Although I am still upset and disturbed the Anthonys did not allow the Grunds to attend. I still feel/felt a lot of compassion for them. I am sure this must be one of the saddest days of their lives. IMOITA cry...I think the family has made a mistake and told the world FAR too much about what her daily life was like. They shareed about Caylee..that she watched hours of video, had to wake her grandma up in the morning to get breakfast...
They would have done well to have turned this all over to a third party and had pre-prepared statements about CAYLEE and only Caylee read.
It's not Casey's memorial, and even if she was NOT charged, even if she had died in an accident with her child, this memorial is NO PLACE for little anecdotes about Casey and what she meant to the family. This is CAYLEE's memorial.
UGGGHHHH! I want so badly to feel for these people, to be able to pull up some empathy, and they keep showing how ugly and WRONG they are time and again.

Well to be honest, if it wasn't for casey none of this would be happening and we wouldn't be here. The water bottle chugger seems to be having a grand old time so I can't be surprised she would thank casey.
As far as lee is concerned...maybe his 'promise' to CMA was to always present himself in a totally creepy manner and he's doing a bang-up job. I guess I should be thankful he didn't explode into a fit of giggles.

Sadly I didnt even have an expectation that they would condemn Casey or acknowledge her guilt. All I had hoped was that they would not mar Caylee's memorial by having it overshadowed by Casey and her presumed guilt. I had hoped this would be solely about Caylee. That would have been very tasteful.

For the most part, I think it was. I don't think Casey should have been mentioned at all, either, but Cindy is Cindy and loves her daughter unconditionally. I wish she hadn't said what she did, but other than that the memorial has been just beautiful, all about Caylee.
