This is good place to store all evidence released to the public by LE in the case of missing Haleigh...
The Initial Police Report
The Home
202 Green Drive, Satsuma, FL 32189
The home that was being lived in and rented by Ronald Cummings, father of missing 5 year old Haleigh Cummings has been sealed off as a crime scene. Ron Cummings refused to leave the area and has been living in a tent nearby the home since. LE has yet to release the home back to Cummings. According to the initial report, there were no signs of forced entry.
K9 Evidence
Putnam County called in a K9 unit to help find missing Haleigh. Jeff Hardy and the K9 unit initiated a track beginning at the back/side door of the residence. The track lead directly out the backdoor, and down a wooded path, as we traveled down the wooded path, we located what appeared to be a small child's footprint in the dirt. It was noted that Ronald said Haleigh's shoes were still inside the residence. The track led to a pond and then back to Green Drive. At the last residence on the right side of Green Dr. was a small building with a door which had been left open. I entered the building and verified that no one was inside. The track then continued north past the residence, where we made a left turn on Monroe Ave. We made another left onto Buchanan Circle, which we followed in a loop back to Monroe Ave. (the next sentence was removed, blacked out) We then made a right turn on Buffalo Bluff Road, to the railroad crossing, where we were forced to end the track, because the K9 was unable to follow it further.
Interview with Ronald Cummings
Ronald when asked what happened stated he had just gotten home from work, and Misty told him his daughter was missing. Ronald said he did not know what his daughter was wearing, and that all he knew was the backdoor was standing open. Ronald repeatedly said someone has taken his child, and that he would kill him. Ronald referred to a 9mm Beretta hand gun which he owned inside his residence. On scene Ronald did not provide any useful information, later Cummings was transported to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office for further interview on the night Haleigh went missing.
Statement of Event's from Misty Croslin
After talking to Ron upon arriving at the scene, Sheriff Jeff Hardy then went to speak to Misty Croslin. Misty said she had put the children to bed at approx. 8:00pm. Misty said that they were sleeping in her bed, and when she laid down around 10:30pm both children were still in bed. When asked who the other child was, Misty advised the child was Haleigh's brother. Misty told Jeff Hardy that she woke up just before 3:00am to get a drink and she noticed that Haleigh was missing, however the the other child was still in bed. Misty said that she was sure the back door had been locked prior to her going to bed. Misty said that approx. 5 minutes after she noticed Haleigh missing, Ronald arrived home. Misty said that as soon as she told Ronald Haleigh was missing he instructed her to call 911, she did. Misty was asked if she ever took Haleigh on a walk, and she responded that she sometimes walked with Haleigh to (blanked out on page) to visit her family.
Teresa Neves Statement
Teresa arrived on scene who had been called by her son Ronald shortly after he learned Haleigh was missing. Teresa stated Haleigh's mother is Crystal Sheffield, however, Ronald has full custody. Teresa added Ronald and Crystal have not been disputing the custody of Haleigh. Teresa provided a school photo of Haleigh. A paragraph of information was blacked out on paper right after the Teresa Neves statement.
