She can only, at best case scenario, get her back 4 days a month. She was found to be unfit to parent her. I see my doctor more than that.

I think the case just turned. I have a sinking feeling in my stomach after seeing the heat put to the father, Ron. He studdered, flushed when asked questions, he seemed guilty in his expressions. He has a hot temper and apparently uses that temper to put people into fear so they don't talk.

He has no enemies?
He's never done drugs?
He's never hit the child, except where protective services say it's okay, on the bottom?
He never hit his ex while married?

Now that all this is up for questioning, there will be some people digging to find out how many times child services has been called to his house and how many times there have been domestic disputes.

And now we know why Misty is so nervous and fearful in her behavior. She probably knows exactly what happened.

Actions and Misty speech do not go along with the adrenaline theory, I would say. That 911 call was difficult to understand due to the slurred words. And she didn't just get up, she was high as a kite and that is probably why Ron called her a B***ch. Her eyes show it also day after day. Is that the delay in calling 911, having to despose of drugs in the house?
JMO as I never treated her for a drug problem nor do I know anyone who did.

I'm not going to accuse Misty of being on drugs, but you're right that anyone who is using illegal drugs and has them in the house does not want to call LE for anything ~ so they would think about "disposing of" the drugs first before calling 911. MOO

Ron Cummings must be feeling near suicidal tonite. 11 days of horror, Bill O'Rielly announcing on TV that Hayleigh was dead, not knowing what else to do, where to look, who could have done this.And now the trashing and nasty attack by his child's mother and her family on national TV. Knowing many will take it as fact. Thinking that people will think he is a bad man and doesn't deserve help or even worse--that he killed her.

I really hurt for him. I can't imagine. I hope that still having Jr. will help him stay strong. He looked so desperate and hopeless when under attack tonight.

If there is a God, I trust people who do things like Geraldo did tonite will be held to account.

I'd like to see Geraldo's rap sheet from say 17-30.

If it turns out that he had anything to do with this, I'll admit I've been had but I believe he is suffering unimaginably.

Thank you to Crystal Sheffield. It took a lot of courage to bring the abuse she and others have suffered from Ronald Cummings to the national tv audience.

We all heard him verbally abuse Misty many times. Where there is that level of verbal abuse, the physical abuse is not far behind.

I have personally been suspicious of him from the very minute I heard the 911 call. IMO, he is an out-of-control bully and a sexual predator, who is evidently hiding behind the fact that mommy works for the local LE.

IMO, the local LE should have turned this case over to another agency immediately, and maybe Haleigh's would be home by now.

I have a feeling that after Geraldo's performance tonight Lawyers will be lining up by Monday (if not sooner) to represent Ron.

This has to be the most disgusting thing I have seen done to a parent of a missing child- And while Crystal and her mother want to talk about Ron being abusive it was not Ron who chose to be abusive tonight.


Odd that Crystal's Mom finally showed up. It's only been Ron's Mom. I avoid Geraldo.

I am so sad for Ron. What he said to/about Misty was disturbing, but....I most likely would have behaved in the same manner.

Who knows? Until Haleigh is found it's all a toss up. So sad for this sweet little baby girl.

After 10 absents from school my GS need a dr's excuse. My GS get strep throat nearly 5 times a year. Now if the kids feel ok she sends them anyhow so complain to your schools. If school are now setting a limit on days kids can be sick it not the parents choice anymore to keep them home. And ya wonder why your kids are sick more now than years ago?

In big cities PD's have paid informers. In counties and sparsely populated areas confidential informers (CI's) are usually paid by a reduction in their drug charges. It makes no sense that RC would be an informer because his drug charges were misdemeanors--no intent to deliver (dealing) or manufactoring. He was not facing mandatory jail time. No incentive to become an informer imo.

as far as the profiles on myspace.com go, you have to be signed up in the site then you go to find friends i think and then just put in her name crystal sheffield and she will come up. Shes 23. she did say she has a baby and her other brats. I dont think the baby is Rons, is it??????? also on Misty's profile she says shes 19 and single so she lied about that. ron doesn't have a profile on there, does he?????

Maybe they do things differently down there. In my experience, generally if a parent calls in and says their child can not attend school because of their health, the absence is excused.

I am a few pages behind so this may have been said but ..

I think some schools require a note (to have on file) even if you do call in and also Ron gets off work at 3am. It is possible it was Misty's responsibility to either get Ron up to help Haleigh or get up herself because he would be asleep and Misty did not wake up herself and that is why some of the missed days are not excused ..

If he is honest with LE is all I care about. He can lie to every talk show and it doesn't matter. All that matters is LE.

Ron's drug charges were from before the kids were born and when Crystal accused him during the Court hearing he had already had a clean UA to show he wasn't doing drugs.

Now if you think an agree deer or Moose took Haleigh then I would agree his record matters since most of his offenses were hunting or trespassing related.
