The question I was answering was if at that moment, they could even fathom that their daughter killed their granddaughter. I don't think at that moment they knew Casey killed Caylee. JMO

They did, I went away for 3 days and my beloved SunShine was close to death when I got home, she died a day later, her room stunk, it smelled of death, I bleached the floor and the walls and I still smelled my stray little cat that I tried to save.

You or so right casey is 22 years old and c and g and lee know her well and know how she would do things just to make them mad. I guess casey;s lawyer has talked her into selling the pictures if I was g and c I would not let them have them. I am sure cindy paid for every picture that was taken of caylee. I don;t know if casey did this but who elce could have killed caylee? Until they come up with someone that had a reason to kill caylee then I have to think it was casey. She was the last one to see her baby. If she did this to caylee her own baby then I would not put anything past her. A person that could do that has no heart and no feelings.jmho

I am surprised the Anthony's are going on with this "public memorial" - I don't understand why they feel the need to do this. I don't think this is a healthy choice for George at all. Who made this decision? Was it Cindy? and if it was, did she ever think that George might not be emotionally ready for something this extravagant and stressful?

Just as I suspected. I watched all stations tonight that discussed this case. It was confirmed that all the test on the remains were done weeks ago. There was never a plan to do more testing. Tell me, fellow posters, why have the Anthonys' not buried/cremated caylee with some religious ceremony a funeral per se. I have my own theories, Is it once that has happened the money will stop. Are they negotiating to the highest bidder. ? there must be a reason. Why have their baby girls remains lay in a box, on a shelf in the funeral home. Put the child to rest for God's sake. What could be more important $$$$$$$$$
I swear to you all ....I expect to see her clothes, toys, sold on EBay after the trial. also, will they be selling the plastic bracelets SOUVENIERS OF THE MEMORIAL at the door. 5000 people $10 bucks a shot. Cindy and Jose will squeeze this story dry. Can you imagine after the trial what we will be in for. Money from everywhere. While we gag, did we create this monster? the biggest Realityshow,ever. I dont think Cindy will have power of attorney until Casey is in the bighouse, so the fact that Caylee isnt buried is all Casey doing. Not Georges, not Cindys, but Caseys.
But who is advising Casey? And who wants to get paid?

They may have thought someone died, that someone may have been Caylee but I do not believe they thought Casey killed Caylee. Its a particular moment. At the moment asked about....you do mean when they smelled the car at the towyard right? george and cindy didn't go to amscott IIRC....I think they knew SOMEONE had died......and that it was probably Caylee.....but not in the vicious way with duct tape and heart sticker....so I guess yes....I do think they knew at the towyard that Caylee was dead, but it was probably an accident.....

Cindy was content to wait and let Casey give her an explanation from what she told Debbie - coworker, and Debbie went to the DIRECTOR telling her what was going on. What a mess IMO. Cindy was content to believe whatever Casey would tell her and that goes back to childcare too. I know if I lived in my mother's home, she would have met the childcare provider and most certainly had her contact information. JMO:confused:

Im confident you have read GA's various LE/FBI statements and he is very clear about what he encountered and what his fears were. but because there wasnt a body, he chose to ignore the seriousness of the find.

if GA/CA called 911 at the moment in time, (the pain of seeing a doll in her carseat and smelling that smell and seeing that stain).......this case would have unravelled quite differently....that would have been a crime scene, with LE discovering the maggots and flies without trash diving, bagging the clothing, SEEING THE ORIGINAL STAIN...much much different process and apprehension of Casey 'for questioning'.

IIRC, G told LE that when he opened the car he knew what the smell was. He asked the tow yard guy to look with him as he opened the trunk as he'd not seen his daughter or granddaughter. He was expecting to see a body when he opened that trunk. Look up the transcript and you'll have his whole statement in his words.

