Ocklawaha, Fla. - Deputies in Marion County are trying to track down 25-Year-Old Chad Reynolds, a sexual predator missing more than two weeks.

"What its done---its just devastated the whole family," said Reynold's Uncle Chris who only wants to be called by his first name.

Chris says the family last saw him February first which was Super Bowl Sunday.
They say he left work, bought a video game at Best Buy, then went out for the night.
They say he went to Gringo's bowling alley and then to DJ and Gina's Bar with his friend, Amy Baker.

"Her ex-boyfriend supposedly came into the bar and him and Chad had words," said Uncle Chris.

Investigators say Reynolds borrowed his friend's car but the car broke down near the Wal-Mart in The Villages at the Marion/Lake County line.
The car was later found south of Marion County and Reynolds was not inside.

With him missing at the same time a 5-year-old girl in Putnam County is missing, people are asking questions.
Putnam County is the same county where Reynolds was convicted of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a child under 12 years old and Armed Burglary.
Both crimes took place in 2002.
Right now deputies are not linking Reynolds to the Haleigh Cumming's case.

"People want to talk bad about Chad because of his heading that he has now because of the crime he did do," said Uncle Chris. "He served his time and he's still serving his time and he'll always serve it the rest of his life."

A life this family hopes is not over.

I don't know how they can be sure that he isnt' involved. They know more than me though..but still. If he hasn't been found yet.. and it's weird he was in all black. But would he still be wearing all black 9 days after he is last seen?

I've been thinking for a while that someone younger took her. I never put his picture together with that thought though until tonight. Now was there a connection between him and either family or Misty?

This press conference was odd. I hope they are in an active investigation to look for this CR though. Unless they have evidence that doesn't match him..hmm so many possibilities IMO. Could Le be making themselves look like they are laying low for now.. not as many people on the case..etc.. hoping someone will get comfortable and slip up?

It looks like it would be where Tyler St crosses the tracks, your right it should have something on a camera if there is one there.

That's what I thought. The camera would be date/timed, correct? I would think LE would have checked this out three weeks ago, and not wait for a tip. This LE dept. frustrates me. A big to do today to announce a reward. Poo, when the reward was 50K no one bit, after all this time, no oneis going to bite for that reward. What a waste of a presser.

I'm in pretty good belief that a sex offender is non existent. No signs of a break in, no prints, no dna, nada, nothing, nevah. Police have been so nonchalant about the SO theory, barely raising an eyebrow to the fact that it may have been a SO who took Haleigh. If it were a SO, I would like to think there would be a little something we've come to know as a "leak" and as of today, still no leak. BUT, otoh, le would keep exremely tight lipped if it were Ron & Misty under the scope, perhaps any of the family that came in contact with Haleigh. I'm just sayin at this point, I think it's an inside job, completely.

LE's presser today indicated what I have come to believe....they have no clue. None.

Ron is now officially over the edge. I truly believe he is. I think he is grasping at any human emotion left. Or he is guilty as all heck and hiding it well.

Since most of you are convinced that RC and Misty did this, someone please explain to me how the FBI or FDLE haven't broke one of them yet. These are not two super-smart people we are dealing with.

If I thought Ron was guilty, I would arrest him for the underage thing and hold him while I tricked Misty into giving it up. If they think Misty did it, they can arrest her for child neglect like they did Casey A and put pressure on her and/or RC.

I know they aren't particularly good citizens, but how could they get away with it? The only doubt I would have is if they suspect Misty and Ron is cooperating in some way but I think he would kill her first if LE told him that.

I'm thoroughly confused but I don't think they did it. I think they may have contributed to it based on someone one or both of them knew.

Thanks I have said they needed a PR person from the start I saw on CNN tonight someone who lost their child 20yrs ago had went to talk to RC they still have not found his daughter and it has been 20yrs he agreed that somethings are looked at like they dont care but until someone has lost a child they will never know the pain. I think they have made poor choices but still they have lost their child and I can not judge without proof they had anything to do with it. jmo

Yes. And Mr. Lunsford is suing. I think LE messed up big time on that one. Lots of visits to Courey's trailer, but they never searched. If it was an SO that took Haleigh, the outcome will more than likely be the same. Especially since all of the SO's were "cleared" within a few days of Haleigh going missing. That does not sit right with me. MOO

This whole thing is so bizarre, the "victims" of a tragic child disappearance are turning into "players" and seem to have forgotten that this precious baby has not been found. Moving on and making plans for the future should be on indefinite hold, Misty is trying to act like a blushing, giddy, bride to be, it makes me ill! My first gut reaction about Misty was that she knows a lot more than what she is saying, if she was not directly involved, and I'm not all that sure she wasn't. I smell a rat, plain and simple. Are they expecting media coverage of their happy ceremony? Probably. Misty probably envisions a reality type show made about them, their lives, buying their new home, etc., with maybe a facade room set up for "when Haleigh comes home"? Maybe a spin off of Crystals life and her continued tearless crying and whining, with her Mom holding her up?

