Bill Clinton: I should have better regulated derivatives

I had the pleasure of seeing President Clinton yesterday. His speech was fabulous. He is SUCH a brilliant man. Here is some info on it:

Now, now, those types of questions are not the type that this so-called reporter would dare ask. The softball questions she did ask did not make for a meaningful interview. It was a PR stunt. Clinton is still trying to build his own legacy and he gave a lukewarm nod to the new pres.

Notice that when asked specific questions about whether BO would succeed, there was no "yes" answer, but he danced around things.

Did we watch the same interview? I guess it's a matter of interpretation, and one hearing what they want to hear. :crying:

I happen to disagree with each of your opinions. My opinions are exactly the opposite. BTW, Pres. Clinton doesn't have to do anythng for the benefit of PR. You do know how much he's paid to speak, and how he can only accept about half of the requests he gets, don't you? IMO

Thank you Susan.... great article.

Maybe it's ok to quote Clinton's words (about John McCain's criticism that Obama is off to a bad start):

Clinton: I just disagree with him, but we have a different economic philosophy. For example, there's 100 economic studies which show that you get a better return in terms of economic growth on extending unemployment benefits or investing money in energy conservation jobs to improve buildings than you do giving people in my income group a tax cut.
