of Corrections district where Putnam Co is and NOT the district where he was missing from.

Strange, isn't it? Is he no longer endangered?

I don't think he knew them at all but if he's hiding out in that area near where he used to camp, he could have easily seen Haleigh. Not having a DL didn't stop him from driving and calling that the car tore up at Walmart and then driving it somewhere else. If they think he's still near home, why have they changed the office to that location instead of the location he is missing from? They must have some reason to do that.

Crystal's mother, Nancy Marie JOHNS married Johnny Marcus Sheffield. During their divorce proceedings started in 1994 (UCN: 541994DR007804FDXXXX is docket #) a child was named that was not HIS, proved by DNA. Mr. Sheffield has been convicted of abusing animals (fighting dogs) + lots of other seedy things. Owed back child support and had a protective order against him and the judge told them both to stay away for each other. Not kidding!!

Johnny Jack Lauramore filed for visitation of HIS child with Nancy Marie Johns Sheffield. Marie had a protective order filed against this guy and she didn't bother to show up. This guy is a low life, imo charges and some convictions for: breaking and entering, child abuse, lewd/lascivious, bugulary, bad checks, drugs, etc . He and Marie were convicted of MAINTAINING a DRUG DWELLING in 1997 and his case is noted that he's a convicted felon with a fire arm. Marie's docket # UCN: 541997CF001301XXAXMX and Lauramore's docket # UCN: 541997CF001303XXAXMX for the Drug Dwelling conviction.

Johnny Jack Lauramore is Crystal's 1/2 brother's dad. He lives very close to Ron according to mapquest and the white pages and People Search. Here's a picture of Crystal's being comforted by her cousin Amanda Lauramore:

lol. Connie Sheffield is around 29 and is Crystal's step mom. She's married to Johnny Marcus Sheffield (he's mid 40's??) and they have a 3 year old little girl. Johnny Marcus is Crystal's dad.

If you click on absconder, he shows up in Marion County. Daytona is the district office where his probation is set up from. It only pops up under the supervision link. They haven't changed anything. He's still missing from Marion County and his probation has always been overseen by Daytona. Unless he was after revenge against Ronald, that would be a very long way to travel, without his own transportation no less, to steal a child. There are plenty of little girls in Marion and Sumter Counties and more than a few parents dumb enough to not watch over them while they go partying, etc. Anyway, maybe he did it, and maybe he didn't. Hopefully we will all know very soon.

Folks keep saying how Ron isn't tough but keep in mind the guy had guns. I would be hesitant to say anything either. Even if there is the option to not be identified Ron would know who saw what when and where. It wouldn't be to hard to forget who might have called the authorities on him.

I had to write and essay in HS. I chose the topic of child abuse because the CPS in Sacramento allowed custody to a woman who was known to beat her infant son. She burned him with cigarrette butts, kick, punched him etc... just because he walked by her. She killed that baby and her teenage daughter who was not ever beaten by the Mother did NOTHING to help that baby. Apparently the Mother hated the baby's Father so she took it out on the baby.
OK I feel sick again. Sheesh! I am crying my eyes out here.
My essay was about being accountable for these abused kids.
People know it is happening but they don't do anything about it.
