I think it is an important point to make. Especially since surely the defense will go down the road paved by science regarding pig decomp is as close to human decomp as one can get. So they get one juror to buy the empty ham container as the source of the horrible smell, and not a baby girl and casey walks. However, the preservatives, additives ie: nitrites etc. would prevent the normal pig decomp.
Actually, even as a nurse, I didn't think about it until I read that post. I was already thinking of how this would really muddy the waters for the SA's case.

I don;t see how anyone but casey could have done this to caylee. I sure hope they don;t do something to get her off if she did do this. Everything points to casey so until I hear something elce that will change my mind I still think casey did it. I agree. This is going to sound really bad, but I understand if the A's would want to commit suicide. I would have a very,very difficult time seeing what there is to live for if I was in their position. The only answer I could come up with is they have another child and parents, siblings etc. that suicide would not be fair to.

I also wonder if rage towards Casey has been building in Cindy since Caylee's remains were found. The duct tape and heart sticker information must have been a stunning blow to both Cindy and George, regardless of how they may have felt and covered up for Casey prior to the discovery. Ok I am confused I thought the motions need to be directed to the people in question. So does that mean Equasearch will be there and the owner of the property of the crime scene. Isn't that what the judge has stated in the past

I don't think anything has been very normal in that family in the last few years that we know about. Casey getting pg, everyone denying it, George leaving Cindy & filing for divorce, domestic calls to the home from the sheriff's office, Casey lying about having a job and was probably stealing from everyone then. Normal at this time last year? I highly doubt it. In fact I think in the beginning they even said Lee had been estranged from the family for about a year until around the time of Cindy's birthday.

I have a hard time believing Lee and his "being estranged" from the family. He lived within BLOCKS of them... His mother doesnt seem like the type to allow him to slip off into his own life. I brought this over because earlier this afternoon I posted the law so this disagreement could be ended. It is section 3.180, page 53 -54 in The Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure. Now in the judges order we see it is the rule he quotes in forcing her to attend all criminal case hearings except scheduling or status checks. I know you don't believe this, but it is the law in Florida.

The only thing that generated hostile attitudes and (cough) serious threats, is the fact that the media gave casey, george, lee and cindy the ability to spew their BS into the camera lens. The blame lies solely with the anthonys.

I doubt baez would get dinged, unless he interfered with transport of casey or something like that.
If she isn't in line & ready to go to the courthouse in the am, the guards will get her ready or take her however she is (like last time) then transport her to the courthouse. She doesn't have any option to not show, especially with the amount of prior notice the judge has given the jail and baez.
Basically, I think baez caused this problem by running his mouth in court, telling the judge he relayed to casey what he felt she needed to know. IMO,if he had not said that, the judge may have let her slide on some hearings. But now he has to be careful casey has knowledge of everything happening and is agreeing with how she is being represented.
Also, IMO, there is a chance the DP could be put back on the table which only kicks each and every hearing/motion up a few notches.

So not only do we have Baez denying involvement with Black, we've got Black saying his name isn't even Todd Black.

Does Jose get how enormously ridiculous all this makes him look? He's so concerned that he's being persecuted and Casey's being tried and fried in the media, yet the man hasn't done one thing yet that I can recall that hasn't backfired and added to his ginormous credibility issue.

I doubt baez would get dinged, unless he interfered with transport of casey or something like that.
If she isn't in line & ready to go to the courthouse in the am, the guards will get her ready or take her however she is (like last time) then transport her to the courthouse. She doesn't have any option to not show, especially with the amount of prior notice the judge has given the jail and baez.
Basically, I think baez caused this problem by running his mouth in court, telling the judge he relayed to casey what he felt she needed to know. IMO,if he had not said that, the judge may have let her slide on some hearings. But now he has to be careful casey has knowledge of everything happening and is agreeing with how she is being represented.
Also, IMO, there is a chance the DP could be put back on the table which only kicks each and every hearing/motion up a few notches.