I don't disagree. Maybe if Casey had picked up her phone when her mother called they would have responded differently. I don't believe they thought they were doing anything wrong. I do believe they now wish they had done things differently. Even if it is just to remove some of the suspicion from falling on Casey. JMO

ITA with you/ if my grandbaby was missing my back yard would be the last place i would ever look. When I smelled the car i would not have taken it home or touched it I would have been scream and crying for someone to help me because i know something has happened to my baby. Casey has never cryed or shed one tear for caylee. I still can;t stand to look at susan smith picture after what she did to those beautiful little boys but she did get on tv and cry for help to find them.I hope she never get out of prison. I hope she thinks of those boys everyday of her life.Casey has never cryed or begged for anyone to find caylee.now she is going to seel pictures of her to pay to get out of what ever she did to caylee. how sad. I'll have to say it's the money.......Highest bidder....IMO there will be pictures leaked from autopsy maybe not the ones from ME's office but im guessing some pictures will...IMO they all are as low as they come..anything for a dollar....
the bracelets I said cindy more then likely had them to sell because she has whole name put on them... IMO if they were made just for family and friend they would have just said "Caylee Forever in our heart" not Caylee Marie Anthony forever in our hearts...

I don't disagree. Maybe if Casey had picked up her phone when her mother called they would have responded differently. I don't believe they thought they were doing anything wrong. I do believe they now wish they had done things differently. Even if it is just to remove some of the suspicion from falling on Casey. JMO

I am surprised the Anthony's are going on with this "public memorial" - I don't understand why they feel the need to do this. I don't think this is a healthy choice for George at all. Who made this decision? Was it Cindy? and if it was, did she ever think that George might not be emotionally ready for something this extravagant and stressful?

I don't want to drone on though because if there is live feed of this memorial - I will be watching it.. I don't want to be a hypocrite, but it just doesn't seem right to me.

I believe the public memorial was suggested to the Anthony's as the proper thing to do because of all of the community, and nation's, deep emotional involvement in this case.

I would imagine that the suggestion came from lawyers.

You or so right g and c both knew it was caylee because casey was not dead. they knew they were going to have to back up casey in every way the could. you see what it is doing to george it is eating him up inside. the best thing for all the a;s to do is just tell the truth no matter who it hurts. It will not stop them from loving casey but they will never be able to get on with their lives until they tell the truth. I know they don;t want casey to spend the rest of her life in prison but they need to tell the truth about eveything and get it all out. They can still love casey. I think they should want her to spend the rest of her life in prison. If a stranger had killed Caylee they would want him to get the death penalty. Yeah it's okay for someone else's kid to go to prison for life for murder but not if it's your kid.

Well the parents of the defendant don't get to be on the jury. As a juror I would ignore the feelings of the defendant's parents. I think they should be ignored now actually.

It sounds like a terrible idea, especially considering George's mental state. I can't imagine that all the cameras, media and strangers (many of whom probably strongly dislike the Anthonys) would be good for George. Talk about pressure!!

Why does the community need to be at her funeral anyway? Yes, most of us have become attached to her but we're all still strangers.

Her funeral shouldn't be a spectacle.

That was cindy...when talking to either LE or FBI someone.....cant remember exactly who... Do you really think someone is going to pay a salary for 8 months? maybe a month or 2 but noway 8 without them working? If so I want that job...and if she took a FML they dont get paid while there off at least thats my understanding,,,

If this happens, it will be the icing on the cake IMHO. If they think people despise them now, it will be a whole 'nother story after this takes place. And I pray it doesn't.

I'm not sure if they would be so obvious as to have large posters with casey's pic sitting on display in the church; surely someone has strongly advised them against doing so, but I would imagine we will hear some sweet little stories involving casey. You know like how happy casey was on the day Caylee was born, how much she wanted that baby, how Caylee reminded Cindy so much of casey when she was a baby, how proud she was of her girls, and the way casey loved to play such and such game with Caylee, how everyone said what a good mother she was, all the while family videos are playing on the big screen. This way people will already be sitting down and feel obliged to remain seated. If people walked in and saw posters of casey many would probably turn around and leave.

And Cindy will probably figure out someway to send a message to casey during the service.
