Mine too, and I agree with you sammie, but I think he needs to get out of that home and away from Cindy. He needs to get away to just clear his head and figure out how he's going to deal with his future.
My guess is that George will go STRAIGHT HOME TO CINDY when he is released. jmo

Sometimes I feel guilty because I am SO onto my son. I read his my space page, I check his text messages, and monitor his in/out phone calls. He's going into the teen years, and understands that the only privacy he has is in the bathroom. Am I overprotective? You betcha!
Not to mention, his computer is right next to his dad's and we can monitor all his IM's and internet history.
Too bad George and Cindy knew so little about their 22 year old monster.
I was just like you with mine... My daughter had to be in house by time street lights were on.. When she turned 16 had her DL nothing changed . Car in driveway you be home.. If late grounded 1 day for every minute.. If they Went to friends house you call me when you get there from their home phone...
ITA about c and g not paying attention to what was going on... BUT IMO cindy could careless as long as she wasn't in her spotlight... BOTH mother and daughter narcissistic

I'm so sick of hearing oh poor George oh poor cindy what they must be going thru.. Well they damn sure wouldn't be going thru this, IF they had done what most Grandparents would have done ,If they thought their child was an unfit mother...What about what POOR CAYLEE WENT THRU? SHE WAS MURDERED BY HER OWN MOM! Has everyone forgot about her?
Did either one of the A's try to do right by defenseless helpless Caylee?
NO!... They all knew casey had NO JOB, NO MONEY, NO HOME, NO WAY TO FEED CAYLEE... What did any of them do? NOTHING!..
Oh, but the minute casey was at the jail being interrogated they go into cover mode for their MURDERING, LYING, THEIVING NARCISISTIC DAUGHTER!
George's suicide attempt was a SCAM! Once again the A's are
scamming the public.. YOU dont take burger , fries, 12 pack of beer , empty pill bottles and order a pizza,to commit suicide.. He sure got well fast now didn't he... WELL That didn't take long! Lets see what they try the next doc dump ... What will it be next cindy tried to hang herself with a garden hose?? THIS suicide scam was just to get media to stop talking about what the mother of the year did.. To Caylee..... it worked didnt it?
This whole damn family needs to be charged!...JMHO! :flamemad:
Yes, what about Caylee? Everybody seems to have forgotten Caylee. Meanwhile, George and Cindy Anthony are doing their best to focus the public eye on themselves, on their poor "mother of the year" daughter, on their nifty t-shirts. After Caylee's remains were found, what was one of the *first* things we heard from Cindy - an angry email defending Casey. Who did Casey focus on when she's in jail - HERSELF. Instead of focusing on burying Caylee, what did George do - made a bigger circus by running off and texting suicidal messages. And BING, he's all better now. Wow, I wanna know who his weekend counselor was - what a miracle worker.

Anyone else think that Casey's intention was to have the fake nanny frame Cindy? I think fake nanny hated Cindy and was trying to "save" Caylee from her. Think about it....dumping Caylee with all those items from the home....That One Tree Hill episode really got me going on all of this.

I very much agree! Which is why he needs to get counseling and then get out of that house. (Which I don't think will ever happen. They have developed these family dynamics over these many years, and this is what they KNOW.)
ITA. But does George have the cojones to leave? I don't think so.

I don't follow that rule about not judging people unless you have walked in their shoes. I don't think that is a practical rule and it's based on a false pretense as we all have to make judgments about people every day or we can't live effectively. What if the employer said, I can't fire this guy who is doing a crummy job because I have not walked in his shoes? And if people want to judge me without having walked in my shoes it's okay by me.
Anyway....what were we talking about?
I think there are certain situations that you can't know what you would do unless you had walked in the other person's shoes. Like the murder of your child or grandchild. People will say "well if that was me I would...
but they can't know what they would do or how they would feel or how they would handle it because it hasn't happened to them.

ITA Bobbi. It is the same as people saying if George had wanted to commit suicide, he'd be dead now. Well, all they have to do is google to find out just how many people have unsuccessful attempts just to go on and ultimately succeed. I don't think any one of us (even those of us who have been treated for suicide attempts) know what George is going through. We've only seen a very small part of his life - who knows what his life has been like for the last 10, 20 or 30 years.

you mean the suicide scare that has apparently turned into a miracle??
not just that george is feeling better, or more hopeful, or whatever, but he has "regained the will to live!"
they must use some pretty fast-acting potent anti-depressants at halifax :)
Truly.
"I want to live!!"
Oh, the Susan Hayward of it all.

I have to say that I am a supporter of George and Cindy. I admit they lied and that is wrong. I think the reasons they lied may seem silly to us, but under the situation they are in it is what had to be. I believe Casey killed Caylee and she alone did it. I do not think G and C had anything to do with it and I think it shows in the jail videos where you could see in there faces that they were looking for her to say she was ok because they needed to hear it. They did not rock the boat with Casey because if she got mad and wouldn't talk to them they would not get that little bit of hope that she gave them. Like she knew where caylee was and that she was safe. If they didn't get that then they would have to see that she was dead and they couldn't accept that. Look how these two changed in appearance during all this. To say that it was a ploy G saying he wanted to kill himself is IMO wrong. They I am sure feel they let Caylee down and did not protect her, that would be hard to live with and then people say such nice things about them that it can't help with all this stress.
I agree! I stayed up and wached Larry king ( for the VERY 1st time, lol) last night and Dr. Phil was on giving his oppinions and such. It always makes sense after listening to him give his views which lead's me BACK to feeling horribly sorry for the A's!!! Jesse Grund ( and family) will be on the Dr. Phil show on Fri (just in case you didn't already know)