I am just sick over this baby, I can't watch the videos of her, she is adorable, innocent and truly happy, loving life and all it's new mysteries, like her intent watching Ron as he baited a hook, in one video. I shutter to imagine her with a SO, still alive, being tortured, like Couey did to poor Jessica. And her family appears to be moving on?

AND if they aren't back in the house and moved away, what if Haleigh hopefully walks back to the house and her Dad is no longer there? Makes me think Ron and Misty know Haleigh is not coming back... IMO it is because the Children were on medicaid that the state of Florida went after the dead beat mom for not helping out to support her first 2 Children.

Like you..I cannot watch the videos or look at her photos. Too much runs through my mind what "could" be happening to this little girl. I can't imagine never knowing what happened to one of my children. It must be the worse possible thing.. I would think I'd always have in the back of my head that they were out there alive somewhere.. NG wasn't about to go off about this "engagement" and how she really feels about it with TN there. She made her point though when she asked TN and Ray about the spousal privilege aspect (or lack thereof) and they both made it very clear that spousal privilege "after the fact" doesn't apply here.

Good morning All! I am so thrown by this engagement. The minute I read about it my heart sank, just a gut feeling of "no way!" I dont care what anyone says about his decision making skills, this is just wrong! He never worried 'bout marraige before this. What i got from misty's giddiness is ' I won, look he's gonna marry ME' also that she got her reward for helping. I'm also not so sympathetic of his mother. It seems that she and HaLeigh had a good relationship. She made sure if she purchased something for herself......she got one for HaLeigh too.

Misty's SIL stated in her news report that HaLeigh was going to have a white dress for the wedding just like Misty's..............so...........I guess this wedding had been discussed with HaLeigh.

When my gd married, I saw the little dresses for small girls so that they looked like the brides............you could purchase one just like the one the bride was wearning.

It breaks my heart that HaLeigh is missing...............I hope that she is home soon.

There are many families that have slept through abductions IMO. IF that is what happened, I can't imagine placing the blame on her like this. I was complaining to my mom about it last night. I'm a follower of the CA case to the hilt, don't get me wrong. Every other week, new stuff is released in that case.. but NG just goes on and on and on about it. I just would rather see the faces of other missing children sometimes. Even just a half hour of it. Nobody can do anything for Caylee.. but maybe something can be done for Haleigh now.. or Adji.. or there is that new little girl she showed where the mother ended up dead. and many many many more little faces we could be seeing.

When the video of Misty talking about her and Haleigh having the same shoes, Misty said Haleigh always wanted the same things she had. I have to tell you my opinion, on the interview posted a bit ago with TN about the engagement. I did not see a giddy, gleeful person at all. She still looks like a truck (of grief mind you) has ran her over. I feel terrible for her. I'm not really very fond of either of Haleigh's parents, but who is to say that Ron wouldn't be in arrears if he didn't have custody? I also do appreciate Crystal's honesty that she admits that she wouldn't take Haleigh to her doctor's appointments. When Ron was asked about his drug use, he just denies it. At least be a man and own up dude, we saw your record. Crystal could have lied about not wanting to get up and take Haleigh to the doc, because really who would have ever known (it was her word against his), but she stepped up to the plate and admitted her wrongdoings.

I have to say, the part where Haleigh allegedly went missing and fell into the creek while under Ron's watch is not fair to Ron. Clearly Crystal was there too at the time (because she says she revived her) which IMO makes her equally responsible for her daughter's whereabouts in that instance.

I don't know what the judge was thinking in this custody case... I guess it was something like well the kids have to go to one of them... toss a coin???

Yes, Misty is very young.

Young enough to understand HaLeigh needing attention.

Young enough to play with the children. When I think about this........I remember that poem about wishing you had spend more time with your children playing/listening to them/etc instead of worrying about how clean the house was.

