Little snippet on Mike Gallanos' show just now....

Showed clip from tonight's NG interview with the attorney for Crystal.

Says she was first hired to do media stuff, but is looking in to this custody of Jr. And apparently, she's not just taking Misty's word. She's talking with LE, neighbors, and DCF about Jr.'s current environment.

TJ Ward (the reporter) also talking about some strange man that showed up at the trailer wanting to look inside. Police escorted him out.

Bringing this post over. I know it has only been a month, but IMO there is not much more the family can do. Their only option IMO is getting themselves settled into whatever home they are, and go back to work and get back to life. I know it sounds terrible, and I can't even say what I would do if I were in any of their shoes..but there is nothing mroe than can do IMO.. They are cooperating with Le and should be staying in contact with them daily. They should get her picture out wherever they can..

When it comes down to it, poor Haleigh is gone.. but Junior is still there and Chloe. Chloe is a baby and she needs the comfort of her mothers arms available to her at all times. Junior needs to be comforted over this ordeal as well. He needs to be with what he knows, and his little life needs to get back to a little bit of normalcy IMO.

Please dont' get me wrong, I am in no way suggesting they stop looking for Haleigh.. not ever but they can look, while getting back to the normal things in life. The economy is tough right now, they need steady money coming into their homes IMO.

I'm sure that if it is a camera LE had it checked out a month ago, one of the first things that LE does in a missing person's is to check local surveillance cameras, I doubt they would have missed this one.

IMO, it doesn't look good for either side like you say. I especially wonder about the Ron and Misti thing. Misti will be left in charge of a child after another child left with her disappeared.

I'm not sure how things work in that county, but I would be surprised if they granted custody to a father and his 17 y/o bride.

How long has Misti been involved in Jr and Haleigh's life? Is it only the 5 months she and Ron have been dating?

Just another thought. (They are all over the place the past couple days). Im not on the fence. I cant even climb on it right now.

Papers are served for a court hearing on 4000 in child arrears .
Next day, Haleigh disappears.
Monies raised thru photos videos etc. (200,000? That much was made off Caylee that we have heard of)
S**t slng in the media by Crystal & her mom. Very bad stuff.

I just don't know that they will rip the boy away from his primary parent after having him just losing his sister.

IIRC, Misti is the one that commented on the bed wetting. When Crystal was asked about it I think she said Haleigh didn't wet the bed.

With the two differing observations on the bed wetting, I wondered if Haleigh was more comfortable with Crystal and therefore the bed wetting wasn't an issue when she stayed with her.

That was the situation for both parents. The only difference was the paternal great grandma and grandma have houses in the immediate area where the little guy may have been sleeping. As far as the tent city during the day, I saw JR and other kids running around playing. Jr is too young to full understand what is going and he may have been having a good time with all the attention.

One good thing about a child that age is they are usually very adaptable.

Misty's family threw their hands up about Misty in Nov. when in Misty's own words, she was put on the street homeless. She's going to be Ron's problem for now. When she turns 23 or 24, when she has one or two babies, she'll break loose, goodby to Ron, and the cycle begins all over again for her kids. remember that song, with the words, I'm Caught In A Trap and i Can't Get Out? That's what this bunch reminds me of. The dysfunction cycle continues from one generation to the next. Sad.

I agree with you that both HaLeigh's parents leave a lot to be desired.

It was ONLY after all the bashing of Ron.............and the time line where I do not think he could have done anything to his child...........that I decided to take up for Ron.

Also................I think that a mother owes her child just as a father ...............and not just money.

They need to give time/money/love................4 days a month just does not cut it for me with Crystal.

This is spoken to a mother of 4.............grandmother of 7.

I can tell you right now...........the devil himself could not keep me away from my children. I would not go away with my tail between my legs.............but then again, I do not have their baggage hidden in my closet.

I have been so involved in this case.Believe me as a 73 year old grandmother I know things are not right here.It is for sure statistics will show most of the time bed wetters at this age have been Or they are STILL being abused.This to me is a very important factor in this.The child was either sexually or physically abused you can rest assured.


This child hadn't even turned 5 yet when she disappeared. It is just as common for children at this age to wet the bed occasionally because they're bladders aren't fully developed as it is that they're being abused. Crystal said she didn't wet the bed, but she only saw her four times a month; more accurate would have been to say she never wet the bed when she was with her. JMO, but I can't rest assured based on bed wetting at her age that she was being abused.