Well I am bummed that biaz's only punishment will be embarrassment and perhaps a bit of distance from "his girl".
Soooo even if casey sits on her bunk with her arms crossed and says Make Me!, they will drag her bum into court? That would be fantastic. lol

I thought it was odd that it was not discussed on the show - just a caption on the bottom. I would think that if they had found one with the body that it would have been mentioned a long time ago.

I do remember hearing about the knife with the last doc dump I think. I will try to find it. But I wondered as well, why they were running on the headline thing and never spoke about it. Maybe they are waiting for more info? I think all that has been released about it, is it's presence. I also wonder if it was one of the thing linking the house to the crime scene, as if it was part of a set or something.

I think that is a very important issue. And in some ways it bothers me almost as much as his blunders & stumbles in the strictly legal sense. If he does not have the humility or whatever you would call it to admit he does not have the financial resources it takes to give Casey a proper defense, the rest of the defense will suffer. He won't get stuff done in a timely fashion, he'll be in court every other day to plead for more time, etc.

It does read well! The defendant, through her attorney is asking for something outside the jurisdiction of the court, trying to sidestep proper procedure (Baez hates doing his own work), has no basis for the request, (since TES has said since Caylee was found that they never searched that area before it was flooded and couldn't after) and no reason to invade the privacy of volunteers since they never discovered anything related to the case. If they do want papers, they should offer to pay for them and prove they actually have the $$ to do so from legal sources. (since they've already ripped the state off for several hundred. :laugh:

Perhaps they called in sick and don't want their boss to see that they were actually out searching. Perhaps they have financial/legal/family/other troubles and don't want to come under public "scrutiny." Perhaps they are concerned about identity theft (by criminals like Casey) if their names and personal information become public. Perhaps they just happen to like their constitutionally-protected privacy.

Perhaps they are concerned about identity theft (by criminals like Casey) if their names and personal information become public. Perhaps they just happen to like their constitutionally-protected privacy.

I wonder WHY anyone questions the reasons the volunteers might wish to maintain their privacy....just seeing that so many docs. released in this case failed to redact the personal information of the parties mentioned is enough reason for me.
As you say...imagine 4,000 SS#'s, home addies, full names, employers, etc. "out" there. That would be quite tempting for many a criminal!

IMO, Janie W (now on HLN Issues news show) is a bumbling idiot. It seems she never knows what she is talking about and goes off half-cocked so much of the time. I would LOVE to talk to her and ask her questions, and see if she is capable of giving a straight answer without shouting and forgeting our judicial system is an adversarial process. I think she forgets the state is entitled to a fair trial just as the defense is. I would also ask her if she has ever known a defense attorney to make a mistake.
Now she is excited about the defense motion to dispose of the SA. I am going sit here and see if she is going to mention the fact that we ALL now know Baez mis-represented TB and his company's relationship with his firm, and the mis-representation of names, etc.
Especially when this is supposedly a PR firm. How can this PR firm have a legitmate relationship with the media/attorney and most importantly with the DEFENDANT? Casey has relied on him/his company to deal with the media in her name, while the company is acting in an inherently dishonest fashion. I also wonder if she will mention baez being in trouble with the FL Bar over his advertising.

Wait a minute. I was just watching the video of Casey saying this is the first time she's been angry. WHAT? You haven't been angrier than angry at being accused of murdering your own daughter? IF you didn't do it? OMG. I would be SO angry, I would be spitting tacks from the get-go.

Revenge towards Cindy as a motive? I don't think it was something so sinister. I think Casey's anger towards Cindy precipitated the murder - but I don't think she intended to kill Caylee. I think she struck out at Caylee (and killed her) as a direct result of her anger towards Cindy (and George?).... but I don't think she formed intent. She maybe even strangled her in the heat of the moment (resulting from anger at parents).

She could've avoided ALL of this by just being HONEST. What a concept, huh? She would've had to pay the piper, but it would not've gone to this silly extent. What a twit.