It is about as much a fact as the one where someone keeps saying that Crystal has a third kid with another man... I have no idea if she even has a third child and I also have no idea if it is with another man. But I keep seeing it on here and not asking for a link. I haven't seen any DNA tests in either of these situations, so I couldn't say for sure one way or another if these children exist, or who they belong to.

Crystal has a third child, almost 11 months old, named Chloe. Don't really need dna since she gave birth to her .. :) If you go to her myspace you can see pictures of her. She's cute.

I believed it was just last week I posted the same about other missing children..and mentioned Adji. It seems the Anthony case is what its all about right now with ratings and all. Not that Caylee is not important but at least she has been found and KC is in jail with a trial in front of her. Haleigh is still out there somewhere. Seems that NG has been wearing gloves with the family members of Haleigh and I can not understand why. Just don't know.

There really is not much for the media to cover in either Adji or Haleigh's case. As long as they mention they are still missing they are keeping the information in the public. I don't think the media is going to do an hour show on tatoos or engagements. That is only good for message board fodder. Since the tatoos and engagement the number of posters on this thread has doubled. Even with the extra posters there is not much being discussed about Haleigh being missing or anything helpful to help find her. JMO

Ron may very well be paying child support for this third child if it is indeed his. Maybe that is why he works so hard because he has 3 children to care for instead of just 2. I certainly wouldn't dispute that he goes to work (although I couldn't be sure if he works hard while he is there or not because I have no idea one way or another).
I don't know why Misty would say that Ron has another child to news reporters if it wasn't true, that doesn't really make any sense to me.

How convenient of him to play dumb since no court ordered DNA test for child support has been initiated. Since I do not know for certain that this child is his, I will not say that he should support him.

If someone can prove to me that it is, by all means, not ONLY should he support this child with money but with his time and his love as well.

These children deserve more than Crystal has been willing to provide.

She was very cocky IMO when she was discussing that. Bad choice of words on her part though.. I'll take into consideration her lack of education (as she should still be in school). She has no other way to prove that she was home at this point IMO.. so the lie detector test (that we dont' know whether she passed or not) is her proof.. in her mind .. JMO.. Hope I made sense.

I think you made very good sense.

What struck me as being revealing about that interview was the striking change in her overall demeanor when the subject changed from engagement & marriage to Haleigh being missing & how she (Misty) passed her lie detector test. If you watch it w/o listening her words, you can easily see the shift in body language. The sappy grin, the giddiness that you see while she is giggling & smiling & talking about the engagement goes straight out the window. The corners of her mouth & the look in her eyes changes. Her shoulders 'rear back' in a right-left-right movement. Her body goes into more of a 'squared off' posture & her face looks sullen.

Then there is the whole dynamic of choosing words which are defensive. In the same way that both Misty & Ron chose words during the 911 call which first offer excuses & reasons on why they can't be 'blamed' (even though no one at that point has blamed or accused them of anything) - Misty again words her sentences with excuses. She makes the pre-emptive strike - she 'knows' people will think it is wrong, but it really isn't, because it is what Haleigh wanted.

Then there is the whole scene of Misty talking about how she & Haleigh did/have everything alike. If she had something, Haleigh had the same. If Haleigh had shoes like 'this', Misty got shoes like 'this'.

When it got to the point where Misty was saying she knew that if she got a ring, Haleigh would have one too - that tore it for me. It is SO WRONG, on EVERY level imaginable, for a parent to encourage or allow their child to think that their roles (the child) is the SAME as the parent's partner. That is creepy & inappropriate to the max.

I don't know whether it was Misty's intent to impart the impression that Haleigh viewed herself as being in competition with Misty, but she did & in a very bad way. Telling people that Haleigh would also be wearing a white dress & would get a ring at the marriage ceremony was a huge & horrible indication of the mindset that seems to be working in Misty & Ron. The part that we can't know is whether all of that was primarily present in Misty's thinking vs. how much of it was initiated & encouraged by Ron. Either way, NO father should allow, promote or encourage his little daughter to think that she is a miniature version of his wife or girlfriend. That is just wrong, wrong, WRONG!

Saying "I don't know" (in reference to if someone is your child or not) would be a good indication that he did have a sexual encounter with this girl either way. Because he wouldn't say "I don't know" (or however he put it) if he didn't have sex with her, correct?

Here's what I don't get with some of the theories or thoughts. If Ron has this 3rd child as misti states, why not own up to it? Either he doesn't know for fact, or it has no relevancy to this case (which it doesn't IMO). If he does know why isn't he getting visitation?