Right.. I couldn't even listen to her entire conversation.. but what i did hear gave me the impression she should have been more prepared. IMO

I wonder why Crystal hasn't attempted to get the kids previously.. and harowitz, i think it was..what a crock. There is no indication YET who is responsible for taking haleigh. we can't go ripping kids from their families because their sibling goes missing..that is crazy IMO

However, if there is some proof about these allegations..by all means, take the child. It isn't about taking sides in a custody battle IMO..it's about the best interest of the child. Junior was in danger then, IF he is in danger now isn't he? funny thing is though, she put him on national tv talking about how he witnessed the kidnapping... so who was putting him in danger again? 3) Parent B can sign an Acknowledgment of Paternity when the child is born, which is becoming standard in cases where the baby is born to unmarried couples.

In regarding custody of JR my only opinion is this though some might not like it. If Crystal did indeed admit to drug use while pregnant she should not get custody. To me that is child abuse. To hurt something so little in that way is utterly selfish.

I think I read about his things being removed from a post here ~ so I'm not sure what all has been taken out. I remember seeing the bed on Nancy's home video tour and wondered why it was still there. I'd just hate to think they'd overlooked anything that might have a clue on it!

I wasn't aware that his things were gone to be honest. It's just strange to me, to take the door now. Something else, what could they get from the cinderblock, if anything? Because of the material, i wouldnt' think a clear fingerprint and I'm not sure exactly about touch dna. A shoeprint probably wouldn't be on there either, of course possible dirt from a shoe could be.


It doesn't seem possible to get any info from a rough cinder block, but I read somewhere there is something called "touch dna". I think it is left by little flakes of skin. JMO

Crystal seemed to be pretty happy with her new baby and life with her boyfriend.

If Crystal is being manipulated into filing for custody, it will be a real shame.

There is absolutely no evidence either children were abused by Ron OR Crystal, and both were satisfied with the arrangements.

I find it quite suspicious that Haleigh went missing the day after Ron filed for the back child-support.

If a 'family member' is found to be involved, my bet is that this family member won't be either Crystal or Ron.

In regarding custody of JR my only opinion is this though some might not like it. If Crystal did indeed admit to drug use while pregnant she should not get custody. To me that is child abuse. To hurt something so little in that way is utterly selfish.

I wonder if you were thinking of Naomi Arnette...Her estranged husband was at one point, I believe, posting on the board....

The only time I think the bed "should have been moved" is if R/M had something to do with the disapperance was before the 911 call. If they had put the mattress on the bedframe in the other room and said Haleigh was sleeping in that room, it would look like it would be possible to take her without waking up anyone else. I doubt the mattress was moved for the video. JMO

You hit the nail on the head. AAMOF Ron refused to engage in bashing Crystal or even TELLING THE TRUTH about why she didn't have the kids. But when people outside their little circle started questioning why she didn't have the kids....RON BECAME A TARGET IMO. :sad:

I think Ron is a target because some dont agree with his penchant for young gals, he is an unconvicted sex offender, based on math and the Florida law.

I was surprised how nice the m/h looked. The bedroom was sparse and no linens on the bed (don't know if LE took them), but the LR and kitchen looked nice (I like kitchens). JMO

Let's not forget that the pics/video we see of how the MH looks now comes after it has been cleaned and straightened up after LE got a hold of it turned it upside down and inside out.

They of course wouldn't have shown us the inside after LE got a hold of it (while it was still a mess). Instead they waited for LE to get done, then cleaned it up/out and then showed us the inside.

IMO I don't think it's strange that is looks so empty/clean because of the reasons above.

Since none of the home tours were conducted by Ron or Misty I don't think that LE would come out and say that the home was not the way they saw it. When LE takes evidence and has a place for over 2 weeks they don't put it back the way it was.

I am glad that LE seized the door that was reportedly left propped open
but I wonder about the clarity of any evidence left on it? I assume it was dusted for prints from the start of this investigation. Apparently they want to re-dust it or something ? Just a thought.
Now that the Cummings family has gone into the trailer and cleaned up after LE, finger print dust removed etc.... I hope that this door still holds something of value that will help with finding Haleigh.
